Drinks are lovely and staff are very friendly. Cafe is located opposite the train station in Amsterdam central. We are gluten free so we didn't eat here. However they have a great selection of coffees with milk alternatives at a reasonable extra cost and a good selection of syrups. Would recommend here for drinks.

Great staff, attention and specialty coffee

The service was pleasant, except that we had to take half of the order ourselves. Narrow stairs lead to the upper floor. It was ventilated downstairs and it was cold there, unlike sitting upstairs. The fruit tea we ordered was purely spicy. The tea latte was water with a little milk, there was no spice at all. The price-performance ratio is unfavorable.

The coffee is good, but it's served with sparkling water, not still. I would have preferred something other than pancakes, as I would have preferred croissants or mini pastries. The cappuccino is also good.

It’s our last day in Amsterdam so we decided to give their Dutch pancakes a try. My husband went with savory whereas I went with sweet. We paired our pancakes with cafe latte and cafe macchiato. Service was quick and the pancakes were delicious. I had to take half of mine to go in spite of the crepe like pancake. All together, we’re glad we stopped in for our last Amsterdam meal.

Way too expensive for what you get. The coffee and food were nothing special and totally not worth the price. On top of that, the staff was rude and seemed like they just wanted to get rid of everyone quickly. It's a really bad atmosphere. There are much better places nearby, but I definitely wouldn't recommend this one.

This place is not far from Amsterdam station and I have to say that here I drank a good coffee, obviously here in Amsterdam everything at a price and for two espressos I paid €6.50, an incredible amount.

The Coffee is sour. I had pancakes with ham, cheese and Egg. Tasted ok, just super effortless food and no love in cooking.

The service was disastrous.. we order our food way ahead off 2 other customer but we received ours later than them.. we did remind the staff twice on our order but still delayed. The staff should tell us earlier if they are short-staffed.. please avoid this place. (p.s: the waiter did mention to compensate us with free drinks but i declined as i'm not keen on getting free food..)

We had a fantastic experience in the Argentinian restaurant with our waiter Steven. Matched our wine perfectly with steak, was brilliant fun in the meantime with our meal and highly conscientious on making sure our table had everything we needed throughout. 5/5 and would give more stars to Steven if I could. It is unacceptable to have to realize that the speculation is total. Virtually undrinkable coffee. Not even comparable to the name of the brand, which I have known very well for years. "Nespresso compatible" capsules to be completely thrown away. Both blends. After having made at least 15 attempts for quality and also having changed the water and coffee machine. Damage to the company and poison for consumers. Bad choice.

It was cold near Amsterdam Central Station and I was looking for a cafe, but couldn't find a good place, so I just went to the one in front of me. At first, I didn't even know it was a pancake place, but there were pancakes on the menu, so I ordered one when I went in. There were separate European-style pancake menus and American-style pancake menus, but I prefer sweet things, so I ordered American-style strawberry pancakes and strawberry frappuccino. When I looked at my card statement, it came out to 22.25 euros. Pancakes are baked right after you order them. I happened to be sitting right next to the cooking area, and the smell of the food being roasted was really nice. When the food is finished, they bring it directly to your seat. As you can see, there are quite a few strawberries on top. It's refreshing and sweet because of the strawberry jam, and the dough is soft, which is just what I like. If you are unfamiliar with bacon-topped pancakes, fruit pancakes would also be a good choice. The portion size was quite large, so it was a bit much for me to eat alone. Looking at the customers coming into the store, it seemed like they were mostly locals stopping by for a cup of coffee. I felt a lot of local atmosphere and it was cozy and nice. The staff are also friendly and nice. I especially remember the lady who paid the bill because she was so kind!

Finalmente pedimos 4 tortitas, 2 cafés y 2 cafés con leche de fresa helados. 2 cafés y 2 vasos de leche simple, fría y espumada fueron entregados a nuestra mesa. El camarero era amable y agradable. Revisamos nuestra orden con él y volvió a verificar con la adolescente sucia en la caja. Se acercó de una manera agresiva y combativa y exigió saber qué pasaba con los cafés con leche helados que había hecho. Señalamos que no eran helados ni café con leche y no tenían ningún sabor a fresa. Dijo que café con leche significa leche y eso es lo que tiene. Era muy desagradable. También solo entregaron 2 de nuestros pedidos de panqueques. Luego comenzó a servir a otros clientes. Tuvimos que volver para pedir nuestras próximas 2 tortitas, más de media hora después. La señora que hace las tortitas era agradable y profesional - pero el niño sulky grosero no tiene nada que ver con el servicio al cliente y este restaurante es mejor evitar. Esta es probablemente la razón por la que te hacen pagar como ordenas, ya que deben saber que su servicio es muy malo. Las tortitas también eran demasiado saladas.

