Such a cute little cafe, we were able to sit down right away & the waitresses were great/super friendly! We ordered a breakfast burrito, chicken Caesar salad wrap, espresso, & I believe the Lutus chai latte or maybe apple pie chai latte (either way super yummy & not TOO sweet). The Caesar Wrap was probably the best one I have ever had, we actually were craving it in the evening but they are closed after lunch so we got it to-go on our way out of town! Definitely recommend for breakfast or a quick bite. The caffe is super cute and would even be a good spot to maybe do some work.

I actually never write a bad review, but I really want to warn people about this place. We had the chicken Caesar wrap and the chicken truffle parmesan sandwich with fries. The fries were cold and undercooked. And the chicken really didn't taste good, and the bread was stale. While eating the chicken sandwich, we both got stomach aches and felt nauseous. When we indicated that it really didn't taste good and that we had both eaten at most one bite, the wait staff indicated that we could have a cake on the house. With stomach aches and nausea, we naturally didn't feel like that anymore. Furthermore, we didn't want any more hassle because we wanted to leave as quickly as possible, but we were still made to pay for our food, which really wasn't good. Coming home, we both had such severe stomach pains with all the consequences that come with it. On top of that, it is really expensive. Please skip this place. Update: They read my message on Instagram and they aren't responding to that either. Scandalous.

This morning my mum and I walked into Ree7 and happily said good morning to the lady standing at the register. We asked for a table for 2 to which she huffed and rolled her eyes. We then proceeded to seat ourselves, to which we received more dirty looks from a clearly very unhappy staff member. We then walked out as we felt very unwelcome. Extremely rude customer service when all we said was good morning

Just now, we wanted to sit on the terrace. The ladies next to us said the spot was free, but the arrogant blonde waitress claimed the lady had gone to the restroom. When we then wanted to sit inside, she suddenly said that wasn't possible either, even though it was clear there were still seats available. We won't be coming back here. You'd be better off putting up a sign saying tourists aren't welcome, because the arrogant way this was presented was truly appalling. We eventually went to Koffiehuis De Hoek, where we were indeed welcomed in a friendly and warm manner!

We had breakfast at Ree 7 and were absolutely delighted. The service was very friendly and attentive. The drinks and food arrived quickly and everything was incredibly delicious! We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for breakfast in Amsterdam :)

It's actually a very cute café, and the cakes and pastries looked really delicious, but the meal deal was unfortunately awful. I got terrible stomach pains after eating the açaí bowl, and while my friend's sandwich was okay, the chicken looked so unappetizing that we really didn't want to eat it. The matcha was really good quality, but unfortunately, the oat milk, which cost extra, was far too watery. Our waiter was incredibly kind and helpful, though. It's a shame the food was so bad, and we both had to leave feeling disgusted.

The food will make you sick! Almost €20 for the most mediocre meal imaginable… Almost every table leaves half their food because it just doesn't taste good. The oat milk costs more and is just watery. The waiters are very nice, though.

During our trip to Amsterdam, we first discovered this place thanks to the beautiful cakes displayed in the window, especially their generous slice of lemon-poppy seed cake. We went back twice after that, and everything we tried was excellent: coffees, drinks, juices, and also the acai bowl with fresh fruit. The service is also a real highlight, with a very pleasant and welcoming person running the café. A great place for a delicious break in Amsterdam!

I went there craving tiramisu. I asked if they could make it to go, she said yes, so I waited outside. A few minutes later she came out holding… an iced coffee drink 💀 I told her “this isn’t tiramisu,” and instead of fixing it properly, she rudely grabbed ONE ladyfinger biscuit and threw it on top of the cup like that magically turns coffee into tiramisu 😂 Honestly one of the most ridiculous and rude experiences I’ve had. Terrible attitude, zero professionalism, and apparently zero understanding of what tiramisu actually is, even the drink was awful

Don’t recommend this cafe at all. Rude staff, overpriced menu, and an attitude that makes the whole experience worse.

Good food, poor coffe (that did not taste like coffe at all), and horrible hygiene at the front counter. Dirty dishes was put in between dish soap, cutlery, produce and food that was served to guests. No respect for basic restaurant rules with «clean zones/dirty zones». The employees also did dishes and later continued to make food without proper hand hygiene.

