No problem getting seated on a Sunday. Good brunch food and great coffee (though the coffee is a bit more expensive than I'm used to .. but then I am in Amsterdam ☺️ )

The Coffee is sour. I had pancakes with ham, cheese and Egg. Tasted ok, just super effortless food and no love in cooking.

The service was disastrous.. we order our food way ahead off 2 other customer but we received ours later than them.. we did remind the staff twice on our order but still delayed. The staff should tell us earlier if they are short-staffed.. please avoid this place. (p.s: the waiter did mention to compensate us with free drinks but i declined as i'm not keen on getting free food..)

We had a fantastic experience in the Argentinian restaurant with our waiter Steven. Matched our wine perfectly with steak, was brilliant fun in the meantime with our meal and highly conscientious on making sure our table had everything we needed throughout. 5/5 and would give more stars to Steven if I could. It is unacceptable to have to realize that the speculation is total. Virtually undrinkable coffee. Not even comparable to the name of the brand, which I have known very well for years. "Nespresso compatible" capsules to be completely thrown away. Both blends. After having made at least 15 attempts for quality and also having changed the water and coffee machine. Damage to the company and poison for consumers. Bad choice.

It was cold near Amsterdam Central Station and I was looking for a cafe, but couldn't find a good place, so I just went to the one in front of me. At first, I didn't even know it was a pancake place, but there were pancakes on the menu, so I ordered one when I went in. There were separate European-style pancake menus and American-style pancake menus, but I prefer sweet things, so I ordered American-style strawberry pancakes and strawberry frappuccino. When I looked at my card statement, it came out to 22.25 euros. Pancakes are baked right after you order them. I happened to be sitting right next to the cooking area, and the smell of the food being roasted was really nice. When the food is finished, they bring it directly to your seat. As you can see, there are quite a few strawberries on top. It's refreshing and sweet because of the strawberry jam, and the dough is soft, which is just what I like. If you are unfamiliar with bacon-topped pancakes, fruit pancakes would also be a good choice. The portion size was quite large, so it was a bit much for me to eat alone. Looking at the customers coming into the store, it seemed like they were mostly locals stopping by for a cup of coffee. I felt a lot of local atmosphere and it was cozy and nice. The staff are also friendly and nice. I especially remember the lady who paid the bill because she was so kind!

Finalmente pedimos 4 tortitas, 2 cafés y 2 cafés con leche de fresa helados. 2 cafés y 2 vasos de leche simple, fría y espumada fueron entregados a nuestra mesa. El camarero era amable y agradable. Revisamos nuestra orden con él y volvió a verificar con la adolescente sucia en la caja. Se acercó de una manera agresiva y combativa y exigió saber qué pasaba con los cafés con leche helados que había hecho. Señalamos que no eran helados ni café con leche y no tenían ningún sabor a fresa. Dijo que café con leche significa leche y eso es lo que tiene. Era muy desagradable. También solo entregaron 2 de nuestros pedidos de panqueques. Luego comenzó a servir a otros clientes. Tuvimos que volver para pedir nuestras próximas 2 tortitas, más de media hora después. La señora que hace las tortitas era agradable y profesional - pero el niño sulky grosero no tiene nada que ver con el servicio al cliente y este restaurante es mejor evitar. Esta es probablemente la razón por la que te hacen pagar como ordenas, ya que deben saber que su servicio es muy malo. Las tortitas también eran demasiado saladas.

Quite expensive, especially the coffee which wasn’t particularly good. The caramelised banana pancakes is just pancakes with regular bananas and caramel sauce. Nothing special.

Pancakes are quite deceiving in a good way! With how thin they are you'd think they're easy to eat, I was really full towards the end and it's definitely enough to last you until later. I had the caramelised banana. Tasted great, was a bit crispy in the middle but other than that I was really happy.

We‘ve ordered two Iced Latte and two Strawberry Iced Latte. At the End we became two cold coffees with ice cubes and two milk glasses with some strawberry jelly at the bottom and no coffee. It was not what we‘ve expected and all of that for a way too big amount of money. Das ist Wuche. Nie wieder, slay.

Horrible experience. We thought it was going to be a fancy café. We wanted to order and were told that they didn’t have bacon (on a Saturday morning). After changing our order plans, we decided to switch to a sweet pancake, only to be informed that they didn’t have bananas either. This meant that half of the menu was unavailable. I had to ask them what they did have because I felt I was wasting my time deciding when they lacked so many ingredients. After ordering an apple pancake (16€), it didn’t come with any syrup or toppings. It was just apple, raisins, and the pancake. Very disappointing. After finishing, we said goodbye and the waitresses didn’t say anything to us. I feel that they don’t care about their customers...

