The food was delicious; the fries and snacks were very good. The peanut sauce was also delicious. There was a friendly woman behind the counter. Unfortunately, she had to work alone.

Good, simple snack bar... reasonable prices... service girls are top-notch... quality is above average... just a bit too basic

First you have to wait 1.5 hours and then you find out that you have 2 small fries instead of 2 large ones, of course you paid a large amount, you feel cheated after waiting 1.5 hours for food that is ready in 5 minutes you expect at least some compensation, a shame but not worth repeating

Excellent quality, tasty mayo, but a medium fries and mayo for 4.60 is not expensive, but the portion is definitely too small. You get this as a normal portion at any snack bar.

Because there were new people behind the counter, I ordered fries again today after a long time. Unfortunately it was so salty that we had to give it back.

I would like to Order some food. Looked at the site. Opening hours Tuesday, open from 11:00 am. I arrive at 11:45. You will see an employee standing there, but the door is still locked and the sign is still set to Closed. Bad thing. It has deteriorated rapidly since new owners

Recently new owner. Had a hamburger sandwich for around 6 euros and was as basic as the plague, there was really nothing on it. Think 3.50 would have been a better price. I won't go there again, there are limits.

Fries here are one of the best in the city. This time they brought it to the table, unlike the times when they call you and you have to come and get it yourself. You only have to get up and walk to the counter to get a napkin. Unfortunately I haven't been able to discover a toilet yet. Prices are high. Almost as expensive as what you pay at an event nowadays.

I lived downtown for years with these guys within crawling distance. The nicest snack bar in Assen. Ronald and Nyo are always in good spirits. The brown fruit bowls are well spaced and the store is spotlessly clean. Also search (and book!) for Grill Sensation Assen. The name says it all!

We went to Assen by bus, the city was very messy and boring. But this snack bar made up for everything with their delicious fries, they also had the best milkshake I've ever had.

Come in for a consistently high-quality sample of fast food from the two always friendly, pleasant owners. Tastiest snack bar in Assen without a doubt!

Unfortunately not a good experience for me, throwing food at my reborn doll (expensive hobby) and laughing about it, I didn't order anything and left immediately.

A snack bar like no other. You won't find friendlier staff. We've been coming here for years. We now live some distance away, but when we go shopping in Assen this is our regular stop. Personally, I hope you continue for a long time. When you're in Ashes and you're hungry? Then look no further and get to know these great ones from City Snack.
