Too small for me. Still, a cool place if you have a decent amount of money, enjoy a drink, and it's not too crowded.

Good nightclub, resident in France a little shocked by the way of having fun in the Netherlands, people don't dance too much and seem soft, but hey it was still a very good evening we had a good time

Music was just a bit too loud. Super nice location, nice atmosphere and also with double space to dance. But with a slightly wider music spectrum from the speakers and the volume a bit softer it would be completely great!

They didn’t let our friends in because they were gay claiming that they let “all kinds of people” on Fridays but other days I guess they decide to be homophobic. It’s weird that they let 45 year old men who try to grope a group of female students in and not two gay men. The guys at the door were also extremely rude with us before our friends tried to enter the club. They kept pushing us around saying that they were busy but there was literally no one but us in the line. Will not be coming back

Music and dj’s are in sync, groovy, modern and millennial. Definitely will go back again. Nice place to hang out too!

A PAINFULLY AVERAGE TENT. On the advice of a young friend, I visited Maggys. The irritations already started at the entrance. Paying for the wardrobe is nothing crazy, but I think paying extra because I wanted to add my sweater to it is strange. Once inside, the first thing you noticed was the music. Certainly known, but a party? It wasn't. You might say, order a beer to ease the pain. Unfortunately, the price of a beer was almost equal to my monthly salary. To get rid of that slightly overpriced beer, I wanted to go to the toilet. To my great shock, I also had to pay for this. The amount wasn't huge, but it was certainly an afterthought on an evening that wasn't great. I would like to say that this is not the fault of the staff. The staff was friendly and polite, so this is clearly a problem with the owner who wants to charge the top price for a tent that doesn't even make it to the stands. It's a shame that such a beautiful location is being used like this.

We celebrated our 30th anniversary at Club Maggy and it was fantastic! The service is great, the manager, etc. thinks along with you and the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is also very nicely decorated. Highly recommended!

I was here on New Year's Eve. The staff was friendly (except the toilet woman) and I do not recognize the bad reviews about security. The toilet woman looked angry and did not communicate friendly. This spoils the atmosphere a bit. It also feels a bit like a scam that you have to pay for the toilet if you already pay to get in, just include those costs in the ticket. This may also prevent the toilet woman from becoming overstimulated. I thought the music was bad, the songs seemed almost the same, but that's personal preference. (Was too much of the genre: Boom boom slow hard bass with occasional unintelligible Spanish words) It is a beautiful space, but very busy.

The staffs are very friendly and it's a nice spot to go. Just the security team is very rude, but I think that's part of the job position, because 90% of time and everywhere, I see security guard being arrogant and rude to people. Apart of that, the place offers good music, the drinks are made fast and an excellent staff team and the toilets are clean (rare for a night club). Don't receive a five star as I said because the security team.

Maggy's is a club that discriminates on appearances. Black security guards are posted at the door to deny entry to boys with a “Moroccan and Turkish appearance”. Under the guise that the security guards are black and the place is not racist. It is clear that these security guards have been instructed to refuse anyone who is white, light-skinned, has brown eyes and black hair. Even if you happen to be Argentinian or Brazilian or Turkish. My son is half Spanish and half Ecuadorian, but because he looks like a Turkish boy he can't come in. The dark security guards do not tell the reason. Until they are discriminated against themselves, then they will sometimes cry that they are being discriminated against! What a racist ball joint it is! PLEASE NOTE DO NOT BUY A TICKET if you are a light-skinned young man or white with black hair and brown eyes. Because you've lost your money and they won't let you in. They end up stealing your money because you can't get in. Please don't do that!

shit, I've been coming to this club every week with my Dutch girlfriend for a whole year, and now they recognize us. This is also the club where I met my boyfriend, he is Somali so not Dutch, we wanted to go back there because we met each other there, but I was allowed in, but my foreign friend was not allowed in, dirty racists, I will never go there again.

people are so incredibly rude here, creepy men, waaay too overcrowded, got punched twice for just trying to pass through and expensive bathroom

Super discriminatory. On a free evening, entrance was only requested for a man with a black skin color and for no one else. When someone tried to interfere, they were both thrown out. I find this abnormal and terribly bad. Racism through and through.

