Pathetic... only the decor is amusing, gloomy atmosphere, unfriendly service, mediocre food with extra charges... only worth it if you're really hungry after 9:30 pm... tourist trap, no value for money

The pizzas are frozen, the garlic bread was very medium, the sauce was butter. This restaurant is garbage. The worst experience ever

I'm at a loss for words to describe my terrible dining experience at this "restaurant," which, in my opinion, is anything but! We ordered pizzas for €16.50 (even though they were advertised at €9) that were clearly frozen and of very poor quality. We also ordered frozen mozzarella balls and frozen bread.

Very expensive for what it is, not good at all, and the staff are incredibly unpleasant.

Friendly service, food was okay. I had a Margherita pizza which tasted a bit like it was frozen. But the price was absolutely fine.

We ate there last Sunday with four people. Super tasty food, friendly staff.

We were hungry, and almost all the good restaurants in the area were fully booked, so we ended up here. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. From the outside, the restaurant's location and appearance make it seem inviting, but the food quality was disastrous. Several dishes were barely edible. The chicken, sausages, pancakes, and burgers are absolutely not recommended. Orders were repeatedly brought incorrectly, and even when orders were correct, they contained the wrong ingredients—for example, a burger without bacon was served with bacon, even though it costs an extra €2. The chicken was particularly bad: completely unseasoned and practically raw. When we pointed this out, the owner (white shirt, hat) claimed that's how it was supposed to be—which is obviously not true. He had previously assured us that we wouldn't have to pay anything if the food was bad. When we reminded him of this, he became loud and aggressive, accusing us of being disrespectful to his business. We remained calm, but in the end, despite barely having touched our food, we were forced to pay the full price. The service was very poor overall: unfriendly, overwhelmed, no information about allergens, and a complete lack of customer service skills. Another highlight, in a negative sense: a Coke for €5.50 with a fly in the glass. Because of the dark color, we only noticed it when the glass was almost empty. The waitress didn't apologize but blamed us. In the end, we received a paltry €1 refund – so we effectively paid €4.50 for a Coke with a fly. Unhygienic and unacceptable. The prices are also misleading: lower prices are advertised on the street than those later charged on the menu. On top of that, the prices are exorbitant for a quality more reminiscent of frozen food. We were explicitly assured that the pizza was homemade and baked in a wood-fired oven – in reality, it was clearly a frozen pizza being sold for €16. Another issue: Customers are actively lured into the restaurant from the street with slogans like "Make them happy." There was no sign of this inside. Conclusion: Overpriced, poor quality, unhygienic, unprofessional, and sometimes aggressive handling of criticism. A restaurant that is clearly only interested in money – not customer satisfaction. A clear warning and not recommended.

The food wasn't good. The staff doesn't know what they're doing or supposed to do, and they're not friendly. They don't even know what you actually ordered, because you get all sorts of different things than you ordered. They even blame you for the bad service. Terrible restaurant!

We were hungry and there were mines at all the good places so we came to this establishment. The food was really bad do not recommend chicken sausage or pancakes. At the end waiters forced me to tip minimum 10% for a pretty bad service

Firstly I found the staff very welcoming, friendly and professional when serving me and all customers. Reason I chose to stop by this steakhouse was I noticed the prices advertised were reasonable and it was only 2 minute walk from Central Train Station. I ordered a coffee and English breakfast and I can honestly say it was one of the best I’ve had. The breakfast was cooked in the exact way I liked it without me even specifying my tastes and the coffee was in such a large mug I nearly mistook it for a bucket!!! Definitely will make this a more regular pitstop now I’ve discovered it and a personal thank you to all the staff there for their hard work and exceptional hospitality

One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. We were persuaded on the street by a man who told us to come in. He shouted after the staff, "Make them happy!" Well, that didn't work. I've never seen such unfriendly and incompetent service. No information about allergens, no friendliness, no service skills. The food was mediocre. The spaghetti was a child's portion and tasted like a ready-made mix. Admittedly, the starters were good (we had baguette with mozzarella bits). The meat was mediocre, but the price for everything was so high... and then, to top it all off, a pancake with cheese was presented to me with such "love." Wow. Speechless. One of the few times I've ever had absolutely no tip, and a big warning to everyone. Overpriced to boot.

Great service and situated in a very convenient location. Very kind staff members indeed. Decently priced as well! Unfortunately, the food was not delicious. My family and I visited from Florida, USA, and we were looking for a spot with variety and flavor where everyone could find something they liked. After a boat tour, we were greeted by a friendly staff member outside this restaurant, and we’re so glad we gave it a try! We ordered baby back ribs, lasagna, soup, fries, mozzarella bites, grilled chicken, salad, beers, and a mojito—and everything was delicious and full of flavor. If you’re craving Latin or American-style food in the area, this is the place to go!

The restaurant is bad and not suitable for Gulf families. It has a liquor corner and the employee who works there makes sexual comments and his colleague laughs at them. This is what happened to me last night.

