Worst service ever the place nice but the tall guy waiter don't know his name was so roud in the both time we visited the restaurant I'm not going back there again

Delicious food, like the Dutch croquette, cozy atmosphere, excellent location.

A very quaint pub with a warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Service is a bit slow.

The TV was on after we turned it on. We weren't served either. A bit ridiculous.

Came here a couple of times whilst in Amsterdam as it was warm, friendly and the drinks menu was really good for cocktails. The layout and seating was very good and reminded us of being back in London.

Looked like a cool pub when walked in. Sat There for 10 minutes waiting for a drink at the bar. Saw the girl behind the bar chatting and helping her end sitting at the bar. Walked by us twice and made no eye contact. Seems to be common this is happening. I wish their business to fail with such horrible service!

They promised us they would put up a match but then made up excuses after we ordered food and drinks. Very weird and rude! If you go here to watch a game, do not order anything until they have put on the match for you.

called ahead to ask if they were playing a bundesliga match. double checked at the bar when we came in. yes both times. order beer and food, and THEN they tell us that they can’t put the match on because all the satellites were in use. ended up watching the last 5 minutes on a screen. really shitty and manipulative, the type of behavior that gives amsterdam’s city center its bad rep. if you come here wanting to watch a game, don’t order anything until after they put on the match. boo 3 sisters

Wanted to watch sports and grab a bite, there was a football game from a day ago on 90% of the screens, only one of the tvs broadcasted live sports. The music was way too loud for a restaurant/bar like this. Wasn't possible to have a conversation without raising our voices significantly. Would be fine for a classic sports bar, but it seemed more of a restaurant. The food was really bad. Frozen food thrown into a deep fryer for a moment.

Very busy but enjoyed the burger. Beer was good too.

All three servers were extremely grumpy and not helpfull at all. I would definitely go to a different place next time

Beautiful pub on Rembrandplein. The interior is English-style and very warm. Great selection of draft beers and Strongbow cider. They also serve food that I haven't tried yet, except for the bitterballen, which are very good. I'll be back to try their English breakfast 👍.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and I'm sorry I wasn't happy. I had higher expectations. I'm not saying it's a bad place; in fact, it's a very nice place to grab a beer with friends. The sofa is very uncomfortable for eating, but it's great for relaxing and comfortable drinks.

Serving staff were extremely rude!! They lied about ingredients of food being ordered and it was awful!! Definitely would not recommend!!

Always a good crowd here. Even in the winter, people are seated outside on the terrace.

This bar has potential, but several aspects of the experience were disappointing. The staff struggled to understand even basic English, which made simple interactions unnecessarily difficult. In addition, the seating layout works against comfortable conversation—the two-person sofas are placed so far apart that talking across the gap feels awkward. The atmosphere itself is fine, but the combination of communication issues and impractical seating made the visit less enjoyable than expected.

Came to watch F1 race, I called two days in advance to reserve a table, the guy told me to do it online which I did right away, when we came to the bar the guy told me no it’s not in the system so we are left without a place to watch a game. Why do you have a reservation system if it’s not working??? Why don’t you write that you are full if that is the case? Don’t reserve a table there, their reservation system is a scam

Had tasty dinner, they have an awesome selection of ciders. The location is amazing

Staff are very unsociable, spent the whole time behind the bar on their phone, sat for 20 minutes waiting for them to take our order (pub was hardly busy) When the food came my panini had 1 slice of chicken in each half that covered 1/4 of the bit of bread, the tortilla chips it came with were stale My partner had the full English breakfast and the beans were stone cold Overall not impressed

Great pub, very spacious, clean bathroom.

Ordered onion soup, fish&chips. They got it out quite quickly. Taste was mostly mid, the chips were exquisite though. Mainly because the whole sports bar thing is not really my thing I couldn't appreciate the ambience.

The waiter was extremely negative. I was on the phone for work, he refused to serve me, and started telling me how to talk on the phone, saying I should hold the phone to my ear, even though that wasn't necessary. It took about 20-30 minutes for the waiter to come to the table. This is incredibly bad service. I've been living here for years and I've never experienced such a bad attitude anywhere else. I'll be giving everyone a bad review, or rather, a bunch of trash. It's terrible. I'll never come here again, and if anyone asks, I'll tell them what happened. These days, you have to understand who you're hiring.

Very expensive with not so good quality food. Nice place in a central square!

The Bundesliga stream was quite blurry and laggy. We missed many important parts of the match. But the atmosphere is quite nice

They don't serve tap water for sick people

The food is good, but I disagree with the idea that this pub has the best burgers. The bun is a bit too seasoned. The fries are really good, with paprika powder. All in all, a nice pub. I recommend coming Thursday evening, because Fridays and weekends are very busy.

We had a great time, the service was pretty quick and the food was good. The pub atmosphere was perfect. The only downside was the waiter, who wasn't very friendly, but was efficient nonetheless! We highly recommend it if you like pubs.

Mildly disappointed with the service here, staff were rude. Someone broke a glass i stepped in to help clean it up and was asked to move the glass around from the floor to the table back to the floor and then to their hands, so i was handeling broken glass serveral times, I was so confused and they blamed me for the breakage but it was already explained it wasn't me.

Unless you really want to watch the sport, I wouldn't bother. Building is great, service is not. Beer is fine.

Great stop for a drink & bite to eat! Went here twice and great fun both times. Nicely decorated inside, lots of televisions, very comfortable seating, clean bathrooms!

