For long time i hesitated to write this comment or not. As a business owner, I decided to share my experience to the owners to see what goes on there. First of all we were there with the Hungary vs Netherland match. As we were not allowed to buy the ticket to the match we decided to go there as some of our friend said that it was prepared there. So we went there an hour in advance to see the match. What just happened, before the march it was a rugby match overthere, the blond (spanish speaker guy) waiter boy were asked at least 5 times to change the program to the football match. We could see it only after the first kick appeared. The sound was a disaster, it was above 100db and were requested to low it down. Not to mention the sound what they put were in dutch and was not even about the football. After 10 minutes they changed it. It was still in dutch, not to mention during the match the old captain had a heartattack and we were so shocked whats happening. We said to the guy to please low it down or do something cuz we wanted to talk and so… the shorter curly haired boy were there too, he acted very rude to us. As I mentioned we were just hungarians there, we had to overscream the speakers to hear each other and listen the super loud dutch commentators. As it finished the match, a dj came and started to play… overall this was the worst option what i could imagine. Definitely requested to do some action, I hate to make this kind of comments but it was a real disaster, and disrespectful behaviour from the staff there.

Great place to capture a good pint or two and watch a game on the many TV screens . Good size inside and out. Friendly staff on hand .didn't get chance to taste the food but looked appeasing to the eye.

Avoid this sports pub. Bad service, like they didn’t want to serve you. Expensive drinks, got my order wrong as well. TV screen kept going off took an age to put it back on. Don’t know why I wasted my time and money on this pub. 2 stars because I managed to watch some of the game and had good/ish music.

I ordered the unlimited ribs, which I highly recommend. The service attitude is very good and the food is served quickly. The ribs are relatively greasy after being cold, so it is recommended to eat them first before eating salad and potatoes.

Nice place to watch the matches of many championships but they show only one for each championship, in case there are two matches at the same time and you are rooting for the worst match (according to them), you will see it with cabbage

Wanted to stop in for a few cocktails. After the service was initially quick, after the first round we were no longer noticed and the service ignored us completely. Too bad.

Very sporty with at least 20 screens to watch sporting events. Due to the mayor of Amsterdam who banned cheering for Lazio, we watched the match here, practically as if we were in the corner. Completely full of Italians. The guy responsible for the first floor is great, he is also Italian

Had unlimited ribs at about 22 euro, Its a MUST to buy a drink for the unlimited ribs, beware. Was told unable to accept credit card but saw other locals paid by card whereas tourist told to pay CASH, Be Aware. Ribs were tender.

Very nice ribs and we come back each year with the colleague to have a nice evening. All you can eat of ribs and river of beer and the party can start.

We ordered 3 portions of ribs and 2 portions of salad. Add 1 fresh pitch beer. Great food. The restaurant is very crowded but the food comes out quickly. Staff asked about food and refilled beer regularly. When I left, I forgot my wallet and documents. The staff and manager helped me preserve my items and returned them to me in full. He also told me to be careful next time. Thank you so much!

Our plan was to watch the football game Netherlands-Hungary. Kick-off was at 20.45. We asked 3 waiters to switch the tv-channel to the game instead of GER-BIH and SVK-SWE. The game started and we left the "sport pub"

Delicious grilled ribs, enthusiastic and fast service

Went there to watch football, and saw that they have unlimited ribs on the menu for such a reasonable price, made my experience epiccc.. kinda ate a lot lol! The guy with long hair I think or maybe long beard at top floor was really nice, really good service. Respect.

Terrible attention from the waiters. The woman at the bar responded rudely when I wanted to find out if the ribs were really unlimited, since she only handles drinks. Then we had to call the dyed guy waiter twice to order more ribs, and he didn't even come to the table, but instead asked us what we wanted from a distance. He also told me in a really bad and rude way that if I wanted “chips” I should go buy from another business (chips and fries are usually the same thing in English). He then made jokes about it with the customer at the next table. Then he came to continue insisting on the topic at the table. If you are looking for decent service, go to any other restaurant.

