Owner is unfriendly. Claims to be halal but does not have a certificate. 1 sandwich took half an hour. Buns are very small. Unfriendly, antisocial and unappetizing food.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO HERE! The worst place in all of Amsterdam. The sandwiches were undercooked, the topping unappetizing and without passion. No atmosphere, the coffee was not good (a cappuccino for €4.10!!!), downright bad!!! We didn't eat the sandwiches even though we were so hungry... so disappointed! We reported it, but it was stated that tastes differ. In my opinion, what they offer here should not even be sold as food.

Ordered pom sandwich, curry chicken and fried cod. All three were tasty and well-seasoned. Pepper and acid were also great!

I have visited this property twice. The French toast was tasty, but the shrimp roll did not meet expectations. The employees show a lack of customer focus and service and the menu is limited. .The French toast was pleasantly sweet and tasty. However, the business would benefit from a more extensive menu.

Satay was hard and dry and the ribbed fries were soaking

I brought a group of 8 here and the food was fantastic for everyone. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but that is understandable for the size of our group. I definitely will return here if I visit Amsterdam again.

Enjoyed two delicious baguettes. Very tasty and fresh. Good friendly service, with a neat and hygienic open kitchen. I highly recommend the minced meat/egg, sardine & chicken satay sandwiches. You really get value for your money. I will definitely come here for lunch again!

I would like to share my observation that the pace of the business has seemed a bit slower in recent weeks. And sometimes while I'm taking an order, I see a colleague from the business on the phone, often it seems like a video call. This distracts from the attention that should be paid to me as a customer. Furthermore, I am convinced that if the tall thin gentleman and the bearded gentleman work together more often, this will improve efficiency and customer friendliness, given their fast work pace and friendly approach 😉. Everything I wanted to order was not there or had run out. Waited almost 2 hours for some French toast. Staff is nice but super slow!

The service is not very good, they are busy with each other and do not really pay attention to the customers. Products also run out in the middle of the day, which should not be possible in a good catering business. The food is very tasty.

Great place with fair prices! Would recommend to anyone looking for a fresh and affordable lunch.

Heerlijke (Surinaamse) broodjes, superaardig personeel! Goede prijzen. Gezellige en schone zaak, van de bekende Ricardo's in Oost. Kom er bijna wekelijks wel even!

Heerlijke broodjes (mijn nieuwe favo Bakkeljauw met ei), gezellige staf! Eigenaresse laat je welkom voelen ook al is het druk, doet gezellig een babbeltje met je en is niet gierig qua porties. Ik begrijp dat dit altijd zo zou moeten zijn, maar ik kom op genoeg plekken waar het het een of het ander is. Hier krijg je een goede service en lekker eten!!!!!

Broodje ei, met zorg voorbereid en dagvers. Ooh zoo lekker. Samen met een lekkere cappuccino. Ga zo door zeg ik dan. Wij komen zeker vaker langs. Een reuze gezellige buurt ook. Van alles te beleven.

Precies wat de buurt nodig heeft, een goede broodjeszaak voor de dagen dat ik thuis werk. Vriendelijk personeel en heerlijke Surinaamse broodjes. Aanrader!

Great place, great food and coffee. The staff is amazing and kind they give you a warm welcome. You can definitely taste how fresh the food is, prices are good! Its like I said a great place Zondag is a true win for Amsterdam!

Mijn favoriete nieuwe tent voor broodje kip of tuna melt op de Javastraat. Daarnaast zijn de eigenaren/werknemers erg vriendelijk, al met al een aanrader.
