Galippos in Centrum

I enjoy eating here. The tablets used for ordering are always brought quickly by a friendly employee. You also never have to wait long for your food, and the food always tastes fresh and good. Last Wednesday, I went here for dinner with a few friends. We arrived just before the kitchen closed. As a result, we noticed quite a bit of pressure to order quickly. In my opinion, that took away a bit of the comfort and relaxed atmosphere that I normally find so pleasant about Galippos. Otherwise, the food was good as always, and the service was friendly. I will therefore gladly keep coming here, but I hope that in such a situation, a little more space is given to order at a leisurely pace.

Great! Always good food, fast service, and generous opening hours. A cold Efes to go with it would make it perfect.

I ate here tonight, and honestly, this was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a similar restaurant in the Netherlands. The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared just right. The staff were generally incredibly friendly and hospitable. However, I do have one reservation. A friend of mine had brought his own bottle of water, and we were reminded several times that he was not allowed to drink it inside. I understand that a restaurant sells its own food and drinks and has rules regarding this, but the way this was handled felt a bit unnecessarily strict and pushy. In my opinion, this could have been handled more calmly and friendly, especially since there were no other issues. The restaurant itself looks neat and feels spacious, open, and well-maintained. I felt comfortable and welcome there from the very first moment. Unfortunately, it is a bit of a drive for me from Den Bosch, but when I am in the area again, I definitely know where I will be eating. Despite the reservation, it is highly recommended!

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. The waitress who served me (she was wearing a gold necklace with an Arabic name) was very rude and unfriendly. She spoke disrespectfully and made it clear that she had little interest in the customers.

Way too expensive for what you get; the mixed platters are shameful, especially just chicken instead of meat.

Had a delicious Adana with Köfte here. Good portions and average price. Friendly staff. In terms of space, it is very large inside (there is even a play area for small children).

Very bad food. The worst Adana kebab I’ve ever eaten. There were literally only 10 fries with it and that was it — no salad, nothing. The meat was like rubber and had no taste at all. I’ve never eaten anything worse!!! A complete disaster.

Bad service in the restaurant. Red rice was sold out, so I ordered white rice only to receive a handful of cold rice. 10 minutes later, I heard the white rice was sold out too. Angry customers stood up and left the place. The chicken came off the BBQ burnt. And to top it all off, the Turkish bread was sold out as well. They shamelessly brought replacement hamburger buns. "Yes, sorry sir, our Turkish bread is sold out." Surely you communicate that? I don't want chemical buns from a package with my meat. On top of that, you have been so stingy for years, giving one slice of soggy durum from a package with the meat instead of a nice warm piece of Turkish bread. No more Galippos for me.

The kebab didn't come with bread; we asked for more and it still didn't come. The meatballs were undercooked; we cut them open and found raw minced meat. They replaced them, but one was still raw. There was no friendly service whatsoever, how sad. They have a huge grill there, but not even a single dip; you eat kebab and it's served with lettuce and mayonnaise squeezed on top, which was the strangest thing I found.

We dined at your restaurant today. The service was slow and I had ordered lamb chops (porzola) which were absolutely not filling; only 4 chops arrived, 4 small pieces of meat. We had also ordered pide, but unfortunately that was undercooked and doughy...

I just ordered sutlac to take away but they took it out of the container, so the top got mixed with the rest

Ordering food via a tablet is manageable, not my preference, but okay. However, if you're sitting at a table with several people and only get one tablet, it's certainly not hospitable or convenient. Didn't everyone always get a menu? Plus, there are untrained restaurant staff walking around. The food is poorly prepared; raw steak was well-done. Of course, cash payment wasn't accepted yet. Go Woke, Go Broke! It certainly didn't have much to do with Turkish food, and certainly not with Turkish hospitality.

Staff and friend of Face-timing isn't good for atmosphere. Good place to eat, work a bit and casually wait till the kids are done with their lessons. If there only was wifi-internet available :-)

We were very disappointed... We had booked online two days in advance and were a large group. When we arrived, to our surprise, the restaurant was closed... We came for nothing, and we find it a real shame that the reservation system isn't up to date. My advice: if you really want to eat here, make your reservation by phone.

