An old-fashioned, cozy and fairly large, busy restaurant (the Chinese who have known it since the 79, 80 and 90s 👍) had a delicious meal.

Large Chinese restaurant, but you don't notice that there are so many people inside. You can chat comfortably with your table group and understand each other well. The food is all delicious, Babi pangang bacon, chicken fillet with salt and pepper, fried tofu and the hot plates are super tasty. Especially the Peking duck. I think it's highly recommended.

Al jaren een begrip in Rijswijk. Dit restaurant heeft veel vaste gasten, en dat merk je aan de zeer klantvriendelijke bediening. Het eten is voortreffelijk, ik kies bijna altijd voor een tipan gerecht (sizzling plate), zo lekker. Familie uit Delft komt hier ook regelmatig, dat zegt genoeg.

What you can expect from a Dutch Chinese restaurant is exactly what you get here. Nice food, nice service and all within expectations.

What a shame that things are deteriorating so much. We had dishes that arrived on the table within 2 minutes? makes you think? Fu yong hai was inedible, the rest less so. The curtains are quite dirty and the rest is really not maintained! We were shocked by this and will not come again.

We are regular customers at Fong Shou on the Leyweg... but have been living in Rijswijk for over seven years... due to the holiday closure, we decided to try a Chinese takeaway restaurant in our neighborhood... unfortunately very disappointed.... too little, quickly cold and above all the portions are small and the food tasteless... Unfortunately this will not be a repeat.

Excellent lunch in honor of our niece's birthday

Never been before. And never go there again. The food was really not tasty and after paying €39 I had to throw everything away because it was simply inedible. The shrimp in the fu yong hai were barely fried, the sauce way too sweet. The employee recommended an extra bowl of rice even though I said it would be too much, but she kept saying that the bowls were very small. Nothing turned out to be further from the truth: I now have three weeks' worth of rice.

**Review about Golden House: A disappointing experience** Recently we decided to have dinner at Golden House, but unfortunately this turned out to be a big mistake. Our experience was nothing short of disappointing and deserves a warning to future guests. First of all, the chap choy was definitely not as expected. The vegetables were tasteless and didn't seem very fresh. In addition, the babi panggang was a true disaster. The dish was dry and contained pieces of chicken that were also dry and tasteless. The meat in this dish was tough and difficult to chew, which greatly diminished the eating experience. The pangsit, normally one of our favorites, was a huge disappointment. Instead of the usual filling, the pangsit was empty and over-fried, resulting in a hard, unpleasant texture. To make matters worse, the pisang goreng was not cooked properly. The inside was still raw, which made this dessert inedible. All in all, the food was way too salty, which made the flavors even more unpleasant. This poor quality of food not only ruined our dinner but also our evening. We were very dissatisfied and would like to save others from a similar experience. Golden House was a big disappointment for us, and we recommend everyone consider other dining options.

This is just good Chinese. Tasty food, fresh, fast and large portions. Pleasantly busy, especially on weekends. Beef tenderloin in oyster sauce with bell pepper and onion is highly recommended ☝️

Overheerlijk gedineerd met 2 personen. Krokante bami met vlees, vis en groenten. Perfecte combi met een heerlijk bescheiden sausje. Heel meedenkend personeel, samen 1 gerecht genuttigd ivm maagverkleining.

Als wir das Restaurant betreten hatten, gab es keine Gäste, schon deshalb wollten wir eigentlich gleich den Rückwärtsgang einlegen. Aber ich dachte, ohne es auszuprobieren werden wir nie wissen, wie es ist, zumal die Bewertungen auf Tripadvisor ganz passabel sind. Wir hatten ein Buffet erwartet, aber keines gesehen, darum fragte ich, ob es eines gäbe. Das wurde mit ja beantwortet, auf die Frage, ob wir das zuerst einmal sehen könnten, wurden uns stattdessen die Plätze zugewiesen. Beim studieren der Speisekarte wurde mir dann klar, es gibt kein Buffet. Also bestellten wir ein Menu für zwei Personen. Hier muss man unbedingt die Speisekarte genau lesen. Das Menu ist für 2 Personen, die Preise sind aber pro Person angegeben, sodass es dann doppelt so teuer wurde als ich dachte. Die Preise sind somit Spitzenklasse, die Essenqualität aber unterstes Kantinenniveau. Ich habe somit keinen Grund, wiederzukommen. Meine selbstgemachten Spaghetti Thunfisch schmecken besser, und die habe ich schneller gemacht als die Wartezeit im Restaurant dauert, und kostet nur einen Bruchteil davon. Die Nachbarschaft trifft sich bei der Pommesbude ein paar Schritte weiter, da ist High Life, und ich weiss jetzt warum

Echt kom er al heel mijn leven niet normaal goed! Sfeer goed de decoratie super mooi, eten niet normaal goed. En de service was ook heel goed mensen zijn super aardig grootste aanrader van alle restaurants!!!!

Wel pech dat als gevolg van de drukte, ook bij de afhaalafdeling, het menu laat werd uitgeserveerd. Wij moesten er de aandacht op vestigen. Moet beter in de gaten worden gehouden. Overigens goed.

Heb afgehaald.. Ben nog nooit zo ziek geweest. Blijkt voedselvergiftiging te zijn geweest door rotte eieren. Dit restaurant is heel erg achteruit gegaan. Nu de 2e keer dat het gebeurd met een ander gerecht. Laatste keer was November 2022. Nooit meer
