Very tasty food for very little money! Service was smooth and friendly. Definitely worth repeating

If you’re in Amsterdam and you’re looking for a place that streams your team’s game, this is the perfect place to watch pretty much ANY football match there is. They will even play the match in the closest TV to your table. They offer a variety of drinks and traditional sports bar dishes.

Went to watch the liverpool game, caused no drama or any scenes, got told they’re moving our table and we’ll either have to stand up or leave. Also didn’t tell any other table near us, it was only us, feels very motivated

Was there on a stag do, brilliant atmosphere watched the rugby and more than enough TVs to watch. Food was very good and beer was good

Best place to watch sport events (I go watching football) but besides that the food is awkward: being able to make bad fries in Amsterdam is really hard but they managed to do it

It was our turn for karaoke and they SKIPPED US A SECOND BEFORE IT WAS OUR TURN- they ruined our night. Next time be more insistent when you sign up for karaoke :(

Came here in January so it's very calm. Great value. Happy hour 5 euro for all cocktails and they are delicious. Espresso martini is rlly good

Great fun and great service - tuned the telly to the game I wanted to watch. Not that I was taking the place over as there were loads of televisions!

Go to bar for sports, personnel always helpful and pleasant

Be careful of the bouncers, they will do everything to get as much money as possible from you, but not give you the information, that is to say that if you want to go out, you need a stamp (which they don't say) and when you want to return, you will have to pay €5 again, even if it is just to remove your belongings inside. The bouncer also hates the French.

The burger was perfect, massive dribble selection, fast and friendly service, what’s not to love?!

Chill out for the happy hour deals during the week, but come early. From 5 to 9 it becomes increasingly expensive. Being served sometimes takes quite a long time, but it is nice to sit among the tourists. Tasty fries too.

My favorite bar in Amsterdam! He's awesome! Adorable staff, original decor, large tables outside, beautiful cocktail menu, delicious Bitterballen and Chicken Wings... You can stay for hours playing cards, watching sports, dancing or chatting with new people! A top bar! I recommend +++ 😊

Solid sports bar with your typical expectations. Staff is fantastic and attentive even when the place is packed. Came for NFL games on a Sunday night and it was a good turn out. They can put any game on a tv. Pro tip go to the 2nd floor for your own private living room with its own TV. Good bar food but not much in the way of healthy options.

This is the best sports bar in Amsterdam. I was there Saturday watching the England V Australia rugby match which unfortunately the Aussies beat us 😰 what an atmosphere and a great game. The crowd was a real mixture of nationalities just there to have great beers - food and lots of fun! If you want a fabulous night out this should be your first port of call while in Amsterdam. Highly recommended. Didn’t review the food because didn’t eat but some of the dishes coming out looked amazing too!

I have visited Coco's several times on the past and have always found the Staff and atmosphere to be exceptional. I would certainly recommend visiting here at least once during any visit.

My food was delivered after a long wait, and no one seemed responsible for it. They came and asked a few times about my order, but they had no idea what I had ordered.

If you’re chasing an authentic Australian experience, this ain’t it. You won’t find typical Aussie drinks, some of the menu is genuinely Aussie, like a parmi, fish n chips, kangaroo fillet but everything else is American. Not sure who did the artwork but doubt it was an Indigenous person and it comes across as though it’s taking the piss. If you’re wanting a good atmosphere then it’s a good pub for that but if you’re an Aussie missing home, this isn’t gonna satisfy you.

horrible people working there, we had a nightlife ticket reserved that included the place (and it is official, other places admitted us with no problems) and they just told us that they don't know anything about it. After insisting a lot they let us in, and we had the same problem with the deals at the bar. The prices were also very expensive and the place was just meh, go to somewhere else

As a real authentic Australian I was sorely disappointed by the lack of true blue aussie vibes. The tomato sauce was called ketchup!!! There was no bar service!!! No Aussie beers!!! Anyway it was alright i spose.

