Delicious food, good service, nice people!

I celebrated my birthday on Sunday at the end of November 2025. While the management was already super flexible and helpful in the lead-up and on the day itself, the staff were just as amazing! We had a lovely drinks reception and then dinner. The Smash Burger was considered by many to be one of the tastiest burgers they've ever had! All in all, we had a fantastic day and an unforgettable birthday. Thank you, Kiebert, the best café in Amsterdam!

Very bad. I understand ordering via QR code, but if I have to wait 20 minutes for my coffee, I think that's a bit long. Especially when everyone around you gets their order. Hmm, they discriminate between orders and whether or not to tip 🤔. The coffee is also a bit lukewarm, unfortunately. Not for us anymore.

Great menu and staff, by far the best service I have had in Amsterdam in months - Lena was incredible.

We went for brunch and it was lackluster in every way. The food took an eternity to arrive, the waitress literally dumped the cutlery on the table and left it there for us to distribute among each other (this is just one of the many examples of the bad service we experienced) and the food quality is just sub-par... An overall disappointment.

Great place for drinks. You can order via the QR code or with the staff. Everything is served quickly. The only downside is that we had to leave suddenly because the deck was reserved.

Overpriced average food and drinks, but the location is nice

I have been coming for more than a year, one thing or another has changed and that is the bread, embarrassingly the last time 2 pieces of toasted bread that was the second time, we are done with this cafe.

Too bad. Normally just a drink is fine. This time lunch. Bread with croquette and it is exactly what it is. Two croquettes on super stale white bread. First round my croquettes cold and returned. Then warm but same stale bread. Service is messy and one of the ladies was super annoying and facetiming very hard during her lunch. After asking for the bill even that was forgotten. Beer fine, lunch no more.

Incompetent girl behind the bar, who really thinks that Flutes of 18 cl. (without cl. indication on the glass itself n.b.) are the norm....... well they are not, this is cheating your customers. 20/22cl. is the norm, and the price difference between a Flute and a Vase of 25cl. is downright bizarre. In short, in this Café you are being cheated. And one more thing young lady, do not argue with your customers, you are really too stupid for that.

Great Cafè if you want to sit down, relax and grab a bite. Waiters very kind and welcoming.

It's alright, a nice location. The food is pretty meh, toastie bread was the typical cheap white bread, the coffee is ok. Prices are in the middle of the road as well. Service was friendly and reasonably quick. Not jumping up and down to come back.

A beautiful old-school yet contemporary top tent in the middle of Mokum. In one room a party because Grandpa turned 80. Other people playing a game, many guests share a delicious lunch just like us. Good music, not too loud. The crispy Rib Eye sandwich with Tonnato tasted divine and the Smashburger sambal yum yum. Fries thin, crispy and tasty. Chapeaux for the Chef! Cool, hardworking, very nice service. Also a lot to see around us. Funny details on the wall, etc. I say go ahead and enjoy everything Café Kièbert has to offer!

Kiebert is one of those places where you come once and immediately know: I want to be here more often. The atmosphere is relaxed, the decor stylish without fuss, and the food is simply good. But what really makes it complete? The bartenders. Always a smile, always time for a chat, and they not only shake cocktails, but also atmosphere. Whether you fancy a classic Negroni or want to be surprised with something new, they know exactly what you need. You feel welcome, seen, and spoiled - just like a good bar should be. Highly recommended if you like fun, good drinks and people who know their trade!

Delicious smashburger, my favorite! Always good coffee in the morning. Furthermore, I think the staff is really great and they can handle the crowds well! The owners should be proud! Cheers!

We ordered oven camamber and smoked rib eye and it was godlike, stuff is very friendly and attentive and this place is must to visit:). Upd. The Camembert and smoked rib eye are gone from the menu, iam crying :(

Never had food here, only drinks n snacks that were okay. But it is one of my most favorite spots in Ams, specially in Summer. Very cozy atmosphere!

The service is miserable, im so disappointed!! I waited 15 min to have the menu, when the restaurant was empty, then i waited another 15 min to order, i was fed up and left ! 🤬

Had a nice drink here during the Amsterdam Marathon, nice atmosphere! Unfortunately the food was a lot less successful. There was so much mustard on each sandwich that it was really impossible. It overpowered everything, completely destroying the flavor of the rest of the sandwich. Too bad, because the place itself is nice. Hopefully this will be corrected and we will definitely come back for a better experience!

