Great place to stop for drinks and people watching.

We sat here this afternoon, but unfortunately were very disappointed. The waiter was very unfriendly and completely unhelpful. When it started raining, he told us we couldn't use the parasol or the sunshade. When we asked if we could sit somewhere else, we were told to figure it out ourselves. Even when we asked for help, we received an irritated look. Very unprofessional and unfriendly to customers.

One of the bartenders was quite arrogant and not so friendly and was doing is job seemed to me like if it was an obligation. And no one came outside when we arrived. Had to go inside after 10 minutes. Besides that, the place is nice and has a nice space.

I have a diary allergy and they were able to accomodate me, the chicken burger was amazing and the seasoning on rhe chips waa incredible - would highly recommend!

Used to love coming here one of my favourite pubs, but wow was I treated terribly by a waiter named Rafa.. he was extremely rude he poured the wrong drink I asked him why are you treating me like this he said “management fired 3 people I don’t have time to be kind”….. what an unfortunate experience

You're expected to make a purchase—€7.70 per beer—and pay extra to use the restroom. Since I didn't have any cash on me, I was asked to pay for the restroom visit by card. A disappointing experience for the guest!

Yesterday we went there like 17.30/ 17.40. The guy behind seems very welcoming and nice. His colleague the waiter was bitter, seems like he did no like his job (was a dutch guy)or probably a bit racist anyways was not welcoming at all When we asked for the check he just brought the payment machine and not the check how it supposed to be... Also we said like 4 times thanks for the drinks and food and he don't even look ar us and say nothing no response.. 🥲🥲🥲

The toilet was half a kilometer underground. The food was tasty and the waiter was friendly.

Food was avarage, could have been more fresh. Service was very professional and good. People at the bar were super helpful. Place was okey for a bar and perfect place to hang out.

Great pub for sport with lots of screens, but the best part and why I will continue to return is the staff and in particular Hassan. Working the bar and terrace alone he is attentive, polite and professional and at the same time funny and engaging.

As if it’s the most normal thing in the world our 7 & 5 year old princesses sitting at the bar of the 3 Sisters and ordering apple juice, fries and Dutch chees soufflés and watching cartoons. While we were sitting outside at table 3 with our friends. Big shout out to the the staff for giving our daughters the 🇹🇭 welcome 🤗

We were sitting here on the terrace with a few colleagues for lunch... because we wanted to pay separately, we briefly discussed this with the Andre Hazes Jr. lookalike, and that was all fine with him, just order at the bar beforehand and pay immediately... perfectly fine in my opinion, although I think he was in a bit of a bad mood that day... otherwise, the food was served quickly, the drinks were great, and the handling was good too... the ambiance wasn't entirely my thing and Dre Jr.'s mood could be better, but otherwise it was perfectly fine...

I went there with my friend before one of the matches during the mundial. I reserved the table a day before the game, then I went to the pub and asked where our reservation is at. The waiter said that their website didn't catch the reservation, because the domain is not theirs, or something like that. I was pretty irritated, because I have never encountered a situation where reservation before was not respected.

It was not pleasent at all. The white wine arrived warm at a very hot day. And there was a lady waiting at the entrance of the toilets charging 1 euro before entering the toilets no matter if you are a customer or not.

Good spot to relax next to the trams and Rembrandtplein. Good food, nothing great but fair price and tasty. Good but limited selection of draught beer, show all the sports on multiple small and large TVs. Comfy seating.

Busy place but worth the stop, beautiful food and great drinks, offers a nice view of the square from the seating area which is heated in the colder weather! I always come here whenever visiting the city!

Fine for a pleasant time, but it took a very long time for them to come and take our order. I waved several times to get attention; the conversation was more important then, and they didn't come to our table afterwards. Otherwise, fine.

I wouldn't recommend ordering the fries; you'll be disappointed. The event was broadcast on multiple TVs during the day, creating a fantastic atmosphere. There was plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors.

The tall guy with a receding hairline is the rudest waiter we have ever encountered. Don’t go there.

I had the fish and chips menu😋😋😋. It was delicious. New owners, the manager, thijs and his crew have stepped up in a brilliant way.

