We had a very nice experience here at Ree 7, great atmosphere and very friendly service. We had a chai latte and it was very creamy and delicious... Unfortunately we lost a bit of rating because the toilets weren't working, it can happen but it's a real shame. This MUST be fixed immediately!!!

The food was absolutely delicious. Both the sweet and savory options were truly outstanding. My personal favorite: the Caesar wrap. The portions are also enormous, so it's definitely worth the price, especially by Amsterdam standards. There's plenty of room inside, but it's cozy and a bit noisy, so keep that in mind if you prefer a more intimate setting.

I saw so many nice things about this place. I arrived with one friend, and there was plenty of room. We were immediately turned away at the entrance and couldn't even get in. I finally went in to ask for a table. After ordering, we received our matcha in paper to-go cups. I asked if she could change them to regular glasses, and she practically threw the drink into the other cup. And it wasn't even tasty. It's ridiculous for what we paid and what we got back (absolutely nothing).

The French toast with chocolate sauce was plenty and delicious!

Far too expensive coffee. We ordered after 15 minutes and then waited 20 minutes for tea and a simple coffee. The pumpkin spice latte was way too sweet. Just because it was on Tic Tac doesn't mean it's good. Quite the opposite, in fact.

We waited a very long time for a coffee that was way too expensive. Then we had to go to the men's restroom, where there was neither soap nor towels.

Got the Caesar Salad wrap and it was the best I’ve ever had! And the passion fruit tea was so delicious and refreshing.

Nice atmosphere and good food. Good flavours and service but the prices are expensive for the portion sizes. We tried the açai and Caesar wrap.

We stumbled upon this place while walking around Amsterdam! A small but trendy café with a delicious lunch menu; they also serve a variety of sweet treats. The café was nicely decorated, and there was plenty of space to sit comfortably. We had a strawberry matcha, an iced latte with pink foam, and a cinnamon roll with cream cheese. We really enjoyed it! The ladies at the café were friendly and helpful! ☕️

We ordered French toast and vegetarian burrata with 2 strawberry matcha sauces, and it was delicious! The service was also excellent.

It was actually a great coffee shop. Until we had to pay. They booked the wrong table, so we overpaid. They couldn't give us a cash refund, so they promised to transfer the money. Unfortunately, a week later, still nothing in our account! We tried calling, but they didn't answer. It's a shame.

After visiting the adjacent MAAP store, we decided to grab a bite to eat and a coffee. We'd jokingly mentioned a week earlier that açai wasn't available in our region. But here, it was on the menu! And it didn't disappoint: a generously filled bowl, a good cappuccino, and friendly staff completed our visit. Worth 5 stars for us.

As previously mentioned, I must have one of the sweetest teeth known 🍭 🍬 This beautiful, chill cafe has the most gorgeous window displays and was instantly drawn to it. I knew I had to get the cupcake I saw in the window (not that dog)🐕😅 I saw the cutest Easter themed cake and thought why not go all in 🤭 (after just having shared fries and bought a box of cookies 🍪😅) I got: 🥤Freakshake Candyman (vanilla milkshake, doughnut, cotton candy and sweet toppings) 🧁 Sweetie Cupcake (from Easter Display) @ree7amsterdam

The place itself is very nice, in a great location, and welcoming. The food wasn't bad at all, but it was extremely expensive for the quality. The girl who served us was generally nice, except for the fact that we asked to split the bill. Overall, not bad, but there are definitely better options for a lower price.

Cute, little place in the middle of the centre. Cosy atmosphere on the inside, looked a bit crouded on the inside, but still nice to be. I sat on the terrasse, lovely to see people passing by while I was waiting for my freshly made ice tea and acai bowl. Very friendly waitress, the place has got an eye for detail with their matching straws and napkins ☺️.

Well-maintained, Instagram-vibe, trendy dishes. Thoughtful consideration went into (marketing) details like patterned straws, logo-printed napkins, and so on. Friendly table service, too.

Cozy location in the heart of the Nine Streets. Great atmosphere. You can sit inside or outside. Delicious cappuccino salad and a tasty club sandwich. They also make special smoothies. Unfortunately, the ladies' restroom was broken and the other restroom wasn't very clean.

Very relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. I ordered the hamburger with caramelized onions, egg and bacon and I truly recomend it. I also tried the chicken sallad which also tasted very well. To all who visit Amsterdam, you won’t regret trying this wonderful café.

If you go for the tongue shakes with donuts in the photos online, you can skip it because once we were there, they told us they hadn't had them for a year. It's just a normal, very expensive coffee shop, and the coffee wasn't that great. It was also raining and windy, and the girls next door had closed a window because it was drafty. As soon as they left, the waitress opened the window again. When we asked her to please leave it closed because it was cold (we were with a 2-year-old girl, and she was freezing), she told us to hold it, she had to air it out. Well, the door was already open, and the rest of the windows were open. It's just one window because it's cold...she wasn't very friendly. We don't recommend it.

