Here you can sit outside, sheltered from the wind! Super delicious food, generous portions, a well-organized menu with tasty beers on tap... And super service that keeps an eye on everything and arrives when your glass is empty 😃🍺🍺 Highly recommended!!

Perfect fries, but expensive overall

We went to Orloff Amsterdam for a nice drink and ordered a beer and some food. The menu, which is also available in Dutch and English, isn't extensive, but there's plenty of choice for a quick bite or drink. The prices are reasonable, especially by Amsterdam standards. You can sit outside if the weather permits, but the interior is also cozy and pleasant. A great place to relax in a city that's less crowded with tourists.

This is a lovely place to enjoy a coffee or beer outside. The patio seating is very nice. The service is excellent. We enjoyed coffee and cappuccino here and relaxed after a long walk.

Enjoy a drink in this warm weather. Then find a terrace. Wonderful in this Christmas.

Frustrating, says in their menu that they serve lunch until 4pm, yet kitchen was closed at 3pm. Wouldn’t take our order even though people are eating around us.

I ordered a "Lemon Ricotta" sandwich, which said it had feta cheese, roasted vegetables, lettuce, and walnuts. It was a little disappointing to see that the vegetables, which were just peppers, were raw, not roasted, and didn't have any walnuts. I asked the waitress, and she said they roast the vegetables, but I guess not long enough. I asked her why they didn't add the walnuts mentioned on the menu, and she said, "If you want walnuts, I'll bring them to you." No dressing. I think if you go there, it's better to opt for other options.

Eight of us came for lunch. However, that wasn't possible because the kitchen was too small. Eating for four at four wasn't possible either, as that would still have been eight people. Quite unusual, to say the least.

We came there and it was empty. We wanted to order breakfast, they came out and said that we were too many. Only 4 at the time. So we asked if we could split up into groups of 4. They didn’t give a clear answer. After many back och fourths, we left. Everything was very weird!

Great Café to relax, have a drink and enjoy the sun. Would recommend the home made lemonade, iced coffee and breakfast options.

I ordered shakshuka, and it was an absolutely tasteless dish — for the first time in a long while, I couldn’t eat what I had ordered, and it wasn’t cheap either. I politely asked to change the dish for something else, but unfortunately, they still asked me to pay for the shakshuka. For me, this moment was the deciding factor not to return there. I think it’s unprofessional. In the end, I ordered pancakes, but even for those, I had to pay 50%. So I ended up with a breakfast that didn’t satisfy me and cost me €25.

On my list of Best fries in downtown Amsterdam. Service is regular but typical of Amsterdam terrace. Its nice and quiet.

It was a good experience. The waiters were VERY polite. The food I chose wasn’t the best for my palate but it not the caffe faulte. It has a very good vibes. The cake was very good. I do recommend it ! Went by the night don’t know how is it during the day.

Very long service. It seems that the tourists (20 minutes before seeing a waitress's nose) are not lucky enough to deserve as much attention as the regulars (3 tables of Dutch people arrived after us and served before us, in less than 10 min). Avoid if you are not a regular.

From the outside it looks like just another place in the city, but when you enter you experience a nice, very cozy atmosphere. I love places where you can sit in the windows. We were four people and we went on a Sunday morning. The service was very friendly. The girl who served us took the time to listen to us and recommend food and drinks. The waiting time was short. The taste of the food and drinks was good. Prices are within normal For four people we paid €76. The taste of the coffee is delicious. It is not the best in the city but if you are a coffee lover, you will not be disappointed here. Very well located

Amazing cozy space not far from Arcam. If you are caught by surprise by rain, it is great place to hide. Flatbread with falafel was heavenly, drinks were immaculate as well.

Friendly service, good quality food, the Red Lentil Soup and the Flatbread are recommended.

Yesterday afternoon, prior to a reclining concert in the maritime museum, we had a bite to eat on the terrace with a nice glass of wine. We enjoyed it! Nice place, relaxed atmosphere, super friendly service, very fast and delicious food. A super nice place that we will remember for when we are in Amsterdam again 👌🏼.

The three of us were there for breakfast. A small breakfast with a large espresso and croissant was ordered. Then a capucino with croissant with cheese. And a water with grilled ham cheese sandwich. The espresso and capucino and water came very quickly and were tasty too. After 15 minutes we asked if the food was still coming because the drink was almost empty. After another 5 minutes the food arrived. The croissants were also served on a wooden board. The one with cheese on a plate and 2 slices of cheese. No knife and quite loveless. The sandwich also on a plate. The quality was more supermarket than anything else. And why it takes 20 minutes to put a croissant on a plate with 2 pre-cut cheese slices is a mystery to me. It takes me 5 minutes to top a sandwich and bake it in the toaster. And the real kicker is the price of 29.30 euros for this quality is outrageous. The location is nice but I'm not paying for it. That's just fine for a coffee. Oh yes. There were only 6 other people there at the time of our visit and most of them had already ordered.

