Saturday, September 12, 2026. Had a nice meal here. Great fries. Tasty snacks. Fast, efficient service. 2 girls, 1 young boy, and an older boy. What struck me is the following. While changing the container of Raspatat, the young boy with the long locks of hair (I think 18 years old) used his index finger as a spatula to scrape the cold Raspatat batter off a lid. And to wipe his finger on his polo shirt. Moreover, this boy kept adjusting his two locks of hair at the counter. I paid attention, but his fingers went through his hair 6 or 7 times. This is really unacceptable, and I hope the management reads this review and speaks to the young boy about it.

The snacks had been fried for almost 15 quarters of an hour, ready before the fries were ready, so the snacks were cold. Very disappointing. I even mentioned they were cold and they looked at me as if I were crazy. You will never see me there again. Very unfortunate. I would prefer to go a bit further away and get hot food.

The food was delicious and the service was very friendly and quick. The only thing that bothered me was that the chairs were very stained.

The staff is friendly. The food is good and reasonable for the price. It does take a bit longer to prepare; it sometimes seems a bit less efficient. But that is not really an issue.

Had a delicious kapsalon with ice cream for dessert. Plenty of delicious raw vegetables on the kapsalon, not too salty. Really top-notch.

The fries were tasty; however, we ordered for 5 people and there were 3 adults and 1 child, so the portion was very small. The cafeteria was also very busy and understaffed, so we had to wait a very long time.

Very bad. We ordered fries and shawarma. Well, sorry, but for the money you pay, I wouldn't call that fries and shawarma; it's fries with a tiny bit of shawarma flavor. And the only thing you hear when you call is, "All portions are the same." Maybe you should make the portions larger, because this is absolutely terrible. It's a shame you can't add a photo; it's too pathetic for words.

Temperature outside is just scorching hot. Just popping in here for some fries. What a warm welcome. Friendliness at its best!!!! That makes our holiday extra fun. Super girls!!!!

Delicious beef burgers and crispy fries. But I would like to offer a tip... buy a few highlighters, stick the receipt to the paper bag or not, and highlight with the marker what you put in the bag! That way you know what is still missing. Because this hasn't happened to me just once. Discovering at home that things you did order (online) aren't in there. And try to remember... bag full, call out your name immediately. Don't leave it sitting on the work table for a good 5 minutes.

What a rush. But under the guidance of the blonde lady behind the counter on the right, everything ran smoothly. It is incredible how this young woman sees what needs to be done and effortlessly guides her young colleagues through the crowds. The food was delicious!

Soggy fries, could be because it was Saturday night and busy.....the egg ball was tasty though. I wouldn't go there again anytime soon.

You are looking at the reviews, so take it from me that for fries you are better off going to the snack bar in Exloo. The fries were cold, the burger was completely different from the picture, and the wait time was long. This snack bar cannot handle the crowds; delivering warm fries is also difficult.

Really super good fries for a cafeteria, nice and crispy and not very greasy. Plus, the service was great, just as it should be.

Good food, egg ball, XXL special frikandel, raspberries, and satay croquette. The satay croquette was a bit lacking in satay, so to speak. ;). But that's just taste. Clean, nice and hot, quickly prepared, and the entire package was well-prepared. Prices are reasonable, and the price/quality ratio is good! Years ago, this was a different cafeteria. So the negative reviews could be a lot from that time. A true asset to Borger.

Simply a good snack bar! Highly recommended

We ordered online and picked it up around 7:45 PM. The whole restaurant was already cleared out and looked like they were already closed. The fries were delicious and well-fried, as were the croquettes and frikadel XXL. But the shawarma was overcooked, and the garlic sauce was minimal. The hogweed could also have been cooked a bit longer. The onions were still too raw, and the peanut sauce was cold.

The food was fine, tasted good, but for the prices there I could have eaten almost 3 times at home in Breda, which is really absurd.

