A slightly plumper man behind the cash register is always irritated. You can see it in his entire attitude and behavior. The atmosphere is not that great either. Furthermore, the sandwiches are tasty, that's for sure.

Where to start... well I know for sure because there were several hairs in our fried rice! Prices are abnormally expensive and the Chinese older man with glasses thinks he is starring in a gangster film and he wants to prove himself to other Surinamese customers: show that he can speak Surinamese. And also completely rude when taking the order. Do something about this behavior and the food is just not tasty, it is that they are one of the few in Hoogvliet that makes them feel a lot. Better to go to Jeffrey's in Slinge or Sranang in Rotterdam. Never again Sun Sien for me!

Always enjoyed eating here. But since last year (2024) it has deteriorated a lot in my opinion. Telo bakkeljauw €6.80 for 7 pieces of cassava and a little bakkeljauw. Better get your fried rice at Misterwong or at Jeffreys in Slinge. I never write a review but I really had to say something about this, a waste of money!! Sunsien was my favorite restaurant but is now in the top 3 worst restaurants I have eaten at!! Sorry but never again.

I regularly get a load of sandwiches here for half our company. The food is always incredibly tasty. They rarely make a mistake with the order and are also friendly and fast! Great business! Edit 11/21/24 Still delicious sandwiches. A bit more sparingly invested than in the past. But those prices... Everything is more expensive, but €4.40 for a curry chicken sandwich. We rarely come here for business anymore.

It has become extremely expensive: €13 for a roti roll! Absurd. Well, a sliding door like that has to come from somewhere. But not from my pocket

Delicious sotao, delivered to the table. Unfortunately, the door was left open a lot, which made the place a bit chilly and unpleasant. But the delicious food and friendly service makes up for a lot.

This really is the best Surinamese Antilian Chinese and Javanese restaurant where I have eaten and cannot be compared to others!

Delicious food, served very quickly. It is also possible to eat on site, but there are only 2 tables for a maximum of 4 people.

Food is cold. I feel like everything is already ready. A little more flavor to the tjauw min would be nice. In the past the food was better in Spijkenisse. But otherwise great stuff.

Sandwiches were great. Satay was also great. Nasie was very disappointing. Tjap tjoy had the same taste as any other Chinese, in bad taste. So dinner was a shame.

Nasi moksie metti was unpalatable, meat was tough. Prices also too expensive for what you get. Better go to Mister Wong next time

I ordered a nasi moksi and a tjawmin chicken. I didn't even receive my order in 3 minutes. Food is not bad. But it does give me an idea that they don't make it fresh. Food was also luke warm even though I live around the corner.

Sandwiches are delicious, very fast service. Have a baked cod sandwich, too tasty. Nasi with chicken is tasty. You come in, order your chicken and when your eyes have blinked it's ready. Dawet is also hot in the summer!!! Good parking facilities and good air conditioning for the summer.

I've been here, I live in Amsterdam, but the food satay cu batata, what kind of food was that, it was just potatoes with 3 satay skewers, not even sauce on the potatoes?

Good rolls could be filled a little thicker

Came here often before corona. Moksie meti was delicious then. Now it's rubbish. Boiled chicken to death and tasteless meat. Surinamese rice was also useless. Unclear price list. You pay more than what is stated. Next time go to Mister Wong again. Too bad.

Messing around with prices! Had to pay e18.20 while the card says e14.50. Often half lukewarm food from containers, not freshly baked.

Truly the tastiest "snack bar" in the Netherlands! The description snack bar is not quite appropriate here because they also have so many tasty things besides snacks!

Everything is warmed up and ready, every Thursday I pick up lunch for my colleagues and to my complete satisfaction!

Altijd druk en alles gaat traag

Belegde broodjes goed. Tjauwin moksi niet echt lekker van smaak,ken betere zaak waar smaakt. Klant vriendelijk dat wel.

Nadat ik jarenlang een kilometer verder vaste klant was bij Mr Wong op de Binneban, krijg ik de tip om toch maar eens hier eten te gaan halen. Nu gisteren voor de tweede keer eten gehaald en inderdaad best lekker. Nieuw iets geprobeerd krokante kip met Surinaamse nasi was was lekker zeker ook de saus. Voor een Indisch gerecht is de keus wel wat minder. Maar oké goed te doen. Nette zaak vriendelijk personeel en snel klaar. Nou salamakam eet smakelijk

Het eten is altijd goed hier, kom er al jaren.

Hier hebben ze de lekkerste roti van hoogvliet en omstreken

Minden héten viszünk haza innen enni valamit. Nekünk az ízek fantasztikusak. Az üzlet maga semmi extra de az ízek kárpótolnak. Ár rendben van.

Alles heel lekker alleen jammer dat het steeda duurder word tegenwoordig voorderest altijd goed eten en goed personeel.

Broodjes zijn heerlijk. Ook de roti is prima. Sauoto soep is echt minder.

Al jaren 25 30 jaar kom ik daar lekker meer hoef ik niet te zeggen

Lekker eten maar mag iets pittiger. Bediening TOP het was echt belachelijk druk op een vrijdag rond lunchtijd maar wat kunnen die mensen ontzettend hard werken. Buiten al in de rij (was mijn eerste bezoek maar wist meteen “dan moet het wel goed zijn”) en uiteindelijk binnen ook nog wachten maar dat maakt het bijna alleen nog leuker. 45 kilometer van huis maar we komen zeker nog eens terug.

Ik raad iedereen aan. Op en top goed eten.

Je kan er goed eten bestellen zeker een aanrader..

Bestel hier iedere vrijdag, net als de rest van Rotterdam waarschijnlijk, want het is altijd druk vrijdag middag. Zeker het wachten waard.
