The welcome was warm and hospitable, and there was plenty of choice for both adults and children. The pancakes were very tasty, and the children were absolutely delighted with their fries and pancakes. Definitely a nice place for a relaxed family afternoon!

Basic food but very friendly and helpful service

What a lovely place. The acai bowl, pulled beef, and the Chai Latte were all very good. Fast service too! Tip: book in advance. Just a small point regarding the acai bowl.

The food was fine but the freakshake was not at all like described on the website. There was no donut, no candy, only a sort of strawberry milkshake and cream with some strawberries on top. It didnt taste or look good but it did cost €15. The other minus point was the gigantic noise made by offloading the dishes. It was like they were throwing the dishes. Very unpleasant. Other than that, the rest (food, service, cleanliness, decor) was correct, not wow.

The coffee was truly excellent and, as far as I'm concerned, ranks among the best I've had in Amsterdam. The chicken sandwich was also a hit, thanks to the crispy bread and spicy chicken. It was pleasantly busy and the service did its best, although it sometimes took a little longer. Definitely a nice spot for brunch.

Went for a takeaway when there was no one in the cafe and was told to order from the machine outside. Tried to order a soy cap but the computer said no. So we went to a better cafe with a human 😊

I had breakfast here and everything was absolutely perfect. The fried egg was just right and the croissant was so fresh it almost melted in my mouth. Additionally, the coffee was nice and strong and creamy. Compliments on the generous portions and the quick, friendly service!

Corner Bakery is a great place for a sandwich and a cup of coffee. The quality is good, but the prices are on the high side. What I did find a pity, however, is that ordering via a QR code virtually eliminates personal contact. For such a relatively small establishment, that actually feels unnecessary. All in all, a fine experience, but there is certainly room for improvement.

The food and staff are lovely. But I am leaving a bad review because of the awful ordering system. I hate QR code services that force you to give your personal data away to order a breakfast. Use a paper menu or provide an alternative. The QR service forces you to give your phone number to order anything and then you still must pay the bar with a normal credit card anyway. Something in our meal gave both of us upset stomachs. Only the presentation of the food is good, but it did not taste good at all, there was no flavor. Brioche was supposed to be sweet, it was bland and dry. Also they initially charged me more than our total bill, and when I requested them to check, it turned out that they had added the total of the previous customers on the same table to our bill. We got refunded then. I wouldn't have minded the whole incorrect bill part if the food and experience were good. Unpleasant overall.

Very disappointing. I received one whole grape and three-quarters of a strawberry with my French toast, and my girlfriend received three-quarters of the same with her pancakes. The coffee was also mediocre for the price; it seemed like coffee from a vending machine. Service was meh; the barista spilled coffee and walked away. I had to ask him myself if he had a napkin to clean it up with. All in all, definitely not worth repeating.

The location is great and the area is beautiful, but unfortunately the service was disappointing. I arrived at 14:20, while the restaurant’s opening hours indicate that it is open until 16:00. The waiter told me they were closing soon and that he had already started cleaning the tables, so I wasn’t allowed to sit down. I understand that staff need time to prepare for closing, but refusing customers 1 hour and 40 minutes before the official closing time feels unreasonable. If the kitchen closes earlier or seating is unavailable after a certain hour, this should be clearly communicated. Otherwise, customers expect to be served during the posted business hours. And waiters approved that they are closing only at 16:00

We had the Guilty Pleasure Brunch along with the Dutch cheese and wheat bread. It was my first time trying Dutch cheese, and it was absolutely delicious! We also had orange juice and a Coke Zero with our meal. The restaurant has more of a modern corner bakery vibe where you scan a QR code to place your order. The staff was friendly, helpful, and happy to answer our questions. Definitely a great spot to try!

I had a bizarre experience at this place today. In the morning, after the school run, I wanted to have a nice coffee here with a friend, but we were immediately shown the door; we were only welcome for a full breakfast or lunch. One table was occupied, but otherwise the place and the terrace were completely empty, so there was plenty of room. We went for a coffee at the competitor around the corner without any problems, and when we walked past this place on our way home afterwards, it was still empty. The logic behind why you aren't allowed to just have a cup of coffee here completely escapes me; the owner has apparently never heard of hospitality. What arrogance.

Had bruch. Good stuff. Had bruch at other places and I place this at the 2nd best on the list.