Unfortunately I didn't take a picture, but today I had a cheese board which cost around €14. There were 3 very thin slices of 3 French cheeses each, a small bunch of grapes and 3 pieces of bread or something like that. I didn't dare say anything, but I felt really tricked. Wonder if this is common or a mistake. It was really scandalous. Kiebert hopes you will respond to this

We were forced to sit here because the traffic in Amsterdam was completely at a standstill. No regrets! We had a delicious meal, the service was above expectations and the three of us spent less than EUR 150. We will definitely come back someday.

2 large TV screens hung outside on the street -Public space-, nice for the neighbors. Everything for non-Amsterdam residents to celebrate again. Most people cannot name 5 players from the Dutch team and do not know whether there is air or sand in a ball...

Tent in itself. I was there yesterday and I already felt that my cappuccino had been put in a dirty glass and sure enough, after a few sips I saw that there was a dead fly in it. Then the bouncer is without a pickle or a piece of tomato. Just put it on 2 slices of bread, no butter added. I didn't like it at all

Great place to come and have lunch. You have quite a few opportunities to sit in the sun and enjoy a drink during the day. Service was friendly but there was a little confusion with our order. But of course that can happen to anyone. Furthermore, the food was simple but tasty; and they certainly get points for how their food is served. I also liked having a choice between sourdough or multi-seed bread.

Nice place, friendly, somewhat clumsy staff, a lot of noise, were placed next to the smelly dishwashing kitchen. Very poor meal, chicken also undercooked, so we got half of the money back. Went home hungry. Quite nice for a drink (if you like noise) but certainly not for eating.

Cozy café, but you don't have to go here for the food. It was fairly tasteless and not particularly tasty. The atmosphere was very pleasant. 5 stars for having a drink here, 2 stars for eating here.

The best fries I've ever eaten! The service and food are very nice. The coffee is very nice. I think it should be preferred for late breakfast. Prices are normal.

One of the best soup of the week I have ever had!! 7,50 for that and two bread!! I just love mushroom soup!

Er heerst altijd een prettige sfeer en service is vriendelijk en goed. We hebben ons echter stukgeslagen op de Kiebert burger. Enfin, goede borrel tent, maar de burger was niet om over naar huis te schrijven. Eten slaan we de volgende keer over.

Um local muito bom para uma refeição a qualquer hora do dia. Apresenta uma grande variedade de pratos e bebidas. Caso esteja procurando um local com características bem regionais é o lugar certo para fazer uma refeição.

Hele gezellige avond gehad, met 17 collega's hier een prima hapje gegeten, 3 gangen menu, ondanks 'groot' gezelschap, op een creatieve manier toch leuke variatie in de gangen. Heerlijke wijnen. Bediening was super, vriendelijk, snel en service gericht. Goede timing!

Personeel weinig responsief, mede omdat ze geen Nederlands kunnen en dus niet reageren op je vragen ("Hey, kan ik je wat vragen?"). Als je dan de aandacht hebt en wil bestellen, wordt je gewezen op de QR-code op tafel, wat verwarrend is omdat er ook kaarten rondgaan. Na bestelling duurt het dan weer lang. Los daarvan maakt een QR-code het er naar mijn mening niet persoonlijker op.

Really liked the vibe and the food (been for breakfast, lunch and dinner), good friendly service, overall good experience. Been going here for years, its always a homey vibe. A ok size covered terrace, and a another seating area outside on bridge too. Summer is busy, but chances are you find space. Will go back for sure!

Meer restaurant dan café zou ik zeggen, maar best een leuke zaak. Het eten (voor zover ik het geprobeerd heb) is van best goede kwaliteit. Voor diner heeft men een leuk concept (kleine porties zodat je meer kunt bestellen en proeven) maar men is wel een beetje over priced. Ondanks de grootte is het binnen aangenaam en men heeft een mooi terras aan twee kanten van de straat. Meestal met zon én schaduw dus voor elk wat wils.

Prachtige plek in Amsterdam. Heerlijke werkplek voor als je niet perse op kantoor hoeft te zijn. Maar ook gewoon gezellig en knus met een goede keuken en heerlijke koffie.

Ik heb mijn verjaardag bij Kiebert gevierd. We begonnen om 1800 met een diner voor 7. Aansluitend van 2000 tot 0000 een borrel voor ca 50 vrienden en familieleden. Top geregeld, fijne bediening, heerlijke hapjes. Aanrader!
