It is definitely recommended to make a reservation before visiting. Fortunately, I had done so. There was a huge line of people outside. The staff are helpful and always have a smile on their faces. The shakshouka was certainly tasty and is served with warm bread. Prices are, of course, on the higher side.

The special French toast is excellent, the atmosphere is lovely, and it's worth trying.

Great place for brunch! Super cute and well-decorated place, great hospitality. It might be a good idea to arrive early because there might be a bit of a line. Otherwise, everything was really tasty.

Amazing brunch in Amsterdam! One of the only places that accepted a reservation for a large group (8 people) in advance (with a deposit). Be sure to book ahead, as places are limited. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is lovely, and we had a fantastic meal. Great selection.

Raspberry French toast was delicious. Strawberry matcha was yummy. Chai latte should have a little bit more flavor depth. Cibilir Turkish eggs were ok, yoghurt wasn’t as flavourful.

It was a great experience. I had the Egg Florentine, and the spinach was cooked perfectly, and the poached egg was great too :)) I personally didn't like the matcha that much, but it was fine with vanilla syrup. I'd love to come back again.

Tried the shakshuka and French toast and everything was delicious! 😍 The shakshuka was especially amazing, and the bread was sooo good. It was a little busy, so I’d recommend making a reservation just in case.

Fantastic breakfast this morning! What beautiful, large, full plates. There is a bit of a short wait time, but that is because everything here is made fresh. The dishes are little gems. Highly recommended 👌

The queue for tables moves faster than expected, the staff is very competent and efficient even on a very busy day. The food is on the higher budget end, but not overpriced because it's definitely worth the price.

The best brunch experience I had in Amsterdam. I had such a wonderful time at Restaurant Lagom. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and there were so many amazing options to choose from. Everything looked so fresh and tasted even better! 😍 The atmosphere was lovely, the service was warm, kind and friendly, special thanks to Olaf and Erick, and the whole experience felt special from beginning to end. If you’re looking for a brunch in Amsterdam with great food, lots of variety and a beautiful atmosphere, I highly recommend Restaurant Lagom. Definitely a place I would come back to! 10/10

The place is very nice with a lovely view and is spacious. The staff are excellent and the food is good. The only slight downside is that it's quite noisy.

Good breakfast restaurant with several interesting options and really good coffee. It was busy, but we were well served.. honestly I think the food was maybe more ordinary than some reviewers make it out to be, but definitely still worth a visit. The location is good, and the option to eat out is there..

Lagom was truly a really cool place to go to have a brunch. We looked up many places which have potential brunch spots, but this one stood out to us especially. We arrived there around 11am and waited about 20 minutes before being seated. Yes it is quite known and popular, the main reason for the wait but the food is amazing. Personally ive had the salmon sandwich and it was so good. The flavors mixed in so well with each other and the sandwich was definitely not dry. Would recommend coming here if you want a cute spot for brunch and cute insta pictures

We were lucky because we were staying right next door so it was the perfect choice for our breakfast before we started our walks. We didn't have to look for anything else because we had already found the perfect one on our doorstep.

Nice brunch spot, which is very popular judging by the lines outside. The advantage is that there is an extensive menu. I liked the coffee and the food too, although I wouldn't queue for it because it wasn't particularly special.

Came by for a breakie & even tho there was a waiting line, they gave me a table in less than 5min! Nina was so patience and kind, she gave me a couple recommendations and I’m so glad I follow! I loved the Croque Madame she advised me to get, and my tiny date loved her pancakes too! It’s a great plus that the chicken & beef are halal, so coming back for sure to try the other dishes she recommended 🥰

Lagom had been on my list to visit for quite some time. And one word: AMAZING. Super tasty food and plenty of choice (halal). Everything looked just as good as it tasted. My sister and I went for the pulled chicken sandwich and a French toast. Truly 10/10, and the strawberry mojito was also so good, not too sweet. Well-seasoned. Everything was affordable and a real treat for our taste buds 😍. See you again soon.

We are from Frankfurt and were visiting Amsterdam. We came across this restaurant while making our way through the city. We decided to go in and had a really great experience. We were served by a nice young woman named Femke. The food was incredibly good—I would highly recommend it 😍🤲🏻🌇

Nice food but had the Korean sandwich and honestly nothing I haven't had better elsewhere. That being said I would definitely go again to see what else is on the menu, as it was very pleasant. Loved the drink options - especially the boozy ice coffee.

We had such a great brunch at Lagom Amsterdam! Everything we ordered was delicious. The salmon eggs Benedict was perfectly cooked, the cinnamon roll pancakes were fluffy and indulgent, the hangover breakfast was packed with flavour, and the beef burger was juicy and satisfying. We also loved the drinks, especially the mango matcha latte, plus the Irish coffee and boozy cappuccino were a fun treat. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the presentation of every dish was beautiful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. If you’re looking for an all-day brunch spot in Amsterdam, Lagom is definitely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back! 🌿🥞☕

It was a real shock. The food was inedible, nothing was fresh, and it wasn't a good choice to start my day at this restaurant. The cups smelled awful. Disappointing.