We were helped quickly and the food was served fast. We were here on a weekday, so it was very quiet. Great sandwiches.

The pancakes and french toast are unique and delicious. Our son said the bacon is the best he’s ever had. I’m very particular about good cappuccinos, and the corner bakery did not disappoint!

They have gluten-free pancakes and gluten-free bread. The gluten-free pancakes were tasty, with a good amount of strawberries and whipped cream. I will definitely come back to try one of the egg dishes with gluten-free bread.

We were shown the door at 2:30 PM, well after lunchtime, because we only wanted coffee and cake. "You can only have lunch here," a rude older employee told us. "You can have coffee on the other corner." I'd been here before and it was always fine, even for 'just' a cup of coffee with or without something to eat. Never again. There was plenty of room, by the way.

We were absolutely delighted with our visit. The service was very, very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and well taken care of. The staff was always polite, helpful, and smiling, which made the whole experience even better. The food was amazing and tasted absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. You can really tell that a lot of care and passion goes into the cooking. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we truly enjoyed our time there. We would highly recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be coming back again.

One of the best and strong coffees available in Amsterdam! Went on New year’s and luckily didn’t have to wait for a table indoors. The chicken sandwich was delicious with crispy bread and spicy chicken. Cozy indoors but some seating might be too close to other tables. Great place for brunch if you don’t mind the occasional delays in service on weekends. Would go back for the chocolate cake that was missed in the busy times.

I'm mostly a boiled egg person but the scrambled eggs were unlike any I've ever had. I wish I had my own bowl. Plenty of powdered sugar on the pancakes. Fresh croissants. Excellent latte. Cute interior decor. Friendly enough staff.

I've been here three times now. The first two times were great, but the last time? Terrible. Incredibly noisy, and the man, I think the owner?, yells so loudly. He also regularly leaves the front door open even though it's -3 degrees outside?! The food we ordered was prepared very differently than the previous times, not as tasty. We also waited 50 minutes for our drinks to be served... I think it's seen better days.

When we asked to have it packed to-go, since we had to make our Van Gogh museum slot, the kitchen staff with glasses shouted at us. Completely uncalled for. We left without our food or a refund. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially because of the owner, who is truly rude and arrogant. I went into this bar for a coffee and to use the restroom. As soon as I entered, the owner came in shouting in front of everyone, asking me where I was going and that the restroom was for customers only. I replied that I knew I was going for a coffee. But honestly, I find this behavior very rude and not at all polite. He also made fun of me in front of all the customers, simply because I was going to the restroom before ordering. These days, that seems really silly to me, and for that reason alone, I would never, ever spend money in a place owned by someone like that. I still got a coffee, which he charged me four euros. Thank you, very kind of you.

The online menu included a special tab with vegan dishes, but all of them contained eggs and milk as allergens, except for the acai bowl. When we asked the staff, they didn't know what vegan was and kept insisting on the "gluten-free" symbol. We left.

The apple pie was great. The pancakes had the aftertaste of soap detergent. But the restaurant was loud, disorganized, the staff kept banging silverware Soo loudly, and lots of people kept walking around tables and disturbing the dining experience.

It was our first stop for a quick lunch in Amsterdam and we really enjoyed Corner Bakery. Food, Service and atmosphere were on point. It is a small cafe and it is quite tight between the tables. Other than that everything was good 😊

We come here every year to celebrate the start of summer vacation. We love coming here; the food and drinks are always delicious. Unfortunately, this time was very disappointing. Ordering is done through an app that unfortunately didn't work for us; the waiter reluctantly took over. The milkshakes we ordered didn't match the picture in the ordering app at all. The sprinkles, bacon bits, and fruit loops have been replaced by "syrup." It's a real shame, as the kids come especially for the milkshakes. The freak shakes with donuts have unfortunately disappeared from the menu entirely. The food we ordered was delicious, but it took a very long time—40 minutes for a tuna melt and goat cheese salad. The photo is from the ordering app, and the other is from the milkshake we received (after a sip!).

Beautiful establishment, well located not far from Museum Square and halfway to the Albert Cuyp Market. The staff is very warm and attentive. The owner is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We had brunch, having made sure to make an online reservation. The products were fresh, the dishes beautifully presented, and the quality was there. All the meats are halal. Corne Bakery is a place not to be missed if you're visiting Amsterdam!
