Cafetaria A-Kong in Rotterdam Centrum

Roll Akong (or Kongs Point) is one of my favorite places to eat. I have been coming here since I was a child, first as a little boy at the hand of my father, and before that my father came here with my grandfather. They serve delicious roti, great sandwiches, and the service is always excellent. I hope they open again soon and that everything works out for Ronald and his brother.

As long as it doesn't say 'permanently closed' I keep hope!

I've been coming here since I was a little boy, my father's hand, the first and tastiest pork sandwiches, no big bangs of chemically red 'chuck siu' as is often the case everywhere these days. I just know A-kong as a pork sandwich, unsurpassed. Let's hope they don't call it quits immediately?!

Best sandwiches in Rotterdam!!! I normally come from Antwerp every week for the A-kong sandwiches and the telo/bakkeljauw!! I hope they open again soon!!!

The portion was humongous! The price is light on the pocket. Missing this place!

So many people have been missing the nasi goreng just like me :((. Passing by here just to check if they open, but unfortunately not (yet). The renovation seems stuck. I hope it will be opening soon !

The food is ok. Humongous portions, which is so meaningless. Nobody can eat that much. At least make it clear on the menu that the portions are for two. Food is tasty and staff is nice. They don't take visa so we had to find an ATM.

Heerlijk gegeten en hele vriendelijke mensen. Tjauwmin extra gehaald voor vanavond scheelt weer koken.

Very delicious, recommend all of their food especially nasi moksi & pork dish. The best “nasi goreng” I have ever tasted in The Netherlands.

I am surprised there are not that many reviews on Google for this place. I mean, their chicken fried rice was kinda big deal! Super delicious, big portion, and cheap. Totally worth every penny 👌

Ik heb weer erg lekker gegeten

Vandaag met familie mihoen tjap tjoi kip, en roti mix kip&rund afgehaald. Het eten was heerlijk Het personeel was super vriendelijk. Ze waren zo eerlijk om me te adviseren een portie minder te nemen vanwege de grote van de gerechten voor het aantal personen. Ze zorgen liever voor de klanten dan dat ze zelf meer geld verdienden, respect! En zeker waardering waard :) Hopelijk tot de volgende keer als ik eens in Rotterdam ben. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Been here for ages since I live in Rotterdam. Best fried rice (moksiemeti) for my 'south-east asia' taste with kind portion too gladly. From a student to a mother, whenever i miss home, means time to visit them. Their specialty is chinese-surinam dishes. But since we are culturely closed, i enjoy so much their dishes. Some of them are Bara bread and it's 'sambal' or 'telo' with 'kabeljauw'. But there are much more... Next time I add the picture

Bij Ronald heeeeerlijk Surinaamse bami met gemengd vlees (moksi meti) gegeten! Ik mag niet te veel zout en had ook een voorkeur wat vleessoorten betrof: werd meteen aangepast, helemaal geen probleem! En nog steeds heerlijk! Mijn partner had heerlijke bruine bonen met rundvlees....om je vingers erbij op te eten!Ook zijn sambal is verrukkelijk! Voor de reis terug hebben we heerlijke surinaamse broodjes kipkerrie en warm vlees meegenomen..Wij wonen niet in de Randstad, maar zodra we er weer eens zijn dan komen we graag langs! Dankuwel voor al uw lekkers!

It was a nice meal, although I can't say that I enjoyed it much. Good place to stop by for lunch in the city.

Ik vind de tjauwmin erg lekker en flinke porties. Wel een afhaal zaak ik zou er niet zo snel voor de gezelligheid eten maar om mee te nemen is prima haha

Brodje Akong is the same restaurant with Cafetaria A-kong. It reported as closed in google so I try to take a look this place. It is open for take away or dine in with covid protocol. As always order chicken fried rice, it is undoubtedly delicious.

Big portion, if I order 1 dish I have to share it with a friend to finish it in one meal. Mihoen with cha siew is their best.

The best food I’ve had in the Netherlands. The taste is so genuine. The price is insanely cheap for such a big portion. This is my favorite go-to whenever I come to Rotterdam. Too bad the current crisis makes us stay inside. I really miss the food here. I hope the store is still holding up. I wish they could do deliveryyyy😫

Eerlijk en lekker surinaams eten

Huge portion and so tasty! The chicken and pork moksi meti is so good, crispy. Price is also cheap and easily accessible location. I usually will eat here whenever I am in Rotterdam, shouldn't be missed definitely.
