Chinees Restaurant Orient in Waterwijk-Landerijen

I ordered here for the last time yesterday. I have really been ordering here for years; it used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant. But after yesterday's food, no, sorry, it has gone downhill fast. Disappointed.

The food is pretty good, although there are limited vegetarian options. But the taste is pretty good, the portions are huge and prices are very good.

In a word, amazing, a beautiful day trip. With great diversity, delicious fish, and beautiful traditional costumes.

Nothing changed in the end, ordered at the counter this time with no one else in the restaurant (€97.50 for 5 portions), finished 52 minutes later and still the same, small portions gone sooner and orders via the website.....the food is super good by the way.

We ordered food on Saturday night, and the delivery was fast and the food was delicious. Fantastic!

Ordered food here for the first time. I ordered steak and broccoli with rice, which cost an extra €2.30, which is free at other places. I asked to fry the meat instead of boiling it in broth. The few pieces of meat that were in it were cooked through anyway, there were a few large, long pieces of broccoli, and lots of onions, all for €20. Menu B for 3 people is just enough, but the kolekai with noodles is really only for 1 person. All this was very little food for 6 people, at around €66. The noodles are tasty.

Delicious takeout, tasty and generous portions. The noodles and babi are especially worth mentioning. Friendly staff. Sometimes very busy, so it's best to order online or by phone.

What truly terrible service! We placed our order over the phone at 5:45 PM and were told we could pick it up at 6:30 PM. At 7:30 PM, we finally received our food. We waited an hour in the chaotic restaurant, and there was absolutely no communication. We were repeatedly told it was coming soon and was being packed. After a while, we went to ask again, and the owner simply walked away from the conversation. We also heard on the phone that the owner told everyone "it's coming now," and then nothing happened with the order. She eventually apologized for the wait, but if she had told us beforehand, we could have been prepared. The food itself was tasty, but definitely not worth the wait. This is truly ridiculous.

Normally it was always delicious, but this time it was inedible. But it happens. I sent an email with the complaint and what they were going to do about it, but no response. So I started looking for a new Chinese restaurant.

What's going on here? I've placed an order for the second time. The menu says it's for 4-5 people! These must be small children, right? Ugh, three people are looking at each other like, "Is that all?" I've been a customer for years. Now it's enough. Bye bye.

The food isn't great; it doesn't even come close to authentic Chinese food. Here you'll find greasy, salty, and bland food. Avoid.

Today you guys didn't seem to feel like it. No taste in all the food. Little meat in the dishes seemed vegan. Little vegetables in bami, Babi pangang also had no sauce...last time for me.

Food was cold and meat tough. Very.bad. Update: In the meantime the quality had improved again. My penultimate order was bad. Food very expensive and not very good. Sauces are very sweet and portions are ridiculously small. Very disappointing.

After the food was half an hour late, they added extra satay sticks instead of noodles. You call and say the rude girl on the phone can't have packed it myself. Yes, three containers, but instead of noodles, extra skewers, she says, you have to tell me that right away. Now it is exchanged, half an hour later, but then she has to get the skewers back. Great, I hope no one else gets the now cold skewers. This is the last time we order anything there. Just gets worse and worse.

Ordered around 3:00 PM for 6:00 PM... at 6:20 PM we asked where it was, then we were told it was on its way... at 7:15 PM it was finally delivered. Then it all turns out to be small portions, so now we're looking at each other hungrily. And that for almost 90 euros. NEVER AGAIN.

I've never written a review before but this was so bad. I had a chicken soup and tjap tjoy When I got home, I ordered something with a tomato sauce and the soup looked more like a broth with a few strands of shredded chicken. I called that I had ordered trap tjoy and was told that I had to come and pick it up myself. So no, this is your fault. After at least 45 minutes my food arrived, but the delivery lady said that her boss had to take the other container with her. I have never had such bad Chinese food. There was no mushroom in the tjap tjoy. Luckily there was some chicken, otherwise it would have been like eating broth and rice. Very bad

Delicious food, Nasi goreng with broccoli and chicken. It was ready quickly and not expensive.

