I ordered a medium well steak. The server brought me a steak that was rare. He took it back for correction. The second time the steak was medium rare. I informed the server that the steak was still incorrect, and he caught an attitude and wanted to debate with me. My dad was a chef so I am full aware of what medium well steaks look like. The third time it was done properly. I had to pray over my food to ensure it wasn't poisoned!

Ordered a voucher via Groupon for a 4-course menu including wine, stone grill with steak. Upon arrival, we were told that the stone grill was no longer available and that this had been passed on to Groupon 😱 but it is still listed online! When we arrived, we could choose from a 4-course menu: tomato soup, bread with dip, an Angus burger that was so dry I didn't eat it, and dessert🤣 tiramisu was dry cake with some chocolate powder on top. And we just had to pay for the wine. Sorry, never again😭😭😭

Had a fantastic evening at Morlang in Amsterdam a few days ago! The highlight of the night was definitely the live band — the atmosphere was incredible, and the music made the whole experience feel extra special. The band was amazing, the vibe was lively, and it was the perfect combination of great music, delicious food, and a beautiful canal-side setting. Everything from the drinks to the service added to the experience. Definitely had to post this video. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for a great night out with good food, cocktails, and live entertainment. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We often had good meals here years ago. This time, however, it was a bit disappointing. The club sandwich was very simple. The bread wasn't tasty. The fries were good, though. There were just so many of them that it was more like fries with a club sandwich than the other way around.

A must-visit spot just steps from the Keizersgracht canal. Its cuisine is exquisite, the staff is incredibly friendly, and it boasts a beautiful waterfront terrace—perfect for a relaxing break in the city's warm and inviting atmosphere.

They took 15 minutes before taking our order. When they came to our table they were anything but friendly or nice. When they brought the drinks it turned out they made a mistake with the other, that can happen of course. But when we asked for the bill they gave the one with the error. We had to correct them and the guy started sighting. When he presented the bill I added no tip. The guy didn’t say anything anymore after that, didn’t say goodbye or thank you…. This is clearly a tourist spot where they give 0 shits about hospitality.

İ planned a dinner here for my visit to amsterdam with my girlfriend. Morlang really satisfied our expectations. First of all, the canal-side table granted an amazing atmosphere. Food really surpassed my expectations. The spagetthi carbonara and the Cafe de paris Ribeye were both amazing. We also had the ceaser salad to share, it was a little dry but the steak made up for it. The staff were really kind too. Great place for a romantic dinner or a meetup with meat enjoyer buddies.

During an evening stroll through Amsterdam, we stumbled upon the restaurant, which filled up as the evening progressed. We were served quickly and enjoyed a delicious meal at reasonable prices.

It’s a tourist restaurant what can I say. It’s overpriced but has a nice view. If you’re thinking about eating in this restaurant; search for a different spot it’s just not worth the money in my opinion (the food was okay)

Fantastic Caesar salad! I ate a Caesar salad here yesterday and it was really delicious. A big plus: it contained plenty of tender, well-roasted chicken, which makes the salad wonderfully filling. The only minor downside was the egg; unfortunately, it was cooked just a little too long and already had a slight green rim. Two minutes less would have made the egg perfectly soft and creamy. But despite that, this is absolutely a super good salad and highly recommended. I will definitely be back here again!

Had dinner with my friends and the atmosphere was pleasant the prices of the food was fare because they come In good portions the ribs are so nice I would come back to eat more.

The food wasn't good value for money. The "medium" steak was quite well-done and very small. The pasta for €20 was average. We waited almost 60 minutes for our food. The service was attentive, friendly, and helpful, which was great, but the drinks also took a long time. The ambiance was quite nice.

Julien was lovely from the beginning of our arrival to the service to the whole experience. He made sure to get a table for us, even though it was so busy. He was lovely. He was accommodating. We will definitely be back. The food was great and there was another gentleman with him that it was really lovely as well.

I found the atmosphere pleasant, but the food is really terrible. Absolutely not recommended.

The terrace was lovely, but the service somewhat spoiled our experience. The servers weren't friendly or welcoming, and the three iced lattes we ordered had nothing in common (one glass without ice, another with milk and syrup, and another with just coffee). As for the cold drinks (iced tea, Pepsi), for just over €4 you only get a single glass, not even a 33cl bottle. We don't recommend it!

I visited this restaurant three times during my stay in Amsterdam. We sat inside once and outside on the canal twice. Fantastic location! Friendly staff! Delicious food at good prices.

Even though the weather was very hot, the service remained friendly and helpful. Truly amazing. Also, a special mention goes to the fact that the fries are deliciously crispy and of good quality. You quickly strike up a conversation with the other guests on the terrace, but it isn't necessary. Open atmosphere. We left feeling fulfilled, happy, and satisfied.

