We went last Friday. Unfortunately, the experience was mediocre. The starter was Vitello Tonnato, the main course was Tagliata di Manzo. Upon arrival, we were given a table upstairs and inside because there was no room on the terrace. Understandable. I asked the waitress if she could move us outside if something became available. She went to fix it. No such luck. At one point, there were about 10 free seats outside, and we were still inside. I spoke to the waitress again. She went to check and fix it. No such luck. So I asked a young man with an earpiece. 30 seconds later, we were sitting outside on the terrace. When I ordered Tagliata di Manzo, the same young woman didn't ask about the cooking method. Strange. When I confronted her about it, she said, "It's always cooked medium." Since I don't like cod on my plate, I asked for it to be rare. She was taken aback. I repeated this three times, and I'm sure she still didn't know what I was talking about. When I received my main course, it came with nothing. No fries, no pasta, nothing. It would have been nice if the young lady had mentioned/asked me. Consequently, I had to order something extra at that point, even though my meat had already been served (read: was getting cold). I'd really liked some pasta with it, with some olive oil. They didn't have it! Hello?? An Italian who doesn't serve pasta as a side dish? Faut le faire... So I ordered fries instead... And guess what... the fries arrived, of course, when my plate was already 3/4 empty... And then the fries... What a disappointment... Paper-thin frozen fries straight from McDonald's, for €5.50 per portion. A bill of €106 for two people. I expected better...

The chef invited our daughter to sprinkle mozzarella, slid her creation into the roaring oven, and delivered it back bubbling—the pride in her eyes was priceless family magic.

Een leuke locatie, boven is het gezellig. Mooi uitzicht. Bediening viel tegen. Ze kijken rond maar zien niets. We moesten, nadat de menukaart al even dicht op tafel lag, zelf vragen of we iets konden bestellen. Het plankje vleeswaren en kaas wat we vooraf namen, was karig en miste uitleg. De pizza en het kipgerecht smaakten prima. We misten een bordje voor de botjes en een vochtig doekje voor na het kluiven. De wijn die we bestelden hebben we niet gekregen maar stond wel op de rekening. Het afrekenen ging ook niet correct. Er werd te weinig terugbetaald. Jammer! Te veel minpunten om nog eens terug te gaan.

We asked for a red wine to pair with seafood, and the waiter enthusiastically recommended a volcanic-soil Nero d’Avola. It perfectly complemented our linguine and was even cheaper than the house wine.

Nice place with a beautiful view. Very good food and an extensive wine list. One minor point: When the restaurant gets busier, you notice the service declines. It all takes a little too long, even though there are plenty of staff.

After ordering two pizzas at the Hoofddorp location on Concourslaan, I decided to dine at the Aalsmeer location this time (see review). Parking is free and easily accessible. The welcome is friendly. Once upstairs, I was allowed to choose a table on their terrace. I had made a reservation for this via the website. The partially covered terrace is the ideal seating area for summer days. It has a beautiful view of the W.Plas lake and several shady spots. We had to wait 15 minutes for our two drinks and only received them after asking, even later than the appetizers we had ordered shortly before. The serving of the drinks could be improved. The appetizers were good, but the pizzas were a bit disappointing compared to the Hoofddorp location, although they were still excellent! The staff regularly asked if everything was to our liking. I would have liked to give them 5 stars. We will definitely be back! 🍕 🍝🍷

Yesterday, I visited the restaurant with a group of friends. The food was a definite highlight – fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, the service didn’t quite match the quality of the dishes. It took a long time for a waiter to come and take our order, and after our meals were served, we felt a bit overlooked and had to ask for assistance. The Pornstar Martini was missing its signature garnish – fresh passion fruit – and was also a little too sweet for our taste. Overall, a bit of a shame, as the food itself was very good.

Delicious food with a beautiful view over the water, what more could you want on a summer evening?