Visited on a Saturday evening at 9:30pm with a family of 6 to have drinks and watch the football. When we walked in asked to go upstairs if drinking only. We moved upstairs and found a table about to order drinks and asked to move again to an area with no football on. Couldn’t believe we’re being asked to move again so instead we left and spent over €200 in another bar and the following day (today as I write this) we will go to the bar we went in again. It’s insane as a business at 9:30 you’d rather have an empty table (a few empty tables) with nobody on it over a family on a table with drinks on?! Wouldn’t mind if it’s peak time for food it wasn’t. You advertise as a sports cafe and look a sports bar. Poor business here.

We just had a quick drink on the terrace and had a nice conversation with a waiter. So actually I was there too short to be able to really give a good judgement.

Avoid this place. There are just so many better options. Service was nice, no fault of their own, but they definitely don't know how to make a good meal. Some of the worst Italian food we've ever eaten. Gnocchi was borderline undercooked, and the mussels were tasteless and fishy (definitely previously frozen).

Perhaps this was the best culinary experience my husband and I had in Amsterdam. The ribs dish is a must try, the meat is tender, rich, and can be eaten unlimitedly. Add a glass of Heineken beer and it's over.

Very kind staff, super nice and delicious food! We sang all evening! The waiter Antonio was legendary who put Italian songs for us to sing!

The shop is in a central location, extremely easy to find. As for food, I recommend everyone to try the grilled ribs. It's really delicious beyond my imagination. You can order extra ribs if you want🥰.

This place does not meet my standards for a sports bar. At first we had a great time and the staff seemed quite friendly. However, when we hadn't ordered anything for about half an hour, the TV was switched to another channel. We were told we had to order something to continue looking through. (We had already spent about €15 per person in the hour before.) Unfortunately, you have lost out on a number of future customers due to this promotion. I think many would appreciate it if this policy could be read somewhere, that seems very decent to me.

Had the ribs all you can eat and it was great. Super smooth ribs, bbq topping was OK and the waiter was super friendly. Inner city of Amsterdam looks super cute, worth to visit. Parked 10min away from the inner city.

We came to watch the Formula 1 race and ordered about €60 worth of drinks and food. Halfway through the race the stuff turned off the race and said “No order, no TV” because we did not keep ordering. The place was half empty and no one was waiting for a table either. If you’re looking for a place to watch sports this place sucks 😐

Upt. We ordered Aperols but got some tasteless drinks with ice cubes, slice of orange and water. I couldn’t feel even any taste of aperol, soda or Prosecco. Moreover a girl-employee was so rude and unwelcoming!

Great place for a beer and something to eat

Some friends and I came to the place to try to watch a soccer game, we were able to get a high table and ordered at the bar (they don't serve the table if you don't order food). After a while I politely ask the waiter if they are going to show the soccer game we wanted to see and just before finishing the sentence he answers me in a derogatory and rude manner more or less as follows: look, do you know what I'm telling you? We're not going to show a Spanish soccer game because Spaniards don't tip. If you gave me 300 euros as a tip, I would give it to you without a problem, but there are people here who want to watch their soccer games and they do leave good tips, so we put in whatever they ask of us. My face was one of total astonishment and without wanting to get into more controversy we had our round of drinks and left there quite upset by the treatment received from this waiter who was also Spanish like us.

The best all day breakfast in Amsterdam. Staff are really friendly. Had a few pints of heniken too which where nice.

We had a bad experience at this restaurant, despite the reviews here on Maps. My girlfriend and I went to try to have dinner, so I would order a Ribs Unlimited and she, as she wasn't very hungry, would just order a salad to eat. We ordered, so the employee told us that it wouldn't be possible for us to order these dishes without both of us also ordering a drink, when I just wanted a beer. In other words, in addition to the high price (21.95), they also forced us to order at least 2 drinks to have dinner there. We picked up our things and went to eat at another restaurant next door. Poor management and greed on the part of the bar. I don't recommend anything.

