A charming, quirky bar where time seems to have stood still, unique in the Damstraatjes! Usually only open on Friday and Saturday evenings. Cash payment is accepted, no debit or credit cards. Limited staff, so often closed due to holidays or illness.

One of the best experiences I’ve had in only two visits to a place. I didn’t get the name of the lady working on Friday/Saturday but she was one of the friendliest and most hilarious people I’ve ever met.

Music too loud, rude waitress, cash only, beer not great.

The waitress was inconsiderate and very inappropriate, she kicked us out of the bar just for asking if they were still making coffee. An unpresentable one.

Very friendly and genuinely interested service! The center piece tap dates from the early 1800s. Definitely worth a visit to wind down from the sensory overload of the area. Only cash no card.

We found this place because we needed to get away from the rain and it turned to be a nice bar in Amsterdam Centrum! I would called a hidden gem, we have been there 3 times more and the bartender is always friendly, they have different kind of beers and fair prices.

Urig, gemütlich und einfach urtypisch. Die Preise passen auch und die Bedienung herrlich unkompliziert. Absoluter Tipp!