We thought it would be a fancy place, especially considering the prices (12€ for a nutella pancake). My friends and I made a simple order and they forgot one of the two pancakes we ordered, and they didn't seem too excited to be there. Kind of dry mood. Disappointed.

La chica que recibió las órdenes fue un poco grosera. En primer lugar, estoy bastante seguro de que se burlaba de mi acento, ya que el inglés no es mi primer idioma. The milkshakes were really undrinkable. They were warm and didn't even taste like chocolate. My friends almost threw up after this milkshake and got really bad stomach aches at home. Don't get the chocolate milkshake!!!!

We loved this place and had our first bacon cheese pancake, and we loved it. Maybe a bit decadent, but oh, so good. We are going to start doing these back home in California.

Fui a este lugar en Amsterdam en un viaje de amigos, fue horrible. El personal era súper grosero, la chica que nos atendió nunca sonrió y actuó como si la estuviéramos molestando, parecía joven pero tenía la peor actitud, todo superior y esas cosas. arruinaron mi pedido a lo grande. Pedí leche de almendras y leche de vaca. Soy alérgica y podría enfermarme mucho. Se lo dijo a la camarera, se negó a hacer otra y mintió, diciendo que era leche de almendras cuando no lo era. Las tortitas tardaron una eternidad, eran secas, insípidas y horribles. El personal fue grosero entre sí y con nosotros. Malos tragos, mala comida, malos precios. En general, experiencia horrible! No vayas allí.

The place looks great and the food is good but the staff were not friendly towards each other or the customers and we had to wait a long time for our pancakes.

I ordered a pancake and a cup of coffee, paid €21.50 , coffe arrived in 10 mins bit waited for the pancake another 20 mins.. half an hour waiting for being served.. only two were working.. one is doing all the drinks etc.. another girl was cooking, waching the dishes in the same time i guess because there were no eanough plates and cutleries as well as staff Tasty food but poor service!!

The dutch pancake with caramelized apple, raisins and cinnamon was good, but pricey. The service wasn’t too friendly and overall its too expensive for what you’re getting. One dutch pancake costs around 16-18€ which I believe to be too much.

The pancake was very good, but way too expensive. We shared one because we didn’t feel like paying 18€ each for a pancake. We also ordered 2 dirty chai lattes which were 9€ each. Normally you would pay around 6€ or less for one.

One man efficiency: pancakes ice-cream, cafe latte, table clearings, with pleasantries- love it!! Still, the ice cream could a large scoop.

They got confused with a simple order and wouldn't believe me until they checked the bill. Then they said there's no time and they can't give me my order? I just asked for a refund and the lady stomped off, and by that I mean she actually stamping her feet! I'd be more offended if it wasn't so funny. In the process she smacked the plate into the wall, spilling maple syrup all over the stairs. Ridiculous. We stayed another 20 minutes while a friend finished their food and the whole time the manager was shouting and berating her staff for a mistake she made. Also very expensive. They charge €3 to add a banana to a Nutella pancake... Expect approx €16-18 for a typical pancake. Honestly there's so many nice places nearby, just try somewhere else.

The coffees and pancakes are excellent, especially the Dutch ones. The only issue is the price. Pancakes for 17, 18€? Yikes. Large Latte Macchiato for 7.75€...owch...I don't know how much the rent is to justify the prices but anyways it's a nice little Café. If it wasn't for the high prices I would give a 5 star rating.

Catastrophic reception. No hello, the waitress is on her phone. Then this very unpleasant person asked me something, at the time I didn't understand, I said I don't speak Dutch, sorry. She tells me it's not Dutch but English. I then say I'm sorry, I didn't understand. The person says to me have you already ordered? That means no, I've been standing in front of her for 10 minutes. I told him no, but I chose. There began the circus of “I don’t understand, you don’t speak English, that’s not English, I don’t understand anything”. I'm willing to hear that my accent is frankly not great... from there to welcoming me like this, I didn't understand what caused this attack on me. Left without ordering anything, what a shame to lose customers like this. Place to avoid absolutely

Chose this place for breakfast on the first day. Absolutely did not disappoint. The vibe was very chilled. Great coffee and the pancakes were AMAZING. The chef I believe named Andrea was so friendly! Definitely recommend, as there was no other place I found on my trip that served coffee and pancakes as good as this place!

