Very nice hotel, perfect location, friendly staff, everything very relaxed. We'd love to come back...the breakfast is also great, everything you need.

We celebrated our wedding party at the Wapen van Aalsmeer with 75 guests. First drinks from 4 o'clock and at 7 o'clock an extensive 5-course dinner (plus amuse). It was FAN-TAS-TICly organized. Extensive snack platters and smooth service. The dinner exceeded all expectations: tasteful, beautiful presentation and even with 75 people it went smoothly. Because we live on Bonaire, we stayed there for a few days. It was also well organized on the other days and a great breakfast. Nice and cozy hotel bar too. For a next visit to the Netherlands we know where we will come back! Thank you Stephan and Isabel (+ crew) for the great and carefree organization of our party.

Last Friday we had dinner with a group of 8 people. Price/quality ratio is far from ideal. First of all, we had to wait a very long time for our dishes while the restaurant was not full. Not everyone was served at the same time, in the meantime the rest had already started. Small tournedos for 35 euros that was overcooked. 3 lousy small containers of fries were brought at the end of the main course when we were almost done. The staff threw a glass of beer in the crotch of my dinner guest who had just had an operation. If this had hit the wound…..??? Another friend ordered very expensive red wine and it was emptied into his glass with the dregs. Finally, 3 of us were served a dessert and the rest were forgotten. No apologies when we reported it. This was finally cancelled. End result: a bill of 600 euros; carpaccio nothing special, tough meat and less of a dessert (3 scoops of ice cream with chocolate sauce for 15 euros!!) It was my idea to eat here, so I am mortified. Such a waste of money and the irritation. We won't be coming back here again.

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. I only used the bar and apart from the young bartender with dark hair - who was very tactful, friendly and polite - the rest of the service was really bad.

Super tasty food! Nice menu with very original snacks of the day and the service is also very pleasant and all in all highly recommended! The cook makes beautiful dishes. We would love to come back again!

Food was delicious and friendly staff

We sat at a table at 18:30 and the main course arrived at 20:00. The restaurant was totally empty, we were the only table. Soon we understood why, they brought some flatfish claiming it is tarbot but there was no taste in what they brought. Aalsmeer is a beautiful place with really good restaurants, you may easily find somewhere else, this place does not deserve a chance.

Nous avons pris avec des amis un excellent déjeuner servi par la ravissante Anne très sympathique. L'ambiance est très bonne, les repas de très bonne qualité et la décoration magnifique. Il y a également une terrasse. Nous nous sommes sentis chez nous. Bravo à Anne et au cuisinier. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Les 8 alsaciens et leur guide Peter

What incredibly nice service. And everything we asked for, outside of the menu, was possible! You have two different cards. Also a café menu. This is very accessible. The other is a bit more chic. The children were allowed to make the desserts themselves in the kitchen: great fun!

A somewhat secluded gem, providing excellent service, atmosphere and most importantly, exquisite food. Not expensive, very friendly staff, and the possibility to sit in a church park and enjoy the Dutch sun.

Left a restaurant for the first time because the service was really bad. First of all, we had to wait a very long time for the drinks, and we felt completely unwelcome. The waitress avoided us, kept sighing, didn't smile and didn't say a nice word. We indicated that we no longer wanted to eat due to these circumstances and were then given the drinks for free. We left and went to eat somewhere else. Quality & service has deteriorated enormously in recent years, which is a shame.

Staff is absolutely lovely. The young women are kind and smiling, which makes those two times at the « brasserie » a success. Thanks for your lovely attention to our dog, Honey. The snacks are tasty and the meal more than enough! Prices are correct. We recommend. See you soon. Victoria & Nicolas.

Good location and decent menu but the service was really poor. Had to wait a very long time to get attention. Initially thought this was due to unexpected crowd but not being apologetic about it gives an impression that it is normal service here. Not a place for a frequent visit.