We rented part of the club last Saturday for our theme party. Manager Ed Sterk helped us and provided input from start to finish. The boys behind the bar also participated fantastically. The beautiful location in one of the wharf cellars on the old canal to the tropically decorated room where we danced. Phones were blowing up from everyone who had had a fantastic evening. This is a party that everyone will still be talking about in a few years. So here's to Ed and your men for throwing such a great party!!!! Given this rating of the club, I expected a total disaster. The room is quite small, but there is dance music, not techno. We had a great time with our friends, although it was very crowded after 2 hours

Worthless place, you come there every week with your Dutch friends and are admitted without a doubt, then you come alone with your 'immigrant' brother and you are immediately refused. It is dramatic that this still happens in the Netherlands

My friends and I were excited to spend a night out in Utrecht where we came across this club. Entry was €5 which was completely fine, the cloak room was another €5 but was cash only, my friends and I had no cash on us so continued through to the main area to order drinks in our jackets. I had a light zip up on that i did not intend to even leave into the cloak room in the first place. I wanted to use the bathroom and was stopped from using it, even though as a paying customer who paid for entry you would think the bathroom would be accessible. But since this was also cash only me and my friends were unable to use the bathroom. A member of staff gave out to my friend due to her having a north face puffer jacket on and to me for having my jacket on. We explained to him we did not have cash to leave our jackets in the cloak room and made us spend the rest of our night in the smoking area, where you are not allowed to bring drinks out to. If you go here bring cash, and coins. I have never felt so restricted in my life in a place that you are supposed to be able to enjoy yourself in. So unnecessarily strict about stupid things such as jackets and being denied the basic human right of using a toilet in a place where alcohol is being served shows this business cares more about the profits made than the welfare of their customers. I couldnt recommend this place any less to someone and spending less than 45 minutes in the place was enough for it to put a dampner on our trip. Absolutely disgusted with the rudeness of the woman at the bathrooms and the man who had an issue with my jacket when no other member of staff stopped me on my way into the bar.

I liked the place, I didn't have any problem with the security (maybe because I was there at time, and I was sober, and quiet? Guys, learn how to party. Like normal, not like british tourists). The music was good, two room, two different DJ's, enough space, a lot of (good) people. I enjoyed.

I read all these bad reviews about the security and I'm amazed! The security guards were so sweet! We were sitting outside on the floor because our feet hurt and security came after us to say that the floor is not safe to sit on because of liquid things... let me put it this way... then when we left we asked they asked if we had had a nice evening! Unfortunately I had a not so great experience and they were very sorry that they had not received this and it really pushed me to come to them right away next time and that they were very sorry that that had happened to me and I was very pleased to hear that! What a crappy place, buy your ticket, those idiots no longer let people in, what a ridiculous mess... Then just don't sell tickets if you can't get rid of the people, first class scam... and then it's ridiculously difficult to send an email afterwards. to get your money back, first class mockery, understand that it is busy on King's Night, but if you run a tent like that you better just stop, stood in line for 1.5 hours for sauce, if your tent is too small you have to you can't sell too many tickets, it's not that difficult and don't come up with the excuse that you expect people to walk in and leave later, of course not, it's King's Night and this is the last tent where people come in if they want to. order tickets in advance, oh wait or not, even though you have tickets you will simply be sent back because they are no longer letting people in, how difficult can it be to predict a decent expectation in terms of volume you can sell and how much you can convert on a day when people enter once and then don't want to leave because everything is sold out or closed... too crazy for words... thanks for ruining a pleasant evening by these practices.

The guards are disrespectful and unfriendly, we were not allowed in for no apparent reason. There was no communication with them about why we were not allowed in. Arrogant and arrogant. Would definitely never come back here again!