Quite expensive, especially the coffee which wasn’t particularly good. The caramelised banana pancakes is just pancakes with regular bananas and caramel sauce. Nothing special.

Pancakes are quite deceiving in a good way! With how thin they are you'd think they're easy to eat, I was really full towards the end and it's definitely enough to last you until later. I had the caramelised banana. Tasted great, was a bit crispy in the middle but other than that I was really happy.

We‘ve ordered two Iced Latte and two Strawberry Iced Latte. At the End we became two cold coffees with ice cubes and two milk glasses with some strawberry jelly at the bottom and no coffee. It was not what we‘ve expected and all of that for a way too big amount of money. Das ist Wuche. Nie wieder, slay.

Horrible experience. We thought it was going to be a fancy café. We wanted to order and were told that they didn’t have bacon (on a Saturday morning). After changing our order plans, we decided to switch to a sweet pancake, only to be informed that they didn’t have bananas either. This meant that half of the menu was unavailable. I had to ask them what they did have because I felt I was wasting my time deciding when they lacked so many ingredients. After ordering an apple pancake (16€), it didn’t come with any syrup or toppings. It was just apple, raisins, and the pancake. Very disappointing. After finishing, we said goodbye and the waitresses didn’t say anything to us. I feel that they don’t care about their customers...

We thought it would be a fancy place, especially considering the prices (12€ for a nutella pancake). My friends and I made a simple order and they forgot one of the two pancakes we ordered, and they didn't seem too excited to be there. Kind of dry mood. Disappointed.

We loved this place and had our first bacon cheese pancake, and we loved it. Maybe a bit decadent, but oh, so good. We are going to start doing these back home in California.

El personal era súper grosero, la chica que nos atendió nunca sonrió y actuó como si la estuviéramos molestando, parecía joven pero tenía la peor actitud, todo superior y esas cosas. arruinaron mi pedido a lo grande. Pedí leche de almendras y leche de vaca. Soy alérgica y podría enfermarme mucho. Se lo dijo a la camarera, se negó a hacer otra y mintió, diciendo que era leche de almendras cuando no lo era. Las tortitas tardaron una eternidad, eran secas, insípidas y horribles. El personal fue grosero entre sí y con nosotros. Malos tragos, mala comida, malos precios. En general, experiencia horrible! No vayas allí.

I ordered a pancake and a cup of coffee, paid €21.50 , coffe arrived in 10 mins bit waited for the pancake another 20 mins.. half an hour waiting for being served.. only two were working.. one is doing all the drinks etc.. another girl was cooking, waching the dishes in the same time i guess because there were no eanough plates and cutleries as well as staff Tasty food but poor service!!

The dutch pancake with caramelized apple, raisins and cinnamon was good, but pricey. The service wasn’t too friendly and overall its too expensive for what you’re getting. One dutch pancake costs around 16-18€ which I believe to be too much.

The pancake was very good, but way too expensive. We shared one because we didn’t feel like paying 18€ each for a pancake. We also ordered 2 dirty chai lattes which were 9€ each. Normally you would pay around 6€ or less for one.

They got confused with a simple order and wouldn't believe me until they checked the bill. Then they said there's no time and they can't give me my order? I just asked for a refund and the lady stomped off, and by that I mean she actually stamping her feet! I'd be more offended if it wasn't so funny. In the process she smacked the plate into the wall, spilling maple syrup all over the stairs. Ridiculous. We stayed another 20 minutes while a friend finished their food and the whole time the manager was shouting and berating her staff for a mistake she made. Also very expensive. They charge €3 to add a banana to a Nutella pancake... Expect approx €16-18 for a typical pancake. Honestly there's so many nice places nearby, just try somewhere else.

The coffees and pancakes are excellent, especially the Dutch ones. The only issue is the price. Pancakes for 17, 18€? Yikes. Large Latte Macchiato for 7.75€...owch...I don't know how much the rent is to justify the prices but anyways it's a nice little Café. If it wasn't for the high prices I would give a 5 star rating.

I'm willing to hear that my accent is frankly not great... from there to welcoming me like this, I didn't understand what caused this attack on me. Left without ordering anything, what a shame to lose customers like this. Place to avoid absolutely

Chose this place for breakfast on the first day. Absolutely did not disappoint. The vibe was very chilled. Great coffee and the pancakes were AMAZING. The chef I believe named Andrea was so friendly! Definitely recommend, as there was no other place I found on my trip that served coffee and pancakes as good as this place!