In principle you can compare this bar with an Irish pub. We had to wait a bit for service during our visit, BUT it was very, very busy - so absolutely understandable. We didn't eat anything

Great sports bar. Most NFL games on TV. The host changed channels to play the Green Bay Packers game and we clobbered the Tennessee Titans into submission!! Lousy food, but that's part of their slogan. Cold beer. Very Australian.

An aussie pub in the middle of Amsterdam, with a pretty good kangaroo steak and garlic bread. Plenty of sport as well which makes for a fun vibe.

I believe I'm not the target audience for the place, which is really more of a sports bar, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. The fish had a lot of spines and unfortunately was quite bland. The fries were very dry inside. The attendant, on the other hand, was very friendly.

Kind of hilarious that staff in a sports bar don’t know what F1 is, especially since a Dutchman is reigning world champ. Said the Monza quali would be on a small screen (thank you) but ended up showing the Moto F1 channel instead. Australian owner? Lift your game mate.

The food, I thought I’d play it safe and go with the Fish & Chips, definitely avoid if you want to spend a good 10 minutes fishing the bones out, chips completely tasteless, the wife had chicken tenders, make sure you have plenty sauce with these as these are quite dry. The drinks, I had a piña colada, possibly one of the nicest ones I’ve had whilst I’ve been here, wife had a Tequila Sunrise, if you like plenty of Tequila then go for it too strong almost undrinkable. Service was okay, friendly staff, even though it wasn’t busy, never been to a restaurant before and they just bring you a folk and expect you to eat without a knife. Atmosphere was okay again, decent music

Today we ate at Coco's Outback. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service and delicious food. And to top it all off, they had the Olympic basketball match on the big screen. Super! A great evening!

Spectacular place, we saw the Argentina/Colombia final.

Misogynists and resentful men exercising violence with visitors at the door, especially towards women. It seems that to be able to sit in this place and enjoy with friends you have to play some games with the guys at the door or speak in Dutch. The atmosphere in this place is very unpleasant, which encourages violence, racism and misogyny with its security policy that seems like it should not be completely legal because those big men who pushed me without any right to touch me seemed very tense and drugged.

During the Euros Final I was verbally abused by an misogynistic Englishman who had pushed in the queue at the bar. This happened right in front of one of the bar staff. The bar member (male, 30s, bald) saw this altercation and when I raised this with him he said that he ‘did not care’, even though the guy had started to get quite aggressive with me. I was quite shocked that the bar member did nothing to stop this man from abusing me, especially being a female. The rest of the service from the night was fine. It is a very laddie bar. I think the staff should do more to protect its female customers.

If you’re a true blue ozzie don’t even get close to this hole. Not a representation of an Australian pub and the fact that they put a kangaroo on their logo is a disgrace to the Australian name. Steer clear and stay true to your Aussie roots

A cool pub to watch sports. The working crew were also nice. However, apparently the pub is really horrible at vetting their security people. We went 3-4 hours early today to watch Euro 2024 final and got a small table for us to have a view of a big TV etc. One member of the party was going to join later in the middle of the game. However, when she arrived, the security did not let her in and told her there is no space, even as she told we have kept a space for her at our table. Eventually one of us went to explain that we have kept her space to the security gentlemen, instead the moment he mentioned it, without any discussions the security physically grabbed him and kicked him out of the pub area, out of nowhere! Living in Amsterdam and being a frequent visitor to this pub this treatment was a big shock to my friend and instead of calling the police officer passing nearby for being subjected to physical violence, all he did was calling me to not forget his backpack. The whole party had to leave mid-game to join the two friends who were stuck outside, which is obviously not ideal when you’re watching a final. Fortunately I recorded the faces of the two rude, violent and ready-to-get physical security gentlemen, which is in the attached 3-seconds video. Honestly if I was not a visitor in this country I would have followed up with police about this incident.

