Delicious New Year's meal! Meat and fish cooked by hand on a lava stone 😍 No kids' menu, but a dish shared between two 👍🏼 It was really cold in the basement 😬

Cozy cafe restaurant now inside, and in the summer, enjoy the terrace and watch the passing sails. Good service. Cozy tables with plenty of privacy.

This place was incredible. Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful interior. The food is delicious, you must try the soup. They are hospitable with great service. The music is lovely - jazz ambience. It's honestly a place you have to see. The view is amazing. The bar is wonderful. The food is filling and varied. Everyone will find something they love. You need to check it out.

I found the concept a bit odd: you get raw meat that you have to cook yourself on a stone slab. You're essentially paying around €27 for three containers of sauce and raw meat without spices. You're essentially paying to cook it yourself, not by a professional chef. I did enjoy the atmosphere, and the staff was really friendly and welcoming! Excellent service.

I had a wonderful experience at Morlang in the heart of Amsterdam! The stone grill concept is really fun—you can prepare your meat or salmon at your table, exactly how you like it. The food was fresh and delicious, and the friendly staff made the evening even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with friends or a cozy dinner. Definitely recommended!

The Iron Flame Steak was such a cool experience, It’s served raw, and they bring a hot iron stone grill on the side so you can cook it just the way you like. The sizzling sound and aroma make it even better. The terrace view was lovely too, a perfect spot to relax, enjoy good food, and have a unique dining experience. Definitely worth trying and lastly can’t forget about the Salmone Pasta, an absolute perfection.

We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, the service was also very nice. There was a bit of chaos with one dish though: the wrong kind of pasta and served too early (together with the starter course) but no drama. “the Fork” Discount also worked perfectly. Can absolutely recommend!

We were in Amsterdam for five days and although there are so many restaurants, we came here twice. The atmosphere is great for a cozy dinner or to come with friends. The food was very good. We ordered the Tender Kiss which is a filet mignon. They brought us a lava stone and we cooked our own dinner. It was a different experience and it was great. They also provided several sauces to enjoy. Great place!! Highly recommend!!

I came here with friends, but it wasn't good at all. The service was terrible; they forgot my plate and even my cutlery even though I asked for them. The fondue tasted like powdered cheese, very runny, terrible. And the place was incredibly expensive.

At Morlang Café, the food was good and the waiter who first took our order was polite. However, when it came time to pay, the waitress inside was extremely rude, telling us to go downstairs in a very unpleasant way. She didn’t even look at us while talking and clearly doesn’t know how to speak to customers. Another waitress also spoke rudely to me for no reason, asking me to move when I was already standing aside without disturbing anyone. Those two especially need proper training in hospitality they should know how to treat customers with respect.😊

Average food, price point a bit high for the área and bitterballen were really dissapointing. Service was not attentive at all and got confused with drinks and order twice.

I had arranged to meet a Breeze date here. It was over 30 degrees Celsius that day, and we wanted to have our drinks outside. Unfortunately, that wasn't allowed because our Breeze drinks could only be served inside – otherwise, they wouldn't "make any money from it." That felt a bit lame. On the terrace afterward, the service was also a bit disappointing: not very attentive or friendly. It's a shame, because the location itself is fine. Personally, I wouldn't return.

Horrible food. I asked for the meat platter, but I got a small portion of fillet that looked boiled, half of a small ribeye with unrendered fat, and a portion of reheated BBQ ribs that were probably a week old. The waitress promised us a big discount and admitted the food was bad, but when we asked for the check, another waitress came and said she didn’t know anything about the discount.

The worst breakfast in Amsterdam. If you're hungry just skip it, otherwise you'll get slow staff and horrible food.

The food looked very promising at first glance and tasted good so far. However, I should note that the penne aglio was unexpectedly spicy, which is a matter of taste. Now, let me get to the highlight of the experience, and I mean that in a negative sense. When I went to use the restroom, it was occupied. The man who was using it then met me and walked straight past the sink and into the restaurant's kitchen, which was at the end of the corridor. It's a shame, because the rest of the service was very friendly and good. Therefore, only two measly stars for service. I now deeply regret the food that is now in my stomach. Despite the wonderful ambiance on the canal, I can unfortunately only give it 3 stars overall. 😐

I had bitterballen and a sandwich. The portions were large and good value. The flat white came in a big cup so I could drink a lot of it. It's along the canal so I recommend going outside on a nice day.

Superb canalside restaurant, very welcoming with a great atmosphere, the staff is lovely and some of the waiters even speak French. The dishes are generous, the food is excellent and of very good quality. I highly recommend this place.

The falafel bowl was crispy and delicious, the cheese sticks were gooey perfection, and the Pornstar Martini was spot-on—fruity, fun, and beautifully made. The place is nice, next to a canal but the service was bad. I asked for a glass of tap water while my partner ordered food and a beer and they refused me the tap water. Additionally when we ate the wings, some were cold from the inside near the bone. We ate the rest and let the waitress know who was very rude and said that’s impossible.