Fijn afhaal restaurant met enkele tafels om ter plaatse te eten. Vlotte vriendelijke bediening. Eenvoudige maar goede chinese, indonesische en Surinaamse gerechten tegen vriendelijke prijzen. Wij halen hier vaak een hapje als we geen zin hebben om te koken

Opted for take-away and ordered a Menu for 3 people on site. After waiting 40 minutes the food wasn't ready yet, orders are mixed up and they just can't handle it on a busy day. The food was okay but not great, I have eaten better before. Not worth repeating for us

Online besteld, eten een half uur te laat en koud! Bellen heeft geen zin ....ze luisteren niet naar je . Nooit meer. Dit is de laatste keer dat ik iets besteld heb.

Food is good and tastes delicious. Placed the order online. The food was delivered 20 minutes later than stated. Ordered prawn crackers when ordering, but they were not included. Called about it and it was stated that it would be delivered later. After waiting an hour, still no prawn crackers received. This is not the first time that the prawn crackers are missing from the order. A shame, because the food is otherwise delicious.

Vriendelijk personeel en lekker eten.

Loempia speciaal droop van het vet en uitsluitend gevuld met tauge .Verder geen vlees of ei. Pisang Goreng was niet doorgebakken maar was een meelbal met nog rauwe banaan. Wellicht vet niet heet genoeg of te snel gebakken. Hier de eigenaar op gewezen maar geen enkele reactie. Zeer onsmakelijk en als klant kom ik en mijn kennissen hier zeker niet meer. Was in het verleden een aanrader maar hier is nadien niks meer van overgebleven.

Eten besteld. Kwam 20 minuten te laat. De helft van de bestelde gerechten was er niet bij. Bellen. De tweede tas was bij iemand anders afgegeven en die hadd alles al opengemaakt voordat men erachter kwam dat het niet de juiste bestelling was. Wij konden de tweede tas alsnog krijgen. De voorafjes zouden een uur later komen! Liever geld terug.Dat kon niet, dan moesten we alles teruggeven! (We zaten al te eten.) Als compensatie werd ons een extra portie kroepoek aangeboden. Tsjah ...

Voor mij de lekkerste in Lelystad.

Eten smaakt altijd heerlijk! Wachttijd was deze keer wel langer dan aangegeven. Het zou max 10 minuten zijn. Echter dat werd een half uur. Daarom 4 sterren. Verder aanrader!

Eten doorgaans tof maar de bezorging is waardeloos. Regelmatig 15 minuten te vroeg en nu zelfs 35 minuten te laat zonder belletje of verontschuldiging. Men werkt daar binnen wel hard maar dit soort uitlopen in de bezorging zijn echt jammer. Het is ook niet de 1e keer.

Nadat het eten al te laat werd gebracht, troffen we nog meerdere haren aan in het eten...

Heerlijk eten , voor herhaling vatbaar zeer smakelijk.

Het is een afhaal restaurant dus sfeer is moeilijk te beoordelen. Het eten is we heerlijk!!!

Erg goed eten, daardoor vaak druk! Hangt echt een chinese sfeer, je hoort en ziet de keuken, echt op zijn chinees! Je kan er eten, maar meestal afhaal, of bezorgen kan ook!

Altijd succes met de babi pangang. Mager en mals met de lekkerste babi pangang saus.

Vriendelijke mensen die goed eten maken en niet te duur

Goed eten niks mis mee, kom er al jaren .

Het eten is echt lekker. Maar waarschijnlijk toch door de taalbarrière ontstaan er soms verwarring. Helaas al een paar keer gehad, dat wij dagen van te voren voor een verjaardag een bestelling geplaatst hadden voor een specifieke dag. Maar dan werd het niet bezorgd omdat men dacht dat het voor de volgende dag zou zijn. Wij hebben de bestelling maar zelf wezen halen, maar dat is uiteraard niet de bedoeling als je iets besteld om te laten bezorgen.

Het eten is goed. Leuke aardige mensen werken hier.

Blijft zelfs na al die jaren uitstekend afhalen 👍

Java nasi malaka met daging roedjak, satesaus en kipfilet in zwarte bonensaus is smullen!! Nasi malaka staat op de kaart alleen java nasi malaka niet dus let op met bestellen! Lekker pittig garantie!
