Here is the really quality and good food !Everything here made by themselves ,I mean all food ! Bread and even mayo 😋...bwt here they bake an amazing QUALITY yeast-free bread... My recommendations to visit 👍

Highly recommend Cafe Maurits. The food is so well executed with so much flavor and beautifully plated . There’s so much passion from the kitchen and the cherry on top is the service. The owners Vincent & Thomas really make you feel welcome. Not to forget to mention they have one of the best wine lists in Amsterdam for sure. Will definitely come back.

As always, delicious food, fresh original starters, delicious asparagus and a mega surprising and delicious blood orange/rosewater pannacotta. Paired with a cracker of a white burgundy. But above all super warm, friendly welcoming staff

Nice little place, good atmosphere. Service is fast, relaxed and attentive. Starter and main course were good. Nice wine selection. Cheese came from the freezer or refrigerator and was placed under a heat lamp, which made it completely melted. Reported this and then a new and cooled portion was neatly offered, despite that not very special. Prices a bit on the high side for the total quality and portion size. But all in all certainly a nice meal and a nice little place!

Local bistro-style restaurant focused on seasonal ingredients, tasty food with French influence. They offer 3 course menu (50€) and a-la carte choice of 3-4 starters, mains and desserts, nice selection of bar bites and wines. Great service, polite, attentive, they would bring new set of cutlery with every dish. Cozy atmosphere, simple design and not very crowded inside, it's enough space between tables! Thank you for this! You can come for dinner or just drinks. I want to come back for kind of "aperetivo" (few drinks with small bar bites, menu looked interesting) and try other dishes. A few other things to mention delicious sourdough bread, there are few tables outside, portions might be a bit too small (if you're hungry), they have full menu on their website, they can give you Dutch and English at the place.

Yesterday we ate again with the brothers. Just like all previous times, it was the perfect combination of delicious food and genuine hospitality. Familiar and pleasantly surprising are in perfect balance here. I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

Alweer voor de tweede keer in café Maurits gegeten. Beide keren een opvallend vriendelijke bediening, passen zich aan jouw tempo. Het eten is van grote klasse; heerlijke kleine hapjes bij het eerste glaasje en een verrukkelijk en betaalbaar driegangen menu. Je kan ook allerlei heerlijks a la carte kiezen. Spannende wijnen en ze geven goed advies. Wij komen graag weer terug.

Fabulous hidden gem on the Hoofdorpplein. I've been three times now and each time the food was delicious, a bit different, with very friendly and unobtrusive service. Excellent wines too and good value. Definitely recommend (please ignore the Mara Grimm review! Can't understand it!)

Classy food in a good, relaxed atmosphere. Food a bit pricey for the quantity, but nice ingredients and everything is great to share. Delicious food without haste, everything comes to the table at the right pace, you can always join us and a lot of attention is paid to guests.

Amazing food and some lovely Puglian wine. We all had 3 courses with some bread (best bread I've eaten) and olives to start. This is a place for special occasions, and for an evening where you want some fancy food. Looking forward to coming back when we visit again x

Het is altijd een feestje om bij Vincent en Tomas, de eigenaren van Maurits te gaan eten. Ze stellen er echt een eer in dat je een mooie avond hebt. Afgelopen dinsdag lukte hen dat weer helemaal. Wat werd er weer prachtig gekookt, met verrassende combinaties, zoooo heerlijk! Daarbij schonken ze mooie, betaalbare wijnen en verrassen ook daarin elke keer. Oftewel, een enorme aanrader en we komen in ieder geval nog vaak terug.

Great place! Even though I live nearby, I only actually went for dinner tonight. Extremely surprised, from the atmosphere to the service and above all the food and wine, a big 10! Recommended!

