We ate here with a cycling club of 30 people. The service was good, and the staff were quick and friendly. Everyone received their food at the same time, which we have experienced differently at other pancake houses. You can eat well here for reasonable prices. We will definitely be back.

It was so bad there at first. Called 4 times, no one answered, then you go to look around, the staff just walk right past you, and you have a reservation? No, then you can just leave. Even people standing behind us with small children were sent away.

The pancakes were well cooked and tasted delicious! It was pleasantly busy here and the staff was friendly and welcoming. They have a terrace where you can sit outside, but there is some traffic noise.

I've been coming here for years and the food is always delicious and the service is good and friendly.

A great pancake restaurant to unwind with the kids after, for example, a day at Apenheul. Very affordable for the kids and served quickly. The interior is dated, which gives it an authentic feel. At the same time, it could use a little refresh. The children can entertain themselves quite well in the play area. The most important thing is the food, and that is fine here, offering good value for money. We accidentally ordered a pancake without thinking to mention an allergy. Our own fault, and we do not expect to receive a new dish free of charge. We indicated that we would take the first pancake with us. It would have been fair if it had been charged at half price on the bill, for example.

Mediocre, hostess not friendly at all. And dirty cutlery. Young girl who came to clear the table couldn't handle the feedback. Food, Shawarma plate very greasy. Pancake poorly topped. Where there was cheese there was no bacon or pineapple and vice versa.

We made a stopover on our way from the Netherlands to Germany. The pancake house is super easy to reach from the motorway and a thousand times better than any rest stop. With three children, we were served incredibly friendly, patiently, and quickly. There was something for everyone, and everyone loved it.

It was delicious and the service was also in German. I'd gladly come again.

Had pancakes with a friend! If you love really good pancakes, look no further. You can get them in Ugchelen! I had the ham, cheese, and bacon with cheese pancake myself! Delicious! My friend had the babi pangang pancake; now you might be thinking: "Why a pancake with babi pangang?" Well, just because they can! They have a pancake with every theme! And oh yes, be sure to have the Spanish Coffee at the end! Great value for money!! ;) You're a fool if you haven't been here! Cheers!

Don't order coffee here. Yuck. Watery, we call that ditch water. The pancake tasted good, though.

't Pannekoekhuis Ugchelen has an extensive menu with a huge selection, and we had a delicious meal. The service was very friendly and hospitable. We come all the way from Alkmaar & Texel ourselves, but should we be in the Ugchelen area again, we will absolutely certainly eat here again!

We ended up here after visiting Julianatoren. What a lovely pancake house! It is very nicely and authentically decorated, just as a pancake house should be. The food is really tasty; very good, well-filled pancakes with a delicious crispy edge. The prices here are really good for both food and drinks; my wife had an Austrian schnitzel, which was very good. This pancake house is highly recommended.

I read many good reviews for this company on Google. In my opinion, I found it somewhat disappointing. I found the atmosphere and the menu very old-fashioned. The staff did their best, but they didn't communicate with each other at all, which caused irritation. The pancake was fine,

Ordered two pancakes .... both pancakes were 'too black' for a pancake. One of the pancakes was an Italian one (17.95) ....... of which you really couldn't taste anything. The pancakes didn't taste bad, but still ...... Shame, next time I'll go 'a door' further.

Delicious pancakes in fantastic varieties. Very easy to reach from the motorway on our way to holiday near Apeldoorn. Friendly service and quick turnaround. Sweet and savory options that are delicious and very filling. We had the Italian, Gelderland, and farmer's pancakes, and a sweet pancake with apples and cinnamon. 😋 Very reasonable drink prices. The atmosphere is completely authentic. We would definitely come back.

Very beautiful pancake house, nice staff, very friendly and hospitable. My little dog is always allowed to come along and loves that. Good service and I recommend the delicious tomato soup and the pancakes are also delicious and there is a lot of choice. I really recommend this pancake house.

Good quality pancakes and friendly service

Since we moved to Ugchelen, we have come here for a meal at least every two months. Often with my uncle, who has been a regular for over 30 years. Always delicious and cozy. Highly recommended for young, old, and even for people without children!

During the meal, I was asked if we were leaving soon? I looked at her questioningly, realizing we were still eating, and she was standing by our table? I hadn't even been eating my pancake for 5 minutes! The lady indicated she needed to check if we were leaving soon. I think there is still a lot to learn regarding service; I also had to arrange the high chair myself.

Ate tasty pancakes. Quite pricey, though. But that's every pancake house. Service was quite mediocre.

When your bike tour takes a little longer than expected… between Apenheul and our destination, Appeldorn, we stumbled upon this pancake house. We sat outside in beautiful weather and, of course, had pancakes. The service was very friendly, the pancakes delicious, and the price was right. We highly recommend it!

The food is good, but the service isn't really great. I was with someone who has been coming here for years, but we couldn't really manage a nice chat. It's a shame when you recognize your customer but pay so little attention. Yes, the place was full later in the evening, but a little while beforehand would have been possible. But, because the pancakes were good, 4 stars anyway.

Disappointing experience. We went here with our family during the recent May holidays. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing, and we felt the price-quality ratio was off. I ordered the salmon specialty. The pancake itself was very thick and soft, not crispy as we had hoped. The amount of salmon was minimal, and the garnish consisted of only a few arugula leaves and a few capers. The onion was in large chunks instead of finely chopped, which did not improve the balance of flavors. The fries were also not okay and very greasy. The garnish on the plate, such as cucumber, looked wilted. Our children also left their plates untouched because they didn't like it. The service was friendly, but the food made it an unsuccessful outing for us. We had expected more for the price. It's a shame, because we had been looking forward to it.

We got a special today: soup, pancake with one topping, and ice cream for dessert for the special price of €16.95. It was really meager. Three spoonfuls of soup in the container, pancake with minimal toppings (extra wasn't allowed, although you paid an extra €10, which the chef apparently didn't want to bother with), and dessert with one piece of fruit and one scoop of ice cream. I felt really ripped off. And then they say that eating out doesn't have to be expensive. No, I understand that with these portions, you're asking for so little. We tried it once, but not again. The pancake wasn't particularly special either; I've had much better.

The pancakes tasted good. There was also an option for gluten-free pancakes. It's a shame the male waitress gave the impression he wasn't in the mood and had had a rough night. That kind of takes the place down a bit. I'm used to better.
