It is a little pricey but everything in amsterdam is.. But the quality?! It's top tier!! Every drink is made as i Imagined it to be perfectly as well as snacks! Reccomend it!

Horrible comida y servicio horrible. Pedimos bebidas y pedimos menú, la bebida tenía flotadores en ella, solo un ron y coca. Luego pedí filete medio bien, salió crudo, no cocido en absoluto. La camarera no vino en absoluto, solo habló con sus amigos. No ciña su tiempo o dinero.

Thank you for adapting your menu to accommodate my gluten free (Coeliac) dietary needs. I enjoyed the delicious steak with salad and baby potatoes (fries are from a shared fryer) so much I came back 2 days later and was welcomed back.

If you are in the area, have a nice lunch in this nice old Amsterdam café. The menu is small but has a lot of variety. That's why it's difficult to choose. Also a wide range of vegetarian dishes. Wonderfully cozy and pleasant atmosphere. Conveniently close to Fabriques des Lumierers. That's how we ended up there.

Agressieve locatie, vernederend, minachtend, het personeel geen vriendelijkheid & optimisme, geen nieuwsgierigheid of empathische vermogen, geen zelfbewustzijn integriteit & geen vertrouwen. Hun werkethiek is reden voor grote zorg in de buurt.

Delicious food, simple in name and presentation, but really tasty. Perfect medium rare steak, perfectly warm and tender, salad with delicious fresh tomatoes and well-balanced dressing. Chocolate cake was perfect dessert, light, creamy and perfect base. Atmosphere was pleasant, a bit brown with relaxed music.

We went in spontaneously on a Sunday without reservation and got a table. Staff was friendly and allowed us to be there after lunch for a while having a chat while still serving us water. Food was good and fast service. Good place to have a bit and a coffee.

Goede sfeer en lekker zonnig terras. Helaas oude kaarten met oude prijzen waardoor de rekening hoger is dan verwacht. Wanneer je dit aankaart geven ze voor 1 product het verschil terug...

Prima locatie en bediening. Eten is erg duur. Simpele hamburger (wel lekker) zonder iets erbij 12,50. Bacon of kaas moet je extra betalen. Brood BLT met extra kip, paar stukjes kip voor €3 extra. Was vooral ijsberg sla. 1 portie friet erbij besteld. Prijs kwaliteit staat niet in verhouding.

Z’n naam ontleent dit cafe aan een pleintje waar de tram overheen rijdt, aan de oorspronkelijke huisvesting van een De Gruiter kruideniers winkel. Mooie gevel, maar binnen niets van terug te vinden. Wij borrelden er een uurtje op het terras met sober meubilair. De calamaris waren goed gefrituurd, maar matig door hun zachte binnenkant. Ik vond de prijs/kwaliteit van het geheel aan de hoge kant.

I was on my way to the Unseen photo fair in Westerpark - when I passed by the cafe on a sunny Saturday at lunch time. I decided to have lunch there in the sun and it was a good decision. Good food, friendly athmosphere, very good service. Seemed local - people passing by for coffee after a run in the nearby park - recommendable.

Het terras is echt de hele dag in de zon; heerlijk. En op een mooie plek waar veel mensen voorbijkomen maar waar je niet op een druk verkeerspunt zit. Met de bediening moet je het wel treffen. Soms heel goed, maar ook meerdere keren gehad dat het veel tijd een moeite kostte de aandacht te krijgen om wat te bestellen. En dat terwijl de bediening het niet heel druk had en tijd genoeg had met vrienden op het terras te chillen. Of net na tien uur geen zin meer om koffie (met cognac) te maken terwijl het café nog lang niet dicht en rustig is. Fijne plek dus, maar je moet het wel treffen met de bediening...