Interior is cute and green, they offer wide range of dishes and drinks, prices are affordable, unfortunately my order was partly forgotten (there were just 2 of us at the table and the waitress repeated the order before leaving us) so I had to wait for like an hour until I figured that out and finally got my food.

We came on a Saturday Morning in July with no Reservation. As we were only 2 people, we got seated within about 15 Minutes. Very attentive and friendly Staff (special shoutout to our Waitress), going out of their way for our wishes. The girl seating people was efficient and on it. We are vegetarian/vegan which the Waitress understood immediately and accommodated accordingly. Food was delicious and worth it!

Great selection of both veggie, vegan and meat dishes so there is something for everyone.

I thought it was a beautiful place! Pleasant atmosphere and amazing service! The pancakes were delicious, as were the burger and the shakshuka. I would definitely return. It's definitely worth coming to try.

We had seen this place on TikTok and Instagram and decided to check it out. The food was good, and decently priced. Food also arrived quickly. Definitely make a reservation as there is a BIG line! However… after 30 minutes they started asking to clear our plates, even though we were clearly not finished with the food and drinks, and came back several times afterwards during a short period of time. They also tried to take our cups which still had coffee in it, and plates with food on. They started taking the dishes without asking and took the plate for the coffee while we took a sip of the coffee cup and took the napkin while taking a bite of the food (what is going on??)🤔 They circled us like sharks after we had been there for 35 minutes and we not could push any longer, and left after 1 hour of being rushed. TLDR: good food, if you eat quickly and have places to be.

This place fully deserves its success! The servers are very friendly and efficient, and the drinks and food are absolutely delicious! Go without hesitation!

The reservation process went smoothly. Breakfast and drinks were delicious. They left the windows/glass doors open during the day, so even indoors you felt like you were sitting outside. The only downside: given the size of the room and the number of guests, there are only two toilets, one for men and one for women. So be sure to go to the restroom in good time, or at least be prepared to queue :)

We recently had breakfast at this cafe. It's generally a good place to go, and the food selection is extensive. Unfortunately, we didn't feel particularly welcome, and our server was rather rude. After an hour, they were a bit too pushy about asking us to pay. The food arrived quickly, and while it wasn't anything special, it wasn't bad either.

My dish was very good, the waitress was super friendly, I recommend it. However, make a reservation or avoid peak hours because the queue forms very quickly and the place is often full.

This restaurant has really amazing quality food for affordable prices. The people that work there are also really friendly, plus you don't have to reserve anything if you're willing to wait.

They leave you waiting in line for an hour even though all the tables are free. You finally sit down and they tell you you have to wait in line. Then a very rude waitress with red hair and glasses looks you up and down and speaks rudely to you. Terrible organization and rude waiters.

What a great restaurant! Been here several times and really impressed by quality of food and atmosphere. Would recommend the Hangover Breakfast and the coffee is great too. What really stands out though is the service… everyone is really jolly and helpful. We had Roda serving and she was brilliant. We’ll be going back tomorrow for our third breakfast there. Top tip is you need to book as it’s so good there are often queues to get in.

Lagom absolutely saved our morning! We were looking for a place to have a decent breakfast before heading to the airport, but after walking for about 45 minutes, every single cafe and restaurant we passed was completely closed. We were so relieved when we finally came across Lagom. The most important part for us was that they were open early at 8:00 AM! On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was very good, and the coffee was excellent—exactly what we needed before a flight. If you need an early, high-quality breakfast in Amsterdam, this is the place to go!

Had a really delicious meal in a cozy atmosphere. Moreover, they are very generous with the smoked salmon on the bun, whereas many restaurants often serve only a measly piece of it. The iced matcha was also very tasty; the ratio was just right. 👌🏽

We had a reservation for two for breakfast this Sunday. I would recommend booking ahead, as there id usually quite a queue. We ordered two coffees and our main dishes: Scrambled eggs on toast with avocado, and Eggs Benedict with salmon and avocado. The eggs were cooked perfectly; the yolks ran when broken, which is essential. In my opinion, the flavours were flat—nothing special. Adding salt and pepper is recommended.

Everything went perfectly, incredibly delicious and a nice atmosphere, we were helped immediately and everyone was incredibly friendly.

Lovely place, would definitely recommend! Made a booking in advanced, and were seated quickly. Decor is very pretty and food is amazing. Servers very friendly and happy to deal with the few changes we wanted to make to some of our meals, very welcoming.