Coco’s Outback is a sports bar that is definitely worth visiting. Lots of displays, delicious beer and a relaxed atmosphere. The service is very fast even when it is full 👏🏼🍻

Not the place to go if your sport isn’t the most popular. We specifically asked the staff if we’d be able to watch F1 qualifying and were told no problem as long as we watched in the corner. With less than 10 minutes left they switched the tv to rugby which was playing on all other TVs. They should’ve just let us know they can’t guarantee we could watch and we would’ve found another place to view the race. With less than 10 minutes left we missed the results.

India won the T20 Cricket World Cup. 🏆 Electrifying atmosphere at Coco‘s. Only place in Amsterdam showing finals on 20 screens. Hard luck to my South African friends.

The worst experience I’ve had ever. I and my friend had visited their bar to enjoy the IND vs SA World Cup match that was being shown there. We were cooperating with everything that the staff asked us to do. But nevertheless, their conduct towards us and other visitors was very rude. Although I understand that the place was packed and they had many requests to cater to, still their behaviour was totally disrespectful (except one lady who was donning the Netherlands’ orange jersey, she was polite). We found it better to walk out rather than keep up with their attitude. I will never recommend this place ever. I sincerely hope and wish that they improve their conduct.

The food was rather greasy, we were there to watch the European Championship games, what was really good was the service. Really great. Less greasy would still be desirable. 🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭 Switzerland won 2-0 against Italy🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭

My otherwise average solo-traveling afternoon turned into a fantastic night of sports watching, eating, and drinking with the bar staff. Big shoutout to the boss Adrien, who ensured my already thin wallet didn't shrink further with his generous on-the-house treatment! The atmosphere was incredible, and the people were even better. I felt super welcomed in this place, thanks to the multi-national crew from all around the globe. I will definitely come back someday in the future!

I had the opportunity to watch the Champions League final and it was an amazing experience.

The food is delicious, but the waiters with short hair and short beard, was extremely rude with us, when we arrived, the restaurant was empty , we tried to order the starters and the main course. However, this waiter told that he couldn’t order all together, which is unbelievable. One friend for our table didn’t understand that he couldn’t order and asked about the main course and after we ate the starter, he said in a rude way and loud: “I told you before, you order together the food will come together”. In the main time my wife come to him to ask when bring the food, please bring one Pepsi max, with the food and this guy looked to her and told: when I bring the food you can order the Pepsi

not one australian beer on tap or in a stubby, had soccer on the tv and was looking at about $32 AUD for a parmi that didn’t even have ham on it. About as australian as the irish bar across the street. Just called it a bar and take the culturally insensitive aboriginal artwork off the walls. Bar staff were lovely and explained why they didn’t have Australian beers nothing negative to say about the service, they were honestly great, but surely a stubby of VB or even fosters (no one’s drinks it but if it’s a shipping issue i’m sure you could get that here).

Disappointing. I waited on the karaoke queue from the time they opened and was 5th in line; I knew who I was after, I checked in and then at 1 am I was bumped back two spots. They also make you wait 15+ minutes between songs. I asked the DJ why I got bumped back when I was supposed to be next and he was told my turn was in three songs. I was three songs 45 minutes ago, so I left. Obviously they just get you to spend more time and money there, if you want a real karaoke bar book Duke of Tokyo.

Nice and welcoming environment. The food is not excellent. The hamburger meat is very stringy.

We’ve arrived on a Thursday around midnight and we’re told the place is closed despite seeing a lot of people inside. The bodyguards told us to give them 100€ to enter. When asked if the other customers payed that they refused to reply. Completely unacceptable behaviour. Would never recommend.

Such a great evening, good music, good cocktails, we danced until 4am. The DJ was adorable and played a song that we asked him to play. Excellent atmosphere, we will come back!!

Terrible treatment while celebrating my husbands birthday! A shame we chose to bring our friends and family to this place - avoid at all costs if you’re not Dutch! Bday person was kicked out for no reason, along with his friend that tried to understand the situation. In the meantime, white Dutch men were leaving and returning with no stamp in their wrists.. we might have missed the preferred stereotype.. Shame on Cocos!
