Always a great place. Lovely burgers and incredibly addicting when you live down the street!

Besides the fact that this snack bar is pricing itself out of the market, it's absolutely appalling that you wait over 40 minutes for an order that turns out to have been forgotten. They clearly don't have their act together. My tip if you live in Zuidbroek: drive to Pinksterbloem! It saves 30%, the quality is better, and they're always on time. Oh, almost forgot; they always drive around the neighborhood like idiots.

I've bought and ordered things here a few times. It's super good and the service is excellent. Friendly staff. When our group goes out to collect trash on Saturdays, we're often offered refreshments. The restrooms are also excellent and clean. The patio is always well-maintained.

Today, July 19, 2025, after picking up trash in Zuidbroek, our team from Cafetaria Family was offered another free drink. Thanks! Well done.

First time here. Very nice and cozy place. Friendly staff and the food was also delicious! Milkshake Hollandse glorie is recommended. Friend of mine had the frikandel xxl, pohh what a thing. Will definitely come back!

Had a fantastic burger with egg! I also ordered the XXL frikandel, and that was also great. Completely satisfied.

Until recently, I always ordered from this place because the service and food were excellent. Last time I got less than half a portion for the price of a portion of fries, I called about that and it would be fine. Today I wanted to order and I was 20 cents short on the order in the app, so I called to ask if it could also be done by telephone because I am not going to order extra for those 20 cents. Normally that is not a problem. I got a very smart lady on the phone who was not prepared to accommodate me - and was very laconic and uninterested. Result: I will never order from here again.

Fries should not be eaten cold and old Milkshake was really cold, it was more thin than thick, I won't go there again

I recently ate an XL hogweed here. The meat was undercooked and of mediocre quality. The peanut sauce was too syrupy, a sweet and sour aftertaste and of low quality, probably not home made. The meat itself was also of questionable quality. As a rating 5/10. The snack bar has a pleasant atmosphere.

Cozy and affordable cafe for a "quick bite". Very suitable for eating with children. The service is very friendly, you feel very welcome.

We happened to be in the area, had a delicious meal, large portions and not expensive. Too bad we live in Sittard, otherwise we would come there at least once a week.

There were a few times when we felt we didn't get enough value for our money in terms of quantities. As a result, a boy kept cycling back and forth for us. But, family solves it time and time again. Be friendly and understanding in this regard. The food tastes delicious and they are fast. All in all, we are very satisfied with Family and we would like to order from here more often! We find it very annoying to come across as whiners, but we are very happy and satisfied with your service. ! Thank you for your flexibility, patience and solution orientation!

Now for the 2nd time I went to get a burger. I clearly ask at the checkout that no other meat is added or comes into contact with the chicken burger. And again I get a chicken burger with a heavy bacon flavor (pork in the fried vegetables). This is a very tough snack bar and they don't do anything about separations regarding meat, everything goes on one grill so you always eat pork regardless of what you order.

When you order fries, they put old fries that have already been fried and are left over in the fryer to warm them up. That makes it dirty and greasy. This appears to have become a normal thing. If you pay 13 euros for fries with a little sauce and chicken, it is unacceptable to serve fries of such quality. I have asked several times not to put in old fries, but they will still do it. So if you receive greasy and overburnt fries, you know why.

Tastiest fries in the area even though they are very little for the price you pay, but the sateh sauce is terrible, the taste of peanut is hard to find. Prices are exaggerated, €5.50 for a hogweed is not cheap. I've had my share here for now, but next week I'll go to another cafeteria

Good food in itself. On the very expensive side. It's just a shame that the owner/manager is severely customer unfriendly and acts like an idiot. We ate there every week for a long time, but unfortunately... this was the last time. We're going to find another spot.

Came to get a meatball. Apparently you have to stand at the cash register if you want to be helped, not further down the store, even if they have seen you walking, it still takes a long time before they help you because you are not at the cash register! Food is good, but pricey and in my opinion, a little more fries could be put in the bag when taking away, especially with a bag of fries for 4 people. I also noticed a lot of staff behind the counter, but clearing other tables where guests have been away for a while is not done or only done much later. Quality of the food is top notch. Delivery almost always on time. However, now for the 3rd time in a row the order is not complete, every time it is delivered afterwards, yes that is correct. But I think if you, as a cafeteria, sell menus for 16 euros and are simply the most expensive, I have no problem with that, but make sure you have your mess in order. For our last family today!! Always order for 50 to 60 euros, but that will be done after today. Again, if you are expensive, no problem, but make sure it is always correct and complete. This is very unfortunate!! And the previous 2x excuse of not having enough staff doesn't do me any good at all.... Then you shouldn't take more orders than you can process.

Beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious, I have never had such a tasty snitzel menu! The prices were certainly not disappointing, you really get value for your money. They were very friendly. Will definitely come back again. Toilets were spacious and clean.

Very satisfied with the quality of the food. What I think is a shame is that so far something has been missing with every order. Of course, it will be resolved immediately after one phone call. But not a single order has gone well yet. This order also goes wrong again. We would receive money because not everything was there. But unfortunately they have forgotten this too. Had a nice meal today, sufficient portions. Unfortunately it took a very long time for someone to come to our table to take our order. Once we ordered we didn't have to wait long. After that I didn't see any service anymore and just walked to the cash register for ice cream/payment. In between frying fries they were watching football, so little time for the seated guests, but pick-up/delivery went smoothly.

Food is delicious. If you choose delivery on the opening site via the site, the prices will be higher than if you choose to collect yourself. This can still be explained with good information, but delivery costs will also be charged. Very much of a good thing. The difference was more than 10 euros on my order.

I enter without a face mask. The first thing I am asked is do you have a face mask (you are not a public space but okay) I put it on and then say that I will come back after doing some shopping in the coop next door. Then I walk back and take off all employees' face masks or put them under their chins. A customer comes in (clearly a regular customer) and he is not asked to put on a face mask. And everyone continues happily. There were 2 other customers wearing a face mask, so I didn't say anything. Measuring with 2 sizes this!! If I also come in without a face mask, I don't want to be spoken to anymore, otherwise I'll never come there again!!!

Had to wait 50 minutes for the order, phone was not answered, we called 3 times. Then the order was incomplete, fries were melted in/on the container and were half cooked. Plastic from the container was stuck to the fries. We were able to throw everything away. Ordered there a number of times, always great, but worthless in real life in recent months. Especially if you also have to pay delivery costs and transaction costs. Never again... there are better snack bars in Apeldoorn!

A hell of a lot of overpriced cold fries and cold tasteless stew and prices of a Michelin restaurant

Things have deteriorated considerably since the takeover. Portions are very meager and also quite expensive compared to other cafeterias. Children's fries literally 12 individual fries for 1.55, delivery costs 2.50, while the order was delivered half an hour later than promised. Lots of young staff (there is nothing wrong with that, but they sometimes lack any feeling for the work). We have now had a mediocre experience 3 times, no more Family for us for the time being. And that is a real shame, because it is a beautiful thing.

They also make a delicious ice cream just before closing time!

More luxurious than an ordinary cafeteria. The menu is more extensive than that of a chip shop, but you can also just go here for your fries and frikandel.

Always a long wait and small portions

The Family concept is somewhere between a cafeteria and a hamburger chain: you can go there for a bowl of fries, or you can sit down for an extensive hamburger menu. The prices of a hamburger are higher than, for example, Burger King, but there are no hidden costs for extras, and above all: the quality is much better and the choice is much wider. In short: if you want an excellent hamburger and want to have a choice but can pay a little more, then this is definitely recommended.