After very good experience in Christiani Hoofddorp that was second and last time in Christiani Aalsmeer. We were with group of 9 people there for Sunday early dinner and from the begging we were ignored by restaurant staff... After ordering first drinks we were waiting 45 min for waiter but nobody showed up so we just asked if we can finally order food. During dinner nobody showed up at the table to ask if maybe we would like to order some drinks etc, after dinner nobody showed up to ask if we want to coffee, extra drinks, dessert or whatever. Around this time restaurant was empty and only one table was taken so that also doesn't explain really not professional staff behaviour. They were even not nice or friendly, all our group had the feeling we are just ignored and staff is waiting for us the leave. Food was tasting good, only my pizza was cold probably because of waiting time. And cocktails, not recommend at all, how you can serve Pornstar Martini without passion fruit in it? That's only not part of decoration of the cocktail, Pornstar Martini should look and taste this way... And yes, we maybe should ask staff about it and about cold pizza, but it's also not nice thing to do during the dinner, trying to find restaurant staff as they disappeared all the time and we really needed to ask them to show up at the table...

Fantastic (semi-covered) terrace with great views over the water and the food was excellent!

Rigatoni emerged al dente, its ridges holding a slow-simmered tomato sauce kissed with oregano; proof that confident ingredients and precise timing create magic.

The dessert was especially delicious. The pasta itself was very tasty, but my girlfriend's risotto was mostly tomato sauce and very little pasta. That could definitely have been different. There's also a beautiful view of the Westeinderplassen lakes.

Amazing food. Great service. Brilliant selection of wines to go with. We were a bunch of vegetation had all courses with veggie options. Pizza and pasta are best ! Service is on point even when the place is pretty busy.

After a fifty-kilometer ride the hearty lasagna layered with béchamel felt restorative; staff kept refilling iced water and suggested post-meal espresso for the road.

we had a 2 persons reserve here, food was good, I had a vegi food, ravioli and my partner steak , both were good, wine was tasty, personnels were kind and friendly, we waited a little maybe 10mins to get menu,… It was also very full and crowded, we had a good experience there

Good atmosphere and delicious food

Although the pike-perch fillet was a bit oversalted, the food was very tasty and high-quality. The service could be better, however: it took far too long between courses, and dessert was probably forgotten. Water was served at other tables – but not at ours! And that was despite the restaurant being only about 50% full. A generous 4 stars!

We had the 7 course taster menu here and it was delicious. My favorites were the eggplant and the scallops. The atmosphere is good, you notice that the energetic team is looking forward to it. We will definitely come back

We enjoyed your introductory menu! The accompanying texts were also excellent! However, we missed something: when we reviewed the menu again at home, we discovered that we hadn't received one of the seven (!) courses... The 'Crudo di Capesante' and accompanying wine hadn't been served to us! Finally, a small complaint about the speakers, which blasted loud beats for four hours.

We enjoyed another wonderful tasting evening of the new menu. I'm a big fan of a changing menu; it shows that the restaurant and the chef value their customers and want to make every visit a treat. There were seven beautiful dishes, delicious and varied. The special dish that Chef Leen prepared was definitely the perfect finishing touch for my husband; he's already making another reservation for next week ;-) The atmosphere is always great, with friendly ladies and gentlemen who make your evening a real treat. Very tasty food, nice atmosphere, very friendly staff

This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had, and I feel sad to leave my first-ever bad review because it was just that ridiculous. We chose the “trial menu,” assuming it would be a quick and organized tasting experience. It should have been simple to execute for any restaurant with even a basic level of coordination. Instead, we received only 2 out of the 7 dishes — and then nothing. We waited over an hour with no updates, no apology, and no sign that the rest of the food was coming. We raised our concerns multiple times, but the staff were completely indifferent and running around in chaos, clearly overwhelmed and disorganized. It was frustrating to watch, and even more frustrating to be ignored. After an hour of waiting with no food and no explanation, we decided to leave. Shockingly, the waiter, who was incredibly rude as it turned out, still charged us 50% of the meal. His justification? That it’s normal to wait that long and that he was being generous by only charging us half. We were served 2 out of 7 dishes. That’s not generosity, that’s insulting… I have never experienced such poor service, lack of professionalism, or such an unapologetic attitude from restaurant staff. Waiting endlessly, and paying for a meal you never receive… what a joke

From the outside you wouldn't expect what's inside! Large establishment, with terrace. Extremely friendly service, food fine (no culinary masterpiece) but just good and tasty. Price quality ratio fine. And the view from the terrace is great! Had a great evening!

