Gulpen is op het toerisme afgestemd met voldoende keuze om een hapje te eten. Willekeurig ‘ De Imperator’ gekozen. Vriendelijk ontvangen en best wel lekker geluncht. Dus voor ons ok.

Aardige mensen, goed eten, normale prijzen. Voor de 2e keer geweest en vast b5iet voor het laatst. Verborgen parel in Limburg

A great restaurant with jaw-dropping views on both sides. Also splendid food of high quality and pleasant service. For kids there's a large playground at the back which is shared with the holiday house complex neighbouring the restaurant. I fear that this plays gets flooded with people in summer but in early spring it is awesome.

Enjoyed a delicious cappuccino with a piece of Limburg pie. The pie was served with fresh whipped cream. Both the coffee and the pie were delicious. The interior looks cozy, and the service was very friendly and prompt.

Very unfriendly woman who would rather see you coming than going, it seems. She couldn't help but laugh, she snapped at the information and found it very annoying to repeat information. Some people you don't understand why they do the work they do. My son and I had wanted to eat something before resuming our journey home, but initially came for a milkshake because my daughter had sore feet and preferred to stay in the car. We planned to bring her the milkshake and then walk back and have something to eat ourselves. But after the unfriendly reception we did not know how quickly we had to get away. We then drove on to the Almost Home cafeteria in Wijlre. Lovely quiet shady places and very attentive help from a young girl who saw that my daughter could barely walk (three-day hike behind her) and came with a Coolpack. The three of us still had a quiet and enjoyable meal, but above all in a place where you are welcome and we certainly didn't have that feeling at the Gaarekieker. So keep driving!
