This place tries to look vintage but it just looks tired and sad. The pastries are few and just in the open getting stale quickly. The coffee is fine.

Very cosy cafe with delicious coffee.

They brought the pastries on a wooden board, which I really liked. It looks much more inviting than a standard plate. The cake itself was nice and soft and still a little warm, mmm. The coffee was nice and hot and not bitter for once. The service was friendly, although they did forget a spoon, but hey, it happens. The atmosphere is cozy and bright.

We tried the waffle, excellent. The cappuccino was excellent. The black coffee was excellent. The muffin was excellent.

Very slow worker, took 20 minutes to take our orders even tho we were standing at the ordering booth. They only take card. You can get way better matcha at other places!

I love coffee and I never thought I'd enjoy it this much when I bought it from here 🤤🤩 The coffee is exactly my favorite consistency, slightly thick and velvety 🤌🏻 I don't like watery coffees at all. I had breakfast at this truly welcoming place and was pleasantly surprised. For about €16 for two, we had two excellent coffees, a fluffy waffle, and a delicious brownie, both carefully prepared and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is thoughtfully designed, quiet, and intimate, making it perfect for a romantic moment. An ideal place to start the day with peace and flavor. I'll definitely be back!

Delicious cappuccino, made with almond milk; strong double espresso, just right. The fruit muffin and carrot cake were different and tasty. Price was okay for the city.

A very nice café. It's a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city with all its people and a chance to recharge your batteries. They also serve delicious cake.

Distracted and apatethic service, you can walk in and wait 2mins before they even say “hi” to you. When bringing my order, I also had to specifically ask if they could bring away the last costumer’s cups from my table, unless the waitress would have just left them there. The decor wants to look cozy, but they served our chocolate in a trivial paper cup. On each table, the sugar and the coffee stirrers are kept in another basic paper cup, which I don’t think they change often because it was very dirty

Unfortunately, it is permanently closed at 10:00, so anyone hoping to have coffee here at 10:00 will not be able to do so.

It's very expensive for not much... The espresso is almost cold, the cakes are not very flavorful, the waitress is not mean but not nice either. We are mainly paying for the beautiful decor

I usually come to this café and I really like the space, but I feel the need to leave this review because I’ve noticed something that keeps happening. Almost every time I visit, there’s only one staff member working alone, and it’s clear how stressed and overwhelmed she is — and not just once, but consistently. The café is quite big and definitely needs at least two people to manage it properly. It feels very unfair to the worker and also affects the overall service. I don’t know who the owner is, but I hope they read this and realize that saving money on staff isn’t worth it when it comes at the cost of their employees’ wellbeing and customer experience. Please do better.

We have been here three days in a row. Best coffee we have had in Amsterdam over the days. First couple times we took takeaway and finally we had table service. Overall a great experience and totally recommend.

Very nice place. It is calm and cozy. The Latte Macchiato is very good. I recommend it if you want to take a break on your visit of amsterdam!

Every time I visit Amsterdam I go to this cafe for a cup of tea and a sweet treat. The girl that works at the register is so sweet and fast (I never wait for my order more than 5-10 minutes). The place itself is cozy and warm, really love it here. They have a lot of different sweets like brownies, muffins, cookies and cakes, even though I always order the same stuff :) If you visit Amsterdam and you are looking for a place to relax at the end of a busy day, I definitely recommend to visit this cafe

The staff is really friendly and smiling, which makes the welcome very warm. The coffee is good and beautiful, and the decoration is charming, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Too bad the music is too loud, it spoils the atmosphere. With a lower volume, the café would be even more cozy and welcoming.

Flat white was luke warm, no tosties available. The carrot cake was nice, the muffin bit too hard. The toilet could have been cleaner. Not a great place, but we were happy to sit down. The coffee has a good price, the cake very expensive (13 euro for a muffin and a cake).
