I had a really enjoyable experience at Sportsbar Leidseplein. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax, have a drink, and enjoy some good food. Whether you’re visiting with friends or just looking for a casual place to spend an evening, the atmosphere here is very welcoming. The beer was really good and paired perfectly with the food. However, the highlight for me was definitely the all-you-can-eat ribs buffet. The ribs were delicious, flavorful, and very satisfying. For anyone who enjoys ribs, I would definitely recommend trying the buffet — it was one of the best parts of my visit. The service was also excellent. The staff were friendly, approachable, and served everything quickly. Even though the restaurant was lively, the service remained efficient and we didn’t have to wait long for our food or drinks. What surprised me the most was the price. The value for money is excellent. In fact, I would say the prices are not just reasonable but actually quite cheap considering the quality of the food, drinks, service, and overall experience. Overall, Sportsbar Leidseplein is a great place to enjoy good food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere without spending too much. The combination of tasty ribs, good beer, friendly service, and very reasonable prices makes this a place I would happily visit again. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

We arrived early on a weekday, so there weren't many people yet. The waiter forgot to take our order and served the wrong dish to the wrong table – awful! Despite this, the food was still delicious.

Their speciality is "all you can eat ribs" which I ordered, they were awesome, I received 3 sheets/racks of ribs which was all I needed to pig out.🤣

Ordered drinks and stuff but they wouldn’t accept to give you a glass of tap water so you have to buy a bottle. Unacceptable.

One of the best places to eat! We have been coming to Satellite Sportscafe for around 10 years, and we absolutely love it. The unlimited ribs are simply the best — delicious, tender and served until you are completely full! You can eat as much as you want, and the quality is always excellent. The atmosphere is great, the food is amazing, and every visit feels like coming back to a place we already know and love. After so many years, we still can’t wait to return! Highly recommended! We will definitely be back soon! 🍖🔥

Last day we had an amazing experience, but there was some issues in the beginning. The girl fatim really worked hard but the management should at least send someone to help her. But i was really surprised how did she manage everything. Meanwhile she also made sure going in each table and entertain them

The worst cafe in the Netherlands. The coffee gave me a stomach ache and the staff was terrible. I would never recommend anyone drink anything from them.

The beer wasn't good; as a Guinness lover, I couldn't even finish it. The ribs were tasty, but with each subsequent round, the portions got smaller and had a lot more fat.

I was recommended by another diner to try this place. For Amsterdam, it seemed a very reasonable deal. There is a burger king opposite that would cost nearly as much and not get the same standard of food. We went for the ribs, served with a baked potato. The initial tray contained 3 (what I would call) half racks of ribs. The subsequent orders were single racks. After my friend's second and my 3rd order, we had our fill. It's dining after all and not a competition. If it was, the restaurant would have won, as there was not hesitation in bringing more food. 1 slight observation I could make, they only provided 1 jacket potato. If it had been on the same 'all you can eat' offer, they would make more money due to less ribs being ate and a tad more customer satisfaction.

It’s a great place to watch football. They have lots of TV screens, and you can choose which team you want to watch. The waiter was very friendly, and the food was really good too!

A true sportsbar experience. The unlimited Spareribs were great, but were also lukewarm when they arrived, the baked potatoe should've been baked a bit longer, but was tolerable. The highlight for sure was the small fight that broke out just after we finished eating. Fries were thrown and sauce was splattered. Couldn't understand a word of what happened but very entertaining nonetheless. The music was extremely loud, but other than that the staff was super nice and quick

Even thought we made a reservation well in advance we were placed at a cramped bar. The staff was pretty unfriendly. For a sports bar looks like they use TV technology from late 90s and with what looks like some poor it tv stream. Additionally is this horrible ear piercing sound each time the upstairs kitchen has an order ready which did not help. Avoid!

The unlimited ribs were very well cooked and the service was good, especially Fatima and Anthony. The only thing that I would do is turn the music a bit lower, as we were having a hard time having a conversation

Try the €21.90 pork ribs! But after finishing one serving, I decided against ordering more. Remember to order a drink! The pork ribs are so tender they almost melt in your mouth. By the third piece, they were quite greasy. But overall, it was a satisfying and delicious meal. Most of the customers ordering at the counter ordered these pork ribs. I recommend trying it!

The food was excellent, no complaints there; the ribs were delicious. However, there was very little space on the terrace. Furthermore, the service was appalling; they made us pay the bill while we were eating, which was unacceptable.

The unlimited ribs were excellent; the meat was tender and fell off the bone effortlessly. It came with fries, and you could choose other sides, including garlic sauce. It was very tasty, and the waiters were very friendly and attentive. The music was great and perfectly suited to the meal.

I was there on July 15, we made a reservation for 7 people to watch the football game. Unfortunately, 4 of the people (including me and my bf) couldn't make it on time, but 3 of them could. Nevertheless, the manager Alex were TOO insistent on take off the table because the other part of the group wasn't present. Minutes later, i arrived with my boyfriend (at that time we were 5 people), despite that, Alex came again to bother us telling that she was going to take off the table because the group wasn't complete. I explain to her that the rest of the group were arriving and she showed not to care, even though we had already ordered beers, not like we were there by ordering nothing while we was waiting for the rest. Her attitude was HORRIBLE, challenging and at the end, she moved the other table and put 2 seats, the funniest part is that the "new table" was empty for like 25 minutes, no one sit there, she only wanted to bother us. The workmates (the waiters who served us that night) were so ashamed of her attitude ... that they apologize for her. THE ONLY REASON I PUT 1 STAR IS BECAUSE OF THE WAITERS, THEY WERE SO NICE. But respectfully, if the bar wants to offer a good experience to the costumer, a person like the manager Alex, shouldn't be there. SO BAD EXPERIENCE.

Quick service, good waiter, good food

The service was the worst I've ever experienced. The waiters (we only interacted with three of them, and there were four) simply chose to treat you badly, dismissively, and with a clear lack of enthusiasm. The food was okay. I left the restaurant in a bad mood.

We went in the morning to make a reservation they told me no need to make a reservation and they will be opening the second floor and all is good however when we came in the evening they told us it is reservation only, we told them that we came in the morning to reserve they told us no need to reserve and the guy evening time told us otherwise they have wasted our time just because they are not organized be aware
