Best Turkish pizza in the area!

Tasty food, nice staff, nice ambiance. However, expensive (9,50€ for a durum), and not worth the money (compared to similar places in the area).

Good food but I was overcharged. Happens a lot at these places if you're white and don't come in with I feel like, they'll sneak a couple euro's extra in and when you tell them they act like they had no idea. Walk 5 minutes and go to Steakhouse de Baarsjes instead. The fellas at steaky make better food and are way friendlier and never got overcharged there. Never going to simit paleis again.

The simit was very good, and so was the tea.

The products were great. I ate things I'd been craving for months.

All the baked goods are wonderful. We are so happy to have had such a breakfast after a long time. The owners are both very kind and hospitable. I can say that the tea was the best we've had in Europe. You can go there with peace of mind. Even if you don't have time to go, you should definitely make an effort.

This is a lovely place in Amsterdam where you can sample Turkish cuisine. I highly recommend it. You can go with complete peace of mind.

The food is good but the lady that works there ruins it. Fix your attitude and listen to the customer when they ask you to warm up the pastries.

Went there for a bite along the way on a Saturday morning. Had the Borek, fresh and tasty, and the Simit, which was also great. It's more than 'worth a stop'. It's 'worth a trip'.

The falafel is insanely good ! Everything is clean and perfect! Could eat here everyday!

The kebap meat was placed on the rotisserie grill with the plastic foil on top. It started melting and they just removed the melting foil leaving a lot of burnt black melted plastic on top started serving customers with this meat.

This place is by far the BEST Turkish place in Amsterdam, when you order a durum they bake the bread from fresh dough just right after you order (cant get any fresher) the meat seasoning is perfect, salads are well done, if you’re around the area you CANT miss eating here!

realized i was still thinking about this chicken and bell pepper pide so i thought it deserved a review :) perfectly seasoned and warmed up, would definitely get this again!

Very tasty dürüm. Unlike in Germany, it has significantly less sauce, but you can taste the meat much more. We'll definitely come back when we're on holiday in Amsterdam again.

It’s located on the corner of a very busy street. I was there around 6PM; but hardly had to wait. I guess Inwas lucky cause it filled up fast afterwards. I had the durum chicken. The thing I like is that they make the durum out of a ball of dough, so on the spot and fresh. The vegetables are nice and they don’t drown the thing in garlic sauce. It has a healthy vibe, however it is still hangover food.

Best Turkish pizza in Amsterdam so far! Even in a place where they make their own Turkish pizza, I didn't find them as tasty as here. Other products are also good-very good. Friendly man behind the counter (Mustafa RS6). He has magical hands, so it is definitely worth eating here!

The lady who works there really has no respect for the customers and looks at you angrily when you ask something. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Doner is good, Turkish pizza too. Kapsalon is often really good too. Everything is a bit pricey, but prices are rising everywhere.

I have frequented this place for years. Whenever I’m craving some Turkish delights, I get here. Foods are always amazing 🤤 😋 10 out of 10. My favorite is Turkish pizza with chicken or simit break, or roomboter/spinach break. Super yummy 😋

Had Durum chicken fillet, it was okay for €8. But also bought a large hair salon calf for €11.95... That didn't make any sense. €12 for that bowl with barely any veal? Handful of fries, the rest just green food. Really TOO bizarre prices here... very unfortunate.

NEVER GO HERE!! 1 Turkish pizza + a doner sandwich will cost you €15.95 here. The amounts are bizarre and there are no correct prices anywhere. So they screw you right in front of you. Have already reported it to the food and commodities authority as this is absolutely illegal. The people who work there are narcissistic and don't care about the customers. They are THIEVES and SCAMMERS!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Bought bread today and there was just cardboard/paper in the bread. This is unbelievable!!! I will never buy anything here again!!! I have experienced before that they accidentally add an "extra" product but this is unacceptable! Do not buy your bread here!

A bit sloppily packed, everything is only put in 1 bag. No hygiene at all (!) and it is called Simit Palace, but the Simits are as hard as stone, not normal and the price is abnormally expensive. 4 euros for a Turkish pizza.

if you like Turkish pizza, then this is one of the the best ones in Amsterdam. and also, they have here quite some of other nice pastries etc. prices are low, food is good.

