A really great spot for a burger and some beers. Mac and cheese was great. The burger was full of flavor. I saw someone get the chicken and they tore that bird up, it must of been good!

The food and price is good, but the waiter who served us, a blonde girl, was very rude, despite we were kind. Go change job, girl!

Had a great ribeye there and a great starter. Was delicious.

Very nice place, super tasty spareribs and nice staff! Not cheap but really good quality. For example, you order your fries separately from the meat, but then you really get a large portion of really tasty fries!! Worth repeating!

Food was great as usual, unfortunately service was not. One of the waiter (he claims that he‘s a famous DJ but we highly doubt it lol) was extremely racist and was giving us attitude since the moment we entered the door. He first ignored our signs of ordering at least 3 times, and when food arrived he just placed everything on the table without giving us plates and cutleries. We had to ask him 2 times for fork and knives. Later when we check the bill we want to split it, this is such a common thing in NL, he rejected us and said this is the law. I told him that we are local and we know the law, he then changed his words and told us “this is the house rule from now on.” I told him I want to talk to the manager. He said “I'm the manager.”（He’s not the manager）The manager was nice and helpful, he was a real gentleman and he did his best to solve the problem. Unfortunately, again, when my friend was taking a photo of the restaurant environment, he jumped out from the bar and yelled to my friend “delete your photo！” and then he walked out with us and threatend us “If you don't delete the picture I will throw your phone inside the river”. How crazy！We always visit cannibale royale, we’ve been to all the locations since years ago, we celebrate all the important occasions here, this is the first time we got treated like this, and I don't think we will come back anymore. We still recommend the food the steak and everything, but for the service and racism we received today, we are just extremely disappointed and don't wanna come back anymore.

At the start it is indicated that you can only sit there for 2 hours. Tables are small, steak is not cooked as you indicate, but the bill is expensive.

What made the experience even more special was the thoughtful gesture from one of the staff members. While we were taking a selfie, she kindly offered to take a proper family photo for us. It’s little things like that that turn a good dinner into a genuinely heartwarming memory. ☺️ My parents said it was the most delicious meal they had in Amsterdam, and I couldn’t agree more. Good quality food is a bit overpriced. All sides were separate. Staff were friendly and well presented, but service was slow.

I took a group of 15 colleagues to Cannibale Royale Ruysdaelkade for a work's dinner in early April 2025. The service from Amelie was fantastic, the food was wonderful and everybody had a great time. We will definitely return.

Incluso si no comes cerdo, encontrarás mucho que comer en este lugar. Hemos probado alitas de pollo y costillas de ternera que era tierna y suave ya que estaba muy bien marinado. Los guarniciones como el maíz y el pan de ajo eran muy buenos. Estábamos muy hambrientos cuando entramos y llenos cuando salimos. El servicio también fue muy bueno. Cambiaron dos veces nuestros platos y nos ayudaron a tomar las decisiones correctas.

Excellent place to eat meat. Very nice location and friendly staff. One of the few places that serves dinner until late.

This used to be one of my favorite places, but last 3-5 times the food was consistently meh. Especially midly warm ribs: I can imagine if this was uber eats, but serving almost cold food in the restaurant itself? Beer glasses not just had stains, but you could feel dirt with your fingers when touching the base of the glass.

Cozy restaurant with very friendly and helpful service. The meat dish for 2 people is delicious. You don't need any sauces, the meat is deliciously prepared. We also ordered the lobster tail. This one is small, but very tasty. Recommended!

Absolutely loved this place! The service was amazing—super friendly and attentive. The garlic bread was unreal, probably the best I’ve ever had. The signature burger is absolutely amazing! Highly recommend. My partner also really enjoyed her flat iron steak and she is very picky with her meat so if they past the test it most be great :) The only downside is that the area is a bit dodgy at night but once inside all is good

Awesome restaurant with a terribly interesting aesthetic. We ordered Canibal ribs and a Canibal blonde beer, very rich flavors of spices and meat complement each other. We are happy, will come back here next time.