I'm NEVER coming back here. This used to be our favorite snack bar. But there's nothing left of it now! The atmosphere and decor are awful. Nothing cozy about it. I ordered a veggie burger. This used to be my favorite here. But now!! Inedible!! A hard bun that wasn't meant to be a hamburger bun at all. The burger was almost burnt, and the sauce on it was absolutely inedible. It tasted like tobacco. I had to throw it away. Such a shame. And incredibly expensive, too. The "beerhap" was about 80% onion. And the cheese soufflé was cold. Only the raspberries were good. Such a shame. There's nothing left of this place.

As a resident of beautiful Groningen and a valued eierbal critic, I have to admit this one definitely ranks high. The eierbal was practically perfect, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you so much for this delicious little ball of Groningen culture.

A friend and I are from Groningen and are professional eierbal critics. After tasting about 100 eierbals from the beautiful north of the Netherlands, this one truly takes the cake. The team that baked this magnificent creation is young, polite, and very sociable. I want to personally thank you all for this incredible taste experience.

As true Brabant natives, we were craving fries and stew. So I ordered a small one and a medium stew. That cost me a whopping €19.50!!😳😶 We're on vacation, so I think, "Never mind, I won't say anything." But I already know I'll NEVER come back here! But I was hoping it would at least be incredibly tasty, good homemade stew. Barely two tablespoons of something that, in my opinion, was poured straight from a can into a bain-marie and heated up as is, spooned onto the fries. Not that it's bad or disgusting, but if you tried to sell this stuff as stew in Brabant, you'd have a problem. Besides, it's complete chaos behind the counter. There are five or six young people running around, constantly having to ask each other about everything. There was no one in charge or directing the whole thing. That's why, even though it wasn't really busy, we waited over half an hour for our order. It then turned out to be not only far below par, but also so expensive that even in Amsterdam, they'd say, "That's expensive!"😳🤔 In short, we will never set foot in here again!

The fries were overcooked and the stew was still cold and not tasty. You can't call it a stew. I've been there once before and the stew was tasty. It's a shame that it cost almost 20 euros for food that wasn't tasty. We didn't eat everything either.

Fries overcooked and then a blob of cold meat on top that was supposed to be stew, this blob probably hadn't been in the microwave long enough because it was still cold. The business itself has a good appearance but the food is the opposite.

Good food and good service I can't say anything negative about it. It is often busy and then you can sit comfortably.

Ordered food for over 10 people. Waited over 20 minutes for it to be ready. Order incomplete (we only had family bags of fries, 11 frikandellen and some satay sauce. Not rocket science, right?), satay sauce is warm peanut butter and the fries were limp and cold. Easy choice not to get here again. It wasn't even busy.

Yesterday we came here by chance. The food was incredibly good and tasty. The gluten-free they could offer was ample in choice and of good quality. We have decided to definitely go here more often when we are in the area😃😃

Waited more than half an hour for fries that were not tasty, even the children did not eat them, the snacks were not fully cooked. Fortunately there is an albert heijn opposite so we do not have to wait another 30 minutes for a 2nd bottle of drink.

In terms of food, this is below par. The fries were way too overcooked and the peanut sauce had a bland taste. The worst thing was that we had to wait 45 minutes for the food. It's fine that it's busy, but give a customer a choice when the wait is so long. This causes irritation that is not necessary if you are clear. It's not just about the turnover!

The hamburger sandwich was a cheap frozen burger that was overcooked, as well as half a container full of hard fries. Also costs top prize. Yuck

Nice place to eat and you really get value for your money. The Hunbed Highway burger is highly recommended. Furthermore, good fresh ingredients and smooth and neat service and the prices are also worthy of the quality.

Ordered online and was ready on time. Fries were good, but a bit glassy. Ras fries were great. Hamburger sandwich was delicious! Most snacks were fine except for the croquettes. So there is room for improvement and furthermore a good snack bar.

Good food, friendly people. Nice chairs to sit in at the ample tables. Food ready quickly, everything nice and hot. Chicken burger, good bun and tasty toppings. Raspatat is highly recommended.

