La Piazza in Wijk 00 Borger

They have very friendly staff and delicious food. It's a great place to eat if you're in the Borger area.

Had a super delicious meal! 🍕 Everything was well-seasoned and the service was top-notch. A cozy place and definitely worth a return visit. See you next time!

A nice place for a cozy meal. The pizza was well-topped and delicious. Highly recommended!

We had a delicious meal! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. Definitely recommended.

Today we enjoyed a delicious pizza. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

We had a delicious meal, and the service was very friendly. It was still nice and warm on the terrace in September.

A very warm welcome here. Had a delicious meal. Drank a super tasty Rosé. Absolutely amazing! Worth repeating!!🎉🎉

Ordered takeout pizzas. Ordered by phone, I got someone on the line who spoke broken Dutch, so one pizza was wrong... they went and made it again, which meant the rest got cold. The pizzas aren't amazing; I found them a bit bland. Not worth repeating.

Had a delicious meal, definitely recommended!!!

The food was good, and the waiter was very friendly. We'll definitely come back again.

We had a delicious meal and received excellent and friendly service and welcome. A really great restaurant.

Really good pizzeria. I love coming here.

Truly the most unappetizing pizza in ages. Only the crust was good. The toppings were bland, the cheapest, tasteless, undercooked, without garlic, without herbs. However, the absolute cheapest. The tomato sauce: no idea where that came from. The smell lingered on my fingers until the next day. Oh boy... Although,...the terrace was full and I saw dozens of people going home with stacks of ordered pizzas, so business is good. So basically: leave it as it is.

Not the best pizza ever. Wasn't really worth the money. Too bad.

Severely disappointing!! Ordered 3 pizzas, including 1 without onion! This wasn't a problem. Fine, ordered at 4:00 PM, to be delivered at 5:30 PM. Called 6 times by the restaurant and the delivery person. Eventually, the delivery arrived at 5:50 PM. Well, fine, that happens. Then pizzas with onion, while I had ordered without. So one person already has no food. The pizzas themselves are inedible. Soggy bases, crust not crispy. So be smart, don't order here!!

A pizzeria with a large selection of pizzas, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Reservations are recommended if you plan to eat there in the evening. We felt very comfortable.

The last time I ate such a delicious pizza was in Italy itself. The service is very professional and contributes to the truly Italian atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Delicious pizza and very friendly staff! We will definitely be back!

We ate there yesterday, the food was very tasty and the staff were super nice.

Delicious food, highly recommended.

The appetizer was delicious. The pizza and lasagna were very good. The service was friendly and helpful.

A lovely pizzeria in Borger. We were a group of four, ordering three pizzas and one pasta dish. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and we didn't have to wait long for our meals. We'll definitely come back next time we're on vacation here.

I was there with my two kids just before closing time! Despite that, everyone was very friendly and joked around with the children. The pizza arrived quickly and tasted delicious. Nothing groundbreaking, just a solid pizza with fresh ingredients. The sauce wasn't really to our liking, but that's a matter of taste. I would come again!

The food was definitely tasty. And they did a lot to make up for it, to start on a positive note. We asked for mustard soup for the little one, but received mushroom soup instead. After that, we had to wait an hour for the food; after 52 minutes, I went to ask about it. Then we received a drink on the house because we had to wait so long. They had forgotten one drink, and then they had also forgotten to prepare a dish. Afterwards, we did get a limoncelo on the house. And they apologized frequently, which is nice. They indicated that it was due to the busyness. Once again, the food was really tasty, and the cocktails too.

Eaten at La Piazza for the first time, it was super delicious, highly recommended, and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely come back.

Cozy, friendly staff, and the food was good!

Pizza was delicious. Staff very attentive and helpful.

Taken a full mojito, delivered food to other tables, filmed without permission. Bad service and forced to do the wave for social media without permission, and alcohol given to a minor expressly. I will not be coming back here because I don't like this and you can't indicate that.

We had a delicious meal. Pico Bello with very friendly staff.

On Saturday afternoon, we had the spontaneous idea to grab a bite to eat here, so we called to make a reservation. We could get a table at 5:30 PM. When we arrived, the downstairs looked atmospheric, and we were taken upstairs where we immediately lost all sense of Italian vibes. There was the smell of people with a strong body odor and the screaming of small children. Upstairs is a sort of attic with a wooden floor and a few very old tables and chairs that are ready for the dump. Absolutely no atmosphere or coziness. The music was unbearable. The pizza I ordered had crusts that were about as hard as a dolmen. Furthermore, there were people with dogs inside, which personally puts me off immensely.