Nice place, but the food was really ridiculous. We had the loaded fries, which were served plain with some grated cheese and dry pieces of bacon.

We stopped here to eat and the food was lovely! I had the vegan burger which was yummy. However we had an issue with the customer service. We ordered some tap water for the table along some sodas and our food. The water was completely forgotten, this is okay and humaine, happens to everyone :) What happened next was then a bit wild. We kindly asked another waiter (since the one who took our order was busy) if we could have some tap water alongside our food which had already arrived. The server responded saying of course that they would bring it right away. After that we thought that the water would arrive since it was not so busy in the restaurant. The server who we had asked earlier to bring us some water seemed to be doing something else, but not with any customers, just wiping some tables so we tried to ask again. However the server cut us off by saying ”I will bring the water just wait a second, Jesus Christ” with a very agressive tone. We tried to apologize if we upset them and tried to explain that we ordered the water a long time ago when we first placed our order and that is why we were asking about it. The server started getting the glasses by slamming them on the counter as if making a statement of some sort. This made our group very uneasy. The server went on about us being so impatient and made very clear by saying out loud to us that ”ordering tap water is last on their priority list of things to do around here”. This made me want to leave instantly, since we were sitting there eating our food and drinking our drinks which were not free in any way. However this server made it very clear that we were not welcomed in this restaurant. We ate our food with a dark cloud hovering above our table since this encounter and left with a bad feeling for the rest of the day. Really a shame, because the burger was good! And I fully understand that sometimes restaurants get busy and things are forgotten, but this case just felt like we were not wanted diners in this restaurant.

The waiters make absolutely no effort to provide good service. The food takes forever to arrive, with good ingredients but a chef who clearly doesn't know how to cook, and the wine is very mediocre. Finally, far too expensive for the level of service.

- we had made a reservation, but they didn't have a decent table left for us on the terrace, so we were seated against the bicycle rack. - treated unkindly because we had an empty seat at the table since someone was arriving later. The problem was that the restaurant itself did not have enough chairs to cover the outdoor terrace. - waited an hour for a sharing platter (which subsequently consisted only of fried snacks). - followed by another hour's wait for the order of 4 hamburgers (nothing special and cheese not melted).

This place has gone downhill fast. Bizarrely bad staff and mediocre food. Waited an hour and a half for a soggy sandwich. Had to ask for a napkin 3 times.

Such a wonderful little find in the middle of Amsterdam. Great vibes, amazing staff and wonderful food and drinks. Ambience: (5/5) There is a wide range of seating both inside and out. I love the outdoor seating right next to the canal and it is perfect for those warm sunny days. The indoor seating is also very cozy. Food and Drinks: (5/5) I find that the selection of food is great here. You can have your typical bar snacks but also a proper meal if you so desire. The quality of the ingredients and flavours are great and the food also arrived quite quickly for us. Staff: (5/5) I have to especially say that Helen was amazing. I have been to this place multiple times and love that they always remember you. Helen waited our table on multiple different visits and have to say the genuine care and concern the staff have is so different to many other places in Amsterdam. Summary: (5/5) One of my favourite places to just visit if I am looking for a coffee or just a quick catch up for drinks with friends in the middle of the city. See you all soon!

After waiting 20 minutes for a table with my girlfriend, we were very disappointed to see a group of four, who had just arrived, seated first thanks to the merging of two tables. We understand the organizational constraints, but this situation seemed unfair and, above all, disrespectful of our wait.

The falafel bowl had too much sauce and was otherwise quite uninspired and not that tasty because of that.

Unprofessional handling after spilling fries 5. No form of compensation offered We had a very disappointing experience. The service left much to be desired. It took about an hour before our food was served, during which time part of our party had already finished their dishes before the rest were even served. Additionally, our dishes stood outside in the cold wind for a considerable time—an estimated five minutes—before they were brought to our table. To make matters worse, the waiter spilled a portion of fries all over me. The way this was handled was particularly unprofessional; it seemed as if offering new fries was presented as a favor. Moreover, we were expected to pick up the fries from the floor ourselves, which is absolutely unacceptable. At no point was any form of compensation offered. Given the price of approximately €25 for a burger, one may expect significantly better service. Service is clearly being paid for, but it was completely lacking.

This place was incredible. Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful interior. The food is delicious, you must try the soup. They are hospitable with great service. The music is lovely - jazz ambience. It's honestly a place you have to see. The view is amazing. The bar is wonderful. The food is filling and varied. Everyone will find something they love. You need to check it out.
