Cafetaria Keizer Karelplein in Wijk 01 Nijmegen-Centrum

It was the first time I visited Cafetaria Elif, and coincidentally, it had just been taken over by a new owner. Yousef is super hospitable and friendly. The kapsalon tasted really good too! Highly recommended.

Here, 4 chopped frikandellen and 2 portions of bitterballen with 2 sauces cost €29 during the Four Days Marches. Quite a lot of money. It turns out: a 20% Four Days Marches surcharge... How sad. Normally, this small brown fruit bowl costs €24.50.

They seem to still be open online, but the place has been closed for weeks

My fries were cold and soggy, and the frikandel tasted like nothing.