Worst service and experience I’ve ever had in my life. Every normal question I asked about the pancakes on the menu was called “rude, not friendly, sarcastic or taken in a bad way” by the 2 ladies in the shop. The taste was not good as well and the energy in the place was very negative

2 recent passages. 1 first with outdated service (one person missing) but the menu is tempting... so we come back 2 days later to try the Danish crepes as a main course and American pancakes for dessert. A delight!! Beautiful decoration and welcoming service.

And to have this coffee bar in Amsterdam is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of the city. Usually, I prefer a simple coffee, and here, it's consistently impeccable. Staff: professional, friendly, and always attentive without being intrusive. Their dedication ensures that every visitor feels not just welcomed but truly valued.

Bestellungen kann man nicht am Tisch nur vorne am Tresen. Hmm okay damit kann man noch leben. Die Pancakes waren super lecker und die Milchshakes und Latte machiato auch sehr lecker. Die Preise gehen könnte etwas günstiger sein naja für 5 Getränke und zwei Waffeln 60€. Leider wurde ein Getränk vergessen und bei Nachfrage kam keine Reaktion. Erst nach erneutem nachfragen wurde gesagt das der noch nicht bezahlt ist und es den noch nicht gibt.

This is a cute little place with good coffee. However, this place gets five stars because of the staff. We were in a tough spot with our train out of Amsterdam and the staff here we're incredibly nice and helpful. If I could give ten stars I would. There are nice people, mean people, and then those who go out of their way to help and the staff here did that. Thank you so much for the welcoming and I recommend anyone to come try coffee and pancakes here.

Chef had a poor attitude. I asked for an apple and bacon 3 times and they served me an apple and cheese, figured no problem i'll just let them know so they can make me the one i asked for. The pancake they served me was also raw on the inside. When i mentioned it the chef and one of the hosteses said i ordered an apple and cheese but thanfully the younger hostest backed me up. Instead of serving me what i asked for the chef just cooked the bacon and served it on a plate. Wouldn't have been a problem if the pancake was actually cooked properly anyway. Poor food, poor attidue. Service was 3 stars thanks to the lovely young lady who backed me up.

Pancakes w chocolate were more like thin heavy crepes but there certainly was ample chocolate. Should’ve read reviews first … wish I had .. or at least discovered the place was empty for a reason. Coffee was typical. Not the w happiest of servers. Lesson learned.

Coffee was good but dutch pancakes were mediocre. Also the man who served us just a minute ago was very rude, he opened the front door (it’s rainy and very cold so not the best decision) and refused to close them even tho we said we are cold. He also thew utencils on the table when he served us and made a terrible noise. One more star for the girl who works with it for being lovely and patience for her coworker.

Oh hier bekommt jeder seinen Kaffeewunsch oder ähnliches erfüllt. Große Auswahl zu fairen Preisen. Allerdings sollte es doch möglich sein das es auf den Toiletten Papier und Seife gibt.

Sehr gemütlich, modern und super freundlich. :) Als Kaffeeliebhaber ist es immer so eine Sache einen guten Kaffee zu finden: Hier ist der Kaffee ich wahnsinnig gut, wie ich finde. Für Kaffee eine absolute Empfehlung. :) Der Pancake (für uns in einer einfachen Variante) war auch sehr lecker. Aber der Kaffee!! 😍

Nice food and coffee but the service took far too long, we were waiting 45mins for our pancakes. Also asked for a flat white and the server seemed very confused, I ended up being served a macchiato instead. I visited in mid November and it was 0c outside and the server refused to shut the door after I had asked to shut it, even though everyone was freezing and had to wrap up inside. Such a shame as we were looking forward to our breakfast.

Avoid if you are in a rush. There was only one staff member there to serve, make drinks and cook the pancakes, so it took nearly 45 minutes to get any food, despite there only being a few other tables. The waitress seemed confused by the coffees on her menu and served us an espresso instead of a flat white. She then served many orders of takeaway coffee before even beginning to cook any pancake orders. A few tables left because things were taking so long. Food was very nice when it arrived though. Were told we couldn’t shut the door in 0 degrees Celsius - all customers in hats and scarves. Not the best service.

Ci sono stato al volo per prendere un cappuccino, e devo dire che per essere in Olanda, il caffè qui lo fanno buono, i prezzi sono un po' alti ma per essere nel centro sono alla fine nella media, es: Starbucks e Dunkin D. L'ambiente è confortevole e il personale è disponibile e gentile, ho scambiato una chiacchierata, e alla fine ho avuto anche un piccolo sconto. Per me si meritano solo 4 stelle per via del prezzo. Per il resto ci ritorno di sicuro.

Came in with a large group on during a tour and was amazed with how good service was. The pancakes are amazing and the coffee drinks were so smooth and delicious. Highly recommend!