Sehr empfehlenswert... Super Qualität, sehr gut. Preis Leistung ist top... Wir würden immer wieder hier hin kommen. Wir würden 5 Sterne von 5 vergeben.

Helaas was de avond wat eten betreft zeer teleurstellend. Voorgerecht was okay maar het hoofdgerecht was triest. Bij de helft van het gezelschap was het eten koud of rauw. Na melding en terug sturen was het vlees opgewarmd. Tot 2 keer aan toe kwam de opgewarmde ossenhaas en kip saté terug. Dit konden we zien aan de stukjes die we geproefd hadden. Uiteindelijk heb we van het hoofdgerecht een paar frietjes en well done ossenhaas gegeten want de saus en salade bleven vervolgens achterwege. Jammer

Went out for dinner with 8 people, service was good, the kitchen could still use some practice as even with 3 people, satay after sending it back twice is still not great and it took a long time before you got your food

In honor of my mother's birthday, I had dinner with the family. Delicious food and drinks, but it took a very long time for the starters to arrive. After this it went smoothly. Very friendly service. To be repeated!

Old-fashioned atmosphere. Food could really be better. Not for repetition. Very few fries. Food is poor, meat dry and not of special quality, satay sauce worse than a jar from a supermarket. I was with foreign guests and felt ashamed. Waiter was nice. Very expensive for this quality.

Super lekker gegeten en 2 amuses van het huis. Super leuke bediening. En op een van mooiste plekken in Aalsmeer dorp. Met een prachtig terras onder de kastanjes van de oude kerk

Mussels! They are back and prepared to perfection in this restaurant. No sand. My wife is completely enthusiastic. Just like last year. Great adherence to quality.

Omdat moeder 88 was geworden, hier gegeten. Beperkte kaart met chique namen voor de gerechten. Ik had de gamba's als hoofdgerecht en die was erg smaakvol. De ceasar salade van mijn vrouw was erg karig met kale blaadjes sla en zonder dressing. Ook geen geraspte kaas. Dat kan veel beter. De biefstuk in wijnsaus was smaakvol en lekker. Met drank voor 50 euri pp gegeten en dat is prijzig. Wel een hele mooie zaak trouwens. Mooie schone en grote toiletten en ruim opgezet en leuk ingericht restaurant.

Good rooms, delicious food, pleasant staff, a very nice hotel.

Delicious food. They really try to make something of it, but if you only sit there with 1 table, it feels a bit cold. But the service and quality of the food are top notch.

We have been visiting Het Wapen van Aalsmeer very regularly in recent years. I think the atmosphere and cuisine - maybe just my thing - are very good. M.n. the 'day snacks' have a very favorable price/quality ratio. I can recommend this location to everyone.

Understanding in Aalsmeer. Good quality price ratio. Friendly service. Neat entourage. Always cosy.

The delicious satay was delicious

Super friendly service and delicious food. Was there with a Belgian friend who was also extremely pleased.

14/09 Waitress very grumpy, had to ask 2 waitresses 3 times if we could have water, tap water for which we also had to pay. After asking, the water was not thrown at our heads but was placed on the table very angrily. There wasn't a smile since we sat on the terrace. Food (especially fries and sweet potato fries) was very salty even though it looked super tasty. Schnitzel tough. All in all a waste of money.

We had another delicious, extensive meal last night. The tuna as a starter, the bavette and/or plaice fillet as a main course and the key lime pie (the waitress' favorite) are highly recommended. The fact that you also get an amuse and spoon here gives the whole an extra nice touch. The presentation of the dishes is a feast for the eyes and the friendly service made the evening complete.

Delicious food in a quiet atmosphere

Well varied menu. With varying dishes. Price technically top.

Disappointed, we come dressed casually as tourists and you feel like you're being treated condescendingly and the older waitress comes across as very arrogant. The menu was very small, wine glasses were simply given without asking if you wanted wine The dish we ordered was disappointing... the hottest part of the meal was the plate and why would you put cold vegetables under theoretically hot meat... Sorry for the bad review but we're used to better things