A disappointing place, the truth is that the workers are not very nice, they use drugs every day and well, people there are not happy and you can see in the atmosphere a rather sad and rather empty place always, plus their food is not that good for the prices they have, you can choose better place that here!!

Saying at the door that ID is fake when it is not. Police also wanted to see ID and was just a real one. They still turned us away at the door

One wizard from the inside was very shouty and ironic. Very salty and hiperbolic! He thus took us from chair to chair, shouting at us here and there. At last we came to the fated table, and found ourselves at the end of this fable, only to be set anew in a spew of words againt our crew. So we pushed through both good and bad, happy or sad, funny or wack, to the end of said path. 9 times or skin was pierced, penetrated. The irony of the guide, however, did not help.

Sat here for 20 mins. Several waiters said they would be at us in a bit, but all never came. It was really empty so I really dont know why it took so long. Left after 20 mins

Mario the manager recommended me the mini cheese soufle, I enjoyed the atmosphere a lot while I was watching a football match. Good job all the staff!

The visit coincided with the first game of the European Cup between Germany and Scotland. When we arrived, both the restaurant and the pub were full, so we sat at an outdoor side seat. There are also a few small TVs on the side for watching the game, but the fatal problem is that no one cares about you here! No waiter will come! I asked the muscular guy wearing headphones and a suit many times at the door of the store. Every time I talked to him, he felt like he was going to eat me. It was scary. What are you doing, cosplaying The Matrix? I clearly remember that I asked Brother Muscle when I could order food. Brother Muscle sent a message to the waitress in the store, and the waitress shouted "I don't care!" Not surprisingly, we waited for nearly half of the time. It took an hour for someone to come and take our order. I ordered the unlimited pork chop, and my friend ordered a beef sandwich. The first serving was relatively quick. There is nothing to criticize about the pork chop, it was sweet and rich, not greasy at all. Compared with the unlimited pork chop in Ghent, this one has a better and refreshing taste. I ordered refills twice and the food was served slowly. But it’s really filling and quite cost-effective. Friends said the beef was also very good! The atmosphere for watching football is really good, not just in the pub, because the restaurant is located in a food street, and the whole street is boiling!

All you can eat ribs, ice cold beer, fast and friendly service and American sports all in one spot! I stumbled upon this gem of a sports bar and could not have been happier with my decision to come here.

The coffee is nice, the atmosphere was cool, I ate well, the blond boy with tattoos was very friendly, he gave us very good advice and even made recommendations for visiting the city. I recommend without hesitation!

Great watering and sports watching spot

My friend and I had a horrible experience here, I received her recommendation for the ribs here. When we sat outside, she is a neat person and took out a comb from her handbag just to comb her hair from Dutch wind. A man who claimed to be the owner came and said in a bad and threatening tone that we were disturbing other guests and affecting other people's dining environment, and finally asked us to leave. If he said it kindly, I would totally understand, but my friend didn't know this rule and didn't mean to mess up others around. I don't think anyone needs to treat his customers like slaves. Moreover, the reason for this problem is that in order to make money, they arrange the tables outside very densely, you can hardly even pass by, the tables are too crowded and there is no personal space. We are not tourists, we have lived in the Netherlands for many years and have never had this experience in any restaurant. I can only say that this owner is a disgrace to Amsterdam and the Dutch tourism industry.

We were sitting outside and having dinner on the busy street was amazing! Food was very good and prices were decent. The service was quick and comfortable. When sitting outside you pay ahead so when you finish you can just go.

