Delicious food today. Salty amsoi with salt meat and smoked chicken and as an extra fried cod moksi alesi. I was sold. Highly recommended.

My uncle bought food there and got seriously ill! Then my daughter ordered food today that smelled sour. You're just throwing your hat in the ring! It's a shame about Surinamese cuisine! And the bad thing is that you're just selling spoiled food! I'm going to contact them personally because this is simply not acceptable. Can't you cook? Then leave it alone! Why not make everything fresh and keep it clean? It's completely over.

Very generous portions! I always enjoy it when next to the great food, there is a person giving good energy to the costumers too. This man will pack you a food box with so much care, you will feel like it’s your relative.. bless!

Exceptional and unique in Rotterdam and/or in my opinion. We love coming here, especially because owner Edgar is a very nice and attentive man and makes delicious dishes. In addition, there is always a very nice atmosphere in the store and we often have nice contact with other (regular) customers. O'fa deserves my warm recommendation

DELICIOUS!! This is real Surinamese 'home-style' cooking. Every day a different selection of tasty Surinamese dishes, including Alle Chondre soup, bakkeljouw moksi alesi, sopropro, fried fish, pom, and griti bana soup. Generous portions and a delicious taste. is a bit of a drive for us (and we live far outside their delivery area), so when we go we always take several dishes with us. After all, it tastes just as good the next day! Note: O'Fa is a takeaway restaurant: they have no tables. The atmosphere is therefore not very luxurious: just a small waiting room with a counter. Always have a nice chat with staff or other customers!

Amazing food and friendly owner/chèf who goes above and beyond! We are travelling around and wanted to try authentic Surinam cuisine. The reviews were very promising so we thought we would go in and ask which dishes would be recommended for us. The chèf asked if we ate meat, whether we liked certain flavours etc. and went into the kitchen to surprise us with our dinner. He came out with (7!!!) take away containers filled with different dishes and explained what each dish was. This food was delicious, beautifully flavoured and you can tell it was made with love. Very reasonably priced, will definitely be back when we are in the country again!

Delicious Creole Surinamese food. I chose bakkeljauw moksi alesi. It was delicious with ochre, piece of fried banana, cucumber and spicy piccalilli, next time I will go for the rice pom.

I picked up Surinamese food here to eat it with the Surinamese mother of my childhood friend. She lives in Overschie, so it was perfectly doable. Pick up food and cycle to Overschie in 15 minutes. Since the names of the dishes mean nothing to me, she was allowed to indicate what she wanted to eat.

Jaren lang gezocht naar authentiek Surinaams eten niet zoals wat die chinezen maken pom Sander de echte Surinaamse smaak! Dit is de plek waar je eten gaat vinden zoals grootmoeder het maakte fantastisch fantastisch fantastisch fantastisch en die man is super vriendelijk speciale rij ik bijna elke week sinds enkele weken wekelijks 80 km op en neer voor dit voortreffelijk eten. Als je de gretie bana soep proef, ben je verkocht ! Dan proef ik de soep van mijn oma Willy. Authentieke Surinaamse smaken, al de gerechten. Blij met dit afhaalrestaurant.

Heerlijk authentiek Surinaams eten, ik ben zelf Surinaams en het smaakte alsof mijn oma/moeder het had klaargemaakt. De man die er werkt is ook zeer vriendelijk! Ik ga hier zeker vaker wat halen.

Heerlijk eten voor een eerlijke prijs. Erg gastvriendelijke mensen. De bruine bonen zijn echt een aanrader, heerlijk. Vandaag was de eerste keer maar ik ga daar zeker meer eten halen.

Alle klassiekers uit de Surinaams Creoolse keuken te vinden: rijst pom, grit'bana soep, rijst met bruine bone (BB met R), okersoep en nog veel meer.

Afgelopen week hier voor het eerst eten afgehaald. Er is een beperkte menukaart die dagelijks wisselt. Ik bestelde twee kipgerechten met rijst waarbij ik zelf een keuze kon maken uit een drietal verschillende groentegerechten. Het eten is me goed bevallen. Alles wordt ter plekke vers gemaakt en smaakt goed. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

I ordered boulanger and moksa alesi and I was pleasantly suprised with the authentic taste. the portions were generous enough for 2, they were also not stingy with meat which I liked. A very friendly woman took my order and it was ready quite quickly. They have daily specials which they post on FB which is ideal for a busy person like me. I would highly recommend this place if you like Surinamese (creole) food.
