We only tried the coffee at Lagom Amsterdam, and it was really good! The biscuit served with the coffee was delicious and a nice touch. The place has a cozy and modern atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Perfect spot to enjoy a quick coffee break while exploring the city ☕️🍪✨.

The best brunch we had in Amsterdam! After booking, we were taken care of and seated extremely quickly by the staff, who are absolutely adorable. Not to mention the food, which is excellent; we highly recommend it.

Absolutely loved brunch at Lagom Amsterdam! The French toast was outstanding — perfectly fluffy inside with a light crisp on the edges and a great balance of sweetness and freshness from the fruit. Hollandaise sauce was also one of the best I’ve ever tried. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, ideal for a slow brunch or catching up with friends. Service was friendly even though the place was quite busy. Overall, great food, good vibes, and definitely worth coming back for!

Great brunch. We waited in line for about an hour before being seated. The wait was quite long, but the staff, understaffed I think, did their best to accommodate us as quickly as possible! We were then seated and served fairly quickly; we knew what we wanted, and it was then prompt. Despite the crowds outside, we didn't feel rushed... I recommend this brunch; the Egg Florentines were excellent, as was the detox juice. My friends also really enjoyed their dishes. Nothing to complain about in terms of quality/price.

Simply amazing. We took the hangover breakfast and it was superb. We stood in the line for almost 1hour and it was worth it 😆.

Their queue management is terrible. We stood outside for an hour, which would be fine in principle, but we can count at least six empty clean tables without reservation signs inside! The restaurant is half empty. They just don’t have enough staff to efficiently manage the customer flow. Then when we sat down, we waited fifteen minutes for our order to be taken. One waitress walked up to our table, smiled, put down cutlery and didn’t even ask what we wanted to order. Another fifteen minutes later and they haven’t even brought water to the table yet.

Moderately surprising, not special, very ordinary

A great alternative after a hotel breakfast. The tomato and avocado croissant is fragrant and not greasy. The fried bitterballen (coloured cola balls) are crispy on the outside, with a soft, chewy mixture of mashed potato and minced meat inside. The apple pie lives up to its reputation, with a moist, sweet and sour apple filling.

I ordered shakshuka and a fresh orange juice. The shakshuka didn’t taste good at all. I wasn’t able to eat it and the orange juice was warm.

I tried the shakshouka and egg croissants with tea. I visited the place after receiving a recommendation and it's worth a visit. Their food is delicious and their service is great. Their prices are reasonable.

Food was really good! Yogurt bowl was fantastic. Not as sweet as in the US, but still delicious.

A very cozy coffee shop that offers quality products! I tried their Blueberry French Toast with a strawberry matcha. It was delicious and fresh 😋

Really good but the service needs improvement. We had reservation so we didn't need to wait. There was a big line outside so I recommend making a reservation especially during the weekend. One of the waitress was really nice to us but the other two seemed to be pissed at the customers. Maybe it's just the dutch way of talking but with them we didn't feel welcomed at all and felt a bit rushed. The food was really good, and big portions! We ordered the blueberry french toast which I think is a must (blueberry jam between breads and ricotta cream on top with lots of fruit, super good). We also got shakshuka which had an amazing flavour, and a cinnamon roll that was just okay (only because the rest of the food was so good this one seemed just an average pastry). The coffee was delicious and we also got juices that were made at the moment. Overall I recommend this place!

Absolutely amazing in every aspect! I am a frequent visitor from America and came across this place randomly when walking down the street. It has become a favorite of mine and my mom's, and we look forward to eating here each time we visit Amsterdam. The servers are so kind, the vibe is so cute, and the food is delicious.

The WORST shakshouka that i have ever tried in the netherlands. Normally I am big fan of this dish but this place made it so bad that i forced myself to finish it. It was all cheap tomato puree and 2 tiny little eggs on top. My friend got the florentine eggs benedict and it also looked so basic and bland. After I got one bite I asked to change the food but they said this is how it is done. Horrible customer service and staff honestly. Imagine paying 15.5 for a dish that is bland and not filling. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Very good Crowded after 9 AM Prices are a little high

Heard about it from TikTok, and so glad we went. It was such a pretty interior, with really friendly staff who all looked hard at work constantly. Food arrived swiftly and was great quality, was cool being able to see it getting made. We got the chicken salad and the burrata salad as well as truffle fries to share. The truffle fries stood out as they were incredible. The salads were also delicious. The only thing I would say is that the smoothies were on the smaller side for how much they cost, but other than that I’d say it’s great value for money!

I had lunch at Lagom Amsterdam today and it was truly delicious. The truffle fries were crispy, full of flavor, and served with a delicious dip. I also had the focaccia with spicy chicken – tender, well-seasoned, and delicious with the fresh toppings. The interior and presentation of the dishes are also top-notch; everything looks well-presented and inviting. Lagom feels like a place where you can both relax and enjoy a truly good meal. In short: definitely recommended for anyone in Amsterdam looking for flavorful and creative dishes. P.S. My Google name is pure coincidence 😂

Very busy place, but we did not have to wait long for a table. The waiter are very friendly. The hangover breakfast was a lot! The sausage was not to my tasting and a little cold, but the rest was yummy. The matcha was amazing!