Luigi the owner was very professional and knew exactly what he wanted but i do think new staff is needed. Guy who served us was miserable. Pizza was 10/10 though and im fussy!!!

A man from the street was already inviting us for delicious food. Everything was great until I placed my order. When I received a burnt steak and reported it as tough and inedible, the problems began. The cook wouldn't listen, insisting everything was fine, but at one point he became aggressive, raising his voice and waving his arms. No one wanted to listen to us, and the bartenders were also unpleasant. I felt like I'd done something wrong, when in reality I'd received burnt food, and I simply reported it. After some intense discussions, I received a ridiculous discount. I've never felt so bad in a restaurant.

The food is amazing. I would definitely recommend the “Mix Grill” for meat lovers. A singular portion is sufficiently big for 2 person. The menu is also very informational, sharing vegetarian options & also requesting for diners to share their dietary restrictions so that the staff can advise. In addition to the delicious food, the staff are very kind & patient. They are approachable when it comes to food — suggesting drinks & starters before the main course. Thank you so much for the delicious meal & excellent service.

The pizzas are delicious and reasonably priced, but they make up for it with the drinks. It's almost the price of a pizza for a drink. Also, the blonde woman working here is very pushy. I told her to bring the drinks and pizza at the same time, but she kept saying unnecessary things. She said nonsense like "I give the order to the kitchen, it will come when it's ready, I don't know" etc. And anyone who heard that would think the Royal kitchen was in charge. You are taking care of 5 tables, my friend, why do you need to have such unnecessary dialogue with the customer? It can't be that hard to bring the pizza and drinks at the same time...

A hidden gem! I won't lie - a small restaurant in the centre really had us on guard as we had been ripped off before. We were so pleasantly surprised! Delicious pizza, good prices and great selection of food. For two hungry tourists tired from exploring the city the pizza was one of the best we had! What makes this place stand out however is how nice and attentive the staff are. We were treated so well and they were very good to us. If we are ever back we will definitely pop in again.

My two friends and I had lunch at Allstars Steakhouse, located in the heart of Amsterdam Central – a lively area popular with tourists. It was drizzling that day, so we decided to step inside the restaurant to take shelter and have a meal. As expected in a tourist hotspot, the menu prices were on the higher side, but the overall experience made it worthwhile. I ordered the Tuna Pizza and a Zero Coke, while my friends went for the Chicken Wings, Pasta Chicken Special, and Beef Kebab. The food was satisfying, and the service was excellent – staff were friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The restaurant had a comfortable and spacious interior, and despite being in a busy area, the atmosphere inside was calm and not too noisy. A convenient and pleasant spot for a meal if you’re exploring Amsterdam Central!

My food arrived way too late, a colleague got spear ribs without any side dish, and my girlfriend's lasagna was a kid's dish. The prices are ridiculous for that. At first, no one wanted to count our money, but when we pointed it out to someone, they counted our money a thousand times.

Recently ate here. Yes.... nice that it is centrally located and that you get your food quickly. The price/quality ratio is very out of balance. I think 60 euros for a pizza and a hamburger with 2 drinks is very expensive, even in Amsterdam. And the food is also very mediocre. Yes it is better than McDonalds. But for that price you might be better off going to McDonalds.

The only place where I’ve ever been lured in as a tourist with the promise of authentic Italian espresso, which was neither offered nor served. Expensive, and inside you won’t find anything truly Italian. Industrial frozen pizza (pay attention to the shape, it’s perfect) and pasta with sauce that has no sauce and tastes like nothing, overcooked. Additionally, when we went to pay, they tried to charge us for the bread (industrial) with a bit of butter brought on their own initiative—5€, not ordered (we thought it was complimentary). So, pay attention when you pay!!! Tip? Absolutely not!

I never write a review, except when I really like it, but what we were served two days ago was really something unreal. We were offered 100% Italian pizza and pasta, I had better pizza even at the festival, really the worst pizza I've ever eaten. The pizza was not done at all.

Tourist trap. Ushered in by a man outside cause we stopped outside looking on phone for a place to eat. All of the food is extremely overpriced. We ordered a margarita pizza which actually was just cheese, and the waiter asked if we wanted fries with that to which we said sure (not knowing it was a surcharge of €5,50). Beer tasted watered down and smelt like piss on top of it. Total of €35 ($50) for 2 drinks, a shared small cheese pizza and fries. Much better food around here for much cheaper than this dump

Tremendous delicacy, this food is of quality and price, I highly recommend it, especially to my Mexican friends who already miss the spice, try the beef sandwich.

The breakfast had obviously been sat in a hot plate. The toast was very dry, as were the sausages. The bacon was shrivelled. The only parts that were OK were the eggs, hash browns and beans. Not great

I had a few hours before my flight so I took the train to Amsterdam Centraal to find a cafe for breakfast. A kind gentleman greeted me at the door and was extremely helpful and friendly. Very good food and service. I recommend the Halal Breakfast

Went here for breakfast (16/01/25), the breakfast was very tasty, service was very quick. This is one of the cheapest places in Amsterdam, and right on the Damrak