Ordered a blt from this restaurant . Bacon was badly burnt. Dispite this I was told I have to pay for sandwich and that’s how the Dutch like there bacon lol.

Great place to grab a beer or two and some food while in the heart of Amsterdam at Rembrandt Square. The staff are friendly and the food is good. The Heineken on tap is fresh and cold.

Came to watch WCW, lots of TVs large and small. Several couch and high top section to be able to see multiple games at once. Surprised that it wasn't busier but outside things started to pick up late in the night. Taxis drop at the bridge before going into Rembrandt square

Terrible service and terrible food. The chicken and cheese on our tortilla chips was warm and cold in various spots and the chicken schnitzel I had ordered was as thin as an A4 piece of paper, more crumb than chicken. To top it off, service was incredibly slow for a not very busy crowd. Do not go here!

Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly good. You had to go to the counter to order and weren't served at your table. The only positive aspect is the wide range of sports on offer.

Four bartenders behind the bar but no one actually wants to serve a customer until the supervisor came, and when they finally took the order it looks (and tastes) like they can’t even pour a pint properly, when questioned their response was “this is how we drink Guinness in The Netherlands” which is absolutely not the case 😂 Save your money and time, and go check out the hundreds of other bars & pubs in Amsterdam and across The Netherlands that can actually pour a pint and seem like they actually want to! (Also came here for breakfast on our first morning which was an average portion and at least edible but not worth the money, I mean I hope you can’t go wrong with eggs…)

Visité este lugar todos los días durante un fin de semana largo. ¡La ubicación es excelente en la plaza Rembrandt! Hay muchos lugares para comer y beber en la plaza, pero este fue nuestro favorito. Nunca comimos aquí, ya que habíamos reservado todos los restaurantes con antelación, pero toda la comida que nos trajeron a las mesas cercanas tenía muy buena pinta.

Best sports bar ..great ambience

Alex the “manager” is one of the rudest servers I’ve ever seen in my many years of going to bars. Great place but Alex was extremely rude to us from the moment we sat down. Would recommend visiting when he is not working.

I’d put zero stars if I could. Poor service, the bartenders and the waiter was very very rude. Would avoid that place at any cost.

La parrilla mixta no tenía cordero, bistec o huevo, solo costillas, dos hamburguesas, salchicha y pincho de pollo mal cocido. Amstel y la cerveza Heineken estuvieron dos noches en el trote, ¡no malgastes tu dinero!

We had to pick a place to watch a football game and we're glad we picked this place, I liked the vibe of it.

Cosy pub with nice Irish beer. Service was not in the mood today. No service outside or inside and I had to get my own drink.

They said they specialized in burgers and ribs, so I ordered ribs. They were ok at best.

Really good pub. Tonnes of TVs with loads of sports channels. Staff super nice and helpful. Olde Worlde charm - Wood panels brass etc. Decent outside area when weather good.

One our favourite spots while we stayed here. We had drinks and a quick bite as well as dinner one night. Food both times was tasty and staff were very friendly.

Customer service was really poor and indifferent. I asked the bartender if they had Prosecco, and he said yes. I then said I’d have an Aperol Spritz. He started making it but was about to put lemon in it, even though it’s supposed to have orange. I pointed that out, and only then he told me they actually didn’t have any. So I said I’d just have a Prosecco instead. The bartender sighed and rolled his eyes. When I opened the piccolo bottle, I noticed it had no bubbles at all. I told the waiter about it, and he immediately said he’d replace it. He took the bottle and the glass with him — and then nothing happened. After waiting at least 20 minutes, I asked the waiter where my drink was, and he said, “Oh, it’s not supposed to have bubbles.” What? I asked where the drink I paid for was, and he just brought back my old glass. Seriously?? The drink wasn’t right, and then they had the nerve to bring back the old one that had already warmed up and obviously lost all the bubbles. Really rude service, disrespectful behavior, and a complete lack of regard for the customer.If I could, I wouldn’t give even a single star — but one is the minimum required.

Top address on Rembrandtplein. Good service, moderate prices for Amsterdam and real Amsterdammers in the service. It's a good place to stop off and if you ask nicely, you'll get good tips on how to avoid tourist traps. Anyone who comes in the evening and sits inside has real pub flair. We were there last Saturday evening. The beer was good and the prices were absolutely right for Amsterdam. Unfortunately, the service was not optimally organized for our taste. There were two waiters in charge: one was solely responsible for orders and payments, the other was only responsible for serving drinks and clearing away. When we tried to order from the wrong person, we were politely informed that he doesn't take orders. After asking again, the waiter in charge came. However, this division resulted in longer waiting times and we had the feeling that we were also losing sales because we would have liked to order more. The delivery of the drinks also took a little longer, and direct communication between the employees would certainly have ensured a smoother process. The bar itself is very nice and cozy, but I would like the service process to be improved. Then the visit could be even more pleasant.

Very nice, but then “Dario” became difficult. When the kindness and hospitality was distributed, you would say that “Dario” was in line the other day, but “Dario” had overslept and was therefore not in line at all.

Arrogant personeel, dramatische service, met name Dario. Het is dat het een Amsterdams café is, anders had deze al lang failliet geweest.

Good fish and chips and hamburger on a sunny terrace. Everything freshly prepared Paid €45 for food, Duvel and a large bottle of water.
