Horrible service, they would not let us split the bill even though we have seen them split bills for the neighbouring tables.

El pub era justo lo que estábamos buscando después de una tarde en el teatro. Buena cerveza, pescado y patatas fritas, ensalada César y un montón de deportes jugando . . fútbol americano y "real", baloncesto, hockey sobre hielo! Personal amable; amplio interior.

Rude waiter (tall thin guy) who made extremely racist comments

The bar is very well located and the interior is warmly decorated. The atmosphere is pretty good except for the young waitress who thinks she's the Queen of England. We waited for a while on the terrace then I went in to ask if it was open, the girl replied "YES, BUT YOU PAY". Um, because in the theater it's free for example? She meant that you have to order yourself first, which is understandable if she spoke with a minimum of politeness. While we were eating on the terrace I saw 2 large groups come in and then leave without ordering, annoyed by his way of speaking. Maybe she's the owner's daughter and she's training herself to be obnoxious and bossy? But it's still too early for her.

Worst service by a waiter called Dani. A racist waiter who tells me ‘ if you dont like it here go somewhere else’ when i asked for a drink they dont have it in the menu. Very small menu with weird staff. AVOID

I visited the place while visiting Amsterdam for the first time. Place smells terrible, no toilet paper in bathrooms and no soap to wash hands, waiter was so rude.

It is a nice place, decoration and atmosphere are great ; but it is very crowded and noisy. I went out and drank my beer. Heating is good, in the centre of Rembrantplein.

Als een stel kleine kinderen het laatste biertje worden toe gezegd. Omdat ze zogenaamd hadden ingeschat dat we een biertjee teveel ophadden terwijl we nog maar net in Amsterdam waren. Personeel asociaal en onvriendelijk. Wij als vriendengroep komen hier niet weer.

A cozy spot with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for hanging out with friends. They offer a wide variety of beverages, and I tried one of their mocktails, which was delightful. The staff are well-mannered, and the service is excellent. Conveniently, there's a tram stop right across from the bar

The place is nice, the burger was delicious and they have a variety of beers, it is also a good place to stop by for a drink, they had the NFL on TV.

Massive english type pub on Rembrandt square in Amsterdam.Good for one drink

Great place to watch the sport with English commentary. Loads of TVs so can see no matter how busy it is. Lovely food, great service.

Nice pub, great decoration and atmosphere. The baguette we ordered was dry and hard. The shots were brought in plastic cups. Overall it was ok.

Server last night 10/31 was unpleasant, refusal to separate the bill, the only positive point was the setting and the shots were good.

Had my first date here with my wife on December 4, 2009. Under the guise of wanting to make some good memories here, we left again after being passed 6 times by different waiters who apparently didn't pay attention to us.

Very rude staff, no idea how to treat people. Unceremoniously turned away by security

Food is fab. Beer is cold and plentiful. But outside seats are too small for your hips. I'm a size 16 UK but wasn't able to fit in the chairs

Although extremely busy with all that traffic around you, you can enjoy a nice cool drink in the heart of Amsterdam. And you know what? Very affordable. Also lunch, which was top notch and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Really a great pub well worth a visit

Avoid this place like the plague. This is the only bar I have ever been to that attempted to scam me into a more expensive drink. My wife and I each ordered beers that total cost 10 euros. The waiter, right away, said okay that will be 19 euros. When we said, no we are ordering beers, he said, "oh it's too late, I put the ticket in, you have to pay now." We refused and asked to speak to the manager. The waiter disappeared and came back saying, okay we can fix it because it's not busy now. We said we still wanted to speak to the manager. The manager, presumably, came out and took our order, correctly this time. The waiter then came back and tried to explain he was acting the way he did because, "This place fires people for getting things wrong." Absolutely ridiculous experience all around. Unclear why they were trying to scam us but save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

Very expensive, drinks just so so. You have to pay 1€ to go to the toilet, that's why I give it 1 star. It's a very touristy place, there's much better walking a little further from Rembrandt platz

Nice terrace where you can sit and enjoy the nice weather, have a drink or eat and do some people watching. You can also sit inside (but we didn't do that this time!)

I asked the bartender for a pepsi max with ice, I was surprised by the way he just shoved his hand down a bucket to grab ice and put it into a glass. I thought this was unhygienic and not professional. Would advise the owner to look into food safety.

Waiter was very unfriendly and rude. I was there with a friend to order alcohol free drinks and the waiter asked for our ID. We asked why because we were not ordering any alcohol. Than he said that 0.0% alcohol means that there is still alcohol in it and that my friend looks like a little child so we need to show him our ID. My friend is 30....

Service: excellent; we were served promptly, empty glasses and bottles were removed, always someone around to ask for more drinks. Food: don’t bother. Really, don’t. Caprese salad served with Gouda instead of mozzarella, really? Sfeer: sports bar, so easy going. We were there on a Sunday afternoon, no special events but atmosphere was nice

We ordered mixed grill. After leaving restaurant, stomach pain started. And one of us throw up all food in his stomach. I think sth is wrong with the food.

Me encantó este pub! Acabábamos de llegar a Amsterdam y estábamos en necesidad de comer algo. Tropieza con este lugar que parecía animado y acogedor. Gran servicio y comida increíble! ¡Bebidas a un precio razonable también! Era justo lo que necesitábamos. Para el resto o nuestro viaje, nos aventuramos a volver aquí para tomar algo y disfrutamos sentados al aire libre bajo el sol viendo pasar el mundo. Personal amable que parecía ser muy trabajador! Great service and reasonably priced drinks. However, they charge customers to use the bathroom (€1 card or 50c cash) and don't serve tap water.

We stopped here for a bite to eat recently- service was very good - food was okay nice cheeseburger but too much bread and fries - it was very filling but way too much food.

Great place with a warm, cosy atmosphere. I did end up wearing a full pint of Guinness after a bar runner spilling it all over me. However, was given a free pint for the trouble. It is a bit of a sports pub, but their screens are a bit small to thoroughly enjoy any game but it should not be held against them. I am also still trying to get used to the Dutch tradition of making you pay to go for a pee which this pub does. You spend a lot with them which means you pee a lot as well.

worst bar in rembrandtplein, service is horrible, servers are rude, they talk to you like you're their dog, force you to spend money there as soon as you sit, don't let you split the bill and their food made me wanna puke. The person who recruited this staff must hate his job. I've been there multiple times hoping i will finally have a good time but i swear the atmosphere is so bad i always regret it instantly. i'd rather watch football games in the freezing rain than spend 5 minutes in this bar. save yourself a good night and don't go there :)

I’ve been here multiple times for the games and usually the atmosphere is cool. But the staff is rude and weird everytime. Our server rudely responded to use once we had two more friends join us, refused to split the bill and walked away when we asked a question about the drinks. Like he genuinely just ignored and left the conversation even thought the bar was not very busy . Save your self a trip and find a better bar. Don’t work in service if you do not want to talk to people.

Absolutely lovely spot! The patio on square is so enjoyable. Service is amazing - absolutely came back because she is such an incredibly fun person! Gave me life again when recovering from Night before 🤣 the food is delicious as well! My favorite spot during this trip so far!

Amsterdam’s prime sports bar! Super friendly staff, good value for money, and an excellent location right on Rembrandt Square. Lots of TV’s, option to reserve a table, and good vibes. Just beware that they charge €0.50 per toilet visit, even when you’re a paying customer.
