Hi, delicious spareribs; I’ve thought they’d been the tastiest spareribs for well over 22 years. The place might not look fancy, but it’s definitely worth a try. I’ve been ordering there since it opened. They are usually very friendly and sometimes a bit curt. But when you order, it might take a while for them to be delivered, but it’s certainly worth the wait. We like their sweet spareribs best. Unfortunately, we don't really like spicy food. We usually order one huge portion with potato wedges, fruit salad, and two small bowls of garlic sauce. One huge portion is easily enough for the two of us. It’s so incredibly tasty and the meat almost falls off the bone; super tender and soft, sometimes a little crunchy and tasty too. We almost eat the bones along with it; deliciously juicy and marinated, and it is a secret recipe. You lick your fingers clean, and your face and fingers get completely covered in it. Really worth it👍 too bad you can't sit comfortably there.❤️ I'm already looking forward to the next time. Thank you Mr. Ceder, your food is delicious😉

We have been loyal customers for over 25 years and still come here with great pleasure. The spareribs are without a doubt the best you can get: always tender, perfectly seasoned, and of top quality. Hoessein has built up a wonderful business and now works together with his son. It is great to see the next generation involved, while the quality and hospitality remain consistently high. Terrible place and a bizarrely rude person on the phone (presumably the owner). The food was supposed to be delivered between 17:30 and 17:40, but almost 2 hours later we still haven't received anything. When calling, the response is rude and they even hang up. It's fine if you can't be on time once in a while, but as a company, be polite enough to offer some sincere apology instead of an irritated 'sorry, we're busy' and then hanging up. It's bizarre that I have to feel bad asking where the food is when they don't have their schedule in order. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Summary: do not order here. Eating on location might be better, but in any case, do not have it delivered.

We've been ordering from Ceders for years, always good! I often read about long wait times, but that's no problem for us when the food is this good. Ceders is a family business, and that's reflected in everything: incredibly customer-friendly, the food is always good, and the sauces are homemade and prepared with love. Juicy! Walking past this place, I was captivated by the aroma and, after glancing through the window, saw a massive pile of spareribs on a grill. Hand-varnished with a gnarled brush. Burnt sugar crystals were accumulating at the end of the grill. This looks so disgusting, it must be delicious! True! The spareribs (Mexican) are exactly how you like them: juicy strips of meat, loose on the bone, and a marinade that does exactly what you expect: sticky, sometimes with a smoky burnt caramel crunch, spicy in all the right places, a truly sweet nectar of the gods. You'd love to dip your perfectly golden brown, slightly over-fried potato slices in it. Served with a delicious garlic sauce and two salads (tomato-cucumber-mint and apple-pineapple-orange juice), so simple and so perfectly complementing the spare ribs that the whole plate is eaten clean. The atmosphere in the restaurant is like, "Nobody ever eats in here," so half the tables are used for storage. There are diabetes medications on the mantelpiece above the stove. Understandably so. Yellowed menu prints on the wall. A small painting reminds me of Algeria. The bathroom smells like toilets from the 90s. They're out of soap. You really don't want to be there with your greasy fingers, but everything feels so good. The whole picture is perfect. Those spare ribs make you forget and forgive. You can't pay by card. I've never seen an outlet so crooked in the wall. But his enthusiasm for his food literally drips from the extractor fan. They're incredibly friendly and even very confident that it's all about the spare ribs. And if you have to cook at least 200 kilos of spare ribs a day, you don't have time for anything extra. Just go eat this!

The food is always fine, but the waiting times! The website says 40 minutes, the email confirmation says one and a half to two hours, but after two and a half hours, still nothing! And this isn't the first time. Apparently, the restaurant comes first! My tip: stay honest instead of beating around the bush! Maybe this will be the last time after all!

Tonight we didn't feel like cooking, so we ordered Spareribs from Ceders... Oooowh, they were so tasty, literally eat your fingers off. Delicious and well marinated, nice and juicy, crispy crust and fell off the bone... The fresh salad of apple, pineapple and celery that came with it was also very tasty. Definitely recommended!

It is better not to order food from this Alibaba tent, we waited 2.5 hours for our order while they said the order would be there within 1.5 hours and we also have a hair on the food, then you try to call politely and they would solve it but they have not heard a solution at all so I would advise you not to order from Cedars 🤮

Ordered a large portion of spare ribs, and they were great again! Good service and a friendly delivery driver. Enough for two people to eat from it.

At Cedars they have the best and tastiest spareribs available! They are the same quality every time! And the atmosphere is always good! They are sweet and good people there! Always good and highly recommended for lovers of good food!

Ordered at 4:50 PM. Delivery was expected at approximately 6:20 PM. Called at 6:50 PM (after a 2 hour wait) to ask what was going on. There was apparently enormous confusion because the person initially had difficulty finding the order. Then I was told it was on its way. I wanted to ask something but it got hung up while I was talking... Super rude... 2.5 hours later I received the order and the delivery person was clearly embarrassed about the delay. Finally at the table and yes! Not the right product... I ordered sweet-spicy spare ribs and only got spicy.... I didn't feel like waiting another 2.5 hours for the correct order. But clearly, never again at this place...

If you order pork ribs at Ceders you know that you will eat the best pork ribs in Deventer, surrounding areas and probably in the Netherlands. Of course, although you can sit in the restaurant, the atmosphere is not maintained. It's not an elegant place, we come here to eat ribs! The accompaniments are also very good, the baked potatoes are super good and the salads are great. I recommend that you order by phone and come pick them up instead of ordering them at home. And pay in cash! The owner doesn't have much people skills, but he doesn't need it when he and his son make these delicious ribs!