Dirty fork, no napkin, after a friendly welcome the service staff seemed off-hand when seated.

I ate here and I am certainly pleased with the food. The Caesar wrap was very tasty and the sweets were also well-received – the French toast with fruit was especially highly recommended. The matcha wasn't really my thing, but that is of course a matter of personal taste. So, in terms of food, I would definitely give a good rating. Unfortunately, I found the service a bit lacking. I would have appreciated it if someone had asked if everything was to my liking or how it tasted, but that didn't happen. The atmosphere itself was fine, although I found it a bit cold inside. It could have been a little warmer for my liking. Something else worth mentioning: the portions are quite large. You can easily share a meal with two people. If you order alone, it can end up being quite pricey – I spent €39.95 myself. Additionally, it is good to know that you can only pay by card here. All in all, I had a nice meal, but there is still some room for improvement in service and comfort.

The food was decent, but the service was extremely rude and unprofessional — our to-go order was mixed up and instead of fixing it, the waitress reacted with attitude and blamed us. If you don’t want your mood ruined, I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

A trendy and hyped café that could just as easily be in Berlin, London, or New York. The food is good, very Instagrammable, but also quite expensive. If you like this urban Instagram hype, you'll definitely get your money's worth!

Rude and stressed waitress. She asked me “What do you want?” with an unfriendly tone. Mediocre coffee done on a hurry. The machines seemed unclean and overall hygiene was doubtful. The staff was not welcoming at all. The place is way to small.

It is a cafe in a very good location, and it is clean and nice inside. It is definitely not a cafe you would go out of your ways to eat at. I ordered tea but was dissappointed by the fact that they have teabags. The coffee and croissants were ok, nothing too special. The service felt so rude to us; the young lady at the counter was so fake and communicating strangely which made us not feel welcome.

We had eggs Benedict, FREE7 breakfast, a chai latte and mint tea; all incredibly delicious. The bread was particularly crunchy and savoury, while the eggs were perfectly cooked. I honestly did not see any of the issues mentioned in the previous reviews and it seems that there are 3 to 4 people working here which makes both service and food top notch. I would recommend this place for breakfast/brunch or for tea without any reservation : )

I stopped at this café because the cakes in the window looked delicious. The chocolate cake was indeed very good! However, it's not very spacious and therefore quite noisy inside.

Absolutely wonderful brunch experience. Refreshing home made ice tea, ice coffee even tho it was not on the menu they made it. Fresh croissant with poached eggs, guacamole, plenty of Parmesan cheese and more. The ingredients are high quality, food is amazing, portions more than you hope. Topped it off with a home made carrot cake - one of the best I ever had. I will come again 🤩

This was one of the worst café experiences I’ve ever had in Amsterdam. The staff were shockingly unprofessional and rude, especially the male employee who behaved like a spoiled brat and couldn’t be bothered to do any actual work while the two female staff members were clearly the only ones doing anything. We ordered coffees and a cinnamon bun. The coffees never arrived. The cinnamon bun was dropped on the table with no cutlery, no napkins, and no water. When he put it down, he was rude and dismissive and made it very clear he didn’t care. Any competent person with a functioning brain would know these basic items should already be on the table. When I asked for cutlery, napkins, and water, he looked annoyed, walked away, and never came back. The single set of cutlery already on the table was dirty. The place looked very unhygienic. When I went up to him again to say he still hadn’t brought anything, he said, “cry me a river, babe.” That alone tells you everything you need to know about this place. The service was unacceptable, sarcastic, lazy, and openly hostile. This person should not be working in hospitality, and management should be ashamed for allowing someone like this to represent their business. Do not spend your money here. Support cafés that respect their customers and actually care about service, because this one clearly does not.

REE7 has a great location, and the service was otherwise good. We ordered water, a cappuccino, a lotus bar, and a pistachio croissant. The cappuccino was fine, and the lotus bar was okay, but nothing special. The biggest disappointment was the pistachio croissant. It was served from the display case around three or four in the afternoon, even though it had clearly been sitting there for a long time. The croissant was sunken, hard, and tasted as if it had never been (re)baked. When we paid, we were told that the croissants are baked in the morning, which explains why the quality is so disappointing later in the day. What makes it even more painful is the price: seven euros for a single pistachio croissant. For that price, you expect at least a fresh product, and this was absolutely not. For that price-quality ratio, there are easily better alternatives nearby, even at a supermarket. It's also quite noisy inside. Overall not a bad experience service-wise, but for what you pay the quality is disappointing.