Friendly staff but totally unprepared to receive customers. Way too slow service with half empty restaurant. Burnt pancakes after one hour waiting. Rest of the food was just unremarkable dull.

Waitress was extremely unkind and I would go so far as to say rude. We didn’t even eat because of how dismissive the waitress was. The restaurant is unable to accommodate groups I would not suggest going there if you have more than 4 people.

The only place in Amsterdam we came back to during our stay. Tasty food, excellent coffee, and a nice atmosphere, be it inside or just outside. Staff may get overwhelmed at times, which is understandable given how many people (majority of them locals!) visit.

Nice place, relaxed. We were a bit surprised that the staff had a great time together, and so it never occurred to them to clean the tables (all tables were dirty and full of glasses). It fits the relaxed atmosphere, but grab that cloth anyway ;)

Nice atmosphere and service was okay, but the food was pretty average. The “Complete Breakfast” I ordered, the egg was hard boiled not poached, pancakes were dry, and mueseli too sweet.

Nice location in the old look, really retro, very nice young people who run the café. Great for a snack. Small menu but you are sure to find something, the food was very good, nothing to complain about. We had breakfast here. Unfortunately, we had to split up for large groups with reservations only. Food was very tasty, unfortunately there is no vegan breakfast.

Unfortunately, 1 star is still too much. Upon arrival, we were asked if they had any problems with a 2-year-old toddler, which was no problem. After ordering, we had to leave anyway because it bothered people. We also had to pay for something we did not receive, but ordered. Worthless cafe

Delicious breakfast, large selection.

There were 7 of us so they couldn't prepare us what we ordered, only 2-3 dishes from the entire menu. They haven't given us breakfast!! Because the kitchen is small, but they have offered it to other tables...a shame because the place is cozy, the girls are friendly and the food is not bad...but the plates are really small for the price. It is not recommended except for a coffee in a cozy place...

As a group, you are not entitled to order the full range of the menu for reasons that are unclear.

The price is very high for the amount of food provided. It took 30 minutes to make a cheese and ham toastie with pancakes. Our drinks were forgotten, when reminded when we eventually got our food it took another 10 minutes to get a cola and cup of tea. Not to mention the cup of tea isn't even made for you, just hot water and no milk provided. Takes cash despite displaying a no cash sign, making our third party member unable to order when they could have in the first place.

Very Cozy little restaurant. The minute I went in you could feel the good energy. The guy behind the bar was super friendly and welcoming and the other waiters seemed friendly as well. We tried the bittenballen and the toast with alioli and it was all good and fresh! Is one of my new favorite spots in this city

We had brunch here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Service, food and location were all good and the food was excellent. Good value for money. It helped that the weather was warm and sunny, so we were able to sit outside. Cafe Orloff is on our list for places to come back to.

Avant notre visite en famille au musée de la science, nous cherchions un endroit pour déjeuner. Quelle belle surprise ce petit restaurant ! L’endroit est agréable, les sandwichs sont délicieux. J’ai particulièrement apprécié le bacon qui était finement croustillant. Les serveurs.euses sont sympathiques et le prix est raisonnable. Que demander de plus ?

Gewoon een leuke kroeg met lekker terras net buiten het superdrukke centrum. Hier kun je de hele dag terecht tot in de late uurtjes. Meerdere malen geweest, maar nog nooit gegeten. Wel prima snacks en aardige bediening

Great falafel sandwich. “The best BLT of my life” according to the teenager in our group. Apple pie was small and untraditional, but tasty. Nice sunny place to sit down after two hours walking around maritime and science museums.

Toller Ort! Essen empfehlenswert! Wir suchten ein gemütliches Plätzchen zum snacken und verweilen und sind mit dem Orloff fündig geworden. Wir kehrten mit 6 Personen (davon 2 Kinder) ein. Fernab von Touri-Hotspots. Überwiegend Einheimische. Service wunderbar! Für uns ein Geheimtipp. Gerne wieder!

Convenient location in the Museum District. Indoor and outdoor seating. Mostly sandwiches on the menu. The seating in the porch area has contactless ordering from your smart phone.

Excellent, friendly service! Unique food! Gezellig atmosphere! They took our group of 7, and the food has a Lebanese flair that was a pleasant surprise! Stay for a drink and to play chess, or to chat on the patio, or for a family meal. Wonderful spot. The flatbread and kapsalon you must try! Reasonable prices, medium sized portions.