Came here to watch the football during my 4 day stay in Amsterdam. Lovely atmosphere, very moody and amazing drinks. They have a large selection of drinks, i had the elderflower spritz which I would highly recommend. Good location, close to lots of places and the tram

Fantastic service and atmosphere for the World Cup, just need to upgrade the TVs! We had a really great time here in Amsterdam Centrum! We came as a group of six to watch a World Cup match. Honestly, we were so impressed that they actually let us reserve a table for six people—normally during huge events like the World Cup, pubs don't take reservations at all, so that was a massive plus and we really appreciated it. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was really good. The service was also top-notch; the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the night. The only downside was the TV screen near our table. The resolution was quite low and the match looked pretty blurry, which made it a bit hard to follow the game clearly. We asked the waitstaff if it could be fixed, but unfortunately, they couldn't do anything about it at the time. Apart from the screen quality, everything else was perfect. I really hope management can upgrade the TVs to high-resolution screens for those tables, because this place is an otherwise perfect spot to watch sports. Would definitely come back!

Great atmosphere for a date, service was amazing. Best bitterballen I've had in Amsterdam so would definitely recommend coming here to try them. Cocktails and shots were delicious as well

Awful welcome. Had a reservation that I made on their website AND sent to their email address to make sure it went through. When I got there, the manager told me in front of everyone that my reservation didn’t exist because I made it on a fake website. I asked for their real email address, since like I said I used both channels, and he told me to go check myself on their menu, which I did even if it was properly rude. Turns out it was the same email address… when I pointed it out, the guy didn’t even apologize, or try to fix the situation and find us a table. It’s not our fault someone made a fake website, and we’re still customers (who were wronged too in this whole situation). Truly despicable, if it wasn’t for the football nobody would come to his sleazy establishment anyway…

Dropped in quite late for food but was no problem. Had a Cheeseburger, it was fantastic! High quality burger, well cooked and super tasty. Service was good too. Plenty of seating and screens.

The location of the pub is great, but unfortunately the service completely ruined our experience. The waiter was very rude from the start. After we asked a simple question, he rolled his eyes and responded disrespectfully. Our table was never cleaned after the previous guests, and their empty glasses were left there while we were eating. Throughout the entire visit, there was also no basic politeness. Unfortunately, because of this, our experience was unpleasant and uncomfortable.

The bar is very expensive and in addition the toilet is 1€ extra. Even my girlfriend was forced to pay despite ordering drinks. Do NOT go to this bar if you want to enjoy a good drink in Amsterdam.

We spent hundreds of Euros and they denied us access to the toilets. Bad customer experience. Can’t recommend. Especially evil for the women in the group who drank here and weren’t allowed to use the bars toilet.

Very nice pub. It's a shame the service was so disappointing: when ordering, we pointed out that the table was dirty and the ashtray even more so…we made the same comments when the waiter brought our drinks…and again when he brought our two main courses! We expressed our disgust and completely lost faith in the cleanliness of our food. Yuck. 🤢 Difficult

No one came to us for 20 minutes, the waiters saw us and completely ignored us. In addition, their attitude was very rude, they didn’t even give us the menu.

Awful price/quality ratio. €14 for a very sorry looking club sandwich (cheap toasted white slices of bread with two tiny pieces of chicken and half a slice of tomato). We ordered food and drinks for two and were denied a glass of tapwater. Staff is fine, they cant help but having to follow such abysmal rules. Location is wonderful.

Horrible service, paid different amounts for the same drinks, paid for bathroom. Friend had her foot up that she SPRAINED, and bartender ripped chair out from under her elevated foot.

They charged my friend and I different prices for the same exact drink. I broke my ankle and had to elevate my foot and the bartender YANKED the chair away from me causing my ankle to drop to the ground and hurt it again without saying anything before. Do not go here.

A truly impressive English pub in the heart of Amsterdam: lots of dark wood, plenty of leather, a long, inviting bar, and decor that feels authentic throughout – almost as if it had been imported directly from Great Britain. Numerous televisions add to the classic sports bar atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service doesn't live up to the ambiance. We were initially ignored for quite some time and only informed after a while that we had to order at the bar – this could have been communicated much earlier and more politely. The outdoor seating area is located in a very busy square. Consequently, it's quite noisy, but at the same time, it has its own charm and invites you to relax and people-watch. We didn't try the food, but the drinks menu is exactly what you'd expect: typically Dutch, complemented by a solid selection of international spirits and cocktails. One absolute no-go, however: Chokomel should never be out of stock in an Amsterdam pub. Conclusion: Great atmosphere and authentic ambiance – but the service definitely needs improvement.

