Café Restaurant Camping Zeeburg in Zeeburgereiland/Nieuwe Diep

The restaurant is quite nice and welcoming. They don't have a lot of selection, and the dishes are limited, but still not bad. The service at the bar/cash register was friendly; there was no table service; once your order is ready, you go and pick it up directly from the kitchen.

Vegetarian only, not a very inclusive restaurant. As a former restaurateur, vegetarians forced me to modify my dishes, without meat. Am I allowed to demand ham on my pizza in a vegetarian restaurant??😄😄

Simple menu, great prices just around the corner from Amsterdam.

The food was okay, but too expensive for the price. There's no service; guests take care of everything themselves. I wouldn't eat here again!

Nice restaurant on the campsite. The concept is self-service. You order at the bar and take your drinks to your pitch, and the process is similar for meals. Finally, we cleared our table. Sure, the service is lacking, but on the other hand, you can just leave and not wait for service. The restaurant has a large garden area and several tables inside. The food is vegetarian. Everything is freshly prepared, and you can watch the kitchen. The menu is small but varied. We ate there two evenings in a row and were satisfied. Unfortunately, on the last day, only snacks and pizza were available; the manager was ill, and this unfortunately showed throughout.

Unfortunately, I hadn't checked the website beforehand – vegetarian food is definitely not for my husband. It's not exactly suitable for a camper restaurant either. Nice ambiance for a Tex-Mex restaurant with spare ribs, wings, etc. – but unfortunately, it's not there. The prices are exorbitant, and there's ZERO service (although there are three girls – under 20? – hanging around behind the counter). Order food at the counter (and heaven forbid you stand two meters from the counter), pick up the food yourself (falafel pita for 17 euros!). We were there before 6 p.m., and it was empty. But there's one plus: the fries are really delicious. Still: no service, no tip.

We had the burger with fries for €19.50. Unfortunately, the value for money wasn't right. It was a standard bun and patty with coleslaw from a bucket. Otherwise, nothing special. It's a shame. The atmosphere is quite nice. It's self-service, and the girls at the counter were very friendly.

Very cozy atmosphere, perfect for rainy evenings. The pizzas are very good and very affordable. The menu is written in French :) All dishes are vegetarian, and some are vegan (with "new meat" as a substitute ;) There are games available, and the service is very fast.

We were here over the Halloween weekend and were able to visit the campsite's restaurant on Friday evening. We only had a few drinks, but we were pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of drinks and the friendly and quick service, which we ordered at the bar. The restaurant was filled with the aroma of cooking, and the quality was almost food-like, but then you are on a campsite. The restaurant was supposed to be open on Saturday (only on weekends during the off-season), but then closed at short notice. For this unpredictability, we lose one star.

As locals we like to come here in the summer after a bike ride to have a drink and some snacks. Good atmosphere and gives you a bit of a “holiday feeling” within the city.

Very nice with a great atmosphere. The bar is friendly with good food. It's a shame the staff led us on a wild goose chase by changing our accommodations twice in a row. We waited a whole morning (for nothing since it wasn't ready yet) for the new accommodation... considering we were only there for a weekend, it wasted half a day.

Sorry, but that's really nothing...you're just glad to get out as quickly as possible. It's worse than a cafeteria, and when you look into the kitchen, you know why nothing clever comes out...once and never again.

Unfortunately not as before. Back then you could have a nice and pleasant meal there. Now....pizzas and burgers. Self-service instead of table service. Called in advance. Were gluten free options. But the only meal (currie) was already gone. The falafel salad was supposed to still be there, but when ordered it turned out to be gone. Arugula salad could have been plain arugula with way too much vinegar for my taste. The fries were tasty and so were the nachos. Nice wine. Sitting was also no longer very comfortable and there were far fewer seats than before. The ladies were very friendly, but they also found it annoying.

The outdoor seating area was only cleaned after request and then only half-heartedly. Very high prices for self-service. The restaurant is also only open Thursday to Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. There is room for improvement here.

