Even laten weten dat Julio Menotti de lekkerste pindasaus van Assen heeft. Ze geven mij, als ik daar om vraag, bakjes pindasaus mee die ik kan invriezen. Zodat ik er naast de dip in de patat en nasischijf, thuis ook smul van de pindasaus bij de nasi of bij de spruitjes. Superaardige mannen ook, echt leuk om er zo nu en dan even te zijn!

Just a good chip shop where you can still get an 'old-fashioned' cone of fries. A household name in Assen for years! Small terrace in the center of Assen and friendly staff and even during the #ttfestival no price increases or anything.

The place to be when it comes to perfectly cooked fries. It doesn't matter what time of day, during a quiet weekday or a very busy day/night such as King's Day or TT festival, the fries are fried golden yellow, crispy and not greasy. While many entrepreneurs go crazy during these types of busy days, for example, they choose to close for half an hour or an hour in between. Not to relax, but to refresh everything. Clean frying fat is the most important thing for properly fried fries, and that is what they are fried in here. And the other snacks and requested sauces are also of high quality. Don't mess around with quality that you often see at larger events. But it is also very good here outside the events. The food is fried responsibly here, so you can snack responsibly. The staff is also friendly, quick and spontaneous and they work very neatly.

As long as there are employees who believe that saving is better than selling quality, Menotti's reputation is not untouchable. I threw away the fries I got yesterday. After a few pieces of hard and twice-fried fries, I didn't want to bother reporting this to the staff. If I am sold something like that, I will not be taken seriously. Great tasty fries, opening hours may be a bit shorter but it will be worth the wait, especially the farmer's fries are very good, the price is quite normal and the employees are friendly, you may not always find it easy to sit there, in that respect it is more like a snack cart as in it is a stand without covered seating.

menotti 🤗. Been coming there for 25 years. The tastiest fries I've ever eaten. Normally I'm not much of a fries eater. But when I'm in Assen I have to have the Menotti cone Unfortunately, I don't often leave the house anymore due to illness. But today also to Assen in a wheelchair. Delicious fries at Menotti No other fries shop can compete with that 🥇 Staff always nice. I hope to eat a lot of red/yellow pub bags 🤗
