Yesterday I ordered food from CIGKOFTEM and the service was absolutely the worst ever. After waiting an hour, I called and was told the delivery driver had already been on his way for 15 minutes. Then I waited another hour—two hours in total—and still no order. I tried calling 11 times, but no one answered. The order was never delivered. This is utterly disrespectful to customers. I will never order from them again.

Portions are really small compared to the price. Cig köfte is made of very simple ingredients, so I don’t get why it’s overpriced. I’ve been here several times, and honestly the service is usually not that great either. I wish you guys the best, but to be fair, I find other cig köfte places have much better taste..

This is a great place! It’s vegan! Food is well seasoned, it’s light, but at the same time filling, I really enjoy the sauce and spicy and the pickled veggies that come with it! Something quick and easy to grab and go!

The staff kept putting gloves on and taking them off, and eventually touched the wrap with bare hands. The sauce seemed spoiled, with a sour, rotten tomato paste taste. I ordered spicy, but they gave me mild. In short, there’s no hygiene, no flavor, and no customer care. Any money you spend here is as good as thrown away.

What an unpleasant and aggressive lady!

Hi everyone, I was just about to buy a sandwich at this shop. I was really hungry because they have delicious wraps, but I was verbally and almost physically attacked! I had to leave the shop for my own safety! My debit card wasn't working, and it normally works in all other shops. This woman got really angry and started shouting loudly, "Get cash or I'll have to throw this bread away." I said, "Sorry, ma'am, I can't use a credit card," and she still kept coming towards me, and I got out of there scared! What struck me was that she was on the phone with her friend on speakerphone, very antisocial, and not wearing gloves. When she grabbed the wrap, she put on gloves, but she had already touched them without gloves! But then I left the shop terrified, and her neighbor gave me water and told me my story! My whole evening was ruined. I just wanted a sandwich. :( This woman was about 55 years old and was wearing a headscarf. Kind regards,

My wife and I have been coming here almost every week for years and we continue to enjoy it every time. The çiğköfte wraps are always fresh, tasty and perfectly seasoned. What really makes this place special is the consistent quality: you just know it's always good. The people behind the counter are friendly, hospitable and know exactly what we want - a small gesture, but it makes every lunch that little bit more personal. And all that at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a tasty, affordable and plant-based lunch option, this is highly recommended.

Delicious Turkish çīgköfte wrap! Fresh, vegetarian, healthy and large (for only €6). Or try lentil soup (mercemek). There is also a very nice boy working there, a student from Istanbul, he serves with great attention and quickly, something you rarely encounter in Amsterdam! Recommended.

The outside of this place looks really bad. The windows are covered with unnecessary and ugly stickers, which gives a messy impression. Outside there is a billboard that is completely broken and is held together with adhesive tape. A new board only costs €50, so that doesn't seem like a big investment to me. On the other hand, it is neat inside, but the service leaves much to be desired. I had to wait a very long time before I could place my order. The employee spent 10 minutes taking an order and didn't even look back during that time to see if there were other customers. The taste of the food was good, but waiting 25 minutes for a simple wrap is really not worth it. This was the first and last time for me.

Delicious (and healthy) cigkoftem and super friendly service!

We used to come here a lot because it was tasty, healthy and good value for money. Since their holiday is over, they have increased the prices by 30%! A measly wrap costs €5 instead of €3.5. At the Albert Heijn nearby you can find more filling for your stomach for this price. With these prices they will not see us back, too bad! Response to their response: With a lot of immaturity claiming that I may not have been to the AH for years, you can get a full evening meal for €5 (see the lasagna for €4) or you can buy a full bread and topping for less than what you offer. I understand that things are getting more expensive. But for a wrap with some salad, tomato and pickle + köfte you should not charge more than €3.5. The ingredients you use are not even expensive. I wonder what you yourself honestly think of the price. Would you pay that much for something that does not even fill your stomach halfway? There is clearly more to learn than just charging responsible prices for your food.

I have been buying the köfte here for years and later also the falafel wrap. Delicious and vegan. However, due to the significant price increases, I no longer go there. I remember when a wrap cost €2.50, and at one point the price kept increasing by 50 cents. And now you pay €6 for that same wrap

Delicious Turkish street food! It’s totally vegetarian, tasty and spicy. I tried the wrap with chips crunches, I loved it! Pair it with ayran you won’t be sorry ☺️

Amazing place, super tasty food and high quality ingredients! Great service, very friendly staff. Excellent option for vegans, vegetarians and not only! I highly recommend this place, it's definitely my favourite, one of the best in Amsterdam.