Haha, everything I read in the reviews is absolutely true. The owner/father does indeed seem a bit gruff, there is no cozy atmosphere and I can also imagine that you have to wait a long time for your order because everything is prepared with care by father and son. And that is also the charm of this business "father and son" instead of "disinterested staff who don't care about your order". I was there yesterday with my son and we came for the spare ribs; coke, then we are already satisfied. Large portion and my son's plate was completely empty...I can't think of a greater compliment.

Fantastic spareribs. Best of Deventer and surroundings. No matter where I try them, no one can match Cedars. It is best to call and not order via home delivery. Ordered today at 5 p.m. asking if I could pick them up at 1830 and no problem. Reviews regarding on-site dining and delivery time should not be taken seriously. It is a small business for takeout and delivery. And order on time, and don't expect them to be on your doorstep within half an hour. Because they are very busy because of their well-marinated spareribs.

Wat een gezeur van sommige mensen. Het is algemeen bekend dat je op tijd moet bellen, liefst 3 uur van te voren, als het niet eerder kan! Het is een kleine zaak, moeten roeien met de riemen die ze hebben en de vraag is immens! De spareribs zijn de allerbeste van Deventer en omstreken, liggen urenlang in de marinade ipv te marineren tijdens het grillen. Voor mij is er maar één! 👌🏻

Niet de plek waar je gezellig zit om mee te beginnen. Maar de mensen zijn aardig en het de spareribs zijn geweldig. De beste van Deventer! Let op: pinnen is NIET mogelijk!!

Zeker meestal lekkere spare ribs (en salade). Alleen als je vroeg besteld, bezorgtijd bevestigd wordt maar ze komen 45 minuten tot 2 uur later dan bevestigde tijd.. dan is het wel een keer klaar. Als je laat open gaat dan kun je ook gewoon geen vroege sloten open zetten.

Ceders Steakhouse staat bekend om hun heerlijke spareribs, die zonder twijfel tot de lekkerste van de omgeving behoren. Echter, als het gaat om bezorging, is het restaurant helaas minder sterk. Om die reden geven wij Ceders Steakhouse een 3/5 sterren beoordeling. We hebben meerdere malen ervaren dat de bezorging van het restaurant erg lang duurt en dat er lange tijd geen updates worden gegeven. Dit is zeer teleurstellend, vooral als je honger hebt en uitkijkt naar je bestelling. Een tip voor het restaurant zou zijn om realistische bezorgtijden te geven en om hun klanten op de hoogte te houden van eventuele vertragingen. Het is begrijpelijk dat er soms onvoorziene omstandigheden zijn, maar communicatie is hierbij zeer belangrijk. In onze ervaring is het ophalen van de bestelling bij Ceders Steakhouse een betere optie dan het laten bezorgen. De kwaliteit van het eten is altijd goed en het restaurant biedt een vriendelijke service. Hoewel we nog steeds graag genieten van de heerlijke spareribs van Ceders Steakhouse, moeten we helaas constateren dat hun bezorgservice teleurstellend is. We geven Ceders Steakhouse daarom een 3/5 sterren beoordeling.

Helaas bestelling half uur te laat , verder , zoals altijd , spareribs heerlijk . Advies als je met thuisbezorgd werkt , duidelijkheid over bezorgtijden , en als je zelf de tijd van bezorgen verandert , BELLEN naar de klant !!

De lekkerste ribs van Deventer en omstreken. En veel mensen klagen in de reviews over de wachttijden. En dat klopt zeker. Soms kan je best even (anderhalf uur) wachten voordat je ribs er zijn. Maar ja als je zulke lekkere ribs maakt willen veel mensen ribs. Wil je optijd je ribs of snel/eerder. Haal ze dan zelf af of bel overdag al om een tijdsafspraak te maken.

16.30 besteld voor 18.50 leveren... om 19.50 nog geen eten. Waardeloos!!! Maar dan.... de bel..bezorgd.. wat een lekkere spareribs.!!! Eerlijk is eerlijk dat maakt een hoop goed. Enkel de ribbetjes zou een 5 sterren zijn. Jammer van te late levering..zou beter te regelen moeten zijn

Wie in Deventer of in de omgeving van Deventer woont, kent deze geweldig restaurant. Ik bestel al jaren hier, en ben ik elke keer super blij met het eten en het smaak van het eten. Altijd een bijzondere smaak ♥️.

Heel goed eten voor een betaalbare prijs. Nu twee keer geweest beide keren goed.

Aardige mensen. Ik was er voor de eerste keer. Telefonisch kan de man (vader?) een beetje streng en onbeleefd overkomen, ik was in de zaak toen klanten aan bellen waren voor hun bestelling. Alleen tegen mij waren ze heel vriendelijk zowel de kok als de vader waren heel spraakzaam maar ik was in de zaak zelf. Wat betreft het eten: zeer goede ribbetjes! Lekker makkelijk van het bot. Goede smaak. Hygiëne: haha ja ik denk als de ouderwetse smaakpolitie op bezoek kwam hij geen sticker ging uitdelen. Interieur is een beetje uit de jaren '90. Dus eigenlijk moeten ze naar een andere locatie of de zaak opknappen. Conclusie: wij zullen er vast nog wel een keer ribbetjes gaan halen.

Zeer goede Spareribs, m.i. lekkerder dan die van de Spare Rib expres. Ananas salade is heel lekker maar helaas geven ze soms ook een niet zo'n lekkere zure salade. Extra's naast de Spareribs kunnen wel wat bijzonderder. Edit, laatst de 5 soorten vlees grill specialiteit gegeten, zeer lekker en goed vlees.

De beste sparibs ouwe ook bij orintal netje personeel eigenaar erg vriendelijke man voor mij een 10 plus
