Eetcafe Fijn in Centrum

Great restaurant. We had a delicious meal and ordered a salad. It was a bit on the small side, but the taste more than made up for it. The service was also friendly. We had a lovely evening!

Had lunch there today. My mother had a nice lunch: soup with a sandwich with tuna salad and one with a rendang croquette. When she received it, it turned out only one slice of bread had been cut in half. There were also two mini croquettes that were fried for far too long. On the other hand, the soup was almost cold. My father and I both had the burger, but the fries that came with it were also much too overcooked. The food itself is served on a wooden board, where you can clearly see exactly where the previous person cut it and where it was already broken.

I had a delicious meal here recently; the staff was very friendly! I had a large sharing platter with various snacks. It is lovely to sit on the terrace at Fijn Apeldoorn!

We ate on the terrace at Fijn in Apeldoorn on Friday evening. It was 10:00 PM when we went to pay. There was a young man serving us who let out a very loud burp. I said I found that really rude, and I was literally told to shut my big mouth. I find this really so rude. Michiel and Erika, if your staff treats your customers like this, I will definitely make a case out of it.

We had a delicious meal and had reserved a spot on the terrace with a welcome sign for us. The cappuccino with aged cheese was delicious, and after that, we had tender, medium hare steak. The dessert was also irresistible, with plenty of choice. The service was friendly and welcoming, and we will definitely be back here again.

We wanted to grab a bite to eat after walking through the city. With our matcha still in hand, we sat down and looked at the menu. Soon, a young waitress approached us and asked in a rather abrupt and aggressive tone: “What would you like to DRINK?” We indicated that we wanted to eat something first and have a drink later, but were told that we had to order drinks as well because we still had a matcha tea in our hands. We found that a strange approach. We came here to eat first, didn't we? In the end, we ordered drinks immediately as well, WHICH WE WOULD HAVE DONE ANYWAY, but partly due to the way it was presented. The bitterballen were fine, but the teriyaki chicken had a very strange aftertaste. We therefore left all the chicken untouched and pointed this out politely. According to the staff, there was nothing wrong with it, but we really didn't like it and found it left a strange aftertaste. All in all, this was the last time we will be sitting here. The service left much to be desired, and in the kitchen, too, it would be good if dishes were tasted more thoroughly before being served.

Had a nice drink there on King's Day. Delicious apple pie. We did have to wait quite a long time to get it, and it was still very quiet at the time.

I had lunch here on Thursday, April 23rd. The service was fine, but the price-quality ratio was poor. I had ordered a "fine lunch," but I received two half sandwiches: one with watery tuna salad and one with nothing on it that was supposed to have a rendang croquette. I held the waiter up, after which I received two small mini croquettes. I had to pay €15.50. It wasn't even worth half that amount.

It was lovely to sit there with great music. At first, we wanted to sit at the table, but then we had to move to the other table because it was reserved. I understand we could have sat at the other table because it wasn't reserved. So, we went from having chocolate milk to a glass of wine, a beer, and then more wine because it was so cozy. I called my sister-in-law and told her, "Can you finish your meal? Go have a nice meal here." The waitress came, and I said, "Can I have another glass of wine?" This young lady told my colleague that this table would be reserved for 20 minutes. But first of all, you were busy with the chairs, and I doubt there would be exactly three people there. Anyway, we could have left because we only had 20 minutes left, so we couldn't order anything else. A bit of a shame.

We ordered a drinks platter with a small group. It was well-organized, with plenty of choices, and served quickly.

We had a lovely meal at our daughter's recommendation. A salad with fried prawns and trout served with sweet potato. My friend had a double burger. It was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cake afterward was also delicious :) Peace and quiet, with a homey atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

After a beer, we asked for a drinks platter. They asked if it could be 50/50 vegetarian. No problem, was the answer. We got the drinks platter, but it didn't have any vegetarian options, and it was a lot of meat. When we asked if everything was to our liking, they agreed that there was a lot of meat and suggested adding some spring rolls. You'd think it was fantastic. Nothing could be further from the truth. When we paid, the spring rolls were simply added to the bill, while the drinks platter actually cost €23.50 per person. Also for vegetarians, €23.50 per person. When I mentioned it again, the only response was: I'll pass it on to the kitchen. If it's not possible, just say so! Then it's no problem. Now, you pay €23.50 for some fries, chips, and bread.