Ordered at 5pm, food was ready and delivered quickly. I ordered a bowl and a wrap, it looked neat and nicely distributed with tomatoes, lettuce, etc. I and my family enjoyed it, definitely recommended!!

Unfortunately this was a real disappointment. The vegetable package was pitiful, 1 stalk of mint (dried out) and 1 stalk of parsley (weakened) iceberg lettuce was always half the amount. Now half of half. Everything has been reduced, even cigkofte was smaller and more greasy than before. And it took more than an hour to be delivered via Uber Eat instead of 20 minutes. I will not order here again

I would like to share my wonderful experience at Cigkoftem Mercator. As soon as you enter, you immediately feel welcome due to the warm and cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and takes good care of you. The food is fantastic! Everything tastes fresh and is prepared with care. cigköfte in a wrap is my favorite. They are wonderfully seasoned and full of flavor. What I also really appreciate is that Cigkoftem Mercator uses sustainable and quality ingredients. I was recently near Mercator and was hungry so I decided to try Cigkoftem for the first time. What a great choice! I went for the Turkish vegan minced meat and it was delicious. The flavor was rich and savory, seasoned just right and perfectly balanced. I also tried their içli köfte, a delicious Turkish snack filled with a tasty mix of bulgur and spices. Together with a refreshing ayran (a traditional Turkish yogurt drink) it was a really great combination.

Not to be repeated! NEVER AGAIN iclikofte 1/10 didn't taste like anything, no lemon added, the outside was just brick and the contents had no taste at all! No comment about your cigkofte 1/10 it couldn't be worse.

The cigkofta was good. However the falafel is dry and the kofta although it tastes good it is still very dry - warmed in the microwave.

I gave 2 stars because I was given only 2 small falafels in the wrap which had also come out of the microwave. I have no clue why a food venue would be using a microwave in this day and age, why were the falafels not cooked fresh?! Also only 2, I think 3 minimum is needed in a falafel wrap

Echt heerlijk eten! Snel, smaakvol, gezond. Ik vind de durum die al is klaargemaakt altijd het makkelijkst, bij het pakket vind ik het jammer dat je niet alle groente krijgt die je in een durum wel krijgt. Maar wat is dit lekker zeg! Ik zou het ook leuk vinden om een spaarsyteem te hebben, ik haal dit namelijk wekelijks en een leuke extra op zijn tijd maakt het helemaal compleet. Bijvoorbeeld na elke 10 eentje gratis. Dan kom ik nog vaker!

De bezorger vraagt om een recensie te schrijven dit vind ik echt onprofessioneel. Maar het eten was wel lekker

Lekkerste Ciğiköfte, snelle bezorging, heel klant vriendelijk en een echte aanrader;) en bedankt voor de falafel was superlekker!

Het is heerlijk. En wat ik fijn aan hun bezorging vind, is dat ze altijd mijn opmerking lezen. Ik schrijf meestal erbij dat ze bijvoorbeeld 18uur moeten bezorgen. En dan doen ze het ook daadwerkelijk. Goed service!

Willen jullie de menu’s aanpassen zodat ze duidelijker zijn voor nieuwe klanten! Er was iets verkeerds gegaan met mijn bestelling waardoor ik een ander gerecht kreeg. Kan gebeuren, maar ik kreeg de schuld van het verkeerd doorgeven van de bestelling. Ik als nieuwe klant ervaar dit als geen prettige service! Je kan er niet vanuit gaan dat nieuwe klanten weten wat het verschil is tussen jullie specialiteiten. Het is niet professioneel om een nieuwe klant de schuld hier van te geven.

Een enorm lekkere baked potato gegeten, ik kom heel erg snel terug! Zeer lieve service en het eten was net zo lekker!

Sluitingstijd 2200 ben 2130 daar zijn jullie gesloten 😡 nooit meer!! Voor herhaling nog een keer geweest. Over de kwaliteit is sws niet te betwisten. Tevens ook helder uitleg gekregen waarom ze eerder gingen sluiten. Daardoor verander ik mn sterretje naar 4😉

This small place near Mercatorplein has so good vegetarian food. The meniu is not big, but the food is super tasty with good prices. I ordered a takeaway falafel menu, fresh, tasty and also the staff was very friendly asked me to wait few minutes to have fresh made falafel. I highly recommend it if you like Turkish vegetarian food.

La tienda estaba cerca de un mercado y era fácil de encontrar, pero un poco difícil de encontrar. Probamos nuestro primer kofte vegano y estaba delicioso! El personal / los propietarios fueron amables y felices de ayudarnos a tomar decisiones sobre qué comprar y ¡nos dejaron tener algunos catadores de antemano! . Tenía un ambiente relajado y fue una experiencia agradable.
