In our party if 5, the two people who got milkshakes ended up disappointed. They put ice in it?? When I asked they said it is to keep it cold. Last thing I want when drinking a milkshake is ice shards and icyness. It's supposed to be creamy not icy. Two people had ice creams, both said they were very good. One person had a smoothie and it was also nice. That one did not have massive ice cubes, guess it did not need to keep cold.

We came here after seeing the rating. The thin honey waffle was freshly made and very delicious, but I can't say the same for the regular waffle. They serve pre-made, heated products, and they were too sweet. Other than that, the availability of tea is a plus.

The churros were really good and the staff were really nice

It was a lovely stop for a sweet break. The churros were hot, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The balance of sauce and sugar was also excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, and our order was prepared quickly. The only negative point was that the seating area was a bit limited. Finding a seat during busy hours might be difficult. Other than that, we were satisfied with the taste and service, and it's a place we would choose again.

Go to this place if you are interested in getting scammed. Went to this place and got charged 46 euros for 3 waffles (12 euro each) and some little chocolates which were also extremely overpriced. The workers aren’t really friendly and didn’t seem happy they also were trying to push drinks on you. This place is a complete tourist trap and the food wasn’t even anything special. With 10 euros I am certain I could recreate their bullshit 2 times better. To the owner, you make a living quite literally scamming tourists and you know what your goal is. Thanks 0/10 never going again even for a 100 euro.

Nice and cozy street side café. Prices were relatively somewhat in line with general price level, the shop keeper/cashier was very friendly and he didn't try to sell anything more than we asked for. The creppe I had was delicious! This is a tourist point of view.

The ice cream scoops are tiny. They don't fill the tubs much. They don't have prices displayed and they charge whatever they want. €7 for two scoops of mass-produced ice cream seems outrageous to me. It's usually empty, and there must be a reason for that. The service... They're not very friendly. I wouldn't go back.

The place is lovely and they have waffles, crepes, and ice cream. You walk in and see people clearly captivated by the deliciousness of their sweets. It's a great place to sit and take a break after a long walk with a coffee and a dessert. The staff's service and interaction were excellent, may God bless them. I got a strawberry with chocolate, and the strawberry was fresh and delicious; I enjoyed it. An excellent experience.

Mini waffles were a must while we were in town. These were fresh and you got about 12 per portion. The Nutella topping with twix was ritch and sweet (although only topped with caramel cubes and not actual twix)

If you order churros for €9.50, this is what you'll get (see photo)! Wonderful churros that have been sitting on the counter for ages, reheated and served on a cardboard plate with mismatched plastic cutlery! I specifically asked the vendor if they were fresh before ordering, and he assured me they were. The price was clearly marked, but the value for money is absolutely appalling. And to anticipate your response, no, Amsterdam isn't an expensive city, certainly not more expensive than Paris, but apparently, the churros and waffles here must be made with caviar! In short, all shops like this are tourist traps; keep walking and go eat some good fries or a good apple pie instead! (And there's no need to reply aggressively like you tend to do; it only undermines your credibility.)

Paid €20 for a portion of the mini pancakes with Nutella and 2 power poweraid drinks! When I questioned the price after I was told the drinks were €4.50 each!! The man just smirked when I said tourists prices!

Delicious waffles and a very warm welcome. The ice cream also looked good. The servers are attentive and always ready to meet your needs. Thanks to them, we were able to try the stroopwafel, a typical Amsterdam waffle with syrup. A must-try! And after each visit, the server gave us a 10% discount card for our next trip 😉👍 We'll be back 😊👍 We can't wait for our next trip to Amsterdam!

Terrible service. They forgot our order in the microwave. The taste was awful too. We asked for tap water and they told us to buy it instead, in a really rude and angry way. If you're planning on communicating in English, good luck with that too. Bad temper. I just hope I was there on their bad day and they're not offering this kind of service every day to people.

Terrible experience. The waiter mimicked us in an unpleasant way. The Dutch crepes were expensive and raw inside (13 euros with Nutella and strawberries). He made fun of all the foreign customers. Zero customer service. He literally threw the crepes into the box.

This is a tourist spot, designed for a large crowd. However, they'll make traditional stroopwafels right in front of you with your choice of toppings. The food is quick, and the service is excellent. There are plenty of places to sit.

I don't even understand how this place can have such high ratings. We ordered a bottle of water, a Nutella waffle, and a Dubai Cup, and it came to €30?? Not even in Paris, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, would you pay that much! 🫠 The prices for the waffles were displayed, but not for the chocolate and pistachio strawberries. I suppose they inflated the price a bit. I've had them several times elsewhere, and they weren't nearly as overpriced. However, the waffle was good. Edit: They replied to my review by telling me to look at the menu, lol. If your prices were displayed correctly, I wouldn't have even set foot in your shop! I'm not the only one in the reviews to mention that the price display isn't clear. Who would want to pay €30 for a waffle and chocolate strawberries???

We went there because of the good reviews. While there were examples with various toppings on display, the prices weren't shown. In the end, we paid €14 for a portion of poffertjes, which we felt was completely outrageous. At many other stands we passed afterward, the price was at most half that. Had we seen the price beforehand, we definitely wouldn't have bought anything. Very annoying.

We went in thinking the coffee was cheaper than elsewhere so give it a go. 2 waffles with strawberries and 2 coffees came to 25 Euros, 3.50 x 2 =7 and 6 x 2 =12 so how did it come to 25? During making the coffee the owner sneezed into the coffees, he proceeded to do this three times without catching it with a tissue which was disgusting , I didn’t even drink my drink because of this! The waffle is just a stale £1 waffle warmed up which was disappointing! Tourist trap if I ever saw one!

Great cannolis. Man behind the counter was super friendly. Some guy outside berated me for sitting there with trash from his store while I was finishing my coffee. It was from another store but I didn’t know they had coffee at this place and had gotten some prior and just wanted to try the cannolis. Felt like I should not have bought from him because of the way he acted. I didn’t know.

We went in hoping to find good products. The few prices displayed were in line; for example, you could choose a waffle and some toppings, although the final price wasn't exactly clear since it wasn't listed on the toppings. So we opted for a ready-made waffle, thinking it would be in line with the price we were making. Instead, once heated up, they told us the price: €12 for a waffle as big as a hand and topped with Nutella (?). Crumbled Lotus biscuits, but soft, like Kinder Buenos, probably because they'd been made for a while. The same goes for the waffle. We were convinced we'd paid one more, but when they told us there was still one left to pay, we were shocked. Definitely a tourist trap to stay away from. It's a shame because it looked inviting.

They can make hot Dutch waffles on the spot in addition to the display samples for warming up. Be careful with toppings. If you add too much, it will be too sweet.
