A cozy café in the city centre of Woerden. We had a beertasting here from Bierloods22 (neighbours). Would visit this place again, as they have lot’s of things on their menu and they’re really friendly.

I was a bit disappointed thinking about past atmosphere. has lost a bit of its shine.

Great little bar, quiet on a Friday evening. Warm service, tasty garlic spareribs - really well prepared and reasonably priced.

Had a beer tasting. Nice tent. Only had snacks and they were fine.

A time capsule, De Reehorst? I have doubts. The interior is classic and no-nonsense. Here you 'are' with your friend(s), without hyped style things and frills. Talk to each other again and eat an old-fashioned hearty meal; or unashamedly bring back your good memories with one of the pancake varieties. You can also make De Reehorst an outing with your children and let them go on an adventure with 26 different types of toasted sandwiches. Time has stood still here for a while, yes, but that is also a relief these days. Sit back with a beer or wine and enjoy the 'Neiges d' Antan'. Mrs. and Mr. Van Breenen are working hard to get it done.

The decor is simple, but the food is prepared with attention. The soup is home-made and you can taste it. Tomato soup is highly recommended. Steak was slightly less well done than desired, but those are details. Service nice. Simple and tasty food.

Nice service, but 2 croquettes, 2 white sandwiches, 4 bags of mustard and 2 tubs of butter on a plate without any further decoration is quite expensive for 8.50...

Hospitable staff, they are very nice people. They are always up for a nice conversation. Delicious food, great value for money (large portions). De Reehorst has an extensive menu. Nicely located in the center of Woerden and easily accessible. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful lunch with our family in De Reehorst on New Year's Day. We had already heard good stories about it and were still curious. We immediately felt at home because of the warm welcome we received. The service was super friendly and just had a nice chat with us. We will definitely come back, even if we have to drive an hour to get there. RECOMMENDED!!

Nice cozy brown with a surprisingly good dinner menu! Had a bite from the menu during schnitzel evening on Saturday, October 26, at the end of the Woerdende Holiday Week. Delicious steak & tournedos, good dessert. Unfortunately, the staff behind the bar was too busy with other things. So the glasses remained empty. One was killed, out of politeness I asked for a dustpan and dustpan, which I got. I would have cleaned up for the guest as a waiter. Room for improvement, but nice tent.

''The Living Room of Woerden'' is the catchy slogan on their website. And in our opinion that is completely correct. Very friendly staff in a homely atmosphere, we immediately felt welcome, even among the other guests, some of whom had clearly been before. And the staff clearly showed their interest in this with a friendly chat that went beyond ''Did it taste good? Would you like something more to drink?''. A bit of history about the Reehorst can be found in the menu and a nice bit of information about the restaurant, which appears to have been in the family for generations. The owners can also be found on the work floor and give us the idea that they are very involved with the business and their customers. The food itself was beyond our expectations! The starters were tasty (Homemade tomato soup and mussels). For the main course we had the spare ribs and the farmer's schnitzel. For someone who has had spare ribs in Scheveningen and the The Hague region, these were perhaps the best I have had. Wonderfully tender and almost fell off the bone just by looking at it. Tasty, the sauce was practically unnecessary. For those who like a nice beer with dinner, the menu gives a number of suggestions for special beers. It is clear that the tasters know what they are talking about. We had a nice drink at the inviting bar and received a healthy dose of humor from the staff. Truly the living room of Woerden. They have special promotions from time to time, we will go back in October to try the unlimited mussels!

It was always warm and cozy at the Reehorst in Woerden. Not this time... We were 5 people for lunch and were allowed to sit at a 4-person table. A bit tight... It took 40 minutes before we received our order. Way too long... The food tasted good that was it. For now this is the last time I have been there.

Always super fun! Welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Delicious sandwiches and pancakes!

Gewoon zoals eten bij goede vrienden: smakelijk, voedzaam en goed klaargemaakt. Simpel eten (vlees, groente, iets van aardappel/rijst/pasta), wie wil dat niet op z'n tijd? Je voelt je er welkom, zeker als vaste gast.

Excellent food, excellent service in a small family-run restaurant. Favored by locals and with a warm atmosphere. I had the house omelet and my friend had the veal in sauce. A great little place.

After years, still the same pub, still cozy and still nicely decorated. Just a pity that the pancake was not completely cooked. You used to be able to eat delicious pancakes there, but not anymore!

Nice and cozy cafe, where there is also a children's corner for the little ones. The menu is extensive enough and for small appetites you can order different types of sandwiches, such as the sandwich with bitterbal or the sandwich with peanut butter and banana. The home-made coffee is especially recommended.