Cozy atmosphere and good food. Excellent service. Quick and attentive. Spacious seating.

Had a delicious pizza and the staff was friendly.

Had a delicious meal with family

Somewhat dated Pizzeria with access to an attic via a small staircase. Food fine, furniture outdated, parking nearby. Drinks are quite pricey

Welcoming and cozy restaurant. Delicious spiced pizza bread with herb butter to start and delicious limoncello to finish. The gorgonzola could have been a bit spicier. Otherwise, everything was fine! Also, delicious milkshake sorbet.

Very nice place in the middle of Borger, welcoming and delicious pizza. The taste is perfect, although everyone wants to try something different. We were offered a drink while waiting; the wait was only 15 minutes (without ordering in advance or anything). Will definitely come again when I am on vacation in the area!

Had a delicious meal. Excellent service.

Very tasty pizzas! No discount is given on the pizzas in red on the menu, but the service more than makes up for it! Top spot in Borger!!!!

No, you don't even say hello or anything. You have to approach them to ask for a spot, ask again where we want to sit and drink, it's put on the table so hard. Really, never going there again.

I didn't think the service was very good; they never asked if we wanted another drink and we had to wait 40 minutes before we were allowed to order something.

Drank 2 Weizens, nothing wrong with them, but the service could be much friendlier and more attentive. And I also don't think it's customer-friendly that you have to go inside to pay, considering the price of the beers.

Sit on the 1st floor, nice spot Friendly staff Delicious pizzas

The pizzas were delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

I ate there on May 9th with a group of 4. Generally speaking, they are friendly people and seem to do their best for you. At least, that is the impression they give. The main course was fine. However, I had ordered a coupe tutti frutti (multiple types of fruit and fruit ice cream) for dessert, but they brought a strawberry coupe. It was supposed to have mango sauce on it, but it was strawberry sauce with only strawberries as the fruit. I returned it to a gentleman who worked there and was standing at the bar, stating that this was not the coupe tutti frutti. Our waitress then came excitedly to our table and immediately brought the ice cream back, stating that it *was* correct! She raised her voice at me, which made me agitated as well, and I said: “This isn't mango sauce, is it?” She then grabbed the menu to say that this was an old menu and that this ice cream now had this sauce. They were getting a new menu next month. I was allowed to have the ice cream for free. “It’s free!” I said that wasn't the point. I didn't want to spoil the atmosphere and told her I didn't want to discuss it with her. When I ate the ice cream, it was yogurt ice cream like in the strawberry sundae, with only strawberries. The tutti frutti ice cream didn't have this. It contained, among other things, banana ice cream with multiple types of fruit. So they sold me a strawberry sundae and kept insisting that this was the tutti frutti sundae. Not even admitting they made a mistake and saying they would fix it, but instead trying to clear their name by coming up with a stupid excuse, raising their voice, and acting agitated. It was getting completely ridiculous. “This is an old menu, we’re getting a new menu next month,” after she had briefly glanced at the menu herself. They should have made a little effort for the customer and resolved it instead of lying. IF something isn't available, just tell the customer beforehand. IF that was even the case at all. Now I feel like, we still have strawberries left and are selling it as the tutti frutti sundae. You won't see me here anymore.

Very nice people :) the food is fantastic

Nice waitresses and delicious food, would definitely recommend it!

Very good place to eat. The atmosphere is good and I had a delicious meal. The people who work there are so friendly. I enjoyed it. My experience was good.☺️

The food was delicious, and while waiting we received a lovely beer on the house because the order took a little longer (which we didn't notice at all).

We just ate there with 9 people, the atmosphere was good, the service was top-notch and the food was delicious!!!!!!! Highly recommended.