I was on holiday with my two cousins. It was my first time visiting the Netherlands. We sat down to have lunch, my cousins both went inside to place their orders while I kept our table. I then went inside to place my order and was rudely told to get back to my table and someone would come take my order. I tried explaining how my two cousins had already placed their orders and that we were going to be paying separately, to again, be scolded to get outside. Strangely, the member of staff that was scolding me a minute ago, then passed by and was suddenly friendly when my cousin called her over and asked if our bill could be split as we were making payments by cash and cards. On principle alone, I decided not to order anymore. The prices seemed reasonable and the food seemed decent but the customer service I received was abysmal. I would not spend my hard earned money here ever.

Yes it was good enough, the breakfast looked like it was a lot of food, but it wasn't brilliant to eat, nothing particularly nice about it, very average.

It's our tradition to come here for retreat every special events. Always comes here for Unlimited Spare Ribs. Staffs are friendly and don't be hesitate if you want more refill. Dog owners can sit and enjoy on the terras. Good location in a touristic area, open late till 3am so this is also a good choice for late night out

We went with a group of friends to eat at this place, we ordered several dishes among these UNLIMITED ribs, we were 9 people and only two did not order food (because they had eaten before and did not want to eat) and those of us who ordered the ribs arrived at the time of repeat the manager MARIO to tell us that it was not allowed to repeat a first time because one of the people wanted to share his ribs with his partner or perhaps someone wanted to give another person a taste of theirs, which seems to me that makes no sense since most had their own plate and the others didn't really want to eat. They tell us that it is not possible to repeat because we do not comply with the rules, and nowhere are there rules, much less did they let us know that if only ONE person wanted to share a piece, no one could ask to repeat their portion of ribs. In addition to the ridiculous situation, the attitude and attention of the manager MARIO from the moment we arrived was rejection, not wanting to let us enter the place. maybe xenophobia? homophobia? or just immaturity and terrible service. I have frequented on many occasions but today was different; Did a Spanish guy help me? “blond” hair, black beard with piercings. He was quite arrogant. He doesn't know how to explain anything at all and he doesn't have the patience to listen. We went as a group and 4 people ordered ribs; 3 of them shared, the fourth person when asking for the second round was denied just because the others shared. UNFAIR!!! They could be clearer with their policies and thus avoid this type of inconvenience.

Yesterday evening we went for a late dinner with a group of 9. Food was good, service good, all was fine upon till 4 people wanted to order one more round of ribs, when one of the waiters (who wasn't involved with our table) started to aggressively explain how that was not going to happen because he saw us "sharing" the ribs, mind you that everyone except 1 person didn't order food as it was late. From a restaurant their point of view I understand. Unfortunately, it wasn't the case that the ribs were being shared around with the whole table, as almost everyone had their own plate of food. Some took a taste from others plate. With this being said, I'm not upset about the rules or politics. It's understandable that you don't want people taking advantage of your deal with the unlimited ribs. My problem is with the way we were being spoken to and treated. There was absolutely no talking with this waiter, he wasn't open to listen, but just there to treat us like little children and being straight up unpleasant to talk with. I don't think this is how you should treat customers, we were on the way of becoming regulars. In a short period of time we have visited this place a lot and everything is always great. I sincerely hope that Mario will change his behaviour towards his guests. And if he doesn't like his job maybe reconsider his profession. As someone who comes from the hospitality, this hostile approach can cause the place to lose customers. I don't know if we will be back.

Update 2024: I changed my initial review from 4 to 1 star. The staff are extremely rude starting with the manager. The ribs quality went down, the place became one of the worst tourist traps in Amsterdam. Avoid at all cost! Old review 2018: Great unlimited spare Ribs! Drinks are a bit expensive though so make sure to ask for the prices of the drinks beforehand

The food was passable, the potato was a little cold but had a good flavor and the bitterballen were regular. It didn't take them too long to serve us. The beer extremely hot and the wine more or less good. The worst thing of all is that the waiter kept turning the music up to the maximum and mind you, I'm the first one who likes to have music and make it sound good, but it was so loud that it hurt your ears.
