I stepped in for a coffee not expecting much. My cappuccino was surprisingly good.

We weren't served. The staff sat boredly behind the bar while the tables were still covered in dirty dishes from previous guests.

I liked their iced latte. The atmosphere is nice as well.

Nice place, but unfortunately, perhaps due to a staff shortage, it no longer meets certain hygiene standards (not clean). Restrooms, Starbucks-level. Dramatic.

We had a little ❤️ for this establishment. So much so that we returned twice during our stay. The staff is lovely, the place is welcoming, the prices are affordable, and above all, the drinks are truly delicious. I fell in love with their iced matcha berry 🫐🫶🏻 You can eat in or take away.

I come here often, both for a good cup of coffee and a friendly chat! There's plenty of room inside to study, but also to chat with friends or people-watch on the terrace outside. If I'm feeling a bit down, I often pop in and leave with a smile on my face.

It's a nice place but extremely hot inside in the summer. And the big table in the middle consists of giant logs that are not leveled. So you can't comfortably put your laptop on it.

Hey lady, you can certainly tell me beforehand that you don't have any straws when I order an iced latte. If I ask afterward where your straws are and you nonchalantly say "I don't have any," and I ask you why you couldn't tell me beforehand when ordering, you don't have to be offended. And tell me I don't have to talk to you like that. The Ekoplaza, for example, is literally three doors down from you, so you can quickly grab some straws for your customers, just to put it mildly. It's a bit odd to hold it against the customer, I think.

Excellent coffee, in a pretty nice neighborhood. However, the cleanliness of the restrooms needs to be improved; there was no toilet paper in one and a trace of poop on the bowl of the other. The barista didn't seem very happy to serve us. Luckily, the 6 euro iced latte was excellent.

My favorite coffee spot for years, but lately I've been less than thrilled. I often come in for my morning coffee, and they're closed. No notice or message on the door, etc. Very annoying. Also, often only one person working instead of two. So, extremely long lines. What's going on? Something wrong with staff scheduling? Or...?

Absolutely terrible service here, with super rude people. The google maps listing shows they are open until 17.30 yet at 17.00 they refused to serve me a coffee because “they need to clean the machine”. And then on top of that this person gave me a snotty attitude as I left!! Pro tip from a barista - clean the machine after closing time, guys.

My medium Latte was good. Croissant was flaky. €8.45. So just what I was after. Atmosphere is functional with a large shared table and some smaller tables around the perimeter. Service was sooooo slow.

Always found this to be a simple, fun Coffee Company with good staff. However, they are allowed to sell more drinks, for example a healthy Smoothie, Diet Coke and Bitter Lemon. Only coffee and tea is a bit sparse

The place I found after going to the Van Gogh Museum and visiting Miffy Shop! After leaving the hectic center of Amsterdam, I found a peaceful neighborhood. I was passing by and thought it had a nice atmosphere so I stopped by. I was able to drink iced chocolate, which was perfect for my taste as I don't drink coffee. Originally, they only had hot chocolate, so I asked if iced chocolate was available, and they happily made it for me. If you are looking for a relaxed local feel, I recommend this place.

very good, with many different options. The guys who work are very helpful, hard workers, even when it's full they always try to satisfy everyone so don't be rude have a little patience especially as the coffee is delicious. The coffee production and trade line is carefully followed from the producer to the seller and all rights and regulations are respected. A decidedly healthy coffee from an ethical point of view.

The Coffee Company on the Scheldestraat has been my favorite coffee shop in Amsterdam for years. The people are incredibly friendly and now know my regular order. Highly recommended if you are in the Rivierenbuurt.

Today I was at the Coffeecompany on the Scheldestraat and I am very satisfied. The service was fast and the employee was friendly. Moreover, they have tasty food such as croissants, toasted sandwiches or cake. The atmosphere is good. Both people on their laptops and people just having a cup of coffee with their dog. Tip if you are near the Scheldestraat in Zuid!

Sunday 13 oct. The Barista who worked today was REALLY good. I ordered a flat white and this was that one in ten coffees that's just perfect. She wasn't really friendly though.

Why doe Coffee Company believe that its coffee should be the most expensive of the whole city? And for that you get inexperienced though friendly staff.

My absolute favourite coffeeplace in Amsterdam. There is a calm, relaxed and welcoming vibe. Perfect to catch up with a friend or study multiple hours. And not to forget, reallyyyyy good coffee and the nicest baristas :)

Unfriendly staff, they rather be on their phones and chit chat with each other than helping guests. Besides, the coffee was quite tangy, after mentioning it to one of the barista's I got a new coffee, however it had the exact same tangy flavour. They might need to check the setting of their coffee machine or check their beans. Definitely not worth the price.

I’ve long loved Coffee Company as a place to study, and I came across this one by (happy) accident while looking for a place to finish a paper in Amsterdam Zuid. This has to be the best CC i’ve been to in the Netherlands, the area is really calm and the food/drink are always good, even though maybe a bit pricy. Their matcha is great!!

A coffee shop with a European feel. A different feeling from Korea. There are so many people doing something on the computer in a coffee shop. I wonder if there are a lot of freelancers in the Netherlands~^^ I arrived at RAI a little early and thought this was the best coffee shop on the street. When I searched to see if it was a franchise, several came up ^^ The coffee is clean and the flat white has a strong, bitter coffee flavor~!! The place is cozy and nice, but there are so many people that it’s difficult to take pictures of the restaurant~ ^^

Normally I'm not a whiner, but this is already the 4th time that my Capuccino has been made strong... because of this I hardly come by, while I used to come by every day before I start work... I have 4 euros left 4 times missed something and threw away coffee because of this

This review reflects my experience during my first visit to the coffecompany scheldestraat. The first, but certainly not the last. Unknowingly, I got out of bed this morning with the idea of ​​trying something new: the coffee company. I had heard of it, but what should I expect? Tensed but enthusiastic, I started the bike ride there and my tension only increased. Once I arrived I was amazed by the beauty of the building and it seemed as if time stood still. Cars stopped honking, children stopped crying and the birds even seemed to stop chirping for a moment. This is how I experienced those first seconds in front of the coffee company Scheldestraat. After gathering myself, I stepped inside to be greeted by the friendliest people I had ever seen. Their smiles were so bright that I was almost blinded by them and their gentle tone was so beautiful that I had to fight back tears of emotion. I placed my order and sat down in a chair that was so comfortable that I wouldn't be surprised if Willem-Alexander would take a seat in it next year while reading the speech from the throne. I must have gotten lost in my thoughts there at some point because I was suddenly woken up by the incredibly charismatic staff telling me it was closing time. For the second time that day, I fought back tears. Not least because my visit had ended in what felt like a split second. Mainly, however, the tears came from the realization that I had found a new place where I could go when I wanted to surround myself with joy, when the world became too much for me or simply when I simply felt like it. A new home. I would like to thank everyone who made this experience possible. Thank you coffecompany scheldestraat, you are great.