A short stop for some fotboll and food.

Went for lunch today, and when I wanted to order a specialty beer with a glass of tap water, the waiter said it wasn't possible; I absolutely had to order a whole bottle for 4.50. Ten minutes later, the lady next to me got a cup of coffee with a glass of tap water. Great service, guys 👍

On April 5th around 11:00 AM, I received truly ridiculously bad service. An employee who clearly appeared to be a supervisor (with a goatee and a light complexion) stood on his iPhone making calls the entire time, sitting a bit at the back of the store, while I was simply standing there waiting to be served. He completely ignored me and made no effort whatsoever to help or keep the conversation brief. The phone call seemed completely unrelated to work, as this man was speaking in a language I didn't understand and was on the phone for well over an hour, which made it even worse. When you work in a position like that, you are supposed to put customers first, not your private conversations. After I was served, the man was still on the phone; it was very unpleasant to sit there like that and see management just sitting there comfortably talking on the phone in the store as if he were a guest himself. This comes across as extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Truly unacceptable behavior for someone who is likely a manager. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

I didn’t get any food or drink sat down outside waiting for someone for half hour no one came it wasn’t even busy when I walked inside I asked if we order inside he told me that there is no outside service I said it would have been nice to know that the answer was look at the weather outside there is no one I said well we are outside not getting a proper response he said take it or leave it mate and just walked away

It's no longer called Three Sisters; it's now Chez Van Rijn. Had a lovely jazzy Sunday afternoon with tasty food in a nice ambiance. A nice place to go back to again.

A spectacular setting, classic and very beautiful architecture. They offer a variety of beers and different drinks.

We made a reservation to watch a football game, the staff were rude, the game wasn’t on anywhere. Eventually they put the game on, but other people had previously requested a different game, so it changed. Eventually we got a table at a bar and it was blocked by flags. Pointless booking unless you want an argument

A very atmospheric place. Pleasantly warm when it's cold and rainy outside. From the windows, you can watch the activity on Rembrandt Square. The staff is very friendly, the drinks are plentiful, and the prices are very reasonable for a place like this. Best regards to all the staff.

Decent bar, not awful prices either which is hard to come by in Amsterdam. I liked the leather chairs, gave it a cigar room vibe.

Came here a couple of times whilst in Amsterdam as it was warm, friendly and the drinks menu was really good for cocktails. The layout and seating was very good and reminded us of being back in London.

Looked like a cool pub when walked in. Sat There for 10 minutes waiting for a drink at the bar. Saw the girl behind the bar chatting and helping her end sitting at the bar. Walked by us twice and made no eye contact. Seems to be common this is happening. I wish their business to fail with such horrible service!

Wanted to watch sports and grab a bite, there was a football game from a day ago on 90% of the screens, only one of the tvs broadcasted live sports. The music was way too loud for a restaurant/bar like this. Wasn't possible to have a conversation without raising our voices significantly. Would be fine for a classic sports bar, but it seemed more of a restaurant. The food was really bad. Frozen food thrown into a deep fryer for a moment.

called ahead to ask if they were playing a bundesliga match. double checked at the bar when we came in. yes both times. order beer and food, and THEN they tell us that they can’t put the match on because all the satellites were in use. ended up watching the last 5 minutes on a screen. really shitty and manipulative, the type of behavior that gives amsterdam’s city center its bad rep. if you come here wanting to watch a game, don’t order anything until after they put on the match. boo 3 sisters

Beautiful pub on Rembrandplein. The interior is English-style and very warm. Great selection of draft beers and Strongbow cider. They also serve food that I haven't tried yet, except for the bitterballen, which are very good. I'll be back to try their English breakfast 👍.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and I'm sorry I wasn't happy. I had higher expectations. I'm not saying it's a bad place; in fact, it's a very nice place to grab a beer with friends. The sofa is very uncomfortable for eating, but it's great for relaxing and comfortable drinks.

Always a good crowd here. Even in the winter, people are seated outside on the terrace.

This bar has potential, but several aspects of the experience were disappointing. The staff struggled to understand even basic English, which made simple interactions unnecessarily difficult. In addition, the seating layout works against comfortable conversation—the two-person sofas are placed so far apart that talking across the gap feels awkward. The atmosphere itself is fine, but the combination of communication issues and impractical seating made the visit less enjoyable than expected.