Delicious food, perfect for me as a smaller eater. I didn't have a starter and of course dessert, but I left satisfied. With this cold weather, it's important that the door is closed, otherwise you're in a draft. The acoustics are poor, which probably depends on the location. Friendly staff who could do with a few more rounds. Again, I left satisfied.

Great atmosphere, small-scale setup, but the food was delicious. A large group of eight was no problem.

August 29: After visiting Het Loo Palace, we stopped here for a drink and then some food. We sat on an outdoor terrace. The service was reasonable, but certainly not fast. We managed to get a table in the corner, which was great! There was a reasonable menu. There were four of us. Half of us had a hamburger, the other half a pork tenderloin satay. The hamburger was good. The satay was very mediocre. They were also rather skimpy on the peanut sauce. The coffee was okay. The prices weren't cheap at around €30, including a drink and coffee.

Was hier met twee vriendinnen. We kozen dit terras omdat het er gezellig uitzag en we zin hadden in een hapje. De carpaccio salade was echt heel lekker, en ze hielden netjes rekening met mijn pinda-allergie – de pindadressing werd vervangen door truffelmayo, wat supergoed smaakte. Ook de bourgondische bitterballen waren een hit. Al met al een hele fijne avond gehad.

Nice atmosphere, service took a very long time unfortunately even though we were almost the only ones. But otherwise we enjoyed it

Delicious food, nicely served. Tables and chairs weren't clean. There was hair on the table and hair on the chair cushions; it didn't look very fresh.

At Cafe Fijn, the food isn't great, in our experience. The quality has deteriorated significantly. The farmer's omelet with bread is definitely not recommended: the egg was beaten too long, probably before cooking, causing it to fall apart into a wet, mushy mess on the plate. It was served with two limp, fresh white sandwiches that lacked flavor. The vegetables, etc., in the so-called omelet also lacked flavor. The cheese was recognizable by its melted consistency but not discernible in terms of taste. We also had bread with Surinamese egg salad, the same limp, flavorless bread, the egg salad nothing special, and the small lettuce on the plate added nothing. Disappointing, a waste of money, and not a pleasant dining experience! The service was good, polite, and quick.

We ate some meat and it was tasty. Nothing extraordinary but like countryside style meat with veggies. Have to order sides like fries. Which were superb as usually in Holland they are🧡

Fijn Apeldoorn heeft een fijn terras aan het gezellige Raadhuisplein. Vriendelijke bediening , redelijke prijzen en heerlijke verse jus. Ook binnen ziet het er gezellig uit.

The atmosphere is cozy and surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, which was a nice change. However, the service was quite slow, even though there weren’t many customers. We had to wait a while before placing our order, and it took some time to arrive. On the bright side, the staff were friendly and polite. Overall, it was an okay experience.

Cocktails have little taste and you pay €10 for it. I think that's a waste of money. Too bad….

Went for coffee on Queen's Day. And we received a fantastic welcome from cheerful and friendly staff. The coffee was perfect, as was the mon chou cake, which tasted delicious. Here you really get value for your money. The staff is very pleasant and chatty. We'll have something to eat soon at this good, cozy restaurant.

Lunch was fine. But you have to wait a long time for it while other tables got something much faster. I was approached a few times, but it would come every time, after 40 minutes it came, but it was still missing for 1 person, another 5 minute wait. Very unfortunate while the food was very tasty.

Heel slecht eten! Geen gare en stinkende slip tong! Daarnaast een pluk wilde spinazie bladen zonder dressing en koude aardappel frieten! Geen aanraden!

