Caro & Pepe in Oude Stad

I'm not usually a fan of iced coffee, but this one was absolutely fantastic. A heavenly coffee paired with a pastel de nata in a hip and cozy setting – it was absolutely worth a visit!

Ordered kapsalon. Meat was dry and tasted old, not many vegetables, we were waiting for order 40 minutes and after we ate it with friends, everyone got a hard stomachache

The cake was nothing sort of amazing! Great appearence and super super nice taste to go along with it! This year we had a Bambi themed cake with red velvet and chocolate filling. 10/10! But also the help we were given along the way was super super nice! Thanks so much!

What a shame. There's an Oscars with a coffee shop in the Grote Markt square that could look very inviting, but unfortunately, it's not well-maintained. The tables and floor are dirty, chairs are scattered, and what should be on each table, like flowers and cards, is scattered on the tables. The music isn't relaxing and is far too loud. The coffee, cakes, and bread are delicious, but it's a disappointment to have to sit there like that. If it were well-maintained, it would be truly atmospheric.

You should only go to this shop if you don't need a lot of bread. If you want to take a sandwich for your colleagues for your birthday, you should go somewhere else because if you want to buy the last 6 cheese rolls, you will not be appreciated. The lady behind the counter was a bit angry that I bought them all. It will never happen again because there are enough bakeries that would like to sell all their sandwiches.