Cold kebab in the pita bread, severe cut on the vegetables in the curry and not very good tasting food in relation to the price

They selling Kebab with Bacon, the meat was very hard we couldnt eat it, after that te tried the Nacho Cheese, this was terrible ! The Cheese was hard and you couldnt ear it because it was hard like a brick, and for that we had to pay 30€!!!

Very Too much pepper on pizza. Very crunchy, not soft padding. Don’t give sauces. Cheap but not tasty

I've come here many times over the years and can safely say that if you want a quality meal then this is the place to go. There's so much to try out and they have always impressed me. I do like that in the winter they do have a firepit which is lovely and it makes for a nice meal inside away from the cold. I've had their breakfast too and it's nice it's like a buffet style and the staff are always so kind and friendly. They have evening entertainment at times and I've enjoyed that too.

Eine Lokalität wie ich sie auf einem Campingplatz nicht erwartet hätte. Sehr einladend und mit überaus viel Charme, einem nettem Team und einer großen Bar. Hightlight die die Einrichtung mit einem riesigen Kronleuchter in der mitte. Getränke und Essen waren Gut.

Ich dachte, gehe ich halt mit Kollegen eben dort was essen.... Erwartungen waren gering. Das Essen ist WOW! Für mich als Vegetarier ein Traum und selbst für den Rest eine Mengen leckere Erfahrungen.

Echt super gegeten met 13 personen! Leuk en vlot personeel. De vegetarische kebab is een aanrader!

Kein Service am Tisch. Abräumen muss man selber. Auch das von den Leuten die vorher am Tisch waren und das Prinzip nicht verstanden haben. Daher leider Abzug im Service.

Die location ist sehr schön, aber das Essen war leider nicht überzeugend. Die Pizza war gut, das Kebab und der Salat waren zu teuer und auch geschmacklich haben sie nicht überzeugt. Selbstbedienung naja, zwischendurch konnte man 15 Minuten nicht bestellen, obwohl das Service Personal vor Ort war.

Es ist ja ein schönes Lokal, aber das war es auch schon. Ein Stern Abzug wegen dem Selbstbedienungskonzept. Das gibts doch nur an der Autobahn, unterirdisch. Und dann die unqualifizierten jugendlichen Kellner. Bis hin zu der unfreundlichen Oma, welche dann immerhin die leeren Gläser abräumt. Das Essen… konzeptloses Wirrwarr von Thai Curry bis Kebap. Wir hatten drei verschiedene Gerichte. Und weder die Pizza war gut, noch der 17€ Salat. Das dritte war naja. Da kann man maximal ein Bier trinken, das wars aber auch.

Essen war sehr lecker. Leider hat das Restaurant nur Donnerstag bis Sonntag geöffnet.

Tolles Restaurant und ein super Anlaufpunkt nach einem Tag in der Stadt. Getränke waren super und Mitarbeiter nett, zum Essen können wir nichts sagen, aber die Pommes auf den Tellern der anderen sahen super lecker aus.

Netter Aufenthalt am Abend. Sehr nettes Personal. Haben dort nur was getrunken. Essen hat uns nicht so angesprochen.

Onverwachts super lekker gegeten. De opmaak van de borden ook erg leuk. Zelfs de kinderborden waren creatief opgemaakt. 100% aanrader.

Fast and pleasant service and delicious food! Was a bit worried due to other reviews but was totally convinced once I’d tried! I had Spare Ribs which were very tender and delicious 🤩 the chocolate mousse was great as well. Totally recommend this restaurant! ✅

I have stayed in camping zeeburg many times and the one really good thing was breakfast in the restaurant every morning. In 2019 there was breakfast and now in 22 there is not?? It was a beautiful continental breakfast every morning and now just the stuff in the camp shop which I am not critical about. As a matter of fact, they now do not open the restaurant at all on a Tuesday and Wednesday. When we were sitting nearby we could see so many hungry people checking if it was open ?? In my opinion this has ruined camping in zeeburg for me now.

Always a fan of the environment here on a warm summer night. The menu is simple and small, with everything done right. The costs are not bad either. Staff might have been a little overworked and we occasionally struggled to get their attention.
