Food was fine. The toilet and the rest of the restaurant were really, really dirty. Clearly just a question of never cleaning. Just hope the kitchen behind the scenes looks better... thought it looked lax.

Had a wonderful lunch time here and got the last table which was also in the window so we could watch the world go by. The staff were all lovely and attentive and the contemporary take on a club sandwich arrived quickly, even though they were full, and was really tasty. Really liked that, even though it was happening every few minutes, the staff were always kind and helpful in explaining that the cafe was full and there were no tables free to those hopeful newcomers. Will come back next time we're in Amsterdam.

Super nice location with cozy Christmas decorations. Food was ok, but having to carry your drink up the tiny and clumsy stairs to your tiny table was a shame. The toilet left a lot to be desired. Everything was sticky and just dirty. Shame! Staff was friendly but that was all.

We had to wait over an hour for our food, only to be served cold and soggy fries and cold pancakes. The kitchen wasn’t busy, as most of the other guests were just having a coffee and a piece of cake. Very disappointing experience.

Warm welcome, beautiful setting, drinks accompanied by small biscuits, sugar and honey for tea. Very good cakes! Fast service! I highly recommend!

Highly recommend not going to this place. When we arrived, there were still dishes from other people on other tables. It smelled bad and looked unprofessional. Generally this place did not feel inviting. We decided to leave by ourselves after we waited for too long to give away our orders. When we left we heard the waiter say to a guest: "The owner of this place in an influencer who wants to have everything nice and Instagrammable..." Seriously, what does "Instagrammable" help if the place is nasty and the service bad? Even other guests felt uncomfortable and waited for too long. If the service is not interested in your well being then not even Instagram can help with that.

OK coffee to go. But strange choice by some of the staff to loudly make fun of a customer in english while they were still within earshot.

came this afternoon accompanied by my daughter to drink a coffee and eat a piece of cake. On the quality of the products consumed I did not notice, it was of good quality, but I was very disappointed by the toilets, dirty: but the most shocking is that the door of the ladies' toilets is broken, the sink is dirty and the water evacuation was very slow, so many women had to go to the men's toilets where there was no more soap, and the light in the toilets went out regularly. Once at the checkout we were billed for a drink not taken after the saleswoman asked us twice what we had consumed, and to conclude all this: she confirmed to us very sure of herself that 1 of the drinks taken was at the same price as the one we had consumed (much cheaper), so we checked the price on the menu and we were right In short, I find it unacceptable that having come to relax and refresh ourselves we had to experience so many disappointments in a cafe that a priori seemed attractive. Doing business is not only about raking in money, it is also about being commercial in the soul, that is to say offering customers the minimum comfort: functional toilets and when you make a mistake on the bill apologize. In short, I will not come back to your establishment and will not give it good publicity. PS: if other customers are complacent about the running of your establishment, I'm not sure they appreciated finding themselves stuck in the toilets and having to clear the tables themselves.

Very slow service, it takes 20 mins before my beer comes. Cake was dry and prices high.

This place is cozy and has a nice decor, the delicious looking home baked treats in the window was what got our attention and loured us in. We were told to grab a table anywhere so we went upstairs. Nobody came up for our order for a while, so I went back down to ask if we order at the counter and they, unapologetically, said that someone will take our order at the table. Soon after, a server came up and took the order of a table that came in after us, grrr. When we ordered and asked simple questions about menu items the responses were huffy. Despite this, the food was delicious! We each had avocado toast with a poached egg and two americano coffees. I asked for a glass of water and the server brought one only and we had to ask for another for my husband. With nobody returning to us for quite some time, we had to go back down to ask if we pay at the table or counter. When we paid at the counter there was no “hope you enjoyed it or how was everything”, she asked us where were we sitting to determine our bill. No service decorum in this place.

Average cafe, coffee not great (which was surprising as the staff were all Australian) and poached eggs overcooked. Also no half serves available for children. Staff meh as well.

The food was okay, the lemonade was a sooo bad, how can you mess up lemonade? The place is busy so the service wasn't good, they messed up or orders and when some of or table of 6 was starting eating some already finished, or friend got his sandwich 40min after we were done. A shame.

The place is beautifully decorated. The staff was polite. We ordered pancakes which were not tasty at all, although they were quite expensive. In addition, I recommend that the staff is more careful with hygiene while preparing the food (the girl licked her fingers while preparing our dish).

I walked past this evening. I immediately recognized a mouse in the window. She ran freely through the entire restaurant.

8 times in Amsterdam and trying lots of restaurants and I have never had such an awful service as I did this last week (Tuesday 6th august) at Ree7 One of the ladies from the staff extremely arrogant and on top of that texting and texting on her phone in front of me while waiting for the menu! When I did called her she was rude and still left me waiting to just give me the menu! Horrible place

The "iced matcha with blue cold foam" with oat milk was the best matcha I have ever tasted. The pancakes, lightly flavored with cinnamon and topped with fresh fruit, were excellent. The full breakfast was also very satisfying, with soft bread with a crispy crust and delicious granola. Despite some negative reviews, our experience was positive. I highly recommend this place :)

I'm passing through Amsterdam and it had been recommended to me, the waitress was super loving, I ate a super large and exquisite apple pie, my mouth watered as well as the cappuccino that was also delicious but too small for my taste and it had more foam than coffee. However, inside it is very nice and cozy atmosphere, I sat outside on the terrace, I loved it. In conclusion it was super good price quality and service.