We went to this lunchroom for the first time last Saturday and ordered a cup of coffee and apple pie. The waitress was very friendly and quick. That was a plus. But the apple pie was made with unpeeled apples that were tough after baking. We left half of it. And the coffee was lukewarm milk that had been left next to a carton of coffee, which had no coffee flavor at all and was lukewarm to cold! A real shame, because the place feels warm. Perhaps there's room for improvement! We'll definitely try it again, as this was just a snapshot. Hopefully, it'll be better then!

Only really cozy cafe in Apeldoorn! Attentive, fast and sweet girls in the service, and delicious affordable food! Also nice that there is a real cafe part at the bar where you can drink a beer at the bar 🍻

Had a wonderful evening at Fijn! For the Christmas dinner with a group of 16 colleagues, we were looking for a good location and ended up at Fijn. 🎄 They thought along well about the possibilities within the budget and dietary requirements. There was a choice menu, which had something for everyone. I often go to Fijn, and as always we were helped very friendly! Thanks for the good service and until next time! 😊

Had a great meal with 4 people. Service very friendly and helpful. In addition to dishes on the menu, also something off the menu. Great atmosphere, nice to eat with a small group. We sat at a round table, it was a nice spot. Recommended for this money. You can eat and drink here for a great price.

The food was good. Staff was friendly. A downside is that it took a long time before we were helped (ordering food, time between courses). Also, my 4-year-old daughter sometimes seemed to be 'forgotten', e.g. no glass with a large bottle of water or no time to order a starter for her, but immediately forward the order to the kitchen. Another downside: we were sitting at table 12, the table in front of the terrace door. I understand that that door is useful when the terrace is used. Because it is now December, access to that door is not necessary. Both the table and my seat half blocked the door and yet about 20 customers felt it necessary to pass me outside. The result was the cold wind that came in every time, while I was sitting in front of the door. I was almost inclined to stick a piece of paper on the door with 'No exit'. Perhaps a tip for the restaurant. That sign can be removed when the terrace is put back into use and no seating has been created in front of the door.

Leuke ongedwongen ambiance. Heerlijk eten, goede hoeveelheid en goede kwaliteit. Keuze was niet heel ruim van de kaart. Dranken kaart top! Bediening goed en correct.

Gegeten bij eetcafé Fijn. Vooraf: De Carpaccio matig. Breekbrood met 2 smeersels. 1 smeersel met tomaat was zo pittig dat ik er een half glas bier achteraan moest gooien. Ander smeersel iets met knoflook, vreselijk slecht. Hoofdgerecht: mijn vrouw en ik ossehaaspuntjes met champions en uien. Er zat geen smaak aan, champignons heb ze niet gevonden, vlees zo taai( dit kan nooit ossehaas zijn). Dan 2 snee brood erbij en een bult sla( absurt gewoon) Gelijk de serveerster erbij gehaald. Toen gaf ze aan" ja wij hebben een nieuwe kok en die moet het nog leren. Ik heb toen gevraagd om spareribs( waren op) toen ribeye genomen, mijn vrouw niets zou van de rekening gehaald worden. Die had haar buik er al vol van. De ribeye was ook zo slecht, smaakloos, taai, echt super slecht, heb het maar zo gelaten, was er behoorlijk klaar mee. Bij het afrekenen kreeg ik de rekening met daarop ook de ossehaas toen weer aangeven dit klopt niet, uiteindelijk een nieuwe rekening. Vroeg ze of we lekker gegeten hadden, weer alles aangeven, weer ga de hoofdserveerster aan dat de kok alles nog moest leren. De eigenaar moet zich schamen met zo'n kok. Op de rekening Is de ribeye keuken div. De prijs/kwaliteit is super slecht. Schandalig wat je krijgt voor je geld. zo jammer dit. Mijn vrouw zou volgende week met haar vriendinen gaan lunchen, nooit komen wij hier meer, is gewoon je geld weggooien.