By far the tastiest lahmacun and chicken doner in the area. Kapsalon chicken (big is really big) is my favorite, but the lahmacun with chicken is also really delicious. Prices are also clearly stated so I don't understand what other reviews are talking about

Got a Durum with Chicken and Cheese (Kip n Kaas). They baked the wrap from fresh dough in front of me, with the cheese, so it was nicely melted. Good portion of meat and veg. Good garlic sauché, but the spicy sauce wasn't spicy enough for me. Top quality, food was fresh and delicious. Service was good, lady gave me extra sauce when I asked. Had Ayran to wash it down with. Happy to recommend.

Döner sandwich was ok. The wait staff didn't seem to be having much fun and didn't look at you.

You gotta try the Durum doner with mixed meat, soooo good! They make the dough fresh. Also the durum isn’t soaked in sauce. It’s just overall a really nice experience.

They make excellent kebabs with salad.

Hygiene is disgusting (touching cash, digging in ears) and touching your food right after. Prices change all the time. It’s honestly quite expensive for what you get in return. Besides that, I ordered a pretty small order and a bunch of people that came after me got their order first. I’ve visited twice and it happened both times. Had to wait over 30m for a simple lunch I’d go to a different place

The döner sandwiches are delicious here. I think the veal döner is the tastiest. Adjust it to taste (with/without onion, tomatoes, lettuce or sauce). Tip: don't eat döner too often! You would think it would make you döner, but the opposite will happen sooner.

The food here is quite good and delicious, but the workers are not friendly.

You never know what you will have to pay! They play with the prizes every time! Yesterday I paid almost 14 euros for two things! Quality of food is good, but you are first screened and based on that they charge the amount they want! It's not nice! I won't be back!

Used to be a regular but I’m not going back. They charge a different price every time. Completely dishonest way of doing business. The cherry on the cake is the super rude lady working there, crazy that the owners let that happen.

Do not mention prices but charge more than €1 for a small piece of baklava that is also dry, no meat substitute in a vegetarian döner, very disappointing.

Visiting Amsterdam this week-end, we have discovered the place while passing by it with the tramway. Everything was amazing, we were pleasantly surprised. Lahmacun, doner, boreks (su boregi, spinach borek), baklava, cookies, all tasty - it really worths it as the food is not pricey and the service is excellent. Simit were all sold out, but we will definitely stop by again the next time we visit the city. Tekrardan teşekkürler !

Goede kapsalon gehaald, zelf vind ik dat de friet wat beter had mogen garen en dat er wat meer kaas op mag. Maar dat is mijn smaak. Update: 10-05-2023 weer geweest. Zijn zaak heeft een nieuw interieur gekregen en ziet er prachtig uit! Dit maal 2 Kapsalon en een broodje Doner (kalf) gehaal. Kapsalons zijn beter geworden en broodje Doner was ook erg lekker. Zeker een aanrader als je in de buurt bent!

Let op: Kapsalon kost ineens €10.45!!! Het is wel een hele lekkere kapsalon maar jammer alleen dat je ineens véél meer betaald… zonde

Leckere Speise und gute Auswahl. Dieses viel frequentierte Restaurant ist zurecht gut besucht. Die Auswahl an Süßspeisen ist fantastisch. Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis und nette Bedienungen runden den guten Gesamteindruck ab. Komme gerne wieder. Danke und weiter so.

The young teen with the glasses doesn't care and shows he doesn't. Also today I had a doner made by him and it tasted very off. I recommend get the older guys to make your sandwich.

Lahmacun was perfect. Heb zulke lekkere Lahmacuns weinig gegeten in Nederland. En het was ook vers. Haalde het net uit de oven. Döner was ook heerlijk. Vers gesneden. Vriendelijke mensen. En het heeft ook lekker gevuld. Het is zeker een aanradertje!

Good place to get doner, unfortunately, they dont accept any foreign credit cards though. But this seems to be typical for doner shops.