Walked in after seeing some good reviews about this place from tik tok, there was 2 girls one wearing a pink company top the other lady dressed like she was customer. However she was nice, wasn’t busy so please bare that in mind. I was given a menu. Ordered club sandwich and coke, coke come quick, I could hear the workers (the two girls I mentioned) talking a bit and one going on a break, I was quite busy on my phone so I didn’t mind waiting but after half an hour I could see one of the two workers talking with someone, so I said excuse me please do you know how long my food will be. Which is the lady I ordered from, the other worker (butted in and said abruptly I will go and check, I had to say I’m not being rude but I’ve wait well over half an hour even longer. The other (who took my order ) lady agreeed with me and said they probably forgot. Do you want me to get them to cook it now? It could take 15/ mins 🤦‍♀️ of course not I waited half an hour for a club sandwich that I never got. Plus the other girl was rude needs to learn how to deal with customers. Her tone was off anyway but I’m guessing because her personal life isn’t great. Just from her conversation I could hear.. the bakery stuff at the food of the shop isn’t covered so obviously flies was ok them, the yogurt made at the front with fruit looks grim. So def a blessing. I didn’t eat from that. Approach with caution.

Okay... we expected a bit more compared to other cafes/restaurants nearby, but still not bad. The service was friendly.

The place itself is really cute and cosy, we loved it. The food we had was absolutely amazing, so tasty and well presented. I also tried the pink matcha latte and was genuinely impressed. The matcha was really smooth, no powdery bits at all, just perfectly mixed. We also ordered an apple juice, expecting something freshly squeezed, but it came from a bottle and was just poured into a glass, which was a bit disappointing to be honest. The only downside was the service, which was quite slow. We ended up waiting a fair bit and I noticed there was only one waitress working the whole café, so they probably had a staff shortage. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but then again, most places in Amsterdam are, so I can’t really complain. Overall, a lovely spot with great food and drinks, just don’t go if you’re in a rush.

They were soooooo slow. I ordered granola and it was almost only youghurt. And it is 12 ,5 euros god sakes. I could have easily picked a yoghurt from market. And the girls waitresses chatted all the time near me which was annoying.

Mediocre! A lukewarm cappuccino with a delicious club sandwich and cold fries for €16, which had been waiting at the counter for 10 minutes because my table companion's French toast still needed to be finished... Next to the table were four women in a meeting, including, I think, the "boss." They were making loud phone calls (on the speaker) and having meetings. Very disruptive and a shame.

This little place is very cosy! I think that it was one of the best matcha that I have ever drank, the orange juice is delicious and the Yogurt Bowl is so fresh! You have a delicious yogurt with homemade granola and a large amount of fruits like strawberries, banana, blueberries, kiwi and raspberries! 🥝

That was by far the best breakfast I’ve had, tried the avocado croissant, absolutely amazing highly recommend. It is quite pricy though but it was also good friendly so I’m not one to complain

We had an iced coffee and lemonade and both of them were really good. Kind and friendly people work here.

Our brunch was delicious. The oat-matcha has very good quality. I recommend it if you are in town and wanted to have a delicious brunch with fresh and high quality food.

My friends and I visited the restaurant and were initially pleasantly surprised by the attractively designed setting. The food tasted okay, but we had to wait about 25-30 minutes for it – and when it was finally served, it was unfortunately already cold. The banana bread we ordered was also very dry and therefore disappointing. The matcha tasted good, but it was unexpectedly served warm, which also wasn't entirely convincing. Overall, the ambiance was promising, but the quality of the food fell well short of our expectations. It's a shame.

At first glance it seems like a nice place, but it turns out to be a big disappointment! The toilet was too dirty for words; a first indication that this place is not under control. Long wait for your order, food cold, very overpriced (€9 for a mixed juice? okay, but not in a bottle from the supermarket!), lax service etc. etc. In short, incompetent in every way, I will not come back here!

Such a shame that this nice breakfast place is in such decline, it was once tasty and well-cared for, now a mess (the toilet is too dirty for words) and really overpriced! There are so many other top places in Amsterdam, a real tourist place, that will never come back, which is such a shame!

Food came quickly, made deliciously. Such a cozy atmosphere. Trick is to come early cause this was absolutely my best dining experience during my visit here in Amsterdam!

The ambience is great and invites you to stay longer. Unfortunately, the food and service are not up to par. Besides the lady at the counter there was only one helper who felt like she was on her first day. Everyone starts at some point, but then management has to help accordingly. Unfortunately, the fruit was cut on the same board as the bread, which poses a risk for people with celiac disease (I also made this known in advance). Unfortunately no recommendation

Positive points: the drinks are excellent (matcha, cappuccino...), by far the best matcha I drank in Amsterdam. We enjoyed the toast! The place is cozy and very well decorated, in a lively neighborhood. Negative points: too little space in the establishment, we are constantly disturbed by servers and customers who brush against the tables. The reception is cold and the toilets are not cleaned enough.