We really wanted to eat Frikandel on vacation. So we found Cafeteria Borger on the internet. The four young people in service were very friendly and served us immediately at the counter. The cafeteria was well attended. You can sit at the table inside or order to take away The food was very tasty and we were totally full with the XXL version. We can recommend it.

Ordered again a number of times and unfortunately the satay sauce was dirty and the egg balls had a sour taste. They always had different eggballs. Rest of food was fine.

I recently got food here and it was really great! Tasted good and was helped quickly despite it being super busy. Top snack bar!

Food was okay, farmer's schnitzel was much too tough, you noticed that it had been there for a while. The vegetables on top of the schnitzel tasted good. Fries were well done and had a nice combination of spices. The service in the restaurant is mainly self service, disappointing. For the price you pay at this cafeteria, I expect them to bring it to your table, you also had to take the drinks from the display case yourself after paying. I don't think it would be very difficult to adjust this. The overall atmosphere in the cafeteria was fine, but it was a shame to see that all the trash cans were full and the tables were dirty. I had to point this out to one of the staff members myself to clean a table. There are still a number of major areas for improvement for this cafeteria, so they are fortunate to be located in a busy location in the center of Borger.

Peanut sauce was comparable to what I sometimes find in my granddaughter's diaper, it was way too thick and cold. I think the last bit was out of the jar too. Fries were limp and the snacks were not really warm. The atmosphere of the staff was too private among themselves, the entire tent could enjoy what they were going to do that weekend, etc

Fries were very limp and greasy. The fries are also seasoned (with some kind of paprika seasoning?) without asking. Young girls behind the counter seemed to be more concerned with the group of boys who came in than with their work. Snacks were okay and unlike other reviews I read, we were greeted politely.

Bad service: we ate in the restaurant but the chairs were crumbled, we had to get drinks from the refrigerator ourselves, a straw instead of a glass, the food was not put on a plate but in cardboard containers on the table, and when leaving the business couldn't get over it. The fries were really tasty and the other food items were just okay. Next time I won't eat on site and will pick it up.

You didn't feel welcome or comfortable... Staff would rather talk to friends who came to visit than take orders. The staff then eats first and then serves at some point. Burgers very salty, fries were tasty. Lots of dust on the shelves. Seems a bit messy...

Rarely have I eaten such a delicious (Borger) hamburger. No expense has been spared on fresh ingredients such as vegetables. Fresh bun (albeit a large bun) with the tender hamburger in between. Good crispy fries. Great food. Continue to deliver this quality 👍

Geen geoliede machine. Loopt traag en wachttijden aan de telefoon duurt eeuwen.... wel goed eten! Maar het is een uitdaging om te bestellen

Nette zaak ,vriendelijkheid en snelheid staan bovenaan. Hygiënisch goed voor elkaar.

Op zich lekkere patat, maar veel te veel mayo wat door de hele patat zat, dus je kon dit niet zelf doseren.(zeker niet onder het autorijden) jammer.

Onze ervaring in de snackbar in Borger was overwegend positief. We zochten een snelle hap en werden aangelokt door de "Borger Burger" op het menu. Deze burger was zeker een traktatie voor de smaakpapillen. Rijkelijk belegd met verse groenten, sappig vlees en een heerlijke saus, liet de Borger Burger een blijvende indruk achter. De smaak was uitstekend en het was duidelijk dat er aandacht was besteed aan de kwaliteit van de ingrediënten. Wat betreft de prijs, moeten we eerlijk zijn dat de Borger Burger aan de prijzige kant was. Hoewel de kwaliteit hoog was, hadden we gehoopt op een iets meer budgetvriendelijke optie voor een snackbar. De service was snel en efficiënt, wat geweldig was voor een snelle maaltijd. De sfeer in de snackbar was typisch voor dit soort etablissementen - informeel en gericht op snelheid. Kortom, als je bereid bent iets meer uit te geven voor een smaakvolle burger, dan is de Borger Burger zeker een aanrader. Het was een smakelijke maaltijd in een snackbar in Borger die we niet snel zullen vergeten.