So many positive things to say about this place. The service was fantastic, the girls working that day were super friendly and sweet. The food was phenomenal, I especially enjoyed the lotus biscoff french toast, it was definitely my favourite thing I tried on my trip. Another great mention was the music playing, every song fit the vibe of the place so well and created such a good atmosphere.

I Came there, the weitress asked if i want take away or to sit there. I said sit there and she gave me the menu. I was standing there and looking at the menu, when i chose i was ready to order but she asked again if i want to sit or take away and i said sit. She told me i can choose a seat and she will come. Okay i went to sit and i was waiting because i already chose what i wanted as i was standing at the bar because i thought that i have to order there. So i was waiting and then the waiter came (different) but he went to different table which is ok because they were there before me and i thought after them he will come to me but he didnt and left so i am still waiting there. Then some two girls came and sat. The waiter came down (i was sitting downstairs) and WHO do you think he went to… he went to the girls that came after me. I was like ok maybe he will come to me after them. He didnt. He left. So i am waiting. I was waiting for couple more minutes but he wasnt coming so i decided i will just get some matcha to go at the bar and then left. Its shame because i wanted to eat there.

The best apple pie I ever ate. The food is yummy and they have a good variety. The atmosphere is cozy and a pleasant stop after some walking around on the canals. It would have been 5 start if not for the waitress who is as cheerful and nice as a dentist about to perform a root canal on you.

We placed an order, and it came wrong twice. On top of that, even though we asked a young waiter for water five times, it never arrived. The tea and coffee we ordered at the very beginning still hadn’t come even after we finished our breakfast. By the way, it’s very strange — wrong orders are being delivered to every table, and there are 4–5 plates just sitting around with no owner. If you can’t manage table service or don’t have a waiter who can take orders correctly, you could switch to self-service. We shouldn’t be the ones to teach you this, right?

Today we’ve had lunch at Ree7, it was our first time and not that great of an impression. We’ve had not the feeling of a warm welcome by the staff, which is a shame because the place itself is very warm and cosy Christmas vibes. Also the food was ok-ish. For a burger with fries you pay around €18,-. The first time it arrived it was burned and very dry. We have made a complaint and the other burger was ok but now without the bacon. Overall I thought it was not worth the price at all and not a great experience as you can imagine.

Visited this popular spot but had a disappointing experience. We were seated promptly, which was a good start, but service quickly fell short. Only one staff member was working out front, and although extra help arrived, it didn’t make much difference. We had to call someone over to place our order after being overlooked, while others who arrived later were served first. Our order included French toast, an açaí bowl, and two iced coffees. The coffees were made quickly but left sitting on the counter while we waited for food. The French toast arrived without toppings and had to be returned; when it came back, there was a hair in the cream. The açaí bowl never arrived at all, i didn’t think to moan and complain as i knew they were rushed/understaff. did mention once paying The coffees were good, but overall service felt disorganized. I understand staffing issues happen, but continuing to accept large groups without adequate support really impacted the experience.

A cozy, well-heated, and nicely decorated place. They have a wide variety of pastries, toast, and croissants, as well as coffees and natural smoothies. I couldn’t resist trying their pumpkin spice latte and it was delicious. The service is a bit slow, but the staff is very attentive and friendly.

We had a very nice experience here at Ree 7, great atmosphere and very friendly service. We had a chai latte and it was very creamy and delicious... Unfortunately we lost a bit of rating because the toilets weren't working, it can happen but it's a real shame. This MUST be fixed immediately!!!

The food was absolutely delicious. Both the sweet and savory options were truly outstanding. My personal favorite: the Caesar wrap. The portions are also enormous, so it's definitely worth the price, especially by Amsterdam standards. There's plenty of room inside, but it's cozy and a bit noisy, so keep that in mind if you prefer a more intimate setting.

I saw so many nice things about this place. I arrived with one friend, and there was plenty of room. We were immediately turned away at the entrance and couldn't even get in. I finally went in to ask for a table. After ordering, we received our matcha in paper to-go cups. I asked if she could change them to regular glasses, and she practically threw the drink into the other cup. And it wasn't even tasty. It's ridiculous for what we paid and what we got back (absolutely nothing).