Super bad!!! Had to wait over 45 minutes for our starter!! In the end we reserved a starter that was half warm... not to mention the main course... super bad!!. Before this it was PASARD HARSARD The same owners have taken over. Terrible!! They're scammers. Why: well I had dinner with my partner at your place, 2 x fries with war. Which would normally cost 10-12. We were thirsty and asked for 1x carafe of water. After 30 minutes still nothing. There were 2 x bottles of water on the table, I understand that that costs money. Okay, we drink those 2 bottles of water, later comes the fries and a carafe of water. Bill: 2x fries for 10 euros Sauce 9× 1.75 war Water wx bottle a 6 euros each 12 euros While sauce was ordered twice!!! So we would have to pay €38 for 2x fries with sauce and tap water!! They are dirty scammers, and yes we have been coming here for years!! We live around the corner here. Hopefully you handle it better now!!

Beautiful atmospheric location with delicious food and an extensive wine list. We were able to just walk in without a reservation and managed to get a spot at the bar. The tortellini is definitely recommended!

A colleague recommended this restaurant to me, praising it as a hidden gem in our area, so I had high expectations. The restaurant did not disappoint! The service was friendly and attentive, a perfect balance. The wine selection was nice, and we enjoyed some beautiful German wines. Although the starter was a bit too salty for my taste, the rest of the dishes were very good. I especially loved the dessert and would definitely return. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between formal and casual. I highly recommend this place!

Some of the best food I’ve ever head!

A lowkey neighbourhood restaurant around the corner of my house. Food is absolutely amazing - we had their take on Indian street food pani puri (so delish), duck rilette, sardines, toasted brioche with pickled mushroom (second time I’ve had it), tortellini with truffle & lamb. The sardines wasn’t salty enough but everything else was top tier, also the wine was really nice. A little bit pricy, but to be honest the same as wherever else you eat in Amsterdam. 10/10 recommend and will definitely come back (also whenever they change menus!)

Fairly new on Hoofddorpplein but highly recommended. French cuisine is well represented here. Our dinner consisted of small dishes that we shared together with a glass of delicious Grüner Veltkiner 'Terrassen' from 2022. We started with a delicious shiitake broth, deliciously flavored with atjar tjampoer foam. Then we had Brioche toast, topped with mushrooms and topped with salty dune cheese. We also chose the sardines in olive oil with butter and bread.

My new favorite place in the Hoofddorppleinbuurt! All dishes, including the snacks (try the herb crisp!), are truly a treat. They have an extensive and very affordable wine list and the two guys who run the place are very committed and warm. The neighborhood is lucky to have this place!

We ended up here by chance and we were happy with it! What a surprise. Delicious food! The menu was small, but that was no problem. What was on it sounded delicious and what we chose was delicious too. The men serving were very nice and they thought carefully about the delicious wines. Sometimes our plate remained there for a long time after it was empty, but that did not feel disturbing because everything went so smoothly. This is a restaurant to come back to again!

Very good experience at Café Maurits, we loved it! The food was excellent, we tried both vegetarian and non vegetarian. Everyone was satisfied :). Service was also perfect, lovely staff. Tip for an even better experience: serve some bread with the dishes to enjoy the amazing sauce until the last drop ;).

Heerlijk en bijzonder gegeten, enige minpuntje is de prijs. We namen 2x een voorgerecht zodat we meerdere smaken konden proeven.

Wij hebben afgelopen weekend heerlijk gegeten bij café Maurits. Het eten was heerlijk en echt even anders dan het gemiddelde menu in een restaurant. Ook de vegetarische opties waren lekker én creatief (eindelijk eens geen salade geitenkaas ;-) ) Ook over het drinken is goed nagedacht. Mijn vrienden genoten van heerlijke bijpassende wijnen, terwijl ik (zwanger) de lekkerste gembercocktail ooit kreeg. Prettige sfeer en vriendelijk en attent personeel. Wij gaan er graag nog eens naar terug. Wij hebben ons niet ingehouden, vandaar de naam af hogere prijs. Een driegangenmenu kost zo’n €45.

It was the last night of our European vacation and we didn’t want to stray far from our hotel. We came upon Maurits and I am so glad we did. The atmosphere was simple yet welcoming - with candles and light color tones. The service was very attentive and the food was phenomenal. The server mentioned they have only been open since June - they have perfected their craft quickly. Wishing them all the best -