This is my 2nd and last time to try the address. 2 times that they refuse me at 4.35-40pm ,they supposed to close at 5pm) for a take away order which a slice of cake that are full still available in the window. The concept is good but the employees not at all.

Waited a long time to just get a menu. 2 girls who worked there seemed annoyed in general and didn't make eye contact. Banging down dishes etc with attitude. Food, when it came was generally OK but attitude of staff unfortunate.

We came for the smoothies, the ones that are shown online. which are not on the menu anymore. The health drinks that are on the menu are not freashly made on the spot.

For a place that’s pretty pricey the service was rude and dismissive. Also, told me my debit and credit cards were all invalid, but the cards worked perfectly two shops down. From other reviews, appears this is a common issue. Definitely go elsewhere And it wasn’t just Amex, two Mastercards and a debit. Oddly no issues with transactions elsewhere. Tourists avoid!

I am very disappointed and I will not be coming back! I ordered a matcha latte. I could barely taste the matcha and the colour was so light you could clearly see they hardly put any powder in there! It's crazy that they ask you to pay over 5eur and you don't even get a good tasting matcha latte.

Avoid: poor quality address. This address is one of the worst brunches I have had. We ordered : - an avocado toast (14.5th): tasteless bread, too thick which made it difficult to cut and not toasted, with avocado mixed with mayonnaise, which was disgusting, the tomatoes were not good good quality and poached eggs overcooked and with leftover shells in them. - a club sandwich (16th): poor quality and dry sandwich bread, mayonnaise in avocado once again, tasteless cabbage and dry and overcooked breaded chicken. The fries that came with it were thawed. - a matcha latte (5.75e) no matcha taste, only oats.. + we had to pay an extra 0.55 euros for the iced version, so for ice cubes?? - a strawberry matcha latte (6.95e): tasteless, no taste of matcha. Summary: We did not finish our plates, we were disgusted by the fat and the lack of flavor and all this for an excessively high price. In addition, the waitresses were not very pleasant. The decoration, nothing special to say, it was classic for a brunch that wants to be “trendy”. Really, you will find better elsewhere…..

I went by myself to Ree 7 at 10:30 this morning and managed to get a seat inside. The place itself is nice, but the experience was the worst I could have imagined. I waited seated for around 10 minutes until the waiter finally noticed me and asked if I wanted to see the menu (I wonder what she thought I was doing sitting there, haha). I said yes, and she came back with it. Then, after another 10 minutes of waiting, she took my order, which was an americano, an avocado toast with egg, and a protein bowl. The waiter came back to confirm my order after around 15 minutes, mentioning they had a system problem and wanted to check if it was ready. Finally, at 11:23, almost an hour later, my avocado "toast" arrived cold and without any cutlery. The girl at the next table immediately said "oh no!" and laughed because the whole situation was bizarre, they really have a talent for doing things badly. Then my protein shake arrived, and it was fine. Despite the service being a complete mess and the place being crowded, they were still letting in more customers. They were telling customers who were trying to pay that their credit card system wasn’t working, but they hadn’t mentioned it to any of the customers they were letting in. When I went to pay, they weren’t accepting credit cards, and the lady said they could only accept bank transfers as they didn't have enough cash to give change to people (just a few notes and coins, and you could only pay if you had the exact amount). I was staying in the neighboring building, so I asked if I could come back in an hour to try again with the credit card, but the lady said that if she started letting everyone leave, it would be chaotic (as if it wasn’t chaotic already). She also claimed that the whole city was without internet, which I later found out was not true. Luckily, my boyfriend has a European bank account, so I sent him a message to pay for me, and he did. At 12:10pm, after what should have been a 40-minute coffee outing ended up taking me almost 2 hours, I could finally escape from this place and never come back.

Amazing atmosphere, really welcoming staff, the best black coffee in Amsterdam, and I was in love with the orange cake 🎂 Hey Gulf people and Saudis in particular, I advise you to use black coffee, its truth is similar to our coffees 👌🇸🇦✨

Our visit to the cafe was very mixed. Two of the dishes were good. The third one unfortunately not at all. The pancakes were still raw inside. We then told the staff and asked for new ones. Unfortunately, we were completely ignored by the staff afterwards. We didn't receive the new pancakes either. Instead they charged for 2 portions!! We only noticed this when we received the receipt after paying! When we went back to the cafe, they said they couldn't book the money back to us straight away or pay it out in cash. The waiter wanted to forward this to the finance department. Unfortunately, after a week I still haven't received the money. I suspect that won't happen again. I can't recommend the cafe at all. Because of this, I wouldn't visit it again.