The food is good but there is little meat, 1 skewer for 2 meals, so that is disappointing and you have to pay full price.

The food is very salty. No flavor. The sis kebab smelled bad. The service was good, though. Soups are microwaved. Almost nothing is freshly prepared, except the kebab. The pide is bone dry and the dough is absolutely disgusting. We spent 160 euros for 3 adults for very poor quality food. Unfortunately, this was our last time.

Yesterday we had another delicious meal at Galippo's, the interior is beautiful, the staff very friendly, for me it was no different than usual.

The food was seriously delicious. It didn't even take long and it was nice and hot. The pirzola is definitely recommended. If you want to have a nice dinner with your family, definitely go to Galippo's.

The food is absolutely disgusting. Everything is microwaved. You can't get any worse food than this. The soup tastes like vomit. The bulgur is cold. We spent over 50 euros per person for absolute dog food. How dare they? This is simply unacceptable. I don't think this place will last long.

The food I ate here today was simply inedible. The meat I ate was so bad I couldn't swallow it. It was also extremely cold in the restaurant, and everyone was wearing coats. I was practically freezing. Better luck next time.

We waited 45 minutes for two eggs. During that time, we only received some bread. We eventually left, but we wanted to pay for the bread because my husband had already taken a bite. To our surprise, the waitress told us we had to pay for the eggs as well—even though we never received them! Instead of apologizing for the long wait, we were treated with a nasty attitude. A truly terrible experience; we will never return!

I had a ribeye steak. It tasted wonderful. I am a big fan og lots of salad, and I got that. Peber on the table even that it was a Turkish restaurant.

I went to Galippos in Apeldoorn and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I had the mixed grill, which tasted fine, but everything else was below expectations. The milkshake was on the pricey side and tasted absolutely awful – definitely not recommended. The service was also grumpy and unfriendly, which didn't improve the atmosphere at the table. The most annoying thing was that there were four of us, and one of us had to wait a very long time for his order, while the rest had already received their food. It was very sloppy and unsociable not being able to eat together. In short: I wouldn't go back. There are plenty of better restaurants in Apeldoorn where the quality, service, and hospitality are top-notch.

We went out for dinner this weekend. The staff member was very grumpy. I asked her if I'd ordered red rice, but I got bulgur. She reacted unprofessionally. I won't be going back to this restaurant. It's a real shame.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. The food was tough and greasy, and when we pointed this out, they simply insisted that it was "just the way it should be." We received no compensation or solution whatsoever. A waste of money. We won't be going back!

I advise against going, and if you do, pay close attention. The food, rice soup, etc., is heated in the microwave; you hear the doors constantly opening and closing. And we pay a hefty price for that. Instead of neatly handing over cutlery, they just throw it on the table. The price is poor, and the meat has a nasty taste. The lachmacuns are like pizzas. The staff shouts at each other too much and walk around like sacks of salt.

I came for the first time and if they asked me if I would come again, I would say no because it is a taste that is not worth giving up.

Delicious Turkish food! We ordered it for work, and it was neatly packaged! We had a durum Adana kofta, a tuna salad, and a kofta dish with pilaf. Everything was delicious! 5 stars!

Outrageously expensive! What you see in the photo cost us €87.00, including two sodas. We confronted the waitress, asking if this was a mistake, but she said this small portion of food (without any side dishes or extras) should indeed cost €87.00. Absolutely outrageous.

We went for breakfast. Lentil soup also ordered which was delicious, but what I found a pity is that you had to order your breakfast 1 by 1 while I am always used to getting a whole breakfast plate. So separate plate for tomato and cucumber, separate order for egg, separate order for bread. And I paid 60 euros. I found that a pity.

Unfriendly chef and food was mediocre! We ordered two entrecotes, one of which was much smaller and thinner than the other. When we mentioned this, we got a thin piece of lamb instead of the small one, which was not entrecote. This was also not tasty, so we asked for an explanation, to which the chef reacted very irritated. In the end, we ordered a döner dish. That was quite okay. The service was nice, but acting irritated and simply not giving us what we ordered is really not acceptable. Too expensive for what you get! We will definitely not be coming back here.