With 37.5 degrees on the terrace above. You burned away. With such temperatures you either need a large parasol or an indoor restaurant open. The pizza was very tasty. It was busy and therefore took a very long time to order at all. Scroppino was served in a wine glass and not as it should be in a flute and the content was also very minimal. Beautiful view of the Westeinderplas. Will come back again, but then on a slightly cooler day

After being turned away from a nearby spot, we stumbled upon this gem—and it turned out to be the perfect choice! The staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming, seating our family of four (two adults and two kids, ages 8 and 9) right away. The kids ordered a margherita pizza and pasta with marinara, both of which were simple, fresh, and delicious. My husband and I shared the crab appetizer, eggplant appetizer, and a pesto pizza. The eggplant was a standout—rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We even saved the cheese from the crab dish to enjoy with the pizza crust! The ambiance was charming and relaxed, and the setting was surprisingly kid-friendly. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish—we couldn’t have asked for more.

Upon arrival we were helped in a friendly manner and we could go upstairs because we had made a reservation for the terrace. We got some table water and the menu fairly quickly. After taking the drinks order it took half an hour before we got them. It was definitely not busy at this point. The food was good and it was also served fairly quickly. Unfortunately, that was not the case with the drinks. We had ordered a second round and had to ask for it three times, the third time it turned out that no drinks had been put into the system at all. We ordered again and they arrived when we had already finished the main course. Not that bad because we still wanted a dessert. After we had ordered the dessert we only walked to the cash register for the bill after waiting for half an hour. When we asked for the bill the waitress said very wisely when making up the bill, you didn't have any dessert!! All in all a not very good experience.

We come here regularly for the delicious pizzas. Really the most delicious! But yesterday we went for the 4-course dinner. It was delicious from anti pasti, primo, secondi to doulci. Super delicious all of it. Really haven't eaten so deliciously in a restaurant in a long time. The chef served himself, came to ask if everything tasted good and helped with the choice of doulci. He also gave us a small version of his delicious chocolate brownie as a gift. This name does not do this dessert justice. The chocolate really melts on your tongue. In short... fantastic food, great service, personal attention... a big 10!

We had a great meal here. The pizzas were super fresh and deliciously topped, delicious cappuccino and home made tiramisu. Really recommended.

Saturday before Pentecost we had dinner at Christiani. It was busy but we had made a reservation. It was noisy and very warm. The service was attentive and quick. Nice menu with nice dishes and a promising wine list. We drank prosecco, white and red wine. At the same time we had different antipasti, which were all delicious. Also a good platter of cheeses and cold cuts. However, the glasses were downright meagerly poured, I wondered if this would remain the case the whole evening. Serving glasses below "the line" is simply not okay. With the grande papardelle with lamb ragu and the melanisme parmigiana we had to consult the wine list again. The Pavonero Primitivi di Manduria costs almost €40. That is really over the top for this wine. We chose the Barbera d'Asti, although for the same price but just a little better in terms of price/quality. The papardelle was excellent in taste, the melanzane was lukewarm and bland in taste, but we had salt and pepper on the table for that. After the meal we ordered a Vin Santo (dessert wine). This was served in a 3/4 filled small gin glass, while you have separate glasses for that. On a next visit we would like to see the glasses filled "normally"!

Everything we ordered was delicious – you can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The portions were decent, and the value for money was absolutely fine. Good and fast service. Nice location and good food.

We were there on a Monday evening for my daughter's birthday. They had decorated the table nicely, so that was a nice introduction. Furthermore, it was very busy with a large group and the entire upper floor was full. Service was very nice. We had a focaccia as a starter, which I found a bit dry. As a main course we had three different pizzas and two pastas. We had to wait almost 1.5 hours for our main course! When it arrived, one pasta was still raw and everything was stuck together. We sent it back and a new one was made. This was also partly hard and stuck together. The other pasta should have been a large portion, but we found that disappointing. When paying, we did say that not everything was to our liking and that we had to wait a very long time. The one pasta was therefore taken off our bill. All in all, not a nice experience for us on my daughter's birthday.

Cozy restaurant. We ate here on a Monday, even then it was full. Reasonably popular restaurant. What I did find was that the pizzas were lukewarm to cold when served. The taste was reasonable. That makes my three stars instead of 4. In addition, the service also took quite a long time. Very friendly service!

