Best ice cream parlor in the Netherlands

One of the tastiest Italian ice cream shops in the Netherlands for more than 50 years. Please note, they are now (12/14/2024) closed for the winter season! They will open again on March 1, 2025. (I will try to adjust the opening hours on Google Maps).

Super tasty ice cream, we have become regular customers since a few weeks. They did recommend me a (new) ice cream flavor and it ended up being very nasty. Staff is also super nice. Edit: it's a pity that Pisa ice cream only recently opens from 1:00 PM as my break is over right then..

This is where you have to go for the tastiest ice cream in Amsterdam. In addition, the people are always super friendly. We have been coming there for years with great pleasure!

Exceptional gelato. I recommend pistachio, hazelnut, banana and caramel.

Visited this one today after not having tried it in 10 years. It is still great and a bang for your buck. 3 flavours in a cup for 4.20! I got the pistachio(8/10), cookies(8/10) and hazelnut(9/10). The hazelnut flavour was recommended by them. It was my first time trying hazelnut and I was blown away by the creaminess of the ice cream and the round flavour of it. Definitely a great ice cream place in the 'Rivierenbuurt'.

Taste good but portion is small compared to other places in Amsterdam

Very tasty milk and sorbet ice cream! Very affordable, especially compared to other Italian ice cream parlors in the area. We often come here in the evening for an ice cream.

Simply the best. Authentic Italian ice cream with incredible creaminess. I've tried many flavors since I started coming here, and the Pistachio and Hazelnut combo is my favorite. But honestly, every flavor is perfect. No matter what you choose, you can't go wrong. If you can't make it to Italy, just visit Pisa Ice Cream.

Delicious ice cream, lots of variation in taste, but no disco dip or bubbles for the little ones, just whipped cream.

My favorite flavour so far is yogurt. Creamy rich yogurt.

It’s always very busy during the summertime. They close at midnight, which is great if you enjoy late-night ice cream in nice weather! Despite the high volume of customers, the service is always friendly. The pistachio flavor is creamy and smooth—very nice! 👍🏽 I definitely recommend it.

My go-to ice cream parlor for hot days, Italian ice cream served by Italians. It can't get any better than that!

Best dark chocolate ice cream I've ever had. All the other flavors were great too but the dark chocolate I'll be dreaming about for the rest of my life or until I return! This place tastes like summer in Amsterdam.

Quite a big selection, fast service and great taste. they have after eight which is a bit more difficult to find in Amsterdam

Small stand with excellent ice cream: delicious and Italian, so difficult to find here in Amsterdam. It has now become a fixed destination if we want an Italian ice cream. Perhaps the only flaw is the location, as it is not very central to the city and it is not a shop where you can sit at a table, rather it is in a small square near a fairly large intersection and therefore a bit in the middle of the smog. But the ice cream is very good and I must say considering the prices, very feasible (Italian prices) and not absurd like other competing ice cream shops found right here in Amsterdam. It's a shame that it's still not as well known as it should be: there's a queue here too but when talking to friends and colleagues they always mention other ice cream shops and never this one.

You pay many times more for a container with 2 scoops than a cone. This is not clearly stated anywhere.

Lemon & Banana flavor were so delicious 🥵 I had a combination of 🍌, 🥥, 🍋 & pistachio. Coconut and pistachio were delicious. I'm normally not even a fan of bananas, but this was truly next level enjoyment man. It tastes a bit like Danonetje banana. Lemon was delicious too! Just like you have a delicious lemon sorbet in your mouth; Nice and sour and fresh, I just felt like I was in Italy.🍋🇮🇹

Ginevra, Natasha and Danilo were absolute sweethearts. The ice cream was delicious but they brought such a lovely vibe to the place, which was the cherry on top! Yummy gelato, awesome team of people, lots of flavors!

Long lines when the weather is nice, but that might also be part of the atmosphere. You stand in a long line and then enjoy a super delicious scoop of ice cream. The wait only makes you want that Pisa ice cream even more.

Very good ice cream but make sure you have CASH or a native DEBIT CARD. They don't take credit cards. As a result of that, a very nice woman paid for my cone.

The best pistachio ice cream in the Netherlands!! We drive especially from the Utrecht area for the delicious ice cream. Pistachio and ameretto cookies are our favorite. But everything is tasty, so definitely try it.

On one of the warmest days in September we decided to get some ice cream. I remembered this place from my childhood and brought my fiancée for a scoop. It looked busy, but the Que went by fast. You have the option out of 20+ flavors. I sampled the ginger flavor. Definitely recommend that flavor. Visit this as much as you can! It's lovely

This is the best gelato shop in all of Amsterdam (if not NL)! Sorbetti e gelati buonissimi, sapori tradizionali e originali! A spoiled Italian here happy to have such a great place close to home, and if I could gove 6 starts I would.

Het ijs is heerlijk! Jammer dat het plezier van een ijsje halen wordt bederft door de altijd enorm chagrijnige kale medewerker. Daarom 2 sterren..

Ijs was lekker maar net iets te zacht. Om een kledderboel te voorkomen moest er snel gegeten worden (was t nog geen eens 25 graden!)