After the enthusiasm of the photos, it was unfortunately disappointing in reality. The first time the staff was chill and the coffee was reasonable, but small sizes and big prices! Fortunately there was a nice vibe. But when we went for lunch for the second time it was a real flop. My girlfriend's poached egg was just sour... the fries were also cold and we had to eat them while it smelled like sewer... which didn't improve the experience or appetite either. In addition, we felt that we were helped reluctantly... Improvement is certainly possible in terms of price-quality ratio. Compliments for the interior and how they laid it out, it looked really cool!

Loved this cozy little restaurant. Great food, right around the corner from our hotel, and much faster service than expected (based on what we read in other reviews). Of course we visited in the off-season, so that might make a difference. We actually had breakfast here two mornings instead of our much pricier hotel breakfast.

REE 7 used to be so perfect. Something has changed since May 2023, when I was there last time. Food is less fancy and the passion for detail and decoration is gone - both, store and food wise. However, it is still very nice, and a nice place for a break in the city. The new staff is super friendly and kind.

It’s a beautiful cozy place but both the service and coffees were not what you’d expect. The flat white (coffee) was more of a cup of boiling hot milk carefully disguised as coffee by the latte art. The macha latte felt like taking a nosedive on a fresh mowed lawn. And it got served with a cup of disinterest in serviceable attitude. So much potential but I’m sure they can do better.

Below average food. Club sandwich was slightly charred bread on one side and not toasted at all on the other, inside a deepfried chicken schnitzel cut in half and one (literally one) cherry tomato cut in half and coleslaw. Not a club sandwich, low quality ingridients and poorly executed. Service was slow as it was just one person serving and making coffees for the whole place.

the place was cute, it was small though. i sadly found a chewing gum in my paper towel. it was quite disgusting. the servers were friendly though. the food was not that good. we paid a lot for it to just be bland.

Der Laden ist sehr ästhetisch und bequem eingerichtet. Es werden die unterschiedlichsten Sachen zum Trinken und Essen angeboten. Das Essen war lecker, jedoch mild und „eher weniger“ gewürzt. Die Preise sind schon eher teurer.

Acai bowl was so small and very watery €12 is a lot for something like this. Chai was watery too. Chai to go is better at Pluk instead of here. They need more staff in order to give good service. We waited way too long.

Lovely Christmassy atmosphere here, staff were nice and the place was welcoming. We got a lovely apple pie. Only giving it 4 stars as the coffee was very Milky. Still would recommend.

I loved this place for a brunch. Staff is nice and portions are quite good ( an extra plus in Amsterdam) . Apart from the extremly exagerated small glass of Orange Juice that is not even filmeditie to the top for 4euros you will have a nice breakfast for average Amsterdam price . Definitely recommend it.

The food looks really delicious and the atmosphere is nice, but our order was disappointing. The cake was dry and so was my sandwich. I paid 15.5 euro for a dry piece of bread with two croquettes on it that didn't taste of anything. The Mayo was nice though. Also, the lemonade is not really lemonade but water with sirup in it. I actually went up because I thought I had the wrong order. The card said lemonade with lemom and mint, but there was no mint in it. The waiter was sweet and put extra sirup in it for free, but still, I paid 6 euro for a glas of water with sirup. Maybe we were just unlucky with the food, but the lemonade was not okay.

Les plats, bien que simples, sont délicieux, avec un rapport qualité-prix tout juste correct.

Amazing experience at Ree7 cafe. The breakfast options were outstanding especially French Toast and the in-house iced tea - the flavors were so refreshing and vibrant, and it was the perfect accompaniment to my breakfast and the matcha cake was simply divine. If you find yourself in Amsterdam, do visit Ree 7 Cafe. Highly recommended!

Op het oog een leuk zaakje. Mijn dochter en ik gingen buiten eten en werden vriendelijk geholpen. Mijn dochter nam de pannenkoek met fruit en chocoladesaus. De aardbei die er op zat was beschimmeld en de pannenkoek was gortdroog. Ze had honger en at het op, met flinke tegenzin. Onze buurvrouw had haar pannenkoek ook maar half op. Toeval? Mijn pokébowl smaakte prima. De wc is boven en was vlakbij een tafeltje. Hier zou ik zelf nooit gaan zitten. Al en met al is het allemaal veel te duur. De kwaliteit is mwah. We gaan hier niet meer heen.

De koffie en zoetigheid is allemaal best oke, alleen betaal je voornamelijk voor het uiterlijk en de naam. De prijzen zijn namelijk niet mals.

Sadly, this only "looked" like somewhere that catered for diets, like gluten-free, but sadly, their granola was not gluten-free - leaving just fruit and yoghurt! Staff seemed busier tidying the display than serving customers. So sad. Walked a long way to visit!!

Das Essen fand ich gut nur die Wartezeit war extrem lange und leider hatten die meine Bestellung vergessen sodass ich noch länger warten musste. Die Getränke fand ich persönlich nicht gut da sie nach ganz normalen Wasser mit ganz leichtem Minzgeschmack geschmeckt haben.