This is the first time it was disappointing We come regularly and for the first time it was below average. 19:30 reserved was busy no place No problem we drink something at the bar. At 20:00 a table next to an open staircase where people are constantly walking up and down That next to my food. Doesn't seem very hygienic to me, so we asked for and got another table. So far still acceptable and reasonable service. We order a starter, After 15 minutes it still wasn't there, understandable because it was very busy. We ordered our pizzas in advance. And then it went wrong, the pizzas appear after 15 minutes it is 20:30 at that time We explain that the starter hasn't been there yet and that we would like to have it first. Not for nothing a starter. Pizzas went back and we got our starter with a stoic look. After the starter we got our warm pizzas. They were 1 burnt and 2 it was rock hard. When asked if everything was to our liking we answered honestly. So we were offered a drink on the house. In itself fine but a pity that the pizzas were kept warm to then shove it under the customer's nose again.

Update: in the meantime, manager Jorn has contacted me by email and he has been courteous and generous with us, We had reserved a table at 5:00 PM. When our drink was taken, he clearly indicated that we really had to leave at 6:45 PM. No problem, said the man who we think was the manager, (who later spent more time looking at his tablet than actively working) that a 7-course menu is possible in that time. That sounded positive. My sister's ordered drink did not arrive. We tried several times to get the attention of one of the employees, about 5 of them were standing at the bar, but paying attention or getting active, no way. We ordered our food. Bread basket, to kill some time. 2 x lasagna, 1 x focaccia and 1 pizza. Doesn't seem too complicated to us. Around 6:00 PM we finally asked where the food was (even then it was not easy to get the attention of one of the employees), because in the meantime a table next to us with about 10 people and a table behind us with 6 people who both arrived a lot later than us, already had their food. We also indicated again that we really had to leave at 6:45 PM. Something had gone wrong with the order. The employee indicated that she had told them that they really had to hurry. (Incidentally, this lady was the only one who really tried her best and was also ashamed of the way things were going). Finally the food arrived around 6:20 PM. We sincerely hoped that the food would taste good to make up for it somewhat, but unfortunately. The lasagna was a special combination with little taste and not warm on the inside, focaccia okay, pizza okay. Unfortunately there was no time to send it back. When asked if we wanted a drink on the house we had to say no, given how long everything took before it arrived, we indicated: do something with the bill. The manager did not show up to apologize. I think the amount of food that was still on the plates said enough about how it tasted. The bill arrived around 18:42. We were curious what had been done with it in a positive way. Well, the basket of bread had not been calculated. We indicated that it was a real shame that not more had been done with it. The employee indicated that she did not fully agree with it either and that she could still call the manager. But dear people..... we really had to leave! All in all, a not positive experience in this restaurant. It is also special that the manager does not come to our table a little earlier, while it is very clear that we are not satisfied.

Nice restaurant. Price-quality is affordable. The service was good. The area is beautiful and has a beautiful view. The restaurant is fine, a bit less 'luxury' but that gives a bit of that old Italian vibe.

We had a delicious meal at Christiani again! This time we ordered the house specialty: Costata di Manzo con verdure di stagione e patate al forno. Cote de boeuf, seasonal vegetables and potatoes from abroad. Highly recommended, it was very tasty.

Delicious food again. A delicious 7-course menu from the new spring menu. A nice combination of fish and meat dishes. Pleasant service, attentive and cheerful. You can see that all the waiting staff really enjoy their work. On to the next dinner, will definitely come back.

We visited twice and were disappointed both times due to long waiting times. It took 30 minutes to get a menu, and after ordering (starters and main courses were ordered at once), we waited another 30 minutes without any starters arriving and had to ask a waiter, and it seemed they had been forgotten. After finally having it on our table, mains took another 40 minutes of waiting. To smooth the situation out a waiter offered drinks on the house, thanks for that, but it doesn’t change the fact that the restaurant is clearly understaffed (kitchen also) and has more tables than can be properly managed.

The food was tasty, so I have no further comments about that. Unfortunately the service was on the poor side. It was very slow and we had to wait an hour for our dessert because our table had been forgotten.

Today we went back for more pizza, this time we ate the Pizza Del Mese, a new one being added to the menu, it is a Bianca pizza with Parma ham, truffle oil and a soft perfect egg in the middle. All that I can say, that after many years of eating pizza all around the world, that this pizza was one of best I have ever tasted. Well done Guys, this is certainly a winner.