I hated how the guards here treat people. They are rude and impossible to communicate with. Clear favorites that can do anything, and the rest feel uncomfortable while smoking. The club was not well organized and not nice music. Not recommended!

I absolutely find it unacceptable how people of a different color are treated in this place. I went with a buddy of mine and he was not allowed in just because he has a tan. They tell him that only regular customers are allowed in, even though this was the first time for both of us.

Not the best club in general but my biggest problem is the staff/management. Any serious Club should provide their guests with water when asked for it. (Especially when it’s that hot and crowded) They wouldn’t even let me get a cup to fill it up with tap water in the bathroom! They only offered tiny overpriced bottles which obviously no one would buy.

The location is quite nice, but the staff at the Geradrobe was very unfriendly. Our clothes were torn apart and we had to pay for everything individually. The drinks are very expensive and you have to pay 50 cents every time you go to the toilet. Also, there was no price list for the drinks, so the prices seemed arbitrary. Admission was free.

Super club, when we arrived it was a bit quiet, but the later it became fuller it became. Good service and plenty of choice of drinks. There is a cocktail bar open some evenings.

Together with the board of L.S.V. Cognatio Utrecht organized a party at Club Maggy. Everything was well organised, we had good contact with them, they thought along with us about possibilities and it was a very successful evening. Definitely worth repeating, because in addition to the good contacts, it is also a perfect and central location.

Well it starts at the entrance, security refuses all kinds of people who do no harm and still indicate that they just want to come and have a drink and enjoy the music. The security lets others without color or origin in under everyone's nose, but not us... horrible place and it was really recommended by various employees and regular customers... all shitty service. Do something about your hospitality, please give it a second chance

Last Saturday I celebrated my birthday here and I would like to thank Club Maggy very much for the hospitality and service! We had a legendary party at a top location and the staff is looking forward to it too! Good sound, party lighting, atmosphere, staff and location, so highly recommended!

Last weekend I celebrated my birthday at Club Maggy and had a great evening. I was able to rent a separate section and everything was perfectly organised. Nice and helpful staff, great location and everything went well with the coordination. Highly recommended!

Really can't say much negative about the club, was there 2 days in a row. Entry to the toilet was free, you either pay 50 cents once or €3.50 for the whole night. Vodka E was €9.50. If you're looking for a club in Utrecht where techno isn't playing all the time, I think you're in good hands here.

You pay 50 cents each time for the toilet. When I wanted to drink water in the toilet, the toilet lady became very aggressive and I was threatened with security. Because I wanted to drink tap water from the toilet. The people are also very weird, we were groped. 0 stars

Incredibly bad club. I handed in a bag at the cloakroom and was not believed. The girls behind the counter acted like I was crazy even though I wasn't given a receipt. Finally got my bag with a lot of effort. Very bad service!

Club Maggy is always super fun and very busy! The music is always good, I can dance with my friends. I also think the doormen are good, they pay close attention. Nice and female-friendly inside and nice people and creates a good vibe! I'm really into cocktails so the cocktail bar they have is right up my alley! By the way, I didn't expect it to be so big inside and that it had so many nice corners and several rooms. Totally fun!!!! 💃🏻🍹

Unfortunately I had to adjust my review from 5 stars to 2 stars. Although My first visit was great, I cannot say the same about my 2nd visit. First of all, entrance cost €10. The Instagram page said "free entrance until 00:30". This was also stated at the relevant event "Friends" on 07.04.2023. We had to pay €10/p.p. at the door. to settle. Weird, but no drama. The lady at the restroom accused me of theft because I asked if she had change and threatened to kick me out of the club. There was a jar of coins on the table that I couldn't get near with my hands. Furthermore, the atmosphere was grim, probably due to the crowds. Club Maggy has several "backstage" areas that, in my opinion, opened a little too late. Furthermore, the music was great. Hence two stars instead. 1 star. I think it's a shame, because my 1st visit certainly deserved the 5 star review. I hope to give my review a higher score if I come here again.