First the place is very dirty, utensils are smelly and unclean. Food was salty and bread was stale

We visited this place twice in a day and regret having breakfasts in our hotel, otherwise this would be the place to go for us every day. Food delicios, fresh, people very nice and the athmosphere as well.

Ceaser salad was 90% lettuce for €16,-, chicken was the worst quality and there was no ansjovis (even tho is says on the menu they serve it with).Coffee was not good, service was ok, the guy working was nice but food didn’t came at the same time. Definitely do NOT recommend, spend your money elsewhere.

Worst experience ever! The service came back to us twice because our order could not be made. Even the fries were gone! We then had to wait an hour and fifteen minutes for food that just wasn't tasty. The arrogance of the staff when they dared to say something about our experience was the final straw. (Also not to mention the dirty toilets!) We will NEVER go here again.

Avocado was made of stone and fries served cold. Tourist trap, not worth it.

Food was fine. The toilet and the rest of the restaurant were really, really dirty. Clearly just a question of never cleaning. Just hope the kitchen behind the scenes looks better... thought it looked lax.

Had a wonderful lunch time here and got the last table which was also in the window so we could watch the world go by. The staff were all lovely and attentive and the contemporary take on a club sandwich arrived quickly, even though they were full, and was really tasty. Really liked that, even though it was happening every few minutes, the staff were always kind and helpful in explaining that the cafe was full and there were no tables free to those hopeful newcomers. Will come back next time we're in Amsterdam.

We had to wait over an hour for our food, only to be served cold and soggy fries and cold pancakes. The kitchen wasn’t busy, as most of the other guests were just having a coffee and a piece of cake. Very disappointing experience.

Highly recommend not going to this place. When we arrived, there were still dishes from other people on other tables. It smelled bad and looked unprofessional. Generally this place did not feel inviting. We decided to leave by ourselves after we waited for too long to give away our orders. When we left we heard the waiter say to a guest: "The owner of this place in an influencer who wants to have everything nice and Instagrammable..." Seriously, what does "Instagrammable" help if the place is nasty and the service bad? Even other guests felt uncomfortable and waited for too long. If the service is not interested in your well being then not even Instagram can help with that.

came this afternoon accompanied by my daughter to drink a coffee and eat a piece of cake. On the quality of the products consumed I did not notice, it was of good quality, but I was very disappointed by the toilets, dirty: but the most shocking is that the door of the ladies' toilets is broken, the sink is dirty and the water evacuation was very slow, so many women had to go to the men's toilets where there was no more soap, and the light in the toilets went out regularly. Once at the checkout we were billed for a drink not taken after the saleswoman asked us twice what we had consumed, and to conclude all this: she confirmed to us very sure of herself that 1 of the drinks taken was at the same price as the one we had consumed (much cheaper), so we checked the price on the menu and we were right In short, I find it unacceptable that having come to relax and refresh ourselves we had to experience so many disappointments in a cafe that a priori seemed attractive. Doing business is not only about raking in money, it is also about being commercial in the soul, that is to say offering customers the minimum comfort: functional toilets and when you make a mistake on the bill apologize. In short, I will not come back to your establishment and will not give it good publicity. PS: if other customers are complacent about the running of your establishment, I'm not sure they appreciated finding themselves stuck in the toilets and having to clear the tables themselves.

This place is cozy and has a nice decor, the delicious looking home baked treats in the window was what got our attention and loured us in. We were told to grab a table anywhere so we went upstairs. Nobody came up for our order for a while, so I went back down to ask if we order at the counter and they, unapologetically, said that someone will take our order at the table. Soon after, a server came up and took the order of a table that came in after us, grrr. When we ordered and asked simple questions about menu items the responses were huffy. Despite this, the food was delicious! We each had avocado toast with a poached egg and two americano coffees. I asked for a glass of water and the server brought one only and we had to ask for another for my husband. With nobody returning to us for quite some time, we had to go back down to ask if we pay at the table or counter. When we paid at the counter there was no “hope you enjoyed it or how was everything”, she asked us where were we sitting to determine our bill. No service decorum in this place.

Average cafe, coffee not great (which was surprising as the staff were all Australian) and poached eggs overcooked. Also no half serves available for children. Staff meh as well.

The food was okay, the lemonade was a sooo bad, how can you mess up lemonade? The place is busy so the service wasn't good, they messed up or orders and when some of or table of 6 was starting eating some already finished, or friend got his sandwich 40min after we were done. A shame.
