I found something to eat for myself in Amsterdam. It was pretty good.

Çiğ Köfte is simply delicious. The advantage is that it's vegetarian: everyone can enjoy it. The owner is always very friendly. Definitely recommended. Tip: for first-timers, try the less spicy version first.

I've been ordering from here since the day they opened. I am a spicy cigkofte lover myself and have tried the flavor in various places. This Cigkoftem really stands out! I have nothing to add other than 5 stars. Saw other reviews about the "lettuce". I assume that when the lettuce is delivered to you, you wash it twice? A very pleasant, sweet gentleman who always prepares a delicious cigkofte and has nice conversations. I also find that delivery is always arranged quickly. Delicious food! Definitely worth 5 stars!

Hygiene is not an issue here. The lettuce was covered in aphids. Also be aware that this is fresh lettuce and when washed it may not properly remove all the bugs from inside. But this was not the case in this situation. Lettuce aphids were already present in the first leaves. Can say with certainty that this was simply unwashed. I probably even ate a few unintentionally because it made me so sick the next day! When I reached them about this, I was immediately treated dirty. Instead of offering an apology, I was barely yelled at. The concern here seemed to be more about the fact that I had posted a review. In short, do you miss some friends in your belly and do you like being treated unfairly? Then this is the place ;)

There was a super sweet Amca working there who made the cig kofte “with a lot of love” for me and my girlfriend. Tastiest cig koftem so far + very friendly amca :)

Lekkerste Cigkofte van Nederland! Het heeft een volle smaak en is goed gekruid. Meneer in de winkel is ook hartstikke lief en heeft ons goed geholpen.

We took away falafel and it was super tasteless with unprepared salad.

Voor eerste keer geprobeerd en de vriendelijke eigenaar zei me al dat ik verslaafd zou raken, en gelijk had hij. Onderweg at ik al bijna de helft op en thuis was hij zo op doordat het zo lekker is en gekruid. Ik raad dit een ieder aan, het is echt niet te vergelijken met andere eten.

How many vegetarian/vegan Turkish places are there in Amsterdam? My feeling is not many, so I love that about this place. Plus the food is just legit delicious. Service is great too. The owner clearly knows about food, cares about healthy eating & the planet & that's pretty rare in the snack food business, so I really love this place. I have become a regular, eating lunch there about once a week/fortnight & everything is always so fresh & well prepared. I recommend this place if you're in the mood for fast food of the Turkish variety, but want something a little more fresh & healthy.

Can't say anything about the quality of the food but there must have a bathroom. Can't wash your hands before eating is not hygienic. Since there are tables to sit down should also be a wc available. Common sense.

We love cigkoftem. Their cigkofte is delicious and always of perfect quality. The owner is very kind and always chats up when we wait for our order. While waiting we can try out different stuff. We come here from a different city to treat ourselves. You guys should definitely open up in more cities.

Decent place for a quick vegan/vegetarian bite. I got the çigköfte roll (bulgur wheat and spices paste in a wrap with lettuce, scallions, pickles, and mint) which was decent, one gevulde köfte (a bit dry in my opinion), and one ayran (Turkish salty yogurt drink; only thing in my menu that wasn’t vegan) for €5,50. Accepts cards; no bathroom though.

Ik heb hier vandaag heerlijk gegeten met een Italiaanse vegetarische vriendin die ik op bezoek heb. Na 3 dagen had ik alle voor mij bekende vegetarische restaurants al bezocht met mijn bezoek toen ik vandaag hier kwam. Het eten is heerlijk, eenvoudig en vers, prijzen zijn laag. Zowel mijn vegetarische kennis als ik hebben genoten van het eten, eigenaar is vriendelijk en wist veel te vertellen over het eten.

Vandaag voor het eerst geprobeerd. Blij verrast! Erg lekker van smaak en structuur. Ook erg gezond en vers net als de toppings. Schone nette zaak. Hele vriendelijke eigenaar, mocht vooraf een stukje proeven. Benieuwd naar de andere gerechten.
