Starbucks in Oude Pijp

Staff makes a wrong drink and argues with you claiming this is what you ordered. Very poor service.

Very clean, friendly service, and close to the tram. Highly recommended.

Big on the posters: the Mango Pearls soft drink. For 6.10 a cup. With indeed mango flavour and pearls exploding in the mouth. Only…. You throw most of them away. There is so much ice in the drink that you can’t catch a pearl with the straw. Or you have to wait half an hour until the excess of ice has melted. My feeling was ‘fraud’. Too bad.

Friendly staff and nice environment

Biggest shoutout to staff member Uriel, who was the kindest of all baristas I have ever encountered to my baby! While there, I witnessed him interact with other customers with utmost patience and kindness. I don’t usually visit Starbucks but this was a great experience. Thank you for treating us so nicely ☺️

Very nice Starbucks to sit down for a while. They are also not difficult if you want to study there. Also received some free sandwiches because of the purchase. Very good service!

Small, only bathroom, service a little slow!

i’m a student here who’s been on exchange for 5 months and absolutely adore the iced caramel macchiato in the netherlands. i’m leaving the country to return home and decided to get my last caramel macchiato here but accidentally ordered a hot caramel macchiato instead of an iced. i then asked the worker to just put some ice in it and not only did she do so she also told me to get back to her after i drank a little so she could top it up with more ice. when i returned to ask for more ice the manager decided to remake the drink into the iced version for me. excellent service and great crew, what a lovely bunch. i’ve never had such great service at a starbucks before, thank you guys

Terrible experience. We went in the afternoon for two drinks, and the waitress informed us they were closing soon, giving us only 20 minutes to finish. Just as our drinks were served, one of the waitresses started shouting and making exaggerated gestures behind the counter. About 30 seconds later, she went from table to table, telling everyone they were kicking us out because they were past closing time and should have closed 20 minutes ago. Extremely poor manners from the staff, which, in my opinion, really damages the brand’s image due to the poor service. I wouldn’t return to a Starbucks, despite usually enjoying it, because of attitudes like this.

Tried several Starbucks the last few days. Only for the wifi. Because it seems Starbucks lost its ability to make a proper cappuchino. Tasteless. Seems like they use half milk or something.

Starbucks is always a good place for having a cup of coffee.

Usual Starbucks experience. However, ordered a frappucino with oat milk. The staff did not indicate that there would be a dairy topping on the drink. After trying the ("oat") drink I noticed that it was not dairy free. So warning to be careful with allergies as staff are not the most cautious with this. Thankfully my allergy is not severe and my drink was replaced but more attention should be paid to this.

This is a good Starbucks. Staff are welcoming and do a good job. I go here regularly.

I recently visited the Starbucks at Ferdinand Bolstraat 45 in Amsterdam and was disappointed by the service. Despite the cold weather, the employee named Angelina insisted on keeping the door wide open, making it uncomfortably chilly inside. Many customers, including myself, expressed our concerns, but our feedback was ignored. This unaccommodating behavior is not what I expect from Starbucks, a brand known for its customer-focused approach. I hope this feedback leads to improved service in the future.

They always close earlier than scheduled. I am not sure if it is the laziness decision from the shop stuff themselves. For example, on this Friday it shows they close at 17:00 but they closed at 14:20 and this is ridiculous .

Great Starbucks, fast service and friendly employees. Too bad: I deliberately placed an order for indoors so as not to have to pay extra plastic tax. We did get the sandwich and cake for consumption in the café, but the coffees came in cups for which we still had to pay extra (see photo). As a result, we didn't get whipped cream with the hot chocolate. The sandwich and cake were very tasty. If you like dark chocolate, the chocolate lovers cake is an absolute must.

Never had coffee here because they are not open during the indicated times or they don’t have what I’d like to order (pumpkin spice latte for example, available in all stores in October, but not here)

This is honestly the worst Starbucks I’ve ever experienced. Burnt sandwich and wrong coffee order. The worst bit was the second I gave them a call the Starbucks worker was absolutely rude and didn’t even care. I’d warn people in advance not to order from them. Can’t wait to leave this country!

Opening hours online indicate the store opens at 7:30 am. Female English-speaking employee indicates that this is not correct and they only start at 9 am. If you want to ask anything else, she irritatedly closes the door in your face, locks it and walks away. Manager is not present to discuss further. Several people stood at the door for nothing, bad thing.

The store wasn't big, but it was nice to be able to rest during the trip.

Says on Google that it opens 7.30am. But I am outside now, its past 8am and its shut.

I think the employee is new. I ordered a soya matcha latte crushed iced and the order took a long time and it became a mess. Otherwise a nice guy. It didn't taste any less.

I regularly visit Starbucks because I can’t drink caffeine due to a medical condition and, unlike some other coffee stores, I can be sure they will have decaf coffee available. I went to the store this morning to order a decaf iced Americano, and due to what I mentioned before, I was extremely clear when I said “decaf” even making a pause in my order, being really careful with the clarity of my words. It’s clear what I got was not decaf because I started feeling terribly bad just minutes after I got the coffee. I always drink decaf coffee, so yes, I can handle the little amount of caffeine that is left there during the decaffeination process. I wanted to leave this review so you know that your carelessness can land someone in the hospital. This is the second time it happens at a Starbucks location in the Netherlands, only that the first time I realized about it in time. I will never ever visit any of your stores again, I had enough.

Amazing Starbucks in Amsterdam. When I went here I had great service, the woman was very kind and helped me out with my order. The sandwich and the pain au chocolat was really good, and so was the Brown sugar shaken espresso coffee that I had. It wasn’t too full either so I could find a seat right away. There are also lots of places to charge your computer or whatever. I felt it was a bit cold when I was there. But I bet that it’s warm during the afternoon when the sun hits the cafe.

Good but slow service, likely because it seemed understaffed. Also gave the place a bit of a messy look and feel.

We loved this branch during our stay in Amsterdam though it was 15 minutes away from Van Gogh Museum.

Understaffed, coffee was average at best… it did not look clean behind the counter. Recommend Starbucks in Zuid station.

Iam in loved with this starbucks branch. My latte with oat milk is always fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff lady which wearing glass, are very nice and kind. Wish to be here again very soon :))

Good attention, very well placed, had a capuccino with a jam/cheese sandwich and a croasant, I liked it.

The drinks are what you'd expect, but they never clean the tables.

Se volete un caffè che si avvicini come sapore (anche lontanamente) a quello italiano, quello di Starbucks è uno dei migliori. Bel locale all'inizio del mercato. Personale cordiale!
