Ordered here for the first time since our usual place was closed. Friendly people and a cozy place. The food was ready exactly on time. It was well-packaged, so it arrived warm at home. Delicious food! The fries were tasty and not too salty. The snacks were also delicious and of good quality. Definitely coming back!

It was on Friday around 1:30. Disgusting place, really so dirty. Tables, chairs, floor. Really unbearable. Hamburger wholesale junk. And the egg ball filling was cheap, curry slop. No, and don't even mention the cold fries.

Coming from the "smack burger"experience in Gröningen,this is a masterpiece of a burger. I had a bacon burger menu and a coke. This burger laughs at all these "modern" burgers. And pepper is on the table. Authentic brown 70's interior 🥳. Don't ever change it.

Still my favorite snack bar. A bit more spacious, cleaner, and more luxurious. The staff is always friendly. Good portions, and... gluten-free options are available (fries, croquettes, and frikadel).

Unfortunately, both my partner and I got quite sick because we ordered a vegetable croquette, which turned out to be a meat croquette. We've both been vegetarian for a while, so it's no coincidence that we order veggie snacks. Very disappointing!

(Correction: this is a difference in the menu between the center and Marsdijk) The fries are limp and without salt. The frikadel XXL turns out to be just an XL. Why does it say XXL on the menu?!? You have to scrape the onions and sauce out of the bag with a spoon, otherwise you just have a normal frikadel. Furthermore, the snacks fall apart when you take them out of the bag. Not good

Very neat shop, delicious fries with date and mayonnaise, this was in a separate container but there was so much that it wasn't even finished after the plate was empty! Where do you find that these days? Delicious "round" cheese soufflé.... well here they are round... unfortunately no pictures.... was already finished before we knew it. But what do you expect when you eat at the best🏆 of the north.

Fast but limp, not cooked and unsalted. On the phone the man did not sound happy. We had 2 medium fries without and 1 large fries without and that was thrown in a big bag??? That is not what we ordered. A beef croquette was ordered and she got a goulash croquette…? Normally it is tasty but this was very disappointing. Milkshake was tasty tho!!

Order: 1 portion of fries with peanut sauce, egg ball with Joppie sauce, cheese soufflé. I got: •A container of mini fries -> looks like McDonald's fries (I personally find them less tasty than regular fries). •A good peanut sauce though. •A small egg ball (smaller than a normal egg ball), with a dominant curry flavor. •Joppie sauce (can't go wrong). •A small spiced cheese soufflé (I think also smaller than a normal cheese soufflé), of which the herbs really don't add anything extra. Why not let people choose whether they want a spiced or regular cheese soufflé? For many, Jongman is 'the' cafeteria of Assen. I don't feel it. When I come here I immediately know why this is not my cafeteria. Incidentally, it does not detract from the staff and the cleanliness of this place, because this is fine.

It's never a bad idea to have a delicious meal there or take snacks home with you. Cozy and at busy times the speed remains high. This company is one of the top in the Netherlands. A must.

Jongman in Assen has really good milkshakes. The Bounty shake is my favorite – creamy, just the right combination of chocolate and coconut. Highly recommended if you like that. The staff is friendly and you always get good help. The price of a large milkshake has increased from €3.90 to €4.75, but the taste more than makes up for it. I would love to come back here.

Can someone explain to me why a hamburger and a cheese soufflé from the vending machine are dried out and as tough as the sole of a shoe just after opening time? Leftovers from the day before? I won't try the 'homemade' egg ball then...

Nasibal deliciously spicy, eggball also very tasty. Too bad about the fries, normally they are fried until crispy, now they were lukewarm and limp. Unfortunately the peanut sauce was not warm either. We were so looking forward to it, it was a disappointment this time.

I ordered here yesterday evening at 10:30 PM, my order consisted of; “kapsalon shawarma” - cheese burger - snitzel menu with an extra snitzel. We paid €31 for burnt and tough cuts, the cheese on my cheeseburger was completely crispy and burnt, there was a thick slice of half a tomato and a thick slice of cucumber. The sandwich was soggy because of the sauce, my shawarma was super crispy and dried out as if it had been drying out for a long time... I think it would be a waste of money to only receive good fries, so that won't be the case again for us.

Good stuff, especially the in-house made egg ball and bamiball. The fries are very thin, which I personally don't really appreciate, but they do taste good.

I was here 2 weeks ago with my little sister. The food was fine... but apparently smoking is allowed inside at the back of the kitchen... I don't think that's normal. This store is not recommended.

Ordered it for almost €28 and it was just plain bad. Fries were crunchy, all small pieces, shawarma was so strongly seasoned, it was unusual. Salad was just thrown down a bit under the fries, super bad. Plate with remaining hard pieces of fries delivered to the counter and the employee was confronted about it. His response; that's just how it comes out of the bag. Indicated that fries should just be normal long pieces and not crunchy and all those waste pieces. To which the employee answers; Yes, sorry is no different. Just pointed out that this is a missed opportunity. Yes, it can be so, there is no different answer from the employee. No more Jongman snack bar on Groningenstraat for me. Also throw everything into the deep fryer to fry, including schnitzels that are so hard that they almost break your teeth. And this is also previous experience, but I still tried to give it another chance, but unfortunately this was really the last time for me.

If that happens, it will still arrive in containers, less than on a plate, I miss the raw vegetables that were included last time. Fries were half lukewarm, some of them were crackling!!!