We had to wait a bit to get a table outside, but that wasn't a problem. The food is delicious, and above all, the service was very friendly and helpful. The place is very popular, but it's still quiet outside and you can have a good conversation. I would love to come back. If you want to sit inside, it's worth making a reservation, even on a Thursday morning/lunchtime.

The shakshouka is delicious. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. I recommend the outdoor seating because the atmosphere is beautiful. The breakfast is delicious and worth trying, but you have to be careful that not all the food is halal.

Hangover breakfast is the best! If you've had a drink and a cigarette the day before, you absolutely have to order it... Real-life Miyazaki breakfast... Remember to smoke before you eat, too!

Good food, but a bit pricey. The Korean Chicken burger tastes good but is quite small for what you pay. The Blueberry French Toast (pictured) is also delicious and offers more value for your money. Friendly staff who don't speak Dutch.

Even though we had to wait about 20 minutes for a seat and the place was very busy, the service was super friendly. The only drawback is the price, which was particularly noticeable with the drinks, given the price-to-size ratio. However, the food tasted very good.

It's really great. It's one of the best breakfast places in Amsterdam, for me number one. It's delicious, especially the French toast and granola. They have a lot of different options to choose from, and their coffee is excellent.

Me and my friend visited Amsterdam for 4 days and had brunch here every single day, it was so good. Tried so many good dishes, and their vegetarian options are fantastic, definitely recommend the Burrata toast. If you want to get a table I do suggest booking through their website as it gets busy.

We had breakfast at Lagom twice during our time in Amsterdam. It was delicious 🤤 But it's highly recommended to make a reservation in advance, so you can skip the queue at the entrance and announce your reservation.

Great spot: the setting is very pretty with lush greenery. The waitresses are great and offered us tap water, of course. We ordered a burger and a portion of fries with truffle mayonnaise. It was very good, and the quantity was truly impressive. There were two of us, and we only ate half of it. All that for 23 euros. The waitresses were also very attentive: we were able to charge our phone and access the Wi-Fi. Thank you!

Great place to stop and enjoy a drink

Honestly, I'm really pissed off right now. Why? I don't want to say, otherwise I'll get canceled. You can probably guess... right? The clientele isn't my thing, the service isn't my thing. I'm sitting here in my Gucci shirt and I'm furious. Never again.

Great brunch spot with amazing food. Cute pride themed special of the day (like a birthday cake French toast). Delicious drip coffee. Normally I’m an espresso girl but I really enjoyed this here. I recommend making a reservation in advance, someone came out to the line and said “does anyone have a reservation already?” so all we did was wait for that, come forward, and get seated.

Over the past few years this place has proven to be a gem in this neighbourhood. Clearly created from high experience in the industry, it offers a charming mix of vibes, beautifully presented and tasty food & drinks. You might have to wait in line outside sometimes, but that’s a good premise for what’s next 👍🏼

A few times a year, I come to Amsterdam specifically for The Blueberry French Toast! Perfection! If you make a reservation, you won't have to wait in line.

A little disappointed, it's more beautiful than tasty. If you're French, definitely skip the French toast; it's super bland. On the other hand, eggs Benedict with salmon; the salmon is truly excellent! A little mixed, the burger is good but nothing special. If you want beautiful photos, go for it, but otherwise, don't go crazy.

Tolle Location. Lockere Atmosphäre mit sehr leckerem Essen und super freundlichen Service. Wir hatten Glück und kamen ohne Wartezeiten rein. Der Laden war sehr gut gefüllt, trotzdem wurden wir herzlich empfangen und wurden flott bedient. Es war alles sehr schmackhaft (Shakshuka, Burger und Pommes sowie die hausgemachte Limonade) Beim nächsten Amsterdam Besuch kommen wir wieder.

The place is tidy and elegant and crowded. It is better to book before you go. The food we ordered was shakshouka, scrambled, and Caesar salad. It was delicious. The only thing I did not like was the Benedict.

We arrived at the café and saw a line already out the door. It took about 35 minutes to get our table, which was fine because we'd been warned. While we were in line, we noticed that some of the employees looked listless. At our table, we had to wait another 20 minutes for our drinks. Since the café wasn't really full and the line was only there because several tables were reserved and couldn't be filled, the wait was really too long. The food (salmon egg Benedict, French toast, and shakshuka) was unspectacular and overrated. The shakshuka was unseasoned, and the French toast didn't really taste like French toast. The café itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special, as advertised on social media. Given the wait, the visit was rather disappointing.

Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We didn't have a reservation and waited about 10 minutes. We ordered the avocado toast and the burrata toast. Unfortunately, we didn't really enjoy the latter, but that's just a personal preference. This was due to the sweet balsamic vinegar on top. They also serve a very strong/acidic espresso. It was nice to have been there once, but we wouldn't go again.

A truly delicious restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. We were quickly shown to a table and barely had to wait, despite the busy crowds. However, due to the large number of guests, it was quite noisy. The breakfast selection is impressively extensive, and it's particularly pleasing that there are vegetarian alternatives to most dishes. The food was served promptly. The service was generally friendly, but after our plates were cleared, we felt like we were about to leave the restaurant soon, as the receipt was brought to us immediately without us asking.

There's a line every day of people trying to get in without a reservation. The menu is extensive, with a wide variety of dishes and plenty of drink options. The staff is friendly and quick to serve and clear tables. The food was truly delicious! The prices aren't exorbitant, but Amsterdam prices are reasonable. The food is truly worth every penny!