Ready quickly and tasty pizzas. Crispy crust and clearly fresh ingredients. Staff was friendly. Extra point for the music selection ;)

Looking forward to eating here this evening, but it was very busy and we had to sit upstairs. We had ordered drinks but still had to check what we wanted. We sat waiting for well over 25 minutes. My wife suggested I call and order for table 207, and as we did, we were told someone would come right away, but nothing came? We have never done this before either, but we left without paying for the drinks. When we got downstairs, I told two waiters that it was nice and thanked them, but for us, never again La Piazza. Even though we were regular guests, they lost us and ruined us. All in all, terrible service. And oh yes, the female waitress even told me it was very busy and that she was getting a headache. For us, this was a major headache: a huge missed opportunity!

Delicious food and very friendly staff

I've been to 3 restaurants but I've never eaten pizza this delicious, thank you, it was super

Super fast service. And of course, things do go wrong sometimes. In our case, a pizza was missing and we were mistakenly overcharged. But the missing pizza was there before you could blink twice. And the overpayment was back on our account in no time. And most importantly: the pizzas were delicious. So if you happen to be staying at Land van Bartje? You can order there with peace of mind!!

We had a truly perfect stay! We especially want to highlight the lovely birthday surprise – the table was beautifully decorated with flowers, and we immediately felt special and welcome. The absolute highlight was the heartfelt serenade along with the delicious dessert – such thoughtful service is truly rare! The team is incredibly friendly and attentive, and their dedication creates a wonderful atmosphere. A huge thank you to everyone – we will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

Excellent service. Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Children are very welcome. We had pizza and children's spaghetti with tomato sauce. Everything was delicious.

We had a delicious meal here two evenings in a row in a cozy Italian atmosphere. Top-notch service and reasonable waiting times contributed to a great feeling. All the dishes we ordered were delicious; the pizza diavola, the tiramisu, etc. Excellent!

Have you always wanted to dine *on* a roundabout? You can do that here, and it is a fun experience to sit right in the middle of the traffic like that, especially if you sit on the terrace. And the food is delicious!

This pizzeria is located right in the center of Borger. I sat on the terrace and enjoyed a good carpaccio and the Borger Speciaal pizza, both of which tasted great. The service was friendly and welcoming, which certainly contributed to the experience. However, the restaurant itself (both interior and exterior) could be a bit more atmospheric. All in all, not a bad place to eat or drink if you are in Borger.

The affogato was truly perfect. The balance between coffee and ice was just right😋

Such lovely people, you can feel that they all put their heart and soul into this restaurant! It was our pleasure to dine here last Thursday evening. At the end, the lady was overwhelmed by the tip, but it is 100% deserved! Great food, the bambino pizza is bigger than a regular pizza anywhere else, and the steak! Very tasty! Keep up the good work! You're the best! ❤️

Friendly staff, good service and delicious food.

We were on holiday at Landal (Land van Bartje). The food at the park is expensive and not very tasty. We called to ask if they delivered, and they did. The pizzas were ready quickly, and I was called to say the delivery driver was leaving, so I asked if I wanted to go to the park entrance to pick up the pizzas. I was also asked if I wanted to pay by card or cash. Less than 10 minutes later, we received the delicious pizzas. They were still nice and warm, and the flavors were delicious and generously topped. In short, fantastic! It's a shame we don't live nearby, otherwise we would definitely have ordered from them more often.

The pizza was delicious! We were even allowed to take our desserts home to enjoy later. The service was patient. If we're ever on vacation again and in the area, we'll definitely be back!

On Valentine's Day, we had a lovely meal at 1 p.m., when they normally open at 3 p.m. But they were able to make an exception for us, at 1 p.m., which was fantastic! The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful, and the staff were friendly! Highly recommended!

A very pleasant, enjoyable, good, and above all, delicious experience. We didn't have a reservation, and despite it being busy, we were given a spot upstairs. The food was served quickly. It was the right temperature and delicious. No greasy mess, but wonderfully fresh and unfussy. The waiters and staff were friendly. The price was also good. I highly recommend eating here.

Definitely recommended in Borger. We were there two days in a row, nothing to complain about.

We picked up some delicious pizzas and they were still warm when we got back to Bartje's country.

Cozy restaurant, friendly staff, and delicious pizzas. A wonderful end to a weekend in Borger!

The shrimp pasta was excellent despite being delivered; the shrimp were fresh and the sauce was delicious. Highly recommended.

Great pizzeria. Delicious pizzas in a cozy and friendly atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We went for dinner last night. The staff were so friendly and sweet. They were very kind to my son, who was allowed to help! The pizzas were delicious, and the kids' menus were great too. Highly recommended.