I had a birthday party here. It was super cozy and well cared for. There were tasty drinks and snacks. The staff was also very friendly. I would definitely celebrate my own birthday here too!

This really is the worst place in Utrecht. Unfriendly and bad staff, vague rules and a toilet attendant who is not quite right.

As a group of seven, we had received two tickets for the coats. By default we take photos of the tags on our jackets, in case we lose them. One jacket was from a slightly more expensive brand. When we wanted to leave the club, we obviously did not get the more expensive jacket back with us. Because: 'we had received three tickets and lost the third'. We never received the third ticket and had photo evidence of this. The ladies in the cloakroom were disrespectful, unfriendly and smart-alecky. Because we remained standing as a group, a guard eventually arrived. By persevering we eventually got the jacket. Someone in line also told us that this happens often here. In addition to all other negative reviews, definitely not recommended to go here. They try to screw you right in front of you.

Well, we wanted to go out with a group at Maggy's during New Year's Eve and the invitation and everything looked fine, but the service there was terrible. It starts with the coat hanging where we went in with our purchased tickets and learned that we had to pay 7 euros per coat in cash to hang (in times where cash is rare). This is not indicated anywhere and 7 euros per jacket is simply ridiculous. Due to a miscommunication, we ended up paying double because they did not tell us that those jackets had already been paid for by another member of the group. In short, those girls standing there probably just pocketed half of the money. We went further inside and I must say that it looked beautiful inside, beautifully decorated. It looks like the reviews are already full of bad experiences from the toilet attendants, so I won't waste any more words on that. The atmosphere for that evening was quite ruined, so it was a shame. For people who still want to go: there is nothing wrong with the beautiful decorations, but be prepared to open your wallet.

Don't go! Sketchy security and vague Moroccan young people loitering around who enter the smoking room from the other side and linger (security does nothing about this). All working together in cahoots! Don't come here on a night out with expensive stuff!

Club looks nice, but that's what it was. Weird rules. Men are not allowed to have a belt bag, halls were opened and closed during the evening, so you could not even stand normally without someone constantly at your back. Security is okay, but the gentlemen are generally dressed up!

Really not recommended. You have to wait a very long time everywhere. The staff is slow and terribly grumpy. I'll skip this place next time. There are plenty of nice places in Utrecht where you can go

You don't feel welcome at this club. This is mainly due to security, they give you an angry look in advance and speak to you angrily/aggressively. They did have nice cocktails in the club, which is why it got 2 stars.

I had a nice party at the club. Unfortunately my charger was lost there. I've been trying to reach them for a week. Emailed and called 9 times already but they cannot be reached. Really annoying. Update: they resolved it well with me, kept the charger and returned it.

I have no problem with the entrance and anything. We paid the ticket for the entrance which to be honest the music wasn’t that good. We didn’t need to pay for the toilet. However, inside was so hot and crowded! They better fix the AC and ventilation system inside.

Saddest experience in a while... buying a ticket online and still not getting access because known security guards are given priority. Like breeds like, as we say. Very unfortunate but not recommended and would look for happiness elsewhere... Crooks

Very nice employees, but bad management. You can only pay with cash for wardrobe and the bathroom. Bathroom costs €3 for the whole night. It would be better to just include this in the ticket, no one brings cash with them. Music kind of sucked; it was very repetitive. Everyone did their best but the night tanked.

The lady at the toilet cannot be called a lady. She pulled me brutally by the arm and threatened that she would throw me outside and beat me up because I didn't have any change for the toilet. When my friend said that she could communicate normally instead of making such strange threats, she got the full charge, where ugly words were not spared and her hair was pulled. Furthermore, the music inside was good and the building was nice near the canal, but it's a shame that they let such a person work there.

Absolute (pardon my swear words) kkr club, was refused for 0 reason, almost everyone is refused, ticket or not. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Let the rest of these reviews speak for themselves. I will never go here again and will only leave snot rays behind every time I pass by.

If you come from outside Utrecht, I wouldn't even try it. It's for "regulars". Security guards are quite unfriendly and things are quite dirty there.