The Gyros Spot Apeldoorn.... How can you ruin someone's appetite in one go? €6.50 shipping costs!! Reason enough to never order anything there! Yuck! This place is not worth your money. So save yourself the trouble.

We didn't make a reservation, but we were lucky to get a spot. Some of us were sent away because it was full. Ordering is done via a tablet. The phone rings constantly, which is a bit annoying. The store always seems to be full. The service was accordingly stressed, but still friendly. The food took a long time to arrive, but that's no surprise considering the number of guests. It was delicious. We definitely wouldn't even eat there knowing we had to make a reservation and the longer wait.

First of all, we have to give credit for the good service. The plateau soup was very good, the rest was terrible. Also, why are bread, mayonnaise and tea, which should be served after the meal, charged? I got a “Beyti” and the portion was too small for the price. Taste was not bad. I also got doner and it was greasy but the price was ok. I didn’t see any doner roll behind the counter though, I don’t know how they make doner, was it frozen or something??🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ Kofte sandwich is 8 euros. Although koftes was dry, it was ok because the plate was full of salad and stuff. Kiymali pide was good. The waitresses was friendly. The place was clean.

Pide was good. Doner was not fresh but nice price for this quality. Kofte is scandal. They charge 4 koftes for 8 euro lol. Beyti, adana, iskender were disgrace and scandal. Also I believe this is same for all the pricy products in the menu. So overall this is solid 2. Also chefs so staffs behind of the counter were speaking loud which is really uncomfortable for the customers.

Had a very tasty soup with tenderloin as a menu and baklava with ice cream for desert for an iftar meal. It was very tasty. I found coffee very bitter, but my friend thought it was catfish.

I ordered food and told the owner I wanted to eat, but he said the restaurant was full and he would help the other customers first. When I indicated that I was also coming for iftar, he said that the restaurant was only for fasting customers and that he could not help me. I told him that I was also fasting and that I came for iftar because I came from work and was delayed. But he said he couldn't help me and that he would help the customers. When I said that I am also a customer, he remained rude and refused to help me further. This was a disappointing experience, especially during Ramadan when hospitality is important.”

The food is ideal and it is easy to find parking in front. Tea is also suitable as a pot for going out, but unfortunately, salad should be served with the meal. We paid 5€ for a plate of 1 tomato, 1 cucumber and half an onion, so I deducted points.

It's fine to eat occasionally. Also a play area for the children. Not a pleasant experience yesterday. The staff clearly didn't feel like it. Plates and glasses were flung onto the table as if we were a bunch of pigs. Rice was very spoiled and was handled quite laconically. Shame!

1 tablet ordering system is not useful when you want to order with a group of 10 people. Provide at least 2 menu cards so that others at the table can preview what can be ordered via that one tablet. This is at the expense of service. Atmosphere diminishes because table mates had to wait unnecessarily for a tablet. After ordering, the food arrived quite quickly, but the desire to eat had already disappeared by waiting for the order tablet. Food in general was adequate-well tasty. You will have to check for service yourself when you arrive with a large group. Ask for extra tablets or wait patiently!

Had dinner with my colleagues lamb chop, lamb skewer had a nasty smell to it. Only chicken dish was reasonable. Service was slow, but really really slow. if you're busy, I can imagine. It was completely quiet and I only got 1 glass of Fanta after 15 minutes. There will be no more repetition, Too bad!!!

Our food was prepared quickly. You really get what you pay for here. In addition to traditional Turkish dishes, they also serve kapsalon and sandwiches with kebab. Many dishes come with a salad and a side dish, such as rice and/or fries. The employees were very friendly. We spent about 10-15 euros per person. We had a really extensive meal. You can also order via a tablet, so you don't have to wait for an available employee to place your order. The mixed grill for two people was more than enough for three people. Definitely recommended.

A nice restaurant, and the most important thing is that it is Halal. The prices are reasonable and the food was very tasty. The play corner for children was very practical, especially during the long waiting times for food. The meat was delicious, but the baklava seemed old. The staff was friendly. When we come back to Apeldoorn, we will definitely eat here again.