This was the only place open around here during Christmass. They make gluten-free versions of the pasta dishes on the menu. That made me very happy, because it's very difficult to find gluten-free food outside 🥲. It was delicious, I would definitely recommend it to those following a gluten-free diet. 🧚🏻

A wonderful restaurant with very, very good food for an absolutely ridiculously low price considering the quality. Eat here.

Wide selection of pizzas, delicious food, wonderful cappuccino, we will definitely go back. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the prices are still reasonable, top-notch business.

On the first day of midweek, I went grocery shopping at Landal Land van Bartje in Borger and looked for a restaurant. Luckily, they were open on Mondays. We had a truly delicious meal. The standard appetizer was delicious and more than enough for two. The pizzas were large, with a nice crust and plenty of toppings. The pasta was also sufficient, although it was easier to finish than the pizza. The bill? That was the biggest bonus :)

Delicious and affordable pizzas. Cozy and inviting restaurant with friendly service.

We had a very tasty meal. Highly recommended as a pizzeria.

Pizza and pasta were delicious again

The atmosphere looks cozy but the food (had tagliatelle salmon) was not great, also in the service you have to take the initiative yourself which is a shame.

A super cozy little pizzeria. The food was great and even though it was very busy, it was ready fairly quickly. The service was friendly, and even though not everyone spoke perfect Dutch, they still did their best! The atmosphere was also good, although it can get quite busy at times. Definitely recommended for a delicious pizza or pasta in Borger.

Nice restaurant in the center with very tasty food and good service.

As has already been mentioned here, the tables are so close together that it's difficult to even sit down. Often, tables are in the aisle. The tables are dirty, so I had to ask the waiter to wipe them down again. We waited a long time for our order. But the food was good. We had to call the waiter ourselves, both for our order and for payment. The restroom is a nightmare. The atmosphere makes you never want to eat there again.

This is especially recommended in the summer if you can sit on the terrace. It does get incredibly busy and takes a bit longer, but it's definitely worth it. It's a bit dark inside. The ice cream is truly the best at this pizzeria.

The best pizza we've had in a long time, authentic Italian, quality ingredients. A lovely, quiet, and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere, service, food. Really cozy. The carpaccio pizza is really delicious.

The people who work here are very friendly. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great.

A lovely, cozy place with delicious food and attentive staff. We ate there for my mother's 60th birthday. They had decorated everything, and we got dessert and limoncello on the house 🥰 And the pizza carpaccio is highly recommended 😉

Best pizza I've ever eaten, friendly staff, great chef. I recommend the spicy calzone.

The food was good. Although we were tempted to leave as quickly as possible because it was so busy, so our table would be free for someone else. Not exactly a welcome feeling.

Pleasant, cozy restaurant, great service. Delicious pizzas! It was great that our dogs were welcome too.

It was excellent!! Recommended!!

The lasagna bolognese was delicious; it was the best I've ever had in an Italian restaurant. My husband had the mixed grill, which was also delicious with fries and salad. We sat outside on the terrace, and the staff were very friendly! If we ever visit Drenthe/Borger again, we'll definitely be back at La Piazza!

If the restaurant works the same way the delivery driver drives. His antisocial driving is not good. Apparently, he doesn't realize there's advertising on his cookie tin. So very negative!!!!

Excellent Italian restaurant with a wide selection and very reasonable prices. For three people, it was a double starter, a shared main course, and a bottle of Pinot Grigio and Chianti. Everything was possible, and the staff were very friendly. We're happy with it!

Both the starter and main course were prepared incorrectly. It's a shame.

Very nice pizzeria, very friendly staff! The outdoor seating is very comfortable. It was no problem getting a seat at lunch without a reservation. Our food—mozzarella pizza, spaghetti Bolognese, and a salad—was delicious!

Ordered a 50cm family pizza, very tasty. While we waited, we each received a glass of water.

Very long wait for food, almost 2 hours

The kids were happy, and so were we! The service was incredibly friendly, even on a super busy evening. They accidentally forgot that we'd also ordered a main course, but this was resolved promptly and efficiently. We even received a drink on the house. The food was also excellent: very well-filled and incredibly tasty. Truly top-notch service and a wonderful atmosphere!