Ate at Eetcafé Fijn. Starter: The Carpaccio mediocre. Tear bread with 2 spreads. 1 spread with tomato was so spicy that I had to throw half a glass of beer after it. Other spread something with garlic, terribly bad. Main course: my wife and I had tenderloin tips with mushrooms and onions. There was no taste to it, I couldn't find any mushrooms, meat so tough (this can never be tenderloin). Then 2 slices of bread with it and a pile of lettuce (absurd) I immediately called the waitress. Then she said "yes we have a new chef and he still has to learn. I then asked for spareribs (they were gone) then took ribeye, my wife would not be taken off the bill. She was already full of it. The ribeye was also so bad, tasteless, tough, really super bad, I just left it like that, I was pretty done with it. When paying I got the bill with the tenderloin on it then again indicated that this was not correct, eventually a new bill. She asked if we had eaten well, again indicated everything, again the head waitress said that the chef still had to learn everything. The owner should be ashamed with such a chef. On the bill Is the ribeye kitchen div. The price/quality is super bad. Scandalous what you get for your money. What is positive is the staff and the atmospheric place, such a shame. My wife was going to have lunch with her friends next week, we will never come here again, it is just throwing your money away.

Kleine porties, gewenste hoofdgerechten niet beschikbaar, ravioli met coquilles en gamba’s met slechts 4 gamba’s en zonder coquilles, desserts niet beschikbaar, eerst niet geserveerd en koffie voor de desserts terwijl was afgesproken daarna.

Nice service.. but the rest is far below par.. tenderloin tips.. 28.50 in a small cast iron pan.. order fries separately.. order hot vegetables separately... a few pieces of tenderloin cannot be chewed and set aside.. after asking whether everything was tasty and replied that there were a few pieces that were unchewable! It was said... yes, it can happen... 😕 Was the rest good..?? I'll pass this on... after not having dessert and having dinner with the two of us, having had a few glasses of wine and paying a bill of 160 euros... this was the 1st and last time of my visit to nice cafe..

Nice restaurant right on the big square in Apeldoorn. You can sit well here. Especially in the lounge furniture. We just had a drink. But the service and advice were very good. Good beer on tap!

A wonderful place for a drink, lunch or dinner. The coffee is excellent. You can go here for everything, an extensive lunch, dinner or a snack. Try a portion of fries or a snack platter. Not expensive and delicious! The service is very good. The location is perfect, right in the center on the nicest square in Apeldoorn.

Cozy terrace with friendly staff.

Great small cafe for drinks and diner. We had some bread as a starter. It was still warm and had two dips with it. Our main was a shaslick spies and salmon in filo pastry. It was really well made. Price was fair and not to expensive. Friendly staff and they also had a children's menu and feeding chair.

It is always nice to sit in the cafe. The camembert from the oven was not very special and neither was the additional bread and raw vegetables. The duo of game was very tasty and so were the fries and salad.

What a surprise when you walk in here spontaneously. Cosy, original and tastefully decorated. It was busy but luckily there was still a table for two. Despite the crowds, quickly helped by enthusiastic employees. Delicious and sufficient food. Top.

What a nice, cozy tent! The price-quality ratio is very good, the service super friendly and the food delicious. There were four of us. Two had the Swiss cheese fondue, one the vegetable salad with gorgonzola and one the carpaccio salad. Nice portions. And the delicious fries made it complete!

Friendly and super cheerful staff. Only had coffee so I don't know what the cuisine is like, but I saw tasty things on the menu.

Cozy little restaurant with very tasty upscale food and reasonable prices. Very friendly service. We have a problem with allergies and the waitress always went into the kitchen for us and asked whether it was possible for us and, if necessary, found alternatives. It's a bit hidden, but definitely worth it.

Had dinner here on Saturday September 30th. Super nice cafe! The food was great, but the service was even better, it's not really possible, but still... But there was one person who stood out far above that and that was the young man of less than 30 years old!! I have been in the catering industry for a while, but this young man was a 10++

I had a really terrible experience in this restaurant. The servers were shockingly rude and showed a complete lack of friendliness and professionalism. To make matters worse, the food was served cold, as if it had been sitting around for ages. And to top it all off, I discovered mold on my steak plate. I wouldn't wish this dining experience on my worst enemy. Avoid this place at all costs!