Far too expensive coffee. We ordered after 15 minutes and then waited 20 minutes for tea and a simple coffee. The pumpkin spice latte was way too sweet. Just because it was on Tic Tac doesn't mean it's good. Quite the opposite, in fact.

The café was nicely decorated, and there was plenty of space to sit comfortably. We had a strawberry matcha, an iced latte with pink foam, and a cinnamon roll with cream cheese. We really enjoyed it! We ordered French toast and vegetarian burrata with 2 strawberry matcha sauces, and it was delicious! The service was also excellent.

It was actually a great coffee shop. Until we had to pay. They booked the wrong table, so we overpaid. They couldn't give us a cash refund, so they promised to transfer the money. Unfortunately, a week later, still nothing in our account! We tried calling, but they didn't answer. It's a shame.

After visiting the adjacent MAAP store, we decided to grab a bite to eat and a coffee. We'd jokingly mentioned a week earlier that açai wasn't available in our region. But here, it was on the menu! And it didn't disappoint: a generously filled bowl, a good cappuccino, and friendly staff completed our visit. Worth 5 stars for us.

As previously mentioned, I must have one of the sweetest teeth known 🍭 🍬 This beautiful, chill cafe has the most gorgeous window displays and was instantly drawn to it. I knew I had to get the cupcake I saw in the window (not that dog)🐕😅 I saw the cutest Easter themed cake and thought why not go all in 🤭 (after just having shared fries and bought a box of cookies 🍪😅) I got: 🥤Freakshake Candyman (vanilla milkshake, doughnut, cotton candy and sweet toppings) 🧁 Sweetie Cupcake (from Easter Display) @ree7amsterdam

The place itself is very nice, in a great location, and welcoming. The food wasn't bad at all, but it was extremely expensive for the quality. The girl who served us was generally nice, except for the fact that we asked to split the bill. Overall, not bad, but there are definitely better options for a lower price.

Cozy location in the heart of the Nine Streets. Great atmosphere. You can sit inside or outside. Delicious cappuccino salad and a tasty club sandwich. They also make special smoothies. Unfortunately, the ladies' restroom was broken and the other restroom wasn't very clean.

Very relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. I ordered the hamburger with caramelized onions, egg and bacon and I truly recomend it. I also tried the chicken sallad which also tasted very well. To all who visit Amsterdam, you won’t regret trying this wonderful café.

If you go for the tongue shakes with donuts in the photos online, you can skip it because once we were there, they told us they hadn't had them for a year. It's just a normal, very expensive coffee shop, and the coffee wasn't that great. It was also raining and windy, and the girls next door had closed a window because it was drafty. As soon as they left, the waitress opened the window again. When we asked her to please leave it closed because it was cold (we were with a 2-year-old girl, and she was freezing), she told us to hold it, she had to air it out. Well, the door was already open, and the rest of the windows were open. It's just one window because it's cold...she wasn't very friendly. We don't recommend it.

Walked in after seeing some good reviews about this place from tik tok, there was 2 girls one wearing a pink company top the other lady dressed like she was customer. However she was nice, wasn’t busy so please bare that in mind. I was given a menu. Ordered club sandwich and coke, coke come quick, I could hear the workers (the two girls I mentioned) talking a bit and one going on a break, I was quite busy on my phone so I didn’t mind waiting but after half an hour I could see one of the two workers talking with someone, so I said excuse me please do you know how long my food will be. Which is the lady I ordered from, the other worker (butted in and said abruptly I will go and check, I had to say I’m not being rude but I’ve wait well over half an hour even longer. The other (who took my order ) lady agreeed with me and said they probably forgot. Do you want me to get them to cook it now? It could take 15/ mins 🤦‍♀️ of course not I waited half an hour for a club sandwich that I never got. Plus the other girl was rude needs to learn how to deal with customers. Her tone was off anyway but I’m guessing because her personal life isn’t great. Just from her conversation I could hear.. the bakery stuff at the food of the shop isn’t covered so obviously flies was ok them, the yogurt made at the front with fruit looks grim. So def a blessing. I didn’t eat from that. Approach with caution.
