Café 't Podium Shane in Nieuwe Pijp

Went there yesterday, nice atmosphere and nice people

My friend and I went out for a beer after dinner. Since we weren’t familiar with the area, we just walked into a pub nearby. As soon as we entered, a group of people who were playing darts stopped and stared at us. A tall, bald man approached us and rudely asked what we wanted, so we ordered a beer. Everyone in the bar was smoking, so my friend asked the man if smoking was allowed. He replied that it wasn’t, without giving any explanation—despite the fact that at least ten people were smoking. On top of that, he lit a cigarette himself right in front of us. Two women also came in for a beer, but after looking around and sensing the atmosphere, they quickly left. This was one of the most unwelcoming places I’ve ever been to. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Always laughing at the bar with Bar

Small, cozy corner pub, very large selection of spirits, the bartender is very nice and always in a good mood. I have been visiting the Podium for many years and not much has changed 👍 I am looking forward to the next visit

We went there at 30th Oct, a rainy evening, the Miss who sit at reception was really hospitality, gave my wife and me some good advices for exploring Amsterdam; will visit you again in the future

Old-fashioned brown neighborhood pub, don't change a thing!

Gezellig buurtcafe waar goede muziek en een goed glas bier wordt geschonken. (Let op) zijn streng op coronaregels 👍

Cozy, little brown bar opposite de pijp station playing chill tunes. Enjoyed it

Leuk café met leuk en vriendelijk personeel, de barman op vrijdag was leuk en erg vriendelijk dus dames kom gezellig 🥃 doen!!

Geweldige tijd gehad bij 't Podium. Gewoon een 2e huiskamer! Tjip
