Chico's Place in Centrum

I ordered a Dürüm super kebab, it was delicious, very generous portions, the service was top-notch, and the place was tidy and very clean.

Tasty food, on the table quickly. Atmosphere, yes, a typical shawarma place.

If you order food with their couriers there is a big chance it may get stolen by the courier. Ordered food today and was waiting outside my flat, courier came, didn’t notice me, took a picture of the food in his bag and tried to ride away before I started yelling at him. Then he gave my bag but took my dürum wrap out saying its the wrong one and they will bring me new one soon..he immediately called someone ( his friend probably) the friend talked with him in his foreign language and then with me and i asked to speak in english and he pretended to be Chico’s place manager and said they mixed up my order..that there’s cheese in wrap when i “requested” for no cheese..mind you..i didnt change or request anything in my order.. He took my wrap out of the order paper bag put it in his courier bag and i told him he’s stealing and just took it out of his bag and went home..Opened it and it was exactly what i ordered. So be careful people, don’t order with their couriers. This place was one of my most favourite, But I will never order from here anymore.

The food arrived 2 hours late. It was cold; three of us spent time calling but no one answered. Half of our order was missing. This place is very poor with delivery.

The staff were incredibly friendly. The food was good. The decor was excellent. The background music was very relaxing. The atmosphere was idyllic. All in all, the stay was extremely pleasant. I would definitely come back.

I have had kapsalon here a lot of times. If you request a little more (insert specific topping for kapsalon), they add it. Great food for munchies. The staff and owner are very friendly, they don't hold back in asking if you need more sauce. I used to be a regular when I lived close by. A no brainer when the rest of the restaurants are closed, Chico's is always there to save the night!

We ate at Chicos in the city center. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The doner was cold and the food had little to no flavor. As a result, the experience was not what I had expected.

For the location and what they offered, everything was perfectly fine. The food was delicious and they were still open long after other places in Arnhem had closed. The only downside was that there was no toilet paper in the restroom. However, a thoughtful guest solved the problem by bringing my girlfriend some napkins when he saw her heading in that direction. These things happen, hence only one star less for the ambiance. Otherwise, everything was good, tasty, and friendly, with even the younger staff helping out. That's how it should be, and I'd gladly come again.

10.50 for a simple wrap. Put hardly anything on it, reached for the filling 4 times only to end up putting just 1 piece on it.. acts like a Dutchman.

I’ve been here several times for a quick bite. The food is ready quite fast, but is nevertheless very tasty. The staff is friendly, sometimes a bit difficult to communicate, but that shouldn't spoil the appetite. Even though it doesn't fit into my diet, I like to make an exception every now and then to stop by Chico’s Place. My personal preference goes to the kapsalon veal doner. Keep it up! 🍟

The doner didn't seem fresh and I got terrible diarrhea after eating a chameleon here.

The meat was very disgusting as if it was from last week and they put cheese on the vegetables and put them in the oven which was also disgusting. The kapsalon was really super disgusting. I regret getting it. It was the most disgusting kapsalon I have ever eaten. The chicken döner looked like it had been made a month ago. Besides, they were quick with making it, but I will never go there again.

I don't like leaving reviews, but this was just ridiculous. It initially arrived almost three hours late. I tried calling (five times), but they didn't answer and it went to voicemail. When it finally arrived three hours later, it was salty enough to make you want to drink at least a liter of water after eating. It was missing everything, and it was also nice and cold. Cold isn't a problem in itself, since we have an oven, but it was just adding insult to injury. The only positive thing was that the delivery person was friendly. Everything else was just unbearable.

Ordered from Chicos Place at 2:30 AM, expected delivery time approximately 1 hour. Still nothing received by 5:20 AM. No update, no message, Chicos Place was unreachable. Afterward, they claim the delivery driver came and called, even though there were no missed calls. Busyness is no excuse for this level of substandard service. If you can't handle orders at night, don't accept them. Making five people wait for nothing. Disgraceful.

Waited an hour and a half for an order, called six times, and no answer. The food was terrible. The price vs. the amount you get is truly bizarre. Soggy and wet, the doner sandwich apparently meant "doner with just tomato," and the service and food quality were appalling. Unbelievable.

I ordered fries with a special kapsalon XL sauce and a wrap, they took an hour to deliver while it took 30 minutes, and all the sauce from the fries was in the bag, and the other order had fries that were old and soggy, everything was cold, and when you ask to be called by phone instead of ringing the doorbell because of a sleeping baby, they ring the doorbell and use the excuse: I forgot the receipt. Not recommended.

Order placed at 10:50 PM: Called at midnight because the order still hadn't arrived, and a yelling man answered, claiming it had been delivered. He then sent a photo of an apartment complex on the other side of Arnhem. Only through an Uber Eats worker did I get my money back. :( Don't order!

Unfortunately. We'd been regulars since Presikhaaf. Duiven is becoming less and less popular, so we went to Arnhem. It was a mess everywhere, and one person spoke broken Dutch. We ended up in the bathroom with a stomachache and diarrhea. Never again for us.

We ordered a bamischijf (a Dutch noodle dish), a special frikandel sandwich, and a croquette sandwich. We ordered the sauce separately from the croquette sandwich, but it was included anyway. Ordered through Thuisbezorgd at 12:25 AM, order delivered (4km) at 1:05 AM. Fries okay, barely warm, excellent lamb shawarma sandwich with salad (not listed on the menu) still just warm, garlic sauce (1 + 1 extra) very small portions. Taste: fries 7, shawarma 6 (bland), garlic sauce 7

Kapsalon with cucumber ends, day-old tomato, and that's all there is to a salad. Little cheese, little (dry and tasteless) meat, fries were okay. No sauce on the kapsalon; we got a separate container, but you have to pay for it. 15 euros for an utterly miserable kapsalon. The service was okayish, but the atmosphere was completely awful.

Ordered a hair salon today at 5:00 PM. Around 6:00 PM I started to have problems with my stomach and around 7:00 PM my intestines started pounding like "hello, I have to get out." 7:15 PM everything came out and the stomach cramps were gone.... the employee on the phone indicated that the meat was good in advance and they had had no further complaints 😂 otherwise he would have said that, they also... well, I could have better spent the 11 euros for one at the mac. Worthless, indicate on the website that the delivery time is 20 to 40 minutes and that the delivery person is at the door and then ring the doorbell an hour later. Total delivery time ended up being 1.5 hours and the food was tough and cold. If you call about it, you will be treated unfriendly with bad excuses.

Great service but the food is just sad absolutely tasteless .it is like They have never seen any kind of spices, even salt and pepper. Chicken is extremely overcook and dry. Rice is only 70% done. The hot wings is not bad. Rest of the food never go here.

got the chicken doner , meat was really nice a bit difficult to eat without it falling apart haha but who cares when you're hungry. i accidentally got a chunk of feta in my doner which was actually really tasty, i'd suggest having a feta add-on option because it works really well. the delivery was fast everything was warm and tasty.
