Lekker Suriname - Switi Sranan in Rotterdam Centrum

Good food for a good price. Lots of choice.

I regularly order food from Switi Sranang and I am always satisfied with the food and so are my guests. There is a very wide choice of dishes and snacks. The food is really switi and fresh. I recommend the nasi and bami with roasted chicken, fashong (chicken) and the tuna patties. There is something for everyone. In the store they help customers by means of numbers, so that no one can push forward and it does not become chaotic.

A little bit of Surinam in the heart of Rotterdam. Excellent lunch spot, the service is great, expect to be treated the way you come in.... Bring respect and expect a great eat out experience. They also have catering service where you can order food for larger groups. The food omg the food, it is traditional surinamese dishes but with the home cooking vibe. I highly recommend!✊🏿🦊

Yesterday we bought a party box tjauw min for my son. This was only 65 euros and more than worth the money. It was intensely delicious! We will order here for every party from now on.

The telo/cassava with teri is divine here. Liver and or cod sandwiches are also delicious. Is located in the middle of Kruiskade easy to walk to from cs. Recommended

Unfortunately, halal is not halal here. “Halal” chicken is fried here in the same pan as the pork. When you explain that this is not allowed for us Muslims, you laughingly indicate that no shop has a special pan for this.

Surinamese food is simply enjoyable—Switi Sranan! The flavors, the spices, everything is just on point. Roti with chicken curry and long beans, pom, cod with cassava, or a good chicken soy sauce sandwich... all great! And then add those tasty drinks, such as dawet or ginger beer. Surinamese cuisine simply has everything: spicy, savory, sweet—a real taste explosion. What is your ultimate favorite Surinamese dish?

Ordered food here several times for birthdays. Everything was well organised, picked up warm so it could go straight into the warmer. I always placed my orders by telephone and paid for them neatly and handled by a very nice gentleman. And as always, the food was great! I usually order Nassi moksi, noodles and always extra pork separately. Next birthday is coming up again and of course I will place my order here again!

Delicious food. Just a shame they close so early. I'm usually done at 6 p.m., but it's already closed by then. Could you possibly stay open until 7 or 8 p.m.?

Food was delicious We enjoyed the timpe, bamie, nasi and pom again. Only there was so little (that's why it's all so tasty) But hdt was TOP. Until next time😋😋😋

I regularly get food from Switi Sranang and I am always impressed by the wide choice. The food is fresh and always well prepared. What I really like are the many variations and combinations you can make. Always delicious and highly recommended for anyone who loves good Surinamese food!

I came for a tasty lunch of nasi with ocher and chicken piece that was heated up in the microwave. Well, nice, slimy ocher! A waste of my money

great place...but if you are on Kruiskade it is better to get your sandwich from the real Surinamese than here where there is more mass and fast. Better go to the real one 4 doors further :)

Delicious spicy dishes. I'm just wondering that if you order 2 of the same sandwiches, you get one first and then the 2nd one is started. Enough space to prepare two next to each other.🤔

Bought food. 2 of mine were left behind. Including a container with 19 pieces of shrimp, and a container with 4 pieces of sausage. I call politely to tell them they stayed there and the time. Day 1 is already a disaster because you are not helped by telephone and you have to explicitly indicate that you have really left it behind. Bought almost 80 euros worth of food. Of which almost 40 are left behind. From day 1 I have been sent from pillar to post. Today I call again, they say that is not the case and on camera images they see that I took them with me. While I indicate that it is not the case. You pay for something that you don't get. Never again for me. And judging by the reviews, I'm not the only one this has happened to😫

I come there quite often and have tried many things, just delicious. Really authentic Surinamese. And.... service is with a smile... also nice of course!

Super tasty sandwiches, pasties

I have now bought food twice because I like to take hot food to work. 1 x tjauw mein and this time masoesalesie. For €8.50 it is certainly doable, I have food for 2 days and it is tasty. The sambal you get with it tastes good. The only downside for me is that you cannot buy the real Surinamese Creole chicken. So I have to make that myself. But otherwise nothing to complain about, lots of choice and friendly staff. You have to try The fashong 😋😋.

Neat clean store. Have now had sandwiches and bara for lunch. It was takeaway, so there wasn't much to write about the store itself. Looked clean and fresh. Parking is a pain but where not in the city.... Sandwiches were tasty. A bit of spice and flavor. I love it. I had a very tasty meal. To be repeated

I got food there for 40 people Nasi and Tjauwmin. Both in a box that you also receive your breakfast in the morning. Apart from that. Ask the person, children go to dinner at 3:00 PM adults later staff indicates 1:30 pm and warm pick up. Where I said cold but yes advice from them. Then children go to eat at 3:00 PM, 4 children and there is no plate in refrigerator to reduce the food. 7:00 PM we handed out the nasi and the tjauwin had already gone sour. I will call them on Monday after the second conversation, we are not responsible if they are away from us. While I wanted to take it cold with me, no. But the children eat at 3:00 PM, then it is better to bring them warm, sir, but you are not responsible, right!!!

Heerlijk Surinaams eten. Vooral de groentes zijn heelijk. Met wat minder zout zou het nog lekkerder zijn. Maar ik heb gesmuld.

Ja mang, Surinaams eten is niet vanzelfsprekend meer tegenwoordig. Maar hier proef ik de klassieke smaak weer. Goeie bediening die meedenkt en ook goeie klandizie.

The food the food the food. Is excellent tou can order a variety of dishes here and just about everything taste good. (Note: by mistake I gave the raring and description of this place to Eten bij Tries; that was a misplaced reflection, my apology). The food is so good that the rest beco.e insignificant. The place is clean the crew is small but alert, efficient and smooth. This is your place whether you looking for a bite , an individual meal, a family meal or catering for a party.

Geweldig lekker eten en een heel grote keus. Een echte aanrader wat mij betreft. Supersnelle service en ook op drukke dagen sta je zo weer buiten.

Heerlijk gegeten daar. Broodjes meegenomen. Super lekker.

Nasi moksi op, kleine bak voor 6,50. Is meer dan ruim voldoende zo'n kleine bak, heerlijk sambal en zuur erbij, smullen geblazen!
